  1. Mike Hunty, If only you were right Mikey I for one would be very happy but I fear you are totally wrong on this one ,Realtors are crowing about auction numbers being high without mentioning that only 35% to 40% are selling and that the high numbers of auctions are because of mortgage stress among mortgage holders, I wouldn’t hold my breath for anything like the price gains of the past , how can that possibly happen with very high mortgage rates and stupidly high (already) housing prices in a badly damaged economy with quickly rising unemployment numbers.
Importing semi skilled needy people from China India and Pakistan ain’t gonna help at all unless more taxi drivers ,takeaway shop owners ,alcohol outlets and vape shops are going to save us.

    • First, you need to stop supping the bullshit. Interest rates are not high, interest rates are around the norm currently. 7.0 or around that has been the norm for years except when we change govt.s and they do stupid shit.
Second our rates are higher than many countries so ask yourself why.
The answer is that we don’t save sufficient money nor do we earn sufficient money from our expots so we are always seriously in debt.
How to save. 15% super like Australia, compulsory.
Go back and look at samstuubbs interview I posted on Saturday for which some decided without bothering to watch, that he was wrong but he isn’t. This is not new’ I have been saying the same thing for 40 years.
Too much money spent on stuff that we don’t need or at the whims of vote buying stupid politicians.

      • Viking, FFS the difference between paying a house off only 10/15 years ago that cost $380.000 at 7% compared to today’s $1000,000 house in nappy value suburban Auckland is astronomical, what don’t you understand about that Vikey??

      • If everyone thought like Vicky we would still be living in trees and flinging shit at each other “ because it was like that 40 years ago”

        He also doesn’t get that 15% on a $50 k mortgage is better than 7% on a $500k one.

    • The coming onslaught of paper work and compliance, from the regional council boffins implementing that wanker parkers new regulations ,which were helped along by the fecking tosser O’conner is going to remove the last of us smaller family farmers from the industry .

      • Dougal10 :— A mine-field of new regulations that have been set to come into play after the election, as those ‘council boffins’ seek to expand their empires, to enrich & entrench themselves.

Unfortunately too true as the techno-bureaucracy is well entrenched, plus it uses the leverage through the corporates, like Stock & Station Agencies, Dairy Corporates, Meat companies etc., to gain compliance & to support the beguiling wokism.

The paper work & compliance all costs money, plus the straight out ravaging by fees, levies, ongoing monitoring charges, consultants, etc., to comply to a wish-list & also to pay that techno-bureaucracy.

  3. Hal Turner’s in a quandary…

“There are twenty-two (22) Arab countries on this planet and it appears right now that NOT ONE wants **any** “Palestinians.” Why is that?

What is it about “Palestinians” that makes all their so-called “brethren” avoid them **all** like the Plague?

I know, as a matter of fact, that I have been — and continue to be — very hard on Israel for what’s going on in Gaza. I make no apology for that. IF Israel wants to be “the good guys” then I expect them to BE that.

Frankly, in my view, the “Good guys” don’t go dropping 2,000 pound bombs from fighter jets, onto apartment complexes, hospitals, schools or refugee camps. Silly me.

Yet, I have this nagging reality about the “Palestinians” that just won’t quit. Why is it that absolutely NONE of their Arab country “brothers” want anything to do with them?

This morning, someone told me that the average IQ of Palestinians is 69. That’s literally far below “retarded.”

Someone else told me that this entire class of people is nothing but violent. The person I spoke with told me that Palestinians breed to hate; they raise their kids to hate. And, according to this same person, they hate literally everyone who doesn’t give them exactly what they want, when they want it. “Violent, spoiled brats” is what he called them.

So help me out, here, folks.

Am I being too harsh on Israel?”

    • Alice, The stupid Hamas leaders living in luxury in Qatar thought they could strike ,kidnap and hold the Jewish Army in a Mexican standoff, I believe that the 200 hostages have been written off as collateral damage, the murdering raping filthy Hamas terrorists hiding underground arseholes will be twitching like an outhouse door in a hurricane at this moment as they have sealed their fate as sure as night follows day, that’s not Israeli support from myself it’s just the obvious facts.

