      • The U.N. somehow needs to be tackled bigtime on what is really child abuse.how do you confront this body and make them responsible for so much damage?

        • if all the money being spent on “climate change” was spent on clean water and birth control, we’d all bedda off.
The populations of China, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Uganda, The Philippines, Indonesia and Egypt are out of control.

            • Yes. know some people who are teachers and I wouldn’t trust them around my children if I still had any of school age. The ones I know can hardly string a sentence together and they seem there simply to push their political agendas onto young impressionable minds.

A civilisation’s decay starts with the destruction of the education system and ours is surely well decomposing now.

  1. Appropriate pic given what is happening in Hong Kong.

If anyone doubts what the Chinese will do jus take a look at the dairy industry. Look how they have trashed the share values of Westland, and now the Aussie company that hooked up to Beingmate. Fonterra will cry tears before getting shot of the pirates. for they have always been pirates and have the communist state to back them up.
Sad for Hong Kong, and dangerous for all our small countries.

Is the dirty little deviat in it?

      • It’s voting time. what else do you think caused these things to come out now? And remember there is ALWAYS ALWAYS two sides to a story like this.
Given some of these people can be right tarts as most men will know I would be wary of the stories and the same applies to the Labour person.
Unless or until we can see the evidence to judge for ourselves then we should apply a degree of wariness and skepticism to these things.
OK, anything that gets rid of Labour will do but everyone is entitled to a fair unbiased hearing. Might by anyone of us men next time. In my work, I am very careful not to put myself in a position where I am alone with a female. It is just not worth it. Advice from my Lawyer years ago.

    • Or just tell her to fuck off. She’s the inept leader of a country with a population less than most villages in the rest of the world. And horrifying as it is, the number of people who died in her “Christchurch Call” are a drop in the bucket compared to what happens with Islamic terrorism in the world on a daily basis.

  4. WINZ slammed for routinely phoning deaf clients
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/shows/2019/06/winz-slammed-for-routinely-phoning-deaf-clients.html

“Newshub Nation has learned Work and Income (WINZ) routinely phone clients they know have hearing loss and can’t use phones.”

As a small business owner and someone with common sense I cannot fathom the lack of initiative shown by many who work in govt departments. Do they follow department “process” to the letter by shear bloody-minded ideology, or is it they don’t care and it is easier to only pretend you are contacting clients so you don’t have to do the actual work? Phoning clients you know are deaf and cannot hear the phone is idiotic.

      • Are these landlines or cellphones?
Media types will make a story that adds column inches without adding facts.
The Govt dept interaction I have had in the last 2 months have been via cellphone – IRD; Internal Affairs; MBIE come to mind. They do call cellphones. There are text reminders as well.

It could be a part of a current media beat up of WINZ.
Media filth have been known to lie or mislead to the point it is an effective lie!

Deaf people with cellphones might use a lot of text communication or messaging with the likes of Whatsapp or Skype.
For a hearing impaired person that would make a huge difference esp as a land line cannot perform that function.

For a low income person eg. disability benefits, that may be their only internet connection . eg 2 Degrees at $30 gives unlimited text and phone calls to NZ + AU and 2.5 GB of data with rollover to 12 months.

You can email to a phone and attach documents.
        Many uses.

        0

        0

        • I pay $10/mo for my phone to 2 Degrees. I get 100 minutes with rollover. I rarely use my 100 minutes. However, I have a landline.

  5. Government introduces a tax incentive scheme for small business to encourage investment
    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12269967

“We’re changing this so businesses can deduct ‘feasibility expenditure’ from their tax bills, including for projects that don’t end up going ahead.”

In other words, if a business invests in new product-enhancing technology but that investment does not work out, that business owner will now be able to claim a tax deduction on that cost.

Under the current rules, there is no allowance for such a deduction which, says Robertson, has meant less innovation in the market.”

    0

    0

    • The example they give is just normal R&D expenditure, in my view, which would be a deductible expense. If a business buys a piece of equipment to use in a new project that subsequently does not work then I would have normal depreciation allowances still apply.
While I can understand the startup situation I do not see much change in the rest.

