  2. ED, Login is playing up, goes straight to a blank page, it could be this phone ,I never thought I’d say it but I wish I’d got the new I phone instead of this Samsung Galaxy Ultra piece of fricking rubbish.
My old phone was a Samsung note 9 which had been trouble free ,this new phone is bloody rubbish, the only redeeming feature is the camera which is 108 whatever that thingy is .

    • Samsung are usually good phones. I prefer them to my appalling and overpriced i-phone work gives me.

The trouble with modern phones is they are overloaded with way too many useless options which they market as “features”. They typically come with absurd default settings that have to all be disabled. The other issue is they are used as marketing platforms and it is clear the phone buyer is in fact the product. The same disease of junk-tech infests cars and other consumer tech.

Kea has had a guts full and technology is being misused to enslave us.

      • KEA ,The agreement I had to say yes to to get use of my email account was unbelievable, I had to agree to allow Samsung to send emails from my email account, I got a warning from Microsoft that Samsung didn’t have any explanation page at all and to be careful before agreeing to it, WTF ??

    • Speaking of which – Mikey should be over the worst of the detox by now and heading towards some sort of clarity.

By coincidence I decided to stop boozing entirely at the same time, as it just feels better. Even what people consider moderate drinking has a huge impact on our general wellbeing. Most regular drinkers would not know that unless they have stopped entirely for a while to give a comparison.

Booze is actually terrible stuff and far worse than most people understand. That is because it is normalised and because of the slow and subtle way it gets you into trouble.

        • HP ,Me neither but KEA is 100% correct ,I’m not a big drinker but there’s no doubt IMHO that it impedes your performance in damn near everything.
I can honestly say that in the last 10 years I’ve never spent more than a happy hour having a drink and haven’t had any sort of hangover since new years day 2000 yet I feel better if I don’t for a couple of weeks.

          • Revy – that is it. Even a “glass of wine with dinner” is enough to change things. Though most of those ones actually drink a bottle of wine a night (hi girls).

People focus on the fun part, getting pissed, and the hangover. In reality it takes around 2 weeks for your brain to level out after a few. That means if you drink once a week, you never get the full benefit of sobriety.

It is common for people to think they need a drink. Not a potato, not a Fanta, a drink. They think nothing of it, but in fact that is actually the subtle beginning of addiction.

            • Kea, you will find as you get older – and wiser, hopefully you drink a lot less anyway and as Revtech say hangovers become a thing of the past. The last one I had was after a special occasion in England in April 2006 and there had been a long gap before that. I would suppose there are exceptions to this rule if one was a really heavy everyday drinker, probably an alcoholic.

  4. Plan to Control Smart TVs in Australia Likened to Orwell’s 1984
‘They’ve read some of Orwell’s books and taken them too literally,’ Coalition Senator Hollie Hughes said

The Australian Government is planning to legislate a “prominence framework” to control what Australians watch on Smart TVs.
The plan would control which local television services can be easily found on television devices, such as free-to-air television channels ABC and SBS.

Under the proposal, the Smart TVs might show certain free-to-air channels ahead of apps personally chosen by consumers.
Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes, speaking to Sky News on Nov. 6, likened the prominence legislation to those found in George Orwell’s books. Orwell is famous for his novels “1984,” published in 1949, and “Animal Farm,” published in 1945.

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/article/plan-to-control-smart-tvs-in-australia-likened-to-orwells-1984-post-5524493?utm_source=Aomorningbriefnoe&src_src=Aomorningbriefnoe&utm_source=Aomb-2023-11-08&src_cmp=Aomb-2023-11-08&utm_medium=Aoemail&cta_utm_source=Aomorningbriefnoecta&est=5%2BII%2B51FzvSJmcAKm1zrJRRjP14N9epjDNzngj%2BrINFJpi58uWlx3efL6ErRFp8%3D

“Next we’ll start seeing they’ll want a ministry of truth, I think they’ve read some of Orwell’s books and taken them too literally,” she said.
    Control of Information
Ms. Hughes said this government was increasingly trying to “control the flow of information” and determine what people are allowed to listen to and watch.

The senator suggested the Labor and Greens parties are pushing people towards left-wing information.

    The bitch tried I’m sure.

I would suggest that this has absolutely NOTHING to do with ‘generosity’ and the offering of assistance to Massey uni’ , but EVERYTHING to do with ‘One-upmanship’ and status within Ngapuhi itself.

Hapu ‘self-interest’ above all seems to be the way that particular tribe works and perhaps explains why there is still no unified approach to the ToW claims.