      11

    • Yep sorry Alice but I believe you are being far too harsh on Israel. They are bred to hate and no mistake out to destroy Israel. Not one of the other Arab states/countries want them that must inform you of what the Palestinians are about. No one wants them. The MSM is more than happy to feed the west on their bullshit, hospitals over tunnels of destruction. They have o care about damage of their own people, believing that 72 virgins/goats will await them on their death and all that other bullshit. Not sure what happens to the women though. Mohammad had many wives some as young as 9 WTF is that all about other than. he was a PEDO.

    • Although they are right about the absurdity of the modern Israeli state and its hideous crimes – they have never sought to better themselves and only want Israel wiped out. All they want is to kill all the Jews. Naturally the Jews aren’t keen on that.

The Palestinians have had billions in aid and could have created a fantastic little state trading with it’s prosperous neighbour. People from Gaza worked in Israel and there are many prosperous Arab Muslims in Israel.

    • Harsh on Israel?
Better to be very harsh on the self-serving hypocritical United Nations.

March 2023 ….. UN Watch has published a series of reports in recent years that exposed over 100 UNRWA staff members who posted incitement to jihadi terrorism and antisemitism on Facebook,
which in turn elicited praise and endorsement of their posts from their UNRWA students and fellow staff.
Likewise, IMPACT-se has published three reports analyzing hundreds of pages of teaching materials revealing that content glorifying terrorism,
inciting violence and promoting antisemitism (which UNRWA has consistently insisted it does not teach)1
is actually included in UNRWA’s own materials—
      — created by UNRWA staff, for UNRWA students, and taught in UNRWA classrooms.

      https://www.impact-se.org/wp-content/uploads/UNRWA_Report_2023_IMPACT-se_And_UN-Watch.pdf

Yet New Zealand continues to comply with the UN requests for more humanitarian aid, in particular for UNRWRA to continue educating the children, to build up their importance of their native culture.

UNRWA’s Teachers of Hate — Hillel Neuer on ILTV
      https://youtu.be/dHACq4aXWhI
      5 mins 35 secs : July 1st 2022

UNRWA has placed six employees on administrative leave after a new report by UN Watch exposed UNRWA teachers who publicly call to murder Jews.
“Teachers who call to murder Jews must be barred from the classroom for life,” said Neuer. “These temporary suspensions are just a slap on the wrist.”
“UNRWA is trying to pretend they solved the problem, even as they signal to their staff—and to terrorist organizations like Islamic Jihad which pressed UNRWA to reject the UN Watch report—that they don’t really object to the virulent antisemitism of their teachers, which UNRWA and its donors know pervades the agency,” said Neuer.

Note in the above interview the massive increase of funding for UNRWA

…. Palestinian Arab children in Gaza are acting in “plays” imitating the terror attack in Jerusalem in which 7 were murdered by a synagogue.
While Palestinians indoctrinate children with violence, the West continues funding it through UNRWA and “aid” to Palestinian Arab leaders

Who is sewing the seeds of destruction, reaffirming the culture into children?
Remember New Zealand is also an accomplice by channelling funding to this.

    • Wiki: Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) is an international network who focus on social and cultural issues faced by member nations. Its formation was announced by its founders, Jordan Peterson, John Anderson and Baroness Stroud in June 2023, with a London conference held in late October of that year.

      ~~
The ARC is a long planned collaboration started by Jordan Peterson and other like minded who are taking on the communist WEF. They believe in existing agricultural practices not organic practices that don’t feed the world, they don’t believe that the earth will be doomed from climate, etc. They believe in saving human beings, not less human beings, that there are plenty of resources and with proper care and development can be grown to support everyone. Basically, life was great before the WEF and will be after they bugger off.

The recent ARC conference filled the O2 stadium in London. Jordan promises an even larger conference venue next time they meet. The fight back is growing.

    • You are missing the point. Winston is needed to stop the other sleazy pricks going too far. They know he is a live wire and impossible to control, so they will be more careful.

You need to chill out and have a laugh – just like Winston does 🙂

The cuntry is already fucked so what is the worst that can happen?

      11

    • You are wrong rev.

You are as wrong about Winston as you were initially wrong about Russia / Ukraine, until we corrected you.

My suggestion is do a little research before uttering. Actually a lot of research. And unplug from all mainstream media. Take time out to actually understand what Winston, and other politicians, have said in depth. Not just sound bites from the mainstream media who print anything and everything to be relevant, and most of the time the opposite of the truth.

