  1. White House releases Trump-Zelenskiy call summary

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/world/2019/09/white-house-releases-trump-zelenskiy-call-summary.html

“In raising the Biden issue, Trump tells Zelenskiy that “I heard you had a prosecutor who was very good and he was shut down and that’s really unfair.” He said he’d have Giuliani – “a highly respected man – and Barr call him.

“Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it. It sounds horrible to me,” Trump said.

Zelenskiy assures Trump that his next prosecutor general “will look into the situation”.

“I’m sure you will figure it out,” Trump tells him, according to the summary.”

        • NEWSFLASH DPF is doubling down on his TDS

Hilariously, while we’ve been musing about DPF’s mental state, he was busy penning another diatribe about Trump.

I’m not sure right now I can tell the difference between Farrar and Pelosi.

I really hope he’s got someone who can care for him after these TDS attacks.

The divorce from reality is quite stark now with Farrar, he writes

“Politicians should not be involved in directing law enforcement on who to target, especially their rivals. The fact I even need to state this is ridiculous. It should be a taken.

I’d suggest that Trump knows far than more Farrar about what it looks like when a sitting President directs law enforcement AND spy agencies to target political rivals – it’s almost as if Farrar has had his head buried up his ass for three years now to avoid understanding the magnitude of the corruption of Obama, Comey, McCabe, Clinton, Lynch, Strozk, Page, Mueller etc.

The only really important difference with the Ukraine situation is that Biden is demonstrably a crook and (despite the largest witch hunt in US history – nothing has been turned up about what Trump was accused of).

It beggars belief and it confirms for me that the world is going bonkers.

          • DP your got me going over to look at KB. Farrar has definitely lost the plot with regard Trump and very soon his credibility will be in question the way he is going.
He uses one source (lefty Nate Silver) and I note the link is to a PART of the transcript. Ridiculous.
He definitely needs to read wider range of sources if he going come out with sort of thread.
As one poster says the WSJ has a completely opposite view –he could have presented that as well for balance.
As howitis says below he is confirming he is just another globalist. He will standing beside the PM soon talking about a borderless world.

  2. I think Simon could be keeping his powder dry, and good on him for not rising to the bait of this nasty ego driven old man. Sometimes it is best to keep your thoughts to yourself until the time is right. They say revenge is a dish best served cold, and I hope National will be serving this dish in platefuls when electioneering time comes around.

    • Right L as the saying goes “never argue with a fool as onlookers may not be able to tell the difference” – Mark Twain. It is also a sign of the strong unity National have with none of them taking the bait from innuendo or jibes leveled at them. They do all seem to get so many Ministers rattled with pointed interjections. Sweet cheeks excuse for being over the top with his response when Mallard pulled him up was “he was responding to an opposition member.” Withdrawal and apology demanded from Mallard. Funnier was the ejection of 2 Government members from the chamber in a matter of minutes. Jones was one but no camera coverage of the other. Lol

  3. Jacinda Ardern, in US talk show appearance, calls on world leaders to be less divisive
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/09/jacinda-ardern-in-us-talk-show-appearance-calls-on-world-leaders-need-to-be-less-divisive.html

“People hear each other now and our peoples feel the effect of that. I don’t say that to point to any one leader – actually that’s a duty of care that we all have and in this borderless world now. I think we need to be mindful that other countries hear it, kids hear it, and our words, they have impact.”

There’s Cindy mentioning ” borderless world” again. She is a globalist and is saying so. Trump on the other hand is a “patriot” who believes in putting country and his people first.

    • “Their place” would be a dungeon with shackles and rats for 10 years if I had power for a day. Davidson is going to try her hardest to increase the homeless population by making it impossible to kick anyone out. Landlords will get super picky about who they even consider letting near their homes.

  4. Free speech has a cost. Since the Trade Me debate over the selling of MAGA caps, I have provided a link to the seller here on YSB. In return, I was promised a free cap. Eleven days ago I emailed the seller asking where my free cap was and to send it to my PO Box in Hamilton. As of yesterday I have not had the courtesy of a reply AND no sign of my hat.

I have now deleted the link.

