    • SB, from your post.

“but reporter Joel Maxwell discovers there could be extraordinary pushback from everyday Māori.”

“Māori are warning of sweeping protests, division and the potential for violence if ACT’s proposed Treaty referendum gets across the line in coalition negotiations for the new government.”

Really? It just so happens that this aged commenter deals with “everyday Maori” everyday, well 5 days of the week, through the course of his employment. Some of these everyday Maori are Mongrel Mob members, some are top Mongrel Mob members, some just ordinary run of the mill Maori, just trying to scrape a living together, some working, some not, all of them polite, most of them quite talkative when you question them, and most have a thought out opinion on current life. All have friends, wives, children too Europeans and mix with them often.

Of all the Maori, I deal with on a daily basis, I doubt many, if let alone one of them, would take up arms or be violent against the ones they love, because of whether a Referendum on the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi is held and any such outcome. Some of them may not agree with it, but to engage in violence, well I would hesitate to say, I reckon I deal with more Maori on a daily basis than the fake Maori himself, Joel Maxwell and call bullshit on his claims and assumption.

Mr Maxwell, it seems, is just another mischief maker with a platform to be mischievous on.

    • That is an offense and is terrorism. The response should be both armed and immediate.

Treat them like a freedom gathering asking the govt to drop mandates like every other civilised country was at the time.

    • Let’s break this down. I have already covered this for the blog . But it’s good to have ones reasoning backed by others. It means you haven’t gone down a dead end hollar.

”However, ACT leader David Seymour says he doesn’t accept there will be disruption – and he has his finger on the pulse of the Māori world.”

Yeah, but do you live in the Maori world, Dave?

”It was like getting married “and your neighbours saying ‘we don’t like your marriage vows, so we’re just going to redesign them for you’”

And there is the divisions. Which version of the treaty? How many people understand the treaty? What about Lord Cooke’s interpretation. etc..

I will reiterated two things. The most important – Maori are not NZers. Many ( not all) don’t want to be NZers. Point two, should protests start, moderate Maori will come under the hammer to support the protests and denounce Whitey. Young Maori will universally be against a referendum and will be more than willing to use violence. And let’s not forget the other protest movements who will jump on the bandwagon- anti vaxxers and climate change crazies for example. These types support anything that is anti government.

      ———————————-
…As Joel Maxwell reports in this Stuff article, Māori make up about 16 per cent of the population but account for half of male prisoners. Māori make up 63 per cent of the female prison population. Māori are more likely to be imprisoned for the same crimes, and get longer sentences for the same crimes, than Pākehā….

Ah yeah Joel. maybe there is a reason for this
And you just said they are a mere 16% of the population – a number used steadily for the last 30 years.
      What is the real number?
      And with such dilution the True Maori equivalent will be less than 4% (FTE) ;
of that 16%, more than half the blood line will of it will be English/Irish/Scots
Even Welsh or Croatian as Shane Jones can attest.

OPINION: I’ve written previously of the miserable-mayor phenomenon across Aotearoa in the current council term, a group of seething Pākehā dudes of a certain age who emerged from the culture-war-and-Covid gloop of the early 2020s…….

ya sound a bit racist, Joel !!

    • They are just trying to strong arm Luxon. They know he has a spine ‘made of jelly’ and they want him to reinforce what he has said all along, that a referendum would be too decisive.
I’m not sure that a referendum is the answer because Seymour/ACT are still referring to the “principles” of the Treaty which are not in the Treaty. They have been manufactured since 1975.
But a referendum would be better than doing nothing.

  1. Stay in bed people it is like winter out here with rain and bit of wind. So stay put where you are tucked up nice and snug.
This Maori stuff is beyond the pale, it is time for them to perhaps become a separate nation within New Zealand, they can fund their own stuff from now on, build hospitals etc, for Maori, pay their own dole and looking for work stop single mother benefits. Let them fund themselves completely and we will see how long they last as a ‘my’ people? Anyone on the Maori roll can be part of this crap. I for one are very fucking sick of it.
Have a good day out there and be careful.