If you are in a position where you gets dozens or hundreds of txts or emails in a day and most are bullshit, it is very likely Winston DID think it was a scam. In any case, Winston would be disrespectful if he called it what I believe it was.

I believe Winston would be thinking something like: “Seymour, you are a narcissist and a vaccine death / injury denier, and a gaslighter. If you think I am going to have a private conversation with you where you try to intimidate and bully me and get me to back track on my principles and/or convince me to bully Luxon over the treaty referendum, you are mistaken.”

Anyone in their right mind knows Seymour has changed since 2020. He’s arrogant, disrespectful and a gaslighter. The only way to treat these people is to call them out, and or have all communications transparent. I totally agree with Winston only wanting to meet Seymour around the table with Luxon.

Seymour is revealing his true colours. He is like an 8 year old brat, that can’t get his own way, so doesn’t want to play. He has forgotten that the voters decide the make up of Parliament. So rather than abiding by the wishes of the voter, he has decided he wants to have the upper hand.

Ignoring everything else, his gaslighting and denying the thousands of vaccine deaths, tens of hundreds or thousands of injuries, 25% excess deaths, 30+% increase in disabilities, indicates he has been slurping the WEF koolaid by the bucket, or someone really does have something over him.

If he was actually an electrical engineer with good logic, and impeccable ethics and he proudly states, he would have refused the vaccine, and left Parliament over the last 3 years rather than agree to mass injection.

This is something rotten about a person that wants to do evil. But even worse is someone that condones and participates in evil when they know it is wrong. At some stage he knew it was wrong. Everything about the ACT party and his attestations over the last few years from Seymour has been about freedom of the individual. And in one foul swoop over the last 3.5 years, he has gone from being defender of rights, to a lynch mob leader. “Let’s round up people and vaccinate them.” Or words that implied the same.

      • Dylan Hunt I never had a one way or the other opinion about Putin and Zelenskys war in fact I referred to them as a couple of dwarfs on many occasions, I make comments on what I’m hearing at the time ,it’s called following the facts as they are available.,I never listen to the MSM and couldn’t give two fucks about the ” We ” who you say corrected me ,what a fucking cheek ,are you the YSB truth czar? go fuck yourself you clown and fuck the “we” who supposedly corrected me,, , LMFAO.

        2

        7

        • I mean no disrespect, rev, and I enjoy most of your comments, but I beg to differ. There was a time, at the outset that you defended Zelensky and poured vitriol on Putin. Several of us countered your argument. There is however no need to swear at me.

…I make comments on what I’m hearing at the time, it’s called following the facts as they are available.

I am one of those people, who as a dedicated professional researcher, zero in on raw data, not what I am hearing. I’ve listened to several of Winston’s actual interviews, as well as Seymour’s interviews, and interviews about both. I have referenced that fact since I know directly (in person) over 30-40 people with vaccine side effects, as well as know of dozens more, including deaths, it stands to reason that Winston, in his age group, also knows a number of people affected by the vaccine.

In fact it is difficult to find someone that does not know anyone affected by the vaccines, unless they live in a cave, or don’t ask the bold questions.

That being the case, WW3 directed at reducing the worlds population, or vaccine tyranny as we know it, with all the deaths, injuries, loss of jobs, loss of incomes, bankrupted businesses, and mortgagee sales has significantly changed the political landscape I believe Winston, who by all accounts is well connected, would be aware of a significant portion of this.

Given the changed landscape since the launch of WW3, I think (to a surety of 95%) that Winston is genuine.

I’m sorry if I got you ruffled, I believe in free speech, which also includes my observations about someone else bad mouthing the only person who is in Parliament and capable of standing up against the vaccine tyranny.

He may not get far, and will probably incur wrath from people on here, that “Once again Winston has not kept his promises”, but the cards are stacked against him as a minor player. With Luxon firmly in the WEF camp, and Seymour compromised, Winston will have a tough time.

We need to be supporting him and his team, as well as supporting the non political freedom groups that need to keep pressure on the govt.

I like the fact that W Peters is not a globalist and not a separatist (apartheid) .
He is a Nationalist. These were very common in the 1960s and 1970s and before that. This was before the WEF infiltration of ‘young globalist leaders’ .
Peters started his political career in the 1970s. Nationalism is and will be his style.

Whether Peters delivers on his rhetoric is yet to be seen. No matter how raw the wording is.
He has not been a deliverer to date and with a basic 6 in 100 people voting NZF he does not have a strong mandate.
His Utu ways are also a constraint.