      0

3 support staff to each group. = 750.
      Hotels, transport, resteraunts, taxis, =2000.
      Service industries, office supplies.
      True figures will be hidden!

And I’ve set up an email group for Labour with all the Labour MPs on it
And I’ve set up an email group for left wing Maori Mps’

This allows me to send an email every few days to lots of people.

        Dear Sirs and Madams

Please back off this Zero Climate Change Bill

        What is Climate Change?

        Global Warming I could understand?

The science is not settled – Peter Williams has brought one denier scientist on every day for the last week or so on Magic Talk.

Go back and look at graphs for 100 years! not 20.

If you are worried about things

Do something about all the extra mouths each year in China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, The Philippines, Indonesia, Nigeria and Uganda.

All basket case countries with huge and growing populations that will want cars, tvs, phones, heating and light.

Leave us alone – we grow food for the world.

  9. Must be putting out a ‘welcome mat’ of the socialization narrative.
All a part of “Ardern’s adhan”.

He said he would not accept Muslims or any non-Christians praying at council because they believed in different gods.

Mr Bielski told RNZ he only said those things because the press were not present and it was in the confidence of the meeting.

But he stood by his comments.
    https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/399397/manawatu-district-councillor-steve-bielski-stands-by-anti-muslim-sentiments

I heard on Magic Talk this morning the estimated cost for implementing climate change proposals for each and every NZ household will work out as $3,000 per annum. Suck that up suckers.

  10. Rugby World Cup 2019: Simon Bridges invites fans to join him at the bar
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/09/rugby-world-cup-2019-simon-bridges-invites-fans-to-join-him-at-the-bar.html

“Bridges also had a tempting offer for locals in his electorate who’ve now got a bit of extra cash to spend on beer.

I’m going to watch the next one – here’s a tip if you want to come along and abuse me, or abuse the ref or whoever it is – at the Tauranga Citz Club. So there you go.”

    0

    0

    • A rather weird article.
Therefore possibly made up (in part) by New shub.

1.Bridges needs to be very careful about slamming the country’s biggest telecom retailer. He might have to work with them one day. Theoretically.

      2. Bridges is effectively calling the Spark CEO a liar who cannot be trusted. This may be the case but doing this publicly is unwise.

      3. How is the bar free? I watched a tennis final at a pub earlier this year at 2 x $8 glasses of beer = $16. It is not free but going there to watch the footy and not paying anything is freeloading.
A bar is a business that pays taxes, rates, rent, and wages among other outgoings.
Has Labour Lite forgotten this in their pursuit of socialism?

      4. How have locals suddenly got more cash –to spend on beer? There was no tax cut under 9 years of Gnats and none in the last 2 years either. Petrol prices are up so less cash. Rates are up (for no incremental community benefit) esp. in Tauranga and Auckland – the latter Labour-controlled dreadful Council created by Labour Lite /ACT.

      5. In this era where we are supposed to be wary of and sensitive to bullying why would Bridges tell people to abuse him, or a referee who is an employee going about his job …?

I repeat: this is a weird article that is either Mediajerks made up or else Bridges being a dick; or a combo of both.
If even half of this was said by Bridges the clown is not fit to be PM. The current bobby-headed one is bad enough now; we don’t need such a fool.
…and yes, I shamelessly don’t like the fella for the above and a lot more.

This does not mean I would set out to abuse him as he sits down to watch a game of rugby nor condone it. If however he is abused then I suggest he uses the method employed by Sir Robert David Muldoon when he was leader of the opposition… give the abuser a bit of biffo. ..but don’t start or suggest it.

  15. ‘Desperate people will pay significant money’: Human smuggling groups target New Zealand
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2019/09/desperate-people-will-pay-significant-money-human-smuggling-groups-targeting-new-zealand.html

“There is an industry out there around people trafficking. Desperate people will pay significant money,” says Peter Devoy, assistant general manager of Compliance and Border Operations at Immigration New Zealand.

“Potentially, the arrangements will cost well beyond tens of thousands of dollars in New Zealand currency.”

The smuggling attempt out of Dubai was likely the work of criminal groups in either Indonesia or Malaysia.”

Why do they sound surprised that some people are more than willing to break the law to get what they want or make an awful lot of money?