    • Shame India and China aren’t in that list, I’m sure Cindy can sort them out! hahahaha
If the concern is wasting resources that are limited. Why is there so much time and resources being wasted on a debunked emergency. Why are we (I mean New Zealand)blindly volunteering to even talk about it when at home our economy is tanking.
It’s corruption and only corruption for Ardern to get a desk job at the UN just like Aunty Helen.
Why are changes to our electoral laws and boundaries being mooted by an unelected govt made up of groups of unqualified retards using incomplete census data.
How can our govt stand as any example while they molest and cover up at will.
Why are we lied to constantly like we are too dumb to be told the truth.
Resign!!!! Jacinda Ardern you are not the Prime minister to New Zealand.
You’re just a cuckoo that has stolen the nest. Get out and take the menagerie with you!

  5. What the hell is happening in NZ, is it Labours wellbeing policy or are people becoming selfish and only prepared to look after themselves. When you have old ladies in their 90’s falling over and breaking the leg and having to lay their crying with pain for four and a half days before being found something is wrong in the family, friends that you think would be looking in on them.
    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12269304
Then you also have someone dying in a university hostel that was only found after the smell became unbearable and people decided to investigate, this doesn’t say a lot for Government hell bent in pouring millions into Wellbeing when the can’t even manage the basics.

  6. Hold the phone, Alison Mau is triggered! We haven’t seen that before have we?

    Well colour me surprised!

Tired old never really even was a thing has-been Alison Mau has gone full retard in attacking Hosking and Garner for ridiculing the ridiculous Greta Thunberg. As far as I can tell highly emotional Mau’s argument is that:
    – Hosk and Garner are mysogynistic pale stale males and therefore they’re wrong because….. the patriarchy
    – it’s bad man stuff to point out irrationality and hysteria from a female because…. women are irrational and hysterical in nature
    – just because Greta is 16, it doesn’t mean she’s wrong (which is in the same category of irrelevance and obviousness as insisting “water is wet”) (newsflash Ms Mau, her age doesn’t mean she’s right either – the fact that she’s skipped school for 5 years and is merely parroting lies fed to her does mean she is wrong though)

There is more irrational drivel from Mau, but it is truly one of the weakest and most irrational pieces of journalism I’ve ever seen.

Still, I do salute Mau’s tenacity as she tries to wring every last sou from her nothingburger career. Like every fascist from the left, she ignores that Greta is a tried and tested technique of liars the world over (like our lyin’ Cindy) – they think that you can tell evil lies, so long as you do it hiding behind children.

    • Any person who supports Greta supports Communism. It’s that simple. A whole new wave of pansies who think it’s a Govt’s job to “protect them” are in for a long road to nothing. They speak of “revolution” as if they have any idea what that actually means. Maybe it’s time they learned the hard way- I’ll do my part if it comes down to the nitty gritty 🙂

    • In twelve years from now, when the world ends (according to AOC) Comrade Thunberg will be 28.
I wonder how her emotional stability will be affected by discovering she was manipulated by flat-earthers from the Swedish Tinseltown.

Meanwhile I look forward to someone in the media asking her where these people are who are dying from political inaction on a fictitious climate emergency.

      • Maybe the suicidal people, worried about climate or whatever.

Maybe imagining people are like lemmings and then the Disney hoax.
In Sweden the lemmings may not jump of cliffs, and actually are ok with swimming in lakes.
Perhaps Greta’s parents drove their car over these, and their dogs partake in the feast.

Hordes of lemmings have been spotted leaving the safety of the mountains to make their way down to more inhabited areas, falling victim to traffic and being preyed upon by other animals. …..

……. If they are not hit by cars wild or domestic animals are very keen to get their paws on them.
“Our dogs are eating the lemmings while we are out walking. It is not much we can do about it. The dogs just bite down on them, throw them up in the air and then swallow them almost whole. They probably devour between five and ten a day,”

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2019/09/ihum-tao-occupiers-take-protest-to-auckland-town-hall.html

“Protest leader Pania Newton says central and local government are passing the blame.

