  1. It does seem to pick up on how Palestine rocket shrapnel is different to Israeli shrapnel too.

    Israel ישראל 🇮🇱 : @Israel
Hamas terrorists in their own voices:
Listen to the conversation between Hamas operatives as they discuss the failed Islamic Jihad rocket launch on the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital on October 17, 2023.

Turns out, it was the parking lot that got hit.

  3. Interesting article about Teslas now being banned in certain areas in China. The video in the article is really interesting, not so much the bits about China but how modern cars are collecting so much information (which can be used by law enforcement, for example) and how they can be used to collect it other than that normally collected by the car.

    • Marama Davidson on her Gaza flotilla crusade.
She does not really care, about any one, women, children or men, except for setting up her communist ideology.
She will be working on the Greens to do the same, to be in solidarity with Te Pati Maori,

Before leaving for Gaza, Davidson said she wanted to draw attention to the role of women in keeping their communities afloat, “particularly in post-conflict situations”.

“Women around the world bear a disproportionate burden in caring for people and keeping communities together in times of hardship, and the women of Palestine are no different.”
      https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/85020524/green-mp-marama-davidson-detained-by-israeli-authorities-on-boat-in-international-waters–reports

While backing that only cis white men are violent.. yeah right ….

      • I think Ms Davidson and all her like minded cronies should be publicly funded a waka that they can paddle to Palestine to show their solidarity with the cause they are bleating about. If it takes them a while to get there, all the better for us,

      • S1, I know I am just a dumb country boy from the darkest King Country, but is that the same Marama Davidson that was arrested by the Israeli Defence Force and deported by Israel, the last time she was there, so concerned for Gaza.

        • The Ancient Hooligan:—
That is the one, that tried it on to Gaza.
          .
…. 2016 … Ms Davidson described the Israeli Navy’s female crew taking her and the other activists to safety as a “kidnap,” and herself as a “hostage.”
Both terms are wildly inaccurate, and seem designed more to achieve provocation than reconciliation.
          .
Women do suffer in Gaza, at the hands of the governing power Hamas, an Islamist organisation.
          .
But Hamas’ honour killings, persecution of gays, genocidal charter, and state-sanctioned misogyny do not rate a mention by these activists on the “women’s peace boat”.

          .
Where on that trip the men on the boat chanted
          .
…. the flotilla, showing interviews with an international collection of Muslim radicals on one of the boats.
          .
The report, posted on YouTube, includes a scene of a group of Muslim men sitting around on board and cheerfully punching their fists in the air as they recite the popular Arabic chant (starts at O:57):
          .
Khaybar, Khaybar ya Yahud, jaish Muhammad sa ya ‘ud
‘Remember Khaybar, O Jews, Muhammad’s army will return!’

Many seem unaware, hidden by media, that it would seem that the problems of Gaza has stepped up from painful pin pricking terrorism, to going into guerilla warfare.
All still hiding behind willing woman & schooled children.

      • Interesting that she is so keen on women and children,///////////////// What about all the Israeli women and children that were burned to death and raped by many militant Hamas supporters. Obviously she doesn’t care about any of them. Hypocrite of the worst order.

        • Sorry forgot to put the date on Marama Davidsons flotilla adventures.
Though I did post it in the 2nd one
That old leopard does not seem to change the spots through the years.

The other day I posted when Marama was with Chloe Swarbuck, & Menendez March supporting Free Palestine in Auckland, (circa 2018?) where banners of from the “River to the Sea”.

Can you consider what it really means, from the Jordan “River to the Sea” Mediterranean that sounds so benign, but what it really means.

  4. A Sunday school teacher went on vacation to an exotic island. When she returned she was telling her friends about all the exciting things she had seen and heard.
She told the gathered women, “Did you know there are men who kiss other men?”.
“Oh my!”, exclaimed her friends, “What do they call them?”.
She answered, “Well they call them gays!”.
She then added, “Did you know there are women that kiss other women?”.
“Oh my!”, gushed the ladies, “What do they call them?”.
“Why they are called lesbians!”, she said.
“And did you know that that there are men that will kiss you in your private parts?”, she told the astonished crowd.
“My, oh my!”, they said, “And what do they call them?”.
She smiled with a sultry grin and said, “I don’t know what they called them, but I called him Darling!”.