  16. I copied this from a comment made yesterday on the blog with the most sluggish moderation in the Southern hemisphere. It originated from a Facebook comment to Alan Jones (he who calls our vacuous PM out for what she is):

To all the school kids going on “strike” for Climate Change.

You are the first generation who have required air-conditioning in every classroom.
You want TV in every room and your classes are all computerised.
You spend all day and night on electronic devices.
More than ever, you don’t walk or ride bikes to school but arrive in caravans of private cars that choke suburban roads and worsen rush hour traffic.
You are the biggest consumers of manufactured goods ever and update perfectly good expensive luxury items to stay trendy.

Your entertainment comes from electric devices.
Furthermore, the people driving your protests are the same people who insist on artificially inflating the population growth through immigration, which increases the need for energy, manufacturing and transport.

The more people we have, the more forest and bush land we clear and more of the environment is destroyed.
    How about this…

Tell your teachers to switch off the air-con.
Walk or ride to school.
Switch off your devices and read a book.
Make a sandwich instead of buying manufactured fast food.

No, none of this will happen because you are selfish, badly educated, virtue signalling little turds, inspired by the adults around you who crave a feeling of having a “noble cause” while they indulge themselves in Western luxury and unprecedented quality of life.”

Wake up, grow up and shut up until you are sure of the facts before protesting.

    0

    0

    • I don’t blame the school kids… but check out the adults standing for your local council… How many of them are going to be shovelling your rates into a bottomless “climate change emergency” hole?

    • I’ve been reading that horrendous account and trying to work out how the first autopsy could be done and they miss the poor man’s numerous injuries?

“This statement prompted an exhumation, and on July 5, 2017 a second autopsy. It found a cause of death that tallied with the first, an acute subarachnoid haemorrhage due to the probable rupture of a cerebral vein – a brain bleed.

The second autopsy also revealed Rangitutia was suffering from bedsores, pneumonia and cachexia – wasting due to malnutrition – and uncovered a host of other injuries.

Facial abrasions, lacerations to the mouth, scalp bruises, 21 rib fractures, and fractures on his pelvis and vertebrae.

The pathologist cited one cause for all the injuries – blunt force trauma.

“However they were caused, they would have been obvious to both defendants, and caused considerable pain and discomfort to the deceased.”

    Quotes from text:

“That plan changed when Terry realised the payments he was receiving for Rangitutia’s care, $265.64 a week, would be stopped.”

“Terry also informed them he had swapped Rangitutia’s medication for traditional Māori medicine as he “had the right to do his own thing”.

  18. I’ve been reading https://asianinvasion2019.blogspot.com/2019/09/te-trotter-language-week-trotter-on.html which I suggest is well worth taking a look at.

Largely it is an effort to flesh out the often obtuse thoughts of Chis Trotter of Bowally Road fame. The central theme is the likelihood that Grant Robertson is truly the power behind the scenes & Cindy is actually the airhead, front person & flake we’ve always suspected she is.

If the Fat Fairy is the puppetmaster that Cathy & Chris reckon he is then he has welded the factions of the Labour Party together in a way not seen since the bleak times of Helen Clark.

What do the readers of YSB consider to be the factions & who are the gods of politics referred to?

    0

    0

    • They are too fragmented and likely to be not welded but placed together with silly putty.
The common front they try to exude is not present when the leaders are out of the picture.
They are by nature and policy, cave dwellers.
      Winston haunts anyone.
Robertson is buttressed with finance. All the leverage.
Woods was trained by Anderton. Smarts. With a penchant for pasties.
I don’t see cohesion, just a rabble of wannabes.

She has been rude about Trumps hair and his skin colour, she unnecessarily involved herself in an event protesting his inauguration.
She has referred to Trump as a professional arsehole. She mocked his speech to the UN while a guest in his country, and has chosen to insult both the man and his office over climate hysteria, gun control, immigration policy, internet censorship and wimmins affairs.

Now she wants special exemption for NZ for our steel and aluminium exports and what does she have to bargain with?
An earnest face and flicking the spaniel hair won’t count for much and Ardern doesn’t have anything else in her toolbox.
