  1. We live in hope that Chippy Te Maori and the greens are gone but not forgotten however….. Luxon and David we will hardly notice a change. BET YA all. 100 days in and life will be no different. Only far worse once they see the state of the financial books.
Try and have a good day it’s only 13 days to go till the next load of nasties get into parliament under those two new leaders, and maybe Winnie or a couple of others????? Matt?????, life will go on, but sad to say it will be much much worse. Be very careful out there…..

  2. Does anyone know if Chippie and his band of faggs has signed our country up to the tyrannical WHO pandemic response club, I’ve had a look online and can’t find an up to date list of countries that have capitulated like the cowardly scum they are.
It’s a whole world government takeover that goes way beyond just health outcomes, it deals with trade, diversity, control of drugs, border control Etc Etc ,it doesn’t even actually need a medical emergency to be implemented,no wonder we need a super computer complex at Whenuapai airforce base to keep us all under control or if you’re a labour voter to keep you safe and warm at night. FFFUUUCK.

    • Freezing cold here this morning. The AC is cranking. Beautiful sunny day brewing.
White Rabbits HP and a pinch and a punch for the rest of you ysb’ers. 🙂

Lizzie is right, the cupboard is bare as Roldygob has eaten the lot. The bears are going to go without until they learn employment and independence from the state is their only personal salvation.

  4. This woman’s husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several months, yet she had stayed by his bedside every single day. One day, when he came to, he motioned for her to come nearer. As she sat by him, he whispered, eyes full of tears, “You know what? You have been with me through all the bad times. When I got fired, you were there to support me. When my business failed, you were there. When I got shot, you were by my side. When we lost the house, you stayed right here. When my health started failing, you were still by my side… You know what?” “What dear,” she gently asked, smiling as her heart began to fill with warmth. “I think you’re bad luck…..”

  5. Given many folks will be stressing from now to election time, their bodies will need all the support they can get. In the kitchen of most homes is a super food the goes unnoticed. It is full of amino acids that most people get inadequate quantities of. It supplies protein that middle aged to elderly people need more of to lessen Sarcopenia ( muscle wastage). In fact one of the major deciding factors determining whether an elderly person survives or exits ED faster, is the percentage of muscle mass they carry. Not how fit they are, or how good their care is.

In times past most people got a decent supply of this product because home cooking used most animal products from snout to tail.

And the underrated super food is …..

  6. Lets starting call ‘Fact Checkers’ by their real name: ‘Fat Chequers’. People who get paid handsomely to spout disinformation and attack anyone online who gets close to the truth.

In addition to increased welfare, helicopter payments to special interest groups – gangs, Maori ‘trusts’, etc, ‘Fat Chequers’ are another reason why Hipkins believes unemployment has gone down. The number of government jobs under Labour went ballistic as more and more people were employed to monitor, manage, and modify the social media narrative.

        • You certainly have it in for us ACT supporters, Mr Editor. Have you thought that Dave and Chris supporting the global elite may be a good thing? It would show people with an IQ BELOW 115, that Dave and Chris are duplicitous bastards that need the boot in favour of the very minor parties that crazies vote for. And then…everything will be kapai.

          4

          3

          • “minor parties that crazies vote for”.
Not so long ago ACT was a very minor party.
The more time progresses, all these conspiracy ideas are proven to be true.
Almost every ACT supporter on here has said they would have voted for Democracy NZ, BUT NOT THIS TIME!!!!!

            1

            • At 12% after all this time and going backwards from the 18$ that they were at they remain a minor Party.

Despite all the money they are still minor. Act will still just be tail waggers.
They will need a better partner to nail down the Nats. That’s not NZ first or the Greens which will be the Nats two choices otherwise.

            • I remember distributing act pamphlets in Christchurch when they first started, as I thought they were the ones, NO more freedom party for them, Davos Dave and his motley crew of people who went in to parliament with him last time, apart from the gun lady did nothing. They could not even go out and say to the protesters Well I am safe, and I respect your right to protest and I am safe from you all as I have been jabbed. The rest of you may well get the covid, but I am OK jack, as I have had the jab. He would have won so many votes by that simple strategy. But he chose not to and disparaged all no jabbers. He is a little prick and no mistake. I doubt that he will stand for anyone at all in the future as he is right in there with Davos United Nations loves the war in Ukraine and all the crap they send out our way. All you act voters we know what is in store for you and the national voters as well. Life is going to get far worse for us all. Once they open the books and look at the real picture.

              16

              2

              • Davos Dave has now done nine years straight in parliament .
At that point – 9 years; three terms -one is very disconnected from reality.
You have left the real world.