However it is a good thing that he will change his mind and refine his position as things change. Very different to someone like Mikey poos who is constantly proven wrong by the evidence, but refuses to acknowledge facts and gets all nasty – because he wants to “win an argument” or it clashes with his self serving agenda etc.

I agree that Winston has not been a deliverer to date, but then unless he resorts to dishonest practices so common with the left, no minor party gets to deliver, unless that delivery is more tyranny.

      • One or the other, Seymour or Peters,. should play the game for New Zealander’s sake.!

Seymour opened the door about making it so the public could have input to expand & widen the focus by what questions should be put in on the Royal Commission of Covid Inquiry.

Peters has changed his mandatory view on the Covid vaxx, by wanting to to also expand the Covid Inquiry.

        Just get on with it!
Between the 2 of them they can get things done, finding ways how to override Luxon, while having fun batting the media, upsetting the public health system, knocking out the binding WHO Global Pandemic Treaty.

It is all win/win for them! An opportunity to seize with both hands.
Time is of Essence, Get it Done!
ACT & make NZ First should clean up, as this is one area to gut National & gain more votes.
Anything else, then it is the public that loses, and that wrath at those 2 failures, should do them in, as we should could quite rightly hang them separately.

        5

        0

        • I think you will find that Winston is prepared to play ball, otherwise he would not have allowed Casey Costello and others in his party.

Seymour needs to face his fear and those that are yanking his chain, because as every day goes by, he sinks further into the quick sand of denial.

        • Agreed Dylan:—
And they should stop poking sticks at the bear, or dwarf; that can be found in each other.

The game to play is bigger than either of them, & will take both of them to battle it, noting their different strengths & shocking weakness’s.

Difficult to vote for either one of them, but oiled up to tick one of the rats.
Now do the jobs you promised to do ! & stop the grand standing.
If you do the job, then kudos/votes will come your way,

      • Well written DH.

I said here weeks if not months ago Seymour has crossed the line.
This can often occur where isolated in parliament for too long. He does not have kids and wife, so not mixing at schools events and getting ‘the vibe’
He is largely in a political vacuum and has been for 9 years now.

A reason I am a fan of term limits for all. 18 years or even fifteen years tops as a a paid person as MP or on Council. Combined.
There is pretty much no case of a person being in politics for along time where they get better .

I wonder about Brooke van Veldenberg as well.
She was, as the yanks say, super-hyped, to support Ukraine whereas despite the rhetoric (crap out of England that was transported to NZ ) Russia has not done us any harm.
Sure we got some crappy Ladas but Russians are far less Duplicitous than the English or US Swamp.

I hold a watching brief on Brooke Van and do not expect her to turn out much different to Seymour.
To that end, any good MPs in ACT will be stifled.
I suspect the two Maori Women MPs, Chhour and McKee have strong ethics and good family values but will not get far in the globalist ideology Seymour and (former?) Green, Van Veldenberg, hold.

            I despise C M Luxon.
            I cannot see that changing.

I would like to be wrong here but he is very readable .
Compare and contrast to say Boris Johnson. He could charge down any path, at any hour of any given day.

            Kluxon is more WYSIWYG.
He is in a self imposed emotional straight jacket.
            Not unusual for evangelicals,
This makes it near impossible to entertain ideas from anywhere outside his safe zone.
He will stay close to an inner circle.

Electorate notional MPs who have good ideas will be disappointed.
His mind fuel will come from outside parliament grounds and largely from overseas.

    Is it a start ? 🙂
The point is to look at more of covid, the vaxxes & the increased number of deaths.

Do love a part of that Maori sentence, how all the previous Parliamentarians are banned from office.

Not perfect; but picks up more than enough issues & points, that many of us are aware of. 🙂

  7. The maggot Peter’s had better not try his fucking around games as he’s done before, the people of this country aren’t going to stand for his bullshit this time as they watch the place turning into a racist 3rd world shithole where the most unproductive citizens both native and others are about to inherit the the hard work and dedication of the majority of New Zealanders of all races.
Fuck the smirking shirking little dwarf cnut and his fat bloated pompous 2nd in charge ,flabby faced Jones.