    • i suggested that long time ago lizzie, when magic talk was on i just about gave danny watson a heart attack when i suggested the maori economy be taxed by maori for maori and fund all their own shit bad outcomes they claim whitey and colonisation is responsible for.

i then pointed out that if that were to happen the % of people who claim to be maori would drop to below 5% almost overnight.

nope, they only want other peoples money and then they dont want to spend it helping their people.

No wonder so many move here.
      Which is actually a pain.
Shit drivers, more and more, I want it now and you can pay types.
      When will our commissioners resign?

Spending like one armed paper hangers with stuff we really don’t want.
Trying to revive our CBD which has been stuffed for the last 20 years.

Good thing 3 waters will be gone as that has not been our problem. ur 3 are in good shape due to long term council planning. They are the bits that do work well.
They wanted to sell that so they could borrow more. fuck em.
That will be a constraint on them and they just might haver to stop funding stuff people should do for themselves. stop doing free stuff like teaching you how to worm farm and busllshit like that.

Need to rid ourselves of quangos like Priority one et al.
Place needs a hard task master and a new CEO that knows about that stuff and how to rid the place of that thinking.

  2. The militant Natives should take note of the arithmetic involved , you know like the figures 7 to 1 in numbers on the side of the destructive Whitey who came and ruined the idealic paradise that was this country before the takeover.
To be fair you couldn’t blame them for being pissed off at the possibility of losing all the baubles of the race based policies inflicted on the “others” by Cnutface Ardern and her cabal of faggs and wierdos ( now unemployed and unemployable).

  4. ‘Know Your Limits:’ Fire and Rescue NSW Advice for Lithium-Ion Batteries
Well-known reputable Li-ion batteries should be used with the charger supplied, according to Fire and Rescue NSW.

Consumers have been urged to avoid misusing lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries after recent explosions, according to fire provision authorities on Oct. 18.
Fire and Rescue New South Wales (FRNSW) Acting Commissioner Jeremy Fewtrell said Li-ion batteries, found in most mobile phones, laptops, tablets, e-scooters, e-bikes, and power tools, should be used with the charger supplied. However, some consumers are mixing and matching charges.
“And the other thing happening is people are using cheap imports or substitute products,” Mr. Fewtrell told 2GB radio.

  6. A lawyer was cross-examining the doctor about whether or not he had checked the pulse of the deceased before he signed the death certificate.
“No,” the doctor said. “I did not check his pulse.”
“And did you listen for a heartbeat?” asked the lawyer.
“No I did not,” the doctor said.
“So,” said the lawyer, “when you signed the death certificate, you had not taken steps to make sure he was dead.”
The doctor said, “Well, let me put it this way. The man’s brain was in a jar on my desk but, for all I know, he could be out practicing law somewhere.”

  7. The Salvation Army realised that it had never received a donation from the city’s most successful lawyer. So a Salvation Army volunteer made an appointment to see the lawyer in his lavish office.

The volunteer opened the meeting by saying, “Our research shows that even though your annual income is over two million dollars, you don’t give a cent to charity. Wouldn’t you like to give something back to your community through the Salvation Army?”

The lawyer thought for a moment and said, “First, did your research also show you that my mother is dying after a long, painful illness and has huge medical bills that are far beyond her ability to pay?”

Embarrassed, the Salvation Army volunteer mumbled, “Uh… No, I didn’t know that.”

“Secondly,” says the lawyer, “did it show that my brother, a disabled Veteran, is blind, confined to a wheelchair and is unable to support his wife and six children?”

The stricken volunteer began to stammer an apology, but was cut off again.

“Thirdly, “the lawyer said, “did your research also show you that my sister’s husband died in a dreadful car accident, leaving her penniless with a mortgage and the burden of supporting three children, one of whom is disabled and another who has learning disabilities requiring an array of private tutors?”

Completely beaten, the humiliated Salvation Army volunteer said, “I’m so sorry. I had no idea.”

And then the lawyer said, “So, if I don’t give any money to them, what makes you think I’d give any to you?”

    • “We know it’s tough because we’re actually inheriting a hell of a mess, to be honest with you, and also inheriting some commitments that are made in the first two of those four years, so it’s important we understand the reality of what the rating agencies are looking for.”
Luxon said the outgoing Labour government committed to a “lot of programs” that weren’t fully funded or there were “fiscal cliffs”.

