    • How nice that they referred to the female as a ‘young mum’, sounds so pleasant doesn’t it. And then you read she’s a member of a prominent Mob family (as if such a thing should be allowed to exist) and stabbed someone who was sitting in a car.
Regardless of who the victim may be, or what she thought he had done, no reporter should be identifying her as anything other than a criminal.

    • I am sorry to inform you that the scum didn’t pay for the KC you and I did.
Legal Aid is another rort on the taxpayer.

I am aware of a couple of Family Court cases where there are abuses of Legal Aid entitlement, but there is no phone number for reporting and the listed email addresses for both Auckland and Wellington don’t work. There is absolutely no incentive to keep anyone honest.

        • I don’t distress with you Kea, entitled to defence and all that.
But legal aid isn’t available to ordinary folk who own their homes and have a job. While they are paying eye-watering sums in legal fees, the other party has an open cheque book to pursue whatever waffle they like.
Classic case was the wee Māori girl being raised by a pakeha family while the drop-kick mother (who’d had each one of her kids removed) and OT mounted a ruinous legal battle to have the kid ripped out of a safe and happy home because it wasn’t brown enough. The responsible carers had to abandon the case for financial reasons.
Aren’t you glad you paid that bill? //

Least of all the legal aid lawyers. One I used to know said when they lost a case it was ok for the lawyers as the client would be back soon so they could collect another LA payment.

Damian Oconor speaking today , FFS the dopey looking moron must have drank that much free top shelf quality whiskey and gorged on so much 5 star food he’s lost a week somewhere, hopefully his idiot voters lose a week also and forget to vote for him and his wierdo caucus.

      • Several blocks from the Mansion Leofric, on a prominent neighbourhood corner, there is a large red billboard featuring glowing photographs of a smirking Chippy Chipkins and his morbidly obese local rep Fatty Creamcakes. The billboard stands in the middle of the unkempt lawn of an equally unkempt weatherboard duplex, fronted by a berm with grass and weeds about eighteen inches high, reaching halfway up the rusting wire mesh fence. I consider it all rather symbolic.

      • HP,if you’re coming in from the south it’s hard to find a nice looking farm, the land isn’t the best for growing beautiful green grass ,a lot of the land was turned over by special machines that were meant to transform the area but the crap just grew back through it ,lots of rocks as well ,badlands is a good description actually without an enormous amount of hard work.

  3. Morning all, I’m still alive but have been very much out of action for medical reasons for the last week. Bit of a pain in the middle of an election campaign, remember 2 ticks Green gets you a free suit of sackcloth & ashes and a signed photo of Eugenia and the Persian rug showing the Auckland central carpet muncher how it’s done. On the positive side, there hasn’t been a double stabbing up this way for at least 24 hours. I’m off for a rest, have a great day everyone.

    • So the stupid bitch used her extensive media reach to help J&J push the experimental DNA toxin on the population – and now she regrets it? Well, cry me a river of tears.

I suppose in a way it’s a positive development that a media personality has come out with something like this, but instead of ‘me me me’ I think a heartfelt apology would have been more appropriate.

  4. Was our contract with phizer like this.
    Who got the back handers?

Pfizer, J&J Pressured South Africa Into Shielding Companies From COVID Vaccine Injury Claims: Documents
    COVID Vaccines

Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson pressured South Africa into implementing provisions that shielded the companies from claims over COVID-19 vaccine injuries, newly disclosed documents show.

Pfizer made the implementation of indemnification and a compensation fund part of its COVID-19 vaccine contract with South Africa, according to documents obtained by the Health Justice Initiative.

One document states that South Africa was agreeing to “indemnify, defend, and hold harmless” Pfizer and its partner BioNTech, as well as their representatives, “from and against any and all suits, claims, actions, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, settlements, penalties, fines, costs and expenses” arising from claims resulting from the vaccine, including injuries.

The only exceptions were for a breach of confidentiality or fraud.

    Much more; https://www.theepochtimes.com/health/pfizer-jj-pressured-south-africa-into-shielding-companies-from-covid-vaccine-injury-claims-documents-5487776

    Payments

The contracts, handed over on orders from a court, also confirmed that Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer required South Africa to make large payments, with the condition that at least some of the money would not be refunded if no doses were delivered.

South Africa was required to make a down payment of $27.5 million within five days of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorizing Johnson & Johnson’s shot.

The down payment was not refundable “in any circumstances,” according to the contract. Other parts of the document said that a refund could be sought on grounds of willful default or in the event the vaccine was determined to be unsafe

So that’s what Labour, the Nats, ACT, Greens and others all signed up to.
Why would ANYONE TRUST any of those arsewipes?
    WhyWhywhy.
Think before you vote for a continuance of the same shit from the same arseholes.