“OH SH*T! Pfizer is heading for bankruptcy?! | Redacted with Clayton Morris”

Pfizer says that it must conduct layoffs and budget cuts because profits are so low due to what CEO Albert Bourla calls “Covid fatigue.” The CDC estimates that only 2% of Americans have received the most recent Covid booster shot. While $70 billion does not seem all that bad for a profit report, consider that Pfizer made over $100 billion last year from Covid products. Could this spell bankruptcy for Pfizer on the heals of recent revelations of accused wrongdoing?

Billionaire Victoria’s Secret founder Leslie Wexner has officially cut all ties and financial support to Harvard in a blistering letter after Harvard’s “dismal failure” condemning the Hamas terror attacks.

    Hamas Harvard: FAFO.

“We are stunned and sickened by the dismal failure of Harvard’s leadership to take a clear and unequivocal stance against the barbaric murders of innocent Israeli civilians,” their nonprofit said.

“Harvard’s leadership were indeed tiptoeing, equivocating, and we, like former Harvard President Larry Summers cannot ‘fathom the administration’s failure to disassociate the university and condemn the statement’ swiftly.”

“That should not have been that hard.”

“In the absence of this clear moral stand, we have determined that the Harvard Kennedy School and the Wexner Foundation are no longer compatible partners.”

    @CiceroMD
The NZ government has failed miserably these past 6 years. A friend wrote to me:

“The social contract is broken. Is a phrase that has echoed in my brain since 2020.

Our government has failed us. It has transformed NZ into a society I hardly recognise.

    It has lied to us.

    It hasn’t kept us safe.

For months It imposed house arrest and implored us to not talk to our neighbours or care for the vulnerable.

It poisoned many of us. Men women and children.

It indulged in massive money printing on a scale this country has never seen before.

Which has debased our currency and hollowed out the middle class.

It promoted social divisions , vaccine and race.

In a final irony Labour couldn’t even manage an orderly election where the results would be tabulated in a timely fashion.

It’s the last stab in the back from the agents of evil and chaos.”

  8. Tensions at the Wellington City Council have reached the point that the deputy mayor is being ghosted by colleagues and the mayor has put a hold on meetings after “negative discussions”.

Mayor Tory Whanau on Monday emailed councillors telling them their regular Tuesday morning councillor-only meetings were going to be paused.

Councillor Ray Chung said the council was in a state of “absolute dysfunction” and some of the named councillors were refusing to talk to Foon.

    • Internal combustion engine cars “combust” at a rate 60x higher than EV’s.

“AutoInsuranceEZ studied the frequency of fires—from all causes, including collisions—in automobiles in 2021. It found that hybrid vehicles, which have an internal combustion engine and an electric motor, had the most fires per 100,000 vehicles (3475), while vehicles with just an internal combustion engine placed second (1530 per 100,000). Fully electric vehicles had the fewest: 25 per 100,000. These findings were based on data from the National Transportation Safety Board and the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.”.

Having a car fire in your garage wouldn’t be fun so I’d rather have an EV parked in the garage than a petrol or diesel powered car.

  9. Dave Seymour was on ”The Country” with Jamie MacKay. Dave said ACT will only be on a bus going forward. He doesn’t want the status quo. When asked if he would work with Winnie he dodged the issue by saying he probably would but don’t blame him if things go South. You had to read between the lines with this interview. So Dave has set himself up well should a possible three way coalition fail. What would happen to Nationals support after such a scenario is anyone’s guess.

      Well, I will Saggy.

      • TAH@1537

I agree about the Driver, and thanks for your understanding. In a previous life I was well acquainted with such matters, to the extent that, although not a Loco Driver, but in charge of a railway station, something similar occurred a matter of metres in front of me (No further details). You never forget, and although personally the ‘flashbacks’ (And the shear helplessness as you realise the inevitability of what is about to occur) now only occur occasionally, compared to various Drivers I’ve known who have had several such ‘events’ happen to them I got off very lightly.

The ‘Grieving mother’ will of course give no thought to the Loco Driver who is also a ‘victim’ (As are his family) and, indeed, will actually continue to blame him for what occurred.

In such situations, and although invariably ‘self-inflicted’, it is NEVER, EVER, the deceased’s fault….

        Thank you.

    • “Never ever the deceased’s fault”

That way at the very least the funeral costs will be fully covered, by the premiums charged to the employers for the employed through ACC Premiums.

Now what other perks arise through WINZ? etc..
      Bereavement leave?

  11. In NZ a woman can be let off for murdering kids by simply claiming she was crazy at the time or felt sad. She lacked mental capacity.

But if that exact same woman accused a man she fucked of “rape” her being a crazy bitch would not be allowed in the defence. Even if she was doing drugs as well.