NZ is broke. It’s a basket case.
Ardern should be dragged back to NZ and held to account.

    • Well listen up punk Kluxon.

There has been no opposition for the past six years.
You notional lot were in disarray in 2020 with 3 so- called leaders in that 2020 calendar year.
You allowed another punk like matthew hooten to direct your dinghy (political adverts)
This resulted in a a disastrous election result in 2020.

You stood shoulder to shoulder with liebour ; never differentiating yourself in any way :-
      -You supported lockdowns
-you supported the rollout of an unproven frozen liquid goo where you had no idea of its efficacy and Number three of your front row – get boosted bishop – was hysterical in promoting it, with even more vigour than he promoted cigarettes 10 years ago.
-you signed an agreement to not meet with legitimate protestors in Feb 2022.
-where was your noise to advocate for Auckland locked up like West Berlin for 5 months from either of the Auckland-based ‘leaders’ > mouthy Collins or Silent Bob kluxon
      – where was your advocacy when NZ citizens were still being locked out of their country illegitimately in 2022. The Afghani Taliban showed more compassion for locked out people than You did.

Kluxon , you and your mob have done bugger all opposition despite so much to oppose.
You Kluxon shut down your own MPs like Pugh and Simon O’Connor when they raised valid counter points. You were sucking up to media cretins instead of backing your own people,
You are useless to be on our side in times of trouble, you woke wet wanker.
You , Rsole, crushed opposition to liebour.
The only voice in opposition from notional in the last 2 years that was heard was Simeon Brown

You lousy feeble god botherer can fuck right off.
There was NO OPPOSITION to all this.
And if you don’t defund media filth by 1 December 2023 then you are proving what a globalist puppet knob end you really are.
      and you won’t .

Who stood there with hands in pocket and total compliance to globalist agenda that has led to this situation.
It was you Christopher Mark luxon

        • Oh Ronnie
          Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie
I don’t care what you erroneously think.

          luxon is duplicitous
It is not my problem nor concern that you cannot read people.

80% of communication is non verbal.
Words have little power – through they do bowl lefties over if you misgender- and more so with politicians’ twaddle, masked as ‘promises’.

          eg The Dinosaurs issue.
I don’t care at all for religious zealots in politics,. Whether catholic, fundamental christians, or moozlems.
The thing is, Fundamental christians believe the world was started 6000 years ago. Boom chukka. A six day week and it was done.
Therefore there has not been evolution nor dinosaurs.
It was all created by a man in the sky over the course of 5 or 6 days.
          Dogma,

This is another case of Kluxon being duplicitous
(that is a nice word for a liar; in case you don’t get it

The majority of notional party jobsworths voted against the Seymour End of Life Bill.
Because they DO want to interfere in people’s lives; and DO want to impose their limited view.
The majority of people voted in Oct 2020 to ratify it; so the deeply religious vatican-influenced notional party is not representative and IS influenced by religion; against a majority of people who don’t care much for religion and its oppression.

            • No, it isn’t all true. That’s not to say I disagree with all HITS has written. They make some valid points. But..

”It is not my problem nor concern that you cannot read people. 80% of communication is non verbal.”

I took an Allen Pease body language course in the 80s. And I have all of Joe Navarro books (Ex FBI)

Trust me think I know more about body language than HITS,.

So, given my knowledge, I haven’t read The Master for the simple reason I haven’t seen enough of him, and I haven’t seen
enough of him as a seasoned politician. Reading him at this stage of his career would in my opinion give too many false positives.

”Invisible sky daddy.” I’ll address that when I have time.

  10. NZDSOS post outlining the evidence they have presented to both Police and all 120 MP’s of the last parliament. The level of coverup and the total disregard for the people of NZ is staggering.
    https://nzdsos.com/2023/10/23/nzdsos-response-liz-gunn/

“On 2 June 2022 our lawyer sent a letter directly to the Police Commissioner requesting an urgent investigation into the deaths of 150 named New Zealanders within a month of vaccination, many occurring within 1-2 days.
A dismissive response was received on 15 July 2022 stating that the Police “do not accept the views expressed by NZDSOS and do not intend to respond by way of an investigation of Medsafe or other agencies involved in the administration of the covid-19 vaccine”.
On 24 May 2022 we posted an open letter which was sent to every MP on 3 June 2022. This letter contained a list of New Zealanders whose deaths had (closely) followed covid vaccination. The names were changed but they were all real people and circumstances. (That list is now larger, more children and young people being added).