  5. Dear Gab Community,

In a digital age where online platforms seem to bow to external pressures and censorship demands, Gab proudly stands as a bastion of free speech. We’ve weathered storms, faced adversity, and stood firm in our commitment to protect your right to speak freely. Recent events, highlighted by the #BantheADL movement, have once again illuminated the vital role Gab plays in defending free speech.

The ADL and the Censorship Machine

#BantheADL exposed what lies beneath the surface of the modern censorship machine, with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) emerging as a central figure in this complex web. While many platforms have capitulated to external influences, Gab has steadfastly resisted these pressures for seven years and counting.

    Community-Powered Resistance

Our strength lies in our community. We’ve held our ground thanks to your unwavering support. Gab operates and thrives because of you. Your voices, your engagement, and your dedication to free speech fuel our mission.

    Facing Sustained Attacks

In recent days, we’ve encountered a sustained assault from various state actors including many attacks from Israeli IPs. These attacks have taken various forms, from denial of service attacks to spam generation and content scraping. To protect our infrastructure and community, we occasionally need to take drastic measures to mitigate their impact.
    —————————–

Oh so its Israel and not the Russians nor the Chinese so the CIA then.

    • Should the human race survive and return to holding rational thought as the prerequisite for human existence in the future, then this epoch of time will be a treasure trove of material for future students and law makers to revisit and learn how mental illness can infest humanity when it is not called out and then stomped out.

  7. Here is a National Party policy I can fully support. Going back to teaching kids to reads using the phonics method. Only problem is most of the teachers will have to be trained in how to do it —not a good enough reason to not adopt the policy ; it will just mean the teachers will have to do some real professional development.

The Wellington bureaucracy are playing dirty for their Labour Party masters. Just 5 weeks out from an election.

“But here’s the rub. If Federated Farmers, and presumably other NGOs like Fish and Game and the Environmental Defence Society and possibly Greenpeace were to start a resource management process under the new legislation, the Ministry would pay them $600,000.”

  8. During the Covid lockdown the nearest thing they could get to a double act at Swansea Repertory theatre was a ventriloquist and his dummy. Being a man he started telling jokes about dumb blondes. After about the fourth or fifth joke a blonde woman in the audience stood up and said “ I strongly object to the jokes you are telling. There is no correlation between hair pigmentation and intelligence. By telling jokes of the sort you are reinforcing an irrational male prejudice which handicaps women like me in our career development and even in our interpersonal relationships.”

The ventriloquist was very much taken aback and said that he was very sorry.

She said “you keep out of this I was talking to the little bastard sitting on your knee.”

    • wg? you posted a link the other day about Trump & some change on his position in regard to vaccines?
Can you post it again, best place will be on the other post today, “more covid bullshit”
      Thanks in advance.

      5

      • Thanks wg..
I know we are often deluged with info, and I thought I would check back on it later, but never did.
Then it came up in a conversation about Trump, & I recalled that you had posted something that was contrary to what was being said about Trump & vaccines.
Search machines far too often shadow ban or omit making it difficult to find, let alone the the deluge of just info, and not having the key word to make that connection.

But can not remember the day you posted it, and have done a lot search scrolling, but then in tiredness may have missed it.

Not to worry, as now I am aware of it, then will be keeping an eye out for something that will align with the gist about it.

    • As a young lad I had a female relative who by her own accounts and that of other people had partaken in the eating of human flesh as a young child. She claimed Pakeha had the sweetest flesh, but Maori flesh was too stringy like old mutton.
It’s not uncommon in Maoridom to deny cannibalism. The claim is considered a historical invention

      10

      0

        • I’m guessing the grandad told her that in the 50s or 60s? My relative told me this in the early 60s. She lived to 9O years of age.
People often call bs on these claims because NZ had police ( formed 1886) and soldiers etc. That fact is NZ was the wild west well into the 19th century in certain areas.

The white coloniser’s hate filled response was to put out a bowl of soup for the rabid axe swinger.

          • Ronnie:—
Wild west was a lot more based, not so wild, and justice could be found.
            https://ammo.com/articles/american-old-west-hollywood-wild-west-money-gun-control
Also note the low crime statistics in that article.

In New Zealand the wild west could still be found in some parts after WW2., but usually it was sorted.

Now what is horse rustling, car converting ;- cattle rustling, ram raiding, any different?
            But no justice !
So we can see a return to barbaric savagery, that uses glossy terms that Poverty Creates Crime.
But it is Crime Creates Poverty, that spreads to impoverish all.

Consider just how far unaccountable Taxation become a Crime?

        • To be fair, in the long past days when people still displayed a sense of humour, Maori would dine out on their reputation as cannibals. An old mate of mine, long dead, was part of the 2nd NZ Division which fought in Italy about the time of Cassino.

Then soldiers of the Maori Battalion did little to dispel rumours that they liked the taste of human flesh.

He reckoned that the Germans accepted the risks of dying but the thought of being eaten afterwards totally unnerved them.