At that point the slogan is -in it for me.

Open invitation to Lizziep and all other rightwing haters on this blog to put your name to this statement.

”LUXON WILL NOT SCRAP THREE WATERS.”

Many have already stated this. I just want you all in one place for the cull post election.

There is no longer a left or right but right or wrong according to the Principles of our Bora and our rights to Freedom to Choose.

If all else fails go back to what creates the greatest freedom for the individual and the Community. What is not imposed compared to what will be imposed.

The paucity of takers shows how bereft shrill commentators are when it comes to putting their name to something they supposedly believe. It’s not like they can’t create a new identity to save their pride. Looks like the cull has already happened.😅
Time for me to look for new prey for a while. I’ll come back when the fever is high; a few days before the election. The angst should be divine.

If they survive and fix internal issues they may be viable in 2026 as a party.

    • Its time for them to withdraw from the war and for Ukraine to be left to its own devices by Nato.
Do that and Putin will leave them alone.
remove all the sanctions on Russia and let the world get on with life and the USA withdraw from creating wars that are not its business.

  8. Notional announce – yes announce – their first 100 days.

Wow they will even work up to Xmas.
    like real people
the last X number of years have been appalling.
Elections in October, they stop in Sept and don’t come back until February.
    This is part time shit.
And in 2020 they were sent home much of the year; and in 2021 the ‘lockdowns’ happened in February – 2 of them – after the MPs came back from their looog holiday – never while on holidays.

    This will be interesting.
    Much of announcing is to
    …Introduce legislation to ..
    …Begin work on..
No promise to deliver and complete

Until they actually do something I wont believe it .
similar to the 1990 time when Bolger got in. Lot of noise. Mini budget. Crackdowns. All talk before Xmas.
    Then nothing.
It fizzled and we ended up with bad legislation – RMA -selling of public assets real cheap -to the point three years later, they lost 13 seats and 13% and were only 0.4% ahead of liebour who were expelled in 1990 like a bad vindaloo .
    Is this a repeat ?

    ya de ya :-
Remove the Auckland Regional Fuel Tax which adds 11.5 cents per litre of petrol.
Remove the Reserve Bank’s dual mandate to get the Bank focused on putting the lid back on inflation.
Restore 90-day employment trial periods for all businesses.
Extend free breast cancer screening for women aged up to 74.
    Repeal Labour’s water reform legislation.
    Repeal Labour’s resource management laws
Ban gang patches, stop gang members gathering in public,
and stop known gang offenders from communicating with one another.
    ——————-
the gang patches and gang stuff we know will never happen.
    yaketty yak on lorna order

the 90 days employment trial looks to be a yo-yo thing now.

    Repeal means what exactly.
I want to see the word > Expunge.

      • What is this horseshit from the bald bitch, luxflakes, about canning 2 January as a holiday but keeping a floating day off at the coldest time of the year- Matarangi ?

        What a dick .

NZ is not inundated with holidays. We are on par with US and they think they get too few.
The State of Victoria just had a holiday Friday because of the AFL Grand Final. Then they get another one in November for the Melbourne cup.
A horse race that lasts less than 3.5 minutes.

This shows luxon has a tight autocratic, dry schoolmaster approach to things.
Good widdle WEF puppet he/she is.

  9. If you really want to stick it to Maori vote Labour not ACT.

    1. Labour called Maori a “river of filth”.
    2. Labour shot them with rubber bullets and sent in armed pigs to bash them.
    3. Described Maori as Nazis, misogynist, racists.
    4. Locked up Maori without bail on minor non violent disorder offences.
    5. Ran a campaign of misinformation to incite hatred and violence against Maori.
    6. And the list goes on…

Look at all the shots of the pigs smashing over people on parliament grounds. The vast majority of the pictures show mainly Maori people getting the bash. If you want to know what the Party thinks of Maoris then look how they treat those who speak out, like Brian Tamaki and Billy Te Ha.

A campaign disaster for Labour leader Chris Hipkins. He has tested positive for Covid-19.

Here’s a statement from his office:

“Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has tested positive for COVID-19.

Which MP of the 120 is not a liar?

Are you from the WEF ?
Both the above are globalist puppets and pro war with Russia -who have never done NZ any harm and even traded with us when Britain wanted to go off and play house with Europe.

      • Considering a lot of the world uses fuel oil to make electricity , I have never understood how electric powered cars could be cheaper to run than using a naturally combustible fuel directly in a vehicle .