Maori language & arts get rammed down our throats on a daily basis so as to brainwash us all into accepting Maori over all other cultures represented in the makeup of our population. 15. The Maori go to…violence.

‘Nah, f… off’: Māori say Treaty referendum would trigger widespread protest

ACT wants to push ahead with its Treaty referendum – but reporter Joel Maxwell discovers there could be extraordinary pushback from everyday Māori.

Māori are warning of sweeping protests, division and the potential for violence if ACT’s proposed Treaty referendum gets across the line in coalition negotiations for the new government.

  16. LUXFLAKES ON GAZA (FROM RED RADIO VIA HIS FB PAGE)
(Apologies if this has been posted before)

    ‘New Zealand’s position on Israel-Gaza

Luxon was asked what he was being told about the situation in Gaza.

“I think it’s important the government is the government until the new government’s formed, they’re taking the lead of New Zealand’s response to the situation,” he said.

“They’re doing a good job of keeping us closely involved and informed and also consulted during that transition period but the bottom line is that we condemn Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israel and we support Israel’s rights to defend itself. We do want to see both sides acting in full compliance with international law and their obligations.”

Asked if it was important New Zealand used its voice on the international stage, Luxon said he understood there would be an opportunity to do that at the UN and there would be a statement made at that time.

“But right now the priority is the protection of civilians and humanitarian assistance and making sure those corridors are opened up to be able to get relief to people but as I said, our position’s pretty clear and united…”

The New Zealand government is contributing $5 million to address urgent humanitarian needs in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank.

The decision for aid had been made after consultation with Luxon, outgoing Prime Minister Chris Hipkins’ statement on the aid funding read’.

That is a hell of an oxymoron for a war situation

Does USA act ‘in full compliance’ when they have been the only party to ever use an atom bomb on civilians- more than once.
Or when they used napalm frequently (multi times a day ) on civilians in south Vietnam- the ones they were meant to be defending.

What are your feelings about mass immigration?
I know that the influx will concentrate in the Auckland area.
Do we need more liquor-store or kebab shop workers (and their aged parents)?
How will the kinds of immigrants we are getting add value to New Zealand?

    7

    0

    • Immigration is pushed by debt dependant desperados.

Destroy your culture for some whizz fizz economic cocaine.

Also, mass immigration creates turmoil. From chaos, opportunity beckons.

A spectre haunts us. Search for pronouncements by “Barbara Lerner Spectre”. Or read the first sentence in communist manifesto.

Japan, on the other hand, wisely avoided the diversity mass immigration nightmare

Sometimes I see that some of them have purchased gas stations, & small superettes.
That is in a small provincial town.

In provincial areas I have recently come across numbers of Filipinos, working on dairy farms.
It seems to be that corporate farms find it easier to get so many in as they have the set up to jump through govt hoops.

Then also 3 small but international exporting freezing works, which I know have said, it turned their fortunes around to highest recorded daily production.
The numbers seem to have almost clean swept the locals out, as explained further below.

Forestry planting, Filipinos (logging also) & Fijians. More surprised at both lots that were a considerable distance from their “NZ based home”.

The biggest problem is that NZ is building a Hamas Jail.
So many Aotearoians not being punctual, not turning up for work after pay day.
I do not know if Covidial sickness systems are still in play, but if you said you tested positive, then Social Welfare made payment through the employer to the new-sickness worker.
All well advised by the “wider-world” perspective, and the employers better do as the govt. tells them.

That “wider-world” seems ot apply to the local schools going by the how many kids are roaming around at midnight and even later.

New Zealand will find it will have no choice but comply with the “wider-world’ view so that all can enjoy those human rights bestowed on them//

    https://www.1news.co.nz/2023/10/25/auckland-megalot-subdivision-gets-fast-track-approval/

An independent panel has approved subdividing Unitec’s former campus site in Auckland’s Mt Albert into “seven megalots”, paving the way for thousands of new homes as part of one of the country’s biggest developments.