That’s why they are housed in motels.

    • A curiosity for me back in the 1970’s in a remote, rural fern surrounded cemetery, that besides the usual recent burials, was the small baby plots.
At that time I wondered if the births were registered? and then were the deaths registered?
Rightly or wrongly I figured the births would have been registered as then some social welfare came their way for the family.
Now I wonder I wonder if they have been voting in recent elections?
Soon they will be eligible for collecting a pension, again for the family.

Now it seems I wonder if the bones that were interred there have been split for the marrow, and bite marks to get to the juicy bits.

With the bullshit of supposed innocence, makes it even more plausible, like how the sacred wood pigeon carcasses flies in the suit pockets of some these indigenous ones.

  9. Patrick was having a vacation in Australia
and couldn’t seem to make it with any of the girls….So he asked the local lifeguard for some advice.

Mate, it’s obvious,’ says the lifeguard, you’re wearing them old baggy swimming trunks that make ya look like an old geezer. They’re years outta style.

Your best bet is to grab yourself a pair of Speedos – About two sizes
too small and drop a fist-sized potato down inside ’em.
I’m tellin’ ya mate…you’ll have all the babes ya want!’

The following weekend, Patrick hits the beach with his spanking new tight Speedos, and his fist-sized potato. Everybody on the beach was disgusted as he walked by, covering their faces, turning away, and laughing, looking sick!

So Patrick went back to the lifeguard again and asked him,
    ‘What’s wrong now?’

‘JEEZUS CHRIST!’ said the lifeguard, ‘Maaaaate. The potato goes in front!’

  10. Another great piece from Lindsay Mitchell about the indoctrination of the Police.

“The police propaganda examines family harm and delivers a faulty diagnosis: that Maori offenders have no free will. That their actions are determined by past circumstances beyond their control. We can but await the sixth, seventh and eighth generations of violent offenders.
I’m not buying it. Blame must be laid, in the first instance, at the feet of family violence perpetrators. The principles of personal agency and responsibility must be paramount. On what other basis can an effective policing system operate? No purpose is served by sending police into volatile and dangerous situations with heads full of guilt about their colonial past.”

Trouble was in stead of waiting for the wind to nlow out to sea, lit it and blew over the local school! Been greenies the teachers all commplained! So he got dragged before the beak, by regionaĺ council, for asbestos, old tyres, bitumen etc and from memory $66,000 fine!

    • catch anything descent or just shitfish?
ill probs take my millenial gizmos/clutter out to a new spot down here tommorow to see whats around.

do you just spin with softbaits? why no bait fishing and target other species?
throw a prawn or paddle crab on and catch yourself a rig (think the queers up there call them spotted smooth hound) they give a descent fight and are one of the best eating sharks. do you get moki etc up that way too?

      5

      0

      • Good questions. Yep just spin with lures. I haven’t got the patience for bait. But you are right and I’m considering trying other options to catch different species. My spots are a bit hard to describe. I don’t know anyone who does it like me.

⚠️The hardest part about drone fishing is telling your parents you’re gay.

im one of the most impatient pricks around, a few years ago i would never have thought id be sitting on a beach watching a fishing rod. once you start catching a few descent fish tho you realise its worth the wait.
Dont think id do it if i was alone tho as id get bored, the wee dude n the dog are good company and excellent bonding time, ive got a good mate that goes with us most of the time aswell. couple of camp chairs, small fire and a couple of beers = bloody good arvo at the beach.

you tried squid jigging? probs not much different to what you doin now just use different style lure (expensive tho) and chuck em out over kelp and slow jig em back in. fresh squid is unreal eating, shits all over bought stuff.

          • I get it. Plus you’ve got kids. I’ve taken young people fishing and yep it’s different. Hard core social failures riddled with issues. But they all became good buggers connected with nature. In town they were front page news terrorists.

            • my wee dudes a different kid out in nature, hes a right little fucker at home but take him fishin or hunting and hes like a mature adult with a bit of a playful flair.
hes 8 now, i got him into spin fishing last year and he loves it aswell as bait fishing…. cost me a few lures tho! lucky i kept all my old dinged up ones for him to practice with, he can cast right across the mataura river up where we live.

    • Maybe gouging or not.

Who really wants to be signed up for a major insurance claim, whilst that company goes into liquidation?

The problem is we have to work out the credit rating, to what to believe, in assessing what insurance company,
Then to figure, just what is the cover needed, to compare what you are prepared to take on as risk.
Then difficulty of working out if the premium to pay, is worth the remainder of that risk.

So dammed difficult to figure.. as the company set up & the ones in the suits are close to being shysters.

The issue for me is how the pooling is done, and then how the actuaries figure to cover those risks.
Like how is that Christchurch has to help cover for losses in Auckland & the East Coast.
Was it initially a much cheaper premium by encompassing a much larger pool, to spread the costs over?