        4

        0

      • The average price of electricity in the UK converted to New Zealand $ is NZ$0.55 per kwhour. An EV can travel approximately 5.6 Km on one kwhour of electricity or NZ$0.085 per Km. The average petrol car can travel approximately 17.5 Km on a litre of petrol. At a cost of 1.47 UK pounds sterling (NZ$2.99) per litter for petrol that works out to about NZ$0.17 per Km.

Even in the UK with its high electricity prices it’s cheaper to drive an EV than to drive a petrol car. Don’t know if EV’s are charged Road user fees in the UK and that might change the situation.

        4

        0

        • Electric cars now more costly than petrol for long journeys

The cost of charging an electric car on the road has soared by nearly 60pc in eight months, making the vehicles more costly to run on long journeys than petrol motors.

Rapid charge points used by motorists topping up on long drives are now nearly £10 more expensive than filling up a car with petrol, analysis by motoring body the RAC revealed.

          https://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/consumer-affairs/electric-cars-now-costly-petrol-long-journeys/

          4

          0

          • That’s interesting. The wife and I both have an electric car but we charge at home and 99% of our driving is local, not long distance. We charge for free with Electric Kiwi which gives you a free hour of off-peak power a day. That takes care of almost all our daily driving needs.

Also need to figure in the lower maintenance costs. In the ten years of owning our first EV we had to buy two new tires and pay for windshield wiper fluid! WOF and REGO costs are the main expenses. Some time next year we will also have to start paying road user charges. Fair enough, but we bought partially based on the government at the time promising that there would be no road user charges until 10% of the cars in NZ were EV’s. The current government has backtracked on that promise.

            3

            0

      • Insurance companies usually adjust insurance rates based on historical costs ( pay-out rates).

If Tesla EV’s end up costing them more then the insurance companies are justified in increasing the rates for insuring Teslas. Some EV’s seem to be less susceptible to battery fires and would presumably have lower insurance rates.

The Nissan LEAF EV seems to have very few battery fires and would therefore cost less to insure.

Having said all the above, petrol cars burn up a whole lot more often than EV’s based on the number of fires per 100,000 cars.

        3

        0

      • The point is that he didn’t until that time and he went there to have a look around.
Nothing wrong with what he said after the event but if you follow the timeline he was there after Matt was there and when Matt was there for 4 days he stood up with the mike in front of the crowd and Parliament and Mallard and Luxflakes and the police and made it clear that the actions of the Parliament were abhorrent to our way of life and that has caused him to quit the National Party.
Can’t be any clearer than that.

  15. A NEW VARIANT IS HERE

Warning: Gonorrhea Lectim Pandemic arrives in NZ

    Nationwide ALERT!!!

The Center for Disease Control has issued a warning about a new virulent strain of this old disease!

The disease is called Gonorrhea Lectem.

It’s pronounced “Gonna re-elect ’em” and is capable of crippling our civilisation.

The disease is contracted through dangerous and high-risk behaviour involving putting your cranium up your rectum.

Many victims contracted it in 2020 when they re-elected Jacinda Ardern’s government into power and are now starting to realise how destructive this sickness is.

It’s sad because Gonorrhea Lectem is easily cured with a new drug just coming on the market called Votemout (pronounced “Vote-em-out.”)

It can be picked up without a doctor’s prescription.

You take the first dose now.

The second dose should be taken just before the 2023 elections, otherwise it will eventually wipe out all the remnants of democratic life that we have left in the NZ.

Please pass this important message on to all those bright folks who truly care about New Zealand, and to the many misguided fools who either think that we still live in a democracy, or that democracy is unnecessary and socialism is the answer to all their personal failings.

Farmers told 1News they wanted Labour gone after the election and complained they were being treated as the enemy by the Government.

“I hope Labour gets such a hiding [at the election] we never hear from them again,” one farmer said.