The Carrington residential development was expected to take around 15 years to complete and supports at least 3000 new homes in the Central Auckland suburb.

As one of the country’s largest developments, the project covers nearly 40 hectares of land next to Unitec’s remaining campus buildings nearby.

    • There was a video mentioned by Counterspin a while back called if I remember it correctly “the four faced terrorist”. They also posted four different pictures of Tarrant taken from different sources which looked like a different person. I understand that there is a number of other points in the video which cast doubt on the official narrative. Of course I haven’t seen it myself as it is illegal to watch it in NZ. Make of that what you will.

  19. all you old buggers please note.

If you’re 65 or over and want to work, you’re far better off in New Zealand than Australia, says Peter Martin
    25th Oct 23, 9:54am by Guest

Want to keep working after you’ve reached pension age?

The Australian government has just made it a little bit easier, increasing the amount you can earn per year from work before losing some of your pension by A$4,000 on an ongoing basis.

Late last year, it temporarily upped the so-called work bonus from $7,800 per year to $11,800 to “incentivise pensioners into the workforce”. It was part of the government’s response to its September jobs and skills summit.

It meant pensioners could earn an underwhelming $227 per week from work without harming their pension, up from the previous $150.

The rules for older workers are very different in New Zealand. In fact, if Australia adopted New Zealand’s approach, we could have an extra 500,000 willing workers – a fair chunk of them paying tax.

What’s NZ doing differently for older workers?

  20. TRACKING THE POPULATION FLOWS
Stats NZ reported that the country’s population grew by +105,900 people in the year to June, with Auckland’s population up +47,000. Migration was responsible for three-quarters of the Auckland growth. Net internal migration flowed out of some cities, especially Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The one city gaining big from internal migration was Tauranga.

and yes there are plenty of people here these days. the roads are clogged more then ever and there are plenty of crazies behind the wheel. Had my van taken out by one on Friday afternoon. Mad as stupid bitch.

Even in his early school years, Lloyd Burr knew he was gay.

Burr was never interested in games of “catch and kiss” with girls. From 6 years old, he used to think, ‘do I get to catch the boys and kiss them?’

On the podcast, he explains how keeping his sexuality secret for almost 20 years negatively affected his mental health.

We waited until today to find out, for the first time, that the Prime Minister’s Office received information about the March 15 terrorist attack before the massacre took place. Jacinda Ardern should be called to the hearing and asked to explain this appalling lack of transparency to the New Zealand public – let alone to the Deputy Prime Minister and government coalition partner.

This was a crisis event. To keep this basic information hidden is not only unacceptable it is now clearly indicative of how that office worked.

The next question is who else inside Cabinet knew and said nothing?

    9

To link it to the training police training program would probably need at least a few days notice.

  28. NZ First leader Winston Peters claims former PM Jacinda Ardern never told him of Christchurch terrorist’s email in bizarre post

Winston Peters, the deputy prime minister at the time, claimed today was the first the public had learned the Prime Minister’s Office had received the email.

NZ First leader Winston Peters has claimed Dame Jacinda Ardern never informed him the Christchurch terrorist sent his chilling manifesto to the Prime Minister’s Office in an email just minutes before the March 15 attack – despite it being widely reported by news media at the time and addressed in a press conference the next day.

In an astonishing post on social media, Peters tonight called on Ardern to give evidence at the ongoing coronial inquest into the terror attack to explain what he alleged was her “lack of transparency to the New Zealand public”.

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/nz-first-leader-winston-peters-claims-former-pm-jacinda-ardern-never-told-him-of-christchurch-terrorists-email-in-bizarre-post/JN5O6LTLOVDHFIDZSQKF2D67ZE/

Peters’ claims come after a parliamentary staffer gave evidence at the inquest today in Christchurch and said that six minutes after soon-to-be mass murderer Brenton Tarrant sent an email to the Prime Minister’s Office, a call was made to 111 to report its “concerning” contents.

Peters, the deputy prime minister at the time, claimed this was the first the public had learned the Prime Minister’s Office had received the email.

However, on March 16, 2019, just a day after the attack which killed 51 people, Ardern confirmed in a press conference – reported globally – that her office had received the information in a generic inbox for the prime minister.