Also the Court will say she could not consent to sex because she was off her face on drugs, but yet will take as fact her highly detailed account of what happened.

But if the man was similarly off his face and unable to give consent then it’s not rape.

The Taliban has a better system that is far fairer and more coherent.

  12. Local politics in Wellington are heating up. Not only is the Council looking more and more dysfunctional with the new Green Mayor but now we have a long serving Councilor (another Greenie btw.) telling people not to buy apartments in the CBD area.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2023/10/councillor-iona-pannett-stands-by-warning-for-people-not-to-buy-apartments-in-wellington-after-grilling-on-am.html

I happen to partially agree with her in what she is saying. But I think the earthquake rules have got out of hand. What happened in Wellington was after the last large earthquake one of the newest commercial buildings ( 5-6 story building on old port land) had a floor give way. They eventually demolished it. So I think what happened (just my view) the engineers panicked because it meant their work/regulations were exposed and so they said the building code had to be upgraded/tightened so could they covered their rear end. But by doing that, they “captured” plenty of other buildings, that were not damaged, but the new code said they had to be upgraded. The prime example was the central library which has been closed and now gutted inside for just about an internal rebuild —now on going for 5-6 years.
Plenty of apartment buildings were also caught and this is what Pannett is talking about. But what makes me laugh about her comments is that she is expecting the new Government to sort it out —-what about her lefty Government doing nothing for the last 6 years.
The other irony is all her Greenie mates want people to live in the inner city, for all their climate change and other reasons but the city she has been a Councilor for over the last 3-4 terms, cannot make it happen. Stuffed up water and sewage infrastructure, unaffordable apartments, massively increasing rates etc.etc.

    • Like Zero risk, so no building.
      It seems so absolute.

Now what should be done to achieve Zero Carbon, that is on my fellow man.
Am I suppose to suffocate him to death to achieve Zero Carbon emissions, on his out-put in his breathing.
Sure his body may emit some Carbon or is it methane, but in very short time, he will be absolutely Zero.
Just rinse my hands & keep on repeating, if one is going to make a serious reduction to achieve Zero Carbon emissions.
Like eating an elephant, just one bite at a time.

That way apartments will not be needed in Wellington, if we can start there.

Or has that been the intention all along in the past 3-4 years.

      8

    • Some can see how business’s are pushed to “Zero Harm” concepts.

Sort of revolving around to some form of achievement.,
Induction Reporting, etc.. Hazard Reports, with Mitigation Reports.
Incident Reporting, Safe Reports, Environmental Reports, all to be fully written up at the end of the month.
      All to cover their arses.

However the system has much bite & demands the lb’s of flesh.
As the dogs of war can at any time can be unleashed for a demeanor as it could be portrayed as white cis patriarchy benefitting in gaining profit over workers, consumers, clients, customers & viciously oppressing them in the process.

So all risks, even if small, must be mitigated against, no matter what the cost.
So it is easy for Corporates to spend the Share holders dividends, or the Council to spend rates, or the government to collect more taxes.

Does it matter that it breaks & stresses out any small business operator,
      The system does not care.
So the wealth is then stripped from the smaller & transferred to the larger.
As we also note & can see global corporations are put up as the answer to achieve progress. …. hmmm …

On the 10th Oct 2023 New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade called for separate participation for Māori at the United Nations.

“We remain dedicated to enhancing the participation of indigenous voices at the United Nations. We support Indigenous Peoples’ call to establish a unique category for their participation in the UN system.

We do not support those who say Indigenous Peoples should only be included in national delegations. This undermines opportunities to share unique perspectives and shape discussions across the work of the UN.

Indigenous Peoples must be able to influence global decision-making through meaningful and inclusive participation in UN processes.”

    • should be banned imo.
no ex poli or high up public servant should be able to do lobbying for a minimum of say 5yrs after leaving parliament, make it applicable also to all types of consultancy work aswell. zero taxpayer funded jobs.

i also think there should be a stand down period for mayors becoming mps and vice versa… they get addicted to feeding from the trough.

term limits in local and central govt is a must aswell imo and needs to be seriously looked at, no one should be a career politician or councillor etc… once again addicted to feeding from the trough

You have to wonder is being a trougher at parliament as an ‘assistant’ like fruity farrar, they /them Willis and much of the liebour pardy should also count.
Rogering Douglas had in his book 1980 that there should be 18 years max.
He then stood again as list in 2008 for ACT to pass the 18 years mark