  19. Just got sent this and on reading couldn’t help think of one or two of our YSB family members .

ABOUT THE WRITER: Dave Barry is a Pulitzer Prize-winning humor columnist for the Miami Herald.
    Colonoscopy Journal:
I called my friend Andy Sable, a gastroenterologist, to make an appointment for a colonoscopy.
A few days later, in his office, Andy showed me a color diagram of the colon, a lengthy organ that appears to go all over the place, at one point passing briefly through Minneapolis.
Then Andy explained the colonoscopy procedure to me in a thorough, reassuring and patient manner.
I nodded thoughtfully, but I didn’t really hear anything he said, because my brain was shrieking, ‘HE’S GOING TO STICK A TUBE 17,000 FEET UP YOUR BEHIND!’
I left Andy’s office with some written instructions, and a prescription for a product called ‘MoviPrep,’ which comes in a box large enough to hold a microwave oven. I will discuss MoviPrep in detail later; for now suffice it to say that we must never allow it to fall into the hands of America ‘s enemies.
I spent the next several days productively sitting around being nervous.
Then, on the day before my colonoscopy, I began my preparation. In accordance with my instructions, I didn’t eat any solid food that day; all I had was chicken broth, which is basically water, only with less flavor.
Then, in the evening, I took the MoviPrep. You mix two packets of powder together in a one-litre plastic jug, then you fill it with lukewarm water. (For those unfamiliar with the metric system, a litre is about 32 gallons). Then you have to drink the whole jug. This takes about an hour, because MoviPrep tastes – and here I am being kind – like a mixture of goat spit and urinal cleanser, with just a hint of lemon.
The instructions for MoviPrep, clearly written by somebody with a great sense of humor, state that after you drink it, ‘a loose, watery bowel movement may result.’
This is kind of like saying that after you jump off your roof, you may experience contact with the ground.
MoviPrep is a nuclear laxative. I don’t want to be too graphic, here, but, have you ever seen a space-shuttle launch? This is pretty much the MoviPrep experience, with you as the shuttle. There are times when you wish the commode had a seat belt. You spend several hours pretty much confined to the bathroom, spurting violently. You eliminate everything. And then, when you figure you must be totally empty, you have to drink another litre of MoviPrep, at which point, as far as I can tell, your bowels travel into the future and start eliminating food that you have not even eaten yet.
After an action-packed evening, I finally got to sleep.
The next morning my wife drove me to the clinic. I was very nervous. Not only was I worried about the procedure, but I had been experiencing occasional return bouts of MoviPrep spurtage. I was thinking, ‘What if I spurt on Andy?’ How do you apologize to a friend for something like that? Flowers would not be enough.
At the clinic I had to sign many forms acknowledging that I understood and totally agreed with whatever the heck the forms said. Then they led me to a room full of other colonoscopy people, where I went inside a little curtained space and took off my clothes and put on one of those hospital garments designed by sadist perverts, the kind that, when you put it on, makes you feel even more naked than when you are actually naked.
Then a nurse named Eddie put a little needle in a vein in my left hand. Ordinarily I would have fainted, but Eddie was very good, and I was already lying down Eddie also told me that some people put vodka in their MoviPrep.
At first I was ticked off that I hadn’t thought of this, but then I pondered what would happen if you got yourself too tipsy to make it to the bathroom, so you were staggering around in full Fire Hose Mode. You would have no choice but to burn your house.
When everything was ready, Eddie wheeled me into the procedure room, where Andy was waiting with a nurse and an anesthesiologist. I did not see the 17,000-foot tube, but I knew Andy had it hidden around there somewhere. I was seriously nervous at this point.
Andy had me roll over on my left side, and the anesthesiologist began hooking something up to the needle in my hand.
There was music playing in the room, and I realized that the song was ‘Dancing Queen’ by ABBA. I remarked to Andy that, of all the songs that could be playing during this particular procedure, ‘Dancing Queen’ had to be the least appropriate.
‘You want me to turn it up?’ said Andy, from somewhere behind me…
‘Ha ha,’ I said. And then it was time, the moment I had been dreading for more than a decade. If you are squeamish, prepare yourself, because I am going to tell you, in explicit detail, exactly what it was like.
I have no idea. Really. I slept through it. One moment, ABBA was yelling ‘Dancing Queen, feel the beat of the tambourine,’ and the next moment, I was back in the other room, waking up in a very mellow mood
Andy was looking down at me and asking me how I felt. I felt excellent. I felt even more excellent when Andy told me that It was all over, and that my colon had passed with flying colors. I have never been prouder of an internal organ.

    On the subject of Colonoscopies…
Colonoscopies are no joke, but these comments during the exam were quite humorous. A physician claimed that the following are actual comments made by his patients (predominately male) while he was performing their colonoscopies:
    1. Take it easy Doc. You’re boldly going where no man has gone before.
    2. ‘Find AmeliaEarhart yet?’
    3. ‘Can you hear me NOW?’
    4. ‘Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?’
5 ‘You know, in Arkansas, we’re now legally married.’
    6. ‘Any sign of the trapped miners, Chief?’
    7. ‘You put your left hand in, you take your left hand out…’
    8. ‘Hey! Now I know how a Muppet feels!
    9. ‘If your hand doesn’t fit, you must quit!’
    10. ‘Hey Doc, let me know if you find my dignity.’
    11. ‘You used to be an executive at Enron, didn’t you?’
    12. ‘God, now I know why I am not gay’
And the best one of all:
    13. ‘Could you write a note for my wife saying that my head is not up there?’