      • Kea, It’s unbelievable that so many people on YSB are fanboys of the dishonorable maggot Peter’s, I’m fairly sure their wasn’t this many before the election, I guess it’s just human nature and weakness to want to be on the winning team after the event.
Kea , at least you were supportive of him and didn’t have to change camps because your chosen savior only got 1% of the vote., Peters will disappoint its just a matter of how long it takes I guess.

        • Revy the Winston haters are often right in the things they say. Though I can’t fathom why he gets them so worked up against such stiff competition. For me it was a last minute change to vote NZF.

The role Winston plays is to mess with others peoples shit and we need that given a National majority government. He also sticks it to the media.

          • KEA, Watch for his backpeddling it’s as sure as night follows day ,he’ll shut his fricking mouth now for 3 years about Maori issues and cracking down on gangs , the POS will demand his position in cabinet and prepare his luggage for overseas travel , I’ll bet the prick is away on government business before Xmas if they can manage to please him enough to form an administration.
Peter’s voters are self harming suckers IMHO.

  10. Something has happened at Stuff. Perhaps after 23 years someone got nostalgic for journalism but in today’s edition there’s an excellent article questioning what we actually expect from Oranga Tamariki.

……”“Hands off our tamariki.” Remember those four words? They were etched onto placards and petitions in 2019, when thousands took a stand against Oranga Tamariki’s practice of “uplifting” children.”……..

Maori were going ballistic about kids being removed from their parents. As ever, instead of everyone settling down & reaching consensus, the pendulum takes a seismic swing the other way & welfare officers are forced to leave kids to suffer & die.

……”So, which is it? As a country, what do we actually want? Do we want families to be left to their own devices, with minimal intervention from the state? Or do we want a child protection agency that actively intervenes in at-risk families – sometimes at the expense of their privacy, independence and mana? That’s the conversation we need to have.”…….

    • I still don’t believe it. I’m going to read the article again. Did this guy ( he’s gay) slip the article past the subby? Or does his gayness give him a free pass? Or are we at a stage where woke journalism just cannot generate any more excuses? Or maybe they want to curry favour with the new government in a vain hope of more funding?

  11. There’s a man in a pub with a large dog. Another man comes in and orders a pint and while he’s waiting for it he says to the first man,
“Mind if I pet your dog?”
To which the first man replies, “Not at all. My dog is as gentle as a lamb.”
So the second man goes to pet the dog, which immediately barks angrily and bites him.
The second man said to the first, “You just said your dog was as gentle as a lamb!”
The first man replies, “Yes I did, but this isn’t my dog.”

    • Every time I weaken momentarily and take a look at the front page of outlets like Stuff or Newshub, they’re full of the most appalling rubbish. It’s all regurgitated click-bait and bullshit. One story yesterday consisted entirely of the “reporter” scrolling through a Reddit feed and copying a bunch of moaning comments about how hard it is to pay off a mortgage. What the fuck? And then they wonder why nobody watches/reads them anymore.

    https://www.1news.co.nz/2023/11/06/divisive-and-unhelpful-luxon-on-acts-treaty-referendum-proposal/
ACT’s proposed Treaty referendum would be “divisive and unhelpful”, National leader Christopher Luxon said.

“We’re going to make sure we deliver and run a government for everybody, we know that there is a lot of work to deliver better outcomes for Māori – the way in which we deliver that will be different from the previous government, but the bottom line is that we need to get going, we need to get into that quickly.”

  18. So if this pink haired land whale wins her case the taxpayer gets shafted again because of her hurt feelings. I don’t condone serious threats against anyone but being called a few names should be expected in the role she chose for herself. We all remember her flouting her own recommendations. I do hope she loses but knowing how woke our legal system has become it is not likely.

  20. The haunting sound that Roman soldiers would have heard from their Celtic enemies before battle was produced by the Celtic Carnyx. This ancient wind instrument was used by the Celts during the period from 300 B.C. to 200 A.D.

According to the Greek historian Polybius, the Carnyx was employed in warfare to rouse troops to battle and to strike fear into the hearts of their opponents. Due to its significant height, the instrument’s sounds could carry over the heads of those engaged in battles or ceremonies.

The chief financial officer of the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) said governments could not afford to pay for a wide range of costly development projects required to mitigate and adapt to climate change, as well as other goals for sustainable development.

A recent KPMG report suggested New Zealand would need to invest $6 billion in each of the next seven years just to meet its renewable energy targets in 2030, 2040 and 2050.