“They keep hitting the balls in each other’s courts, and so at the moment I think the council has been very quiet because a lot of the focus has been on the Government.”

A great steaming pile for Cindy to sort out on her return from the world stage.

  9. Greta Thunberg was shocked when Trump showed up at UN, but not when he mocked her
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/world/2019/09/greta-thunberg-was-shocked-when-trump-showed-up-at-un-but-not-when-he-mocked-her.html

She won the award “for inspiring and amplifying political demands for urgent climate action reflecting scientific facts,” the Right Livelihood Foundation said in a statement on Wednesday.”

“These included us reflecting, changing realities in asset values and future earnings, lifting our financial discipline, getting clear on why we exist and completing a strategy review,” he said.”

  11. After the last election, I walked back home from the polling booth with my neighbour, and I was pretty stunned when he told me who he had voted for.

Recently he named me as a referee for the renewal of his firearms licence and I was duly visited by the local cop who went through a lengthy questionnaire with me. He asked me whether I had any concerns about my neighbour’s mental well being and I informed that I had. Questioned about those concerns, I told the policeman that he had helped put this current PM in office. I got the impression he agreed with me, but my neighbour still got his licence.

  12. DPF’s TDS is getting worse

He really can’t let go, he cannot get over being so totally wrong about the 2016 election (kinda embarrassing for a professional pollster), he can’t get over being wrong about Comey, he can’t get over being wrong about Obama, he can’t get over being wrong about Hillary.

Here is the latest offering from DPF (worryingly screeching “Impeachment” over the Ukraine non-scandal) on Trump.

I can’t imagine the mental gymnastics one has to perform to be outraged by Trump when it’s clear that Biden has been abusing his elected position for 40 years to enrich himself – a trend that increased exponentially when he abused his 8 years as Vice-President to apply what was basically a mafia-style protection strong-arm technique to protect his stupid son from investigation over some very dodgy behaviour.

The left opened this particular Pandora’s Box of attacking political opponents when Obama criminally used organs of state security to firstly spy on a political opponent and then to start a baseless witchhunt.

As always leftwing nutjobs can’t stand it when their own dirty, underhand tactics are used against them. All Trump has done is guaranteed that if Creepy Joe wins, that the platform is set to dog his presidency with endless senate and house investigations, assailing the next DNC president with the same nonsense that Trump has experienced. If it’s good for the goose it’s good for the gander. The DNC lit this dumpster fire, what the fuck are they complaining about if they’re getting burnt by it too.

When DPF is prepared to recognise the encyclopedic volumes of abuses by the DNC politicians he idolises then maybe he can start complaining about Trump draining the Swamp – but until then – he’s just being a hypocritical petit homme.

    • I have often felt like changing the Wikipedia entry for Kiwiblog.
      Now I am determined to!

It says that he worked for National Party and that its a right wing blog.

To me he is clearly more of a liberal.
I’d say that most of his members are right wing
But how would you describe his blog, does a blog’s description depend on its owner or its members.

      0

      0

      • Hi DN15. I think that’s a tough one. My personal view is that KB is a confused mix of things but overall he’s slightly more left of centre than right. He’s very socially progressive, and his views on gun control and immigration seem hardly any different from the prevailing views of our extreme left wing parties. On the economy I think he’s generally liberal and on free speech, I think he’d like to think he’s a liberal but he shows tendancies to be left of centre. On international relations he’s a major globalist shill and just does not understand what’s happening in the world with the rise of national pride and what is driving the populist movements.

If I was pushed to give a definition – I’d go for “Bleeding heart liberal with TDS” but that’s not very catchy.

It’s DPF’s blog he can self-identify as whatever he likes – I just think it’s dishonest to describe it as a right wing blog.

        Chardonnay conservative? Cuckservative?

          • He would be pure Demoncrat for sure.
That party has moved far left in the last 25 years reflecting Farrar’s movement.

The D-RATs are squarely anti-democracy with all its moves since 2008 and reflects Farrar who is anti-Boris Johnson; anti-Trump; anti-Brexit and anti- National pride.
The Demoncrats use state tools to attack political opponents as exemplified many times by Farrar’s beloved Obama.