“We waited until today to find out, for the first time, that the Prime Minister’s Office received information about the March 15 terrorist attack before the massacre took place,” Peters claimed in his post on X.

“Jacinda Ardern should be called to the hearing and asked to explain this appalling lack of transparency to the New Zealand public – let alone to the Deputy Prime Minister and government coalition partner.

“This was a crisis event. To keep this basic information hidden is not only unacceptable it is now clearly indicative of how that office worked. The next question is who else inside Cabinet knew and said nothing?”

Peters has been approached for comment by the Herald about his post. The Prime Minister’s Office has also been asked for comment.

Several social media users also pointed out under Peters’ post tonight that the Prime Minister’s Office had already confirmed it had received the email.

Ardern’s response to the attack was commended worldwide, including an image of Ardern, wearing a hijab while embracing victims’ family members, later being projected onto the world’s tallest building, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.

The parliamentary staffer, whose name is suppressed, told the inquest today that they told police the email outlined an “attack on Christchurch”, threatened the use of firearms and explosive devices – and named three particular mosques.

He said he was contacted by a colleague on March 15, 2019, after the manifesto landed in a generic inbox for Ardern.

The colleague was worried about the contents of the email – which was also sent to about 70 other recipients including then National leader Simon Bridges, other political figures and media at 1.33pm.

After looking over the email – at 1.39pm – the staffer was equally concerned and called 111.

    • so winnies claims are a big nothing, everyone knows tarrant sent his shit to cindy just prior to his mass shooting (not a terror attack as our msm and political scum portray it).

It sounds like WP just woke up, and was not aware that Ardern had told of the contact the next day in a press statement.
PM’s office would not have known which city or mosque,
While Ardern is waltzing around to WOMAD in New Plymouth

1:28 pm : A forum, An ” anonymous” the manifesto announced & links to a facebook livestream.

      1:31 pm : PM office receives e-mail

1:33 pm : Live streaming starts. Ardern’s office forwards to Parliamentary security who pass it on to police.

1:40 pm : BT arrives at first mosque, Begins shooting. On the 2nd round of bullets the police are called.
1:41 pm : Police receive first 111 call.

1:44 pm : 1st St John call, to immediate 6 more calls

1:45 pm : BT drives off.. and Police have calls about erratic car.

1:47 pm : First Police on scene & told shooting.

1:55 pm : BT is shooting up 2nd mosque.

1:56 pm : Armed offenders arrived at 1st mosque.
approx type writer thrown, BT exits in car, & car window was broken

2:02 pm : 2 rural community cops sight the car & ram it.

2:10 pm : Police publicly confirm “a serious firearm incident”

2:30 pm : Ardern cancels from Womad New Plymouth to return to Welllngton.

So just on an hour of information about the attack.

10 minutes notice to PM’s office before the shooting started.

They never saw that $4.40 price again.

        • Most big NZ corporates loved the Covid. They got to impose draconian control on their wage slaves, with a political excuse, and went for blood. You were made to commit a potential suicidally act, in order to stay in employment. Most slaves submitted to the will of power, and were forever stained. Disgusting behaviour by these companies. The courts should destroy them, if they serve justice, in the end.

          5

          0

        • Fletchers are a disparate company like so many. The left-hand doesn’t know what the right hand are planning. Each bit has to stand on its own 2 feet. example.
In the middle of Mt Maunganui Fletchers have a concrete plant. In a place miles from the work. Several years ago they upgraded it with a new flash one. Lots of land around it. Bad decision to leave it there. Should have moved south where the growth is.
Then they bought into the Lakes and built the Gib Plant. Impressive to see. BUT. every bit of gypsum and other products have to be trucked from the port into the store. Thousands of tonnes each year, and every sheet of Gib has to be trucked out.
Lord only knows how many extra trucks and truckloads are now on our roads for which we get no compensation
. That plant should have gone where the concrete plant is, where the gypsum could have been blown into the shed from the wharf and the rail is right there. or it could have gone to Rangiuru where the rail could cart the gypsum in and the gib out. Instead, we are stuck with a plant that fills the roads with trucks in an already stretched system.
Fetchers are not known for good decisions. Ever.

TCC and Priority One well done.