The scary bit is that if Farrar has influence in Labour Lite then this may explain its shuffle into leftie land in the last 15 years – although when you look at Irish Republican Bolger you can see it probably began sooner.

            0

        • Farrar appears to sit in a position where the likes of Bomber Bradbury as Alt Right 🙂
          He is veeeery lefty.
Anti Boris Johnson, Trump, Brexit, and it would appear ScoMo.
He is a rabid globalist and pro immigration.

He thought Mallard was going be a good Speaker and I’m sure he has met Mallard more than I have.
          He simply can’t evaluate people.
I recall that John Stringer had repeated bad posts but stayed on.

Farrar’s KB is in my rear view mirror. It had its time and, as others say, it is a rather confused and I would guess Farrar is diametrically opposed to the majority of his contributors by now.

          0

          0

          • ……”Farrar is diametrically opposed to the majority of his contributors by now”…..

Probably, but he’s never marched in lockstep with his commenters. I admit that he’s wandered off the reservation with his endless criticism of eg Trump & Johnson but he throws up a topic & readers are allowed to express agreement or disagreement. The comments won’t appear for three or four hours but we can thank the most fuck useless moderators this side of the black stump for that.

Contrast that with the automatic silencing of opposing opinion at The Standard or Trueblue.

As an aside although I’ve followed & commented on KB for about ten years I’m still none the wiser as to how his blog attracts the wackiest conservatives & every religious fruitcake who’s ever crawled out of a traditionalist church.

    • I agree DPF is hopeless on Yankee politics.. but that’s hardly the reason for visiting his site. I’m there for information about what is going on in NZ. Most days I pick up a gem of info in the comments that I wouldn’t easily find elsewhere.

I would be interested if he makes much $$$ from the advertising he carries. He desperately needs to spend a few shekels and hire a decent moderator if he can’t be bothered moderating the blog himself. The blog has become very predictable at the moment… maybe it will pick up next year as the election closes in.

    • They gotta go. Nats and ACT need to make sure that ardern the liar, her rabble, peters and the watermelons are obliterated at next years election. National need to hit them hard in the lead-up, gloves off, no fucking around. They have more than enough ammo, they need to get the message out to joe public and Bridges needs to rip ardern apart during the debates.

      0

      0

      • I agree with your analysis but please believe me that I’m not just Nat-bashing for the sake of it when I say that I seriously doubt that Bridges or the Nats are even remotely capable of hitting the COL hard. At any stage. During the lead-up, or at any time during the campaign.

Really, this country is fucked unless we can get a serious conservative/Right Wing party together before the next election who are articulate and can communicate effectively with the silent majority.

I’d love to hope that the Nats are capable of this….. but sadly, any hopes of Bridges and his team of Labour-Lite nobodies doing anything useful are, frankly, just delusions.

  13. I don’t see any party offering a panacea for the corruption of young minds.
Educators are unapproachable and not accountable.

Any party that saves our youth from their descent into obnoxious righteousness gets my support.

Until someone does what they say, without sexual favours, we are set to continue on a slow, deliberate path to social decay.

And I have always backed him even with is flaws.
But this time he has not done himself a favor asking for Ukranian help against Biden.
For a start he does not need any help against Biden
Second you would have though that he would have learned with all the Russia stuff at the start of his presidency.
Its just one distraction that he does not need.

    • I beg to differ.

This is critical in the next step of delivering on a promise to the people of America.

The only reason Biden could do a deal of this magnitude and get away with it, was because Obama sanctioned it.

It was a deal that was forged by the Uranium One deal that went south when the Ukraine pulled the plug on Rosatom. The folks that bought US uranium.

Rudy Guiliani is all over this and spoke with Ukraine officials earlier this year, to get the truth.

The Uranium One scandal netted no prosecutions as the Secretary of State at the time was you know who.
The Clinton Foundation garnered US $145 million from the deal.

The Dems are doing everything they can to stop this coming out.

Hence, impeachment proceedings. (accuse others of the very crimes you have committed to divert attention from the truth)

Guilliani said “they have fallen into the trap”