  6. An echo chamber in the NZ systemic education will buy into this.
Honestly, the new way of counting the spoons votes faster.
    .
….. The Pittsburgh Public Schools Board has voted to hire a consulting group that educates teachers on how to replace “White supremacy culture practices” in math instruction with methods that center on the “wellness of students of color.” ….
    .
…. to dismantle racism in math classes. ….
    .
……. “The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false, and teaching it is even much less so,” a document for the “Equitable Math” toolkit reads.
“Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuate objectivity as well as fear of open conflict.” …….

Here in New Zealand plus an extra feathered huia coat of paint of maori by maori for maori. Never mind the poor huia.

This also goes along way in making sense of some of the cursed Aotearoa-rian politics, which may actually be among the mathematically first in pulling up their canoes in finding the square , fern root, √ in that geographical mystical cloud.

The last 6 years have destroyed a country that was already on a knife edge financially and culturally, bit by bit the dishonorable 120 have taken our rights and are about to start taking our dollars in greater amounts with taxes both central and local ,$140.00 is what we are paying a week for rates not including water, our biggest regret is not getting the fuck outta the place when we had the chance..

    • revtech120:– I have also found it is a lot more trickier to take some links from some other countries blogs, like Utube.
At this stage, a bit of time & work, I can work around it.
That problem makes one well aware that other newsworthy issues, that I may or use to find casually, are either blocked or shadow banned. In part if you have the correct link one can get it, but for how much longer, but it is frustrating knowing it is gone when 404 shows up.

In this vein, very important info to the general public, on very important life & death issues

It’s time to be on red alert. Substandard medical publications were used to push and promote narratives and squash other narratives.
AND NOW those publications are being silently deleted.
Hundreds of medical journals are disappearing, and no one is talking about it!

  9. Well I did it. I went to CNN online. Well fuck me there’s nothing on their front page about their “journalist” embedded with Hamas during the massacre. Recent pictures show him with a grenade going off with them to kill Israelis. I trust the Mossad has a solution for him and CNN.

    • PAO Just reading up on it, as it those Reuters, AP, CNN, New York Times, seemed to be imbedded in that 7/10 Hamas attack.
      .
…Interestingly, the names of the photographers, which appear on other sources, have been removed from some of the photos on AP’s database.
Perhaps someone at the agency realized it posed serious questions regarding their journalistic ethics. ……
      .
….. Even if they didn’t know the exact details of what was going to happen, once it unfolded did they not realize they were breaching a border?
And if so, did they notify the news agencies?
Some sort of communication was undoubtedly necessary — before, after or during the attack — in order to get the photos published. …

      https://honestreporting.com/photographers-without-borders-ap-reuters-pictures-of-hamas-atrocities-raise-ethical-questions/
      .
So was it a “hold the press” moment to include these journalists photo shoots.
How did they have the stomach to look at those brutal bloody photos.
      .
So the media are if it bleeds it leads, so they can not deny that journalists breached that border.

    • The first casualty when war comes is truth !
      ————
      You don’t really know what is going on; just as you know you were misinformed by MSM over Ukraine -Russia;
why would this be any different.

you can surmise of what is happening but to take sides is to succumb to the bias fed to you over a lifetime.

      The Spanish Flu.
Was From Kansas in USA. Taken to Europe by US soldiers.
Both warring sides were badly affected by it.
      No-one wanted to admit it.
When it reached Neutral Spain it was declared. After going from US to France, Germany, England et al

This is what happens in war.
truth is shot to shit as well as young people.
Be angry about war, not about the people you think may be at fault. It is generally not them.

  10. We know how the system pigeon-holes you.
Just a brief understanding why the systemic Identity, is defined, and as we know is then used for deviancy.

Identity: A Translation from the Wokish | James Lindsay
    https://youtu.be/M-N7clYvtoM
    2 mins 24 secs : April 13th, 2022 : New Discourses : James Lindsay.

James Lindsay explains what Critical Social Justice activists mean when they use the term “Identity.”

Another form of “Mass psychosis” that once primed by the academia, & then pumped by the media, so that in a way we also have been tainted if not swallowed some of that “kool-aid”

It is how they use that, to weigh up or dismiss you, whether you are valid to speak about issues, or should be shut down.
The fun for us in knowing this, is seeing how they try & pigeon Candace Owens, Thomas Sowell, who simply call them out.

“It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data.
Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts”. Sherlock Holmes

A man has been charged with murdering an Ellerslie couple following the discovery of a woman’s body in north Auckland overnight.

The investigation opened after Fuk-Fu Joseph Kwok, 66, was found dead by a family member at their Ellerslie property on Monday evening.

Detective Inspector Scott Beard said this morning the man’s wife Mei Han Chong has now been found dead in Greenhithe, about 30kms away, overnight.

“This Glenfield man, who we believe to be involved, was identified and located by detectives in Hamilton late last night, and has now been charged with two counts of murder.

“The 42-year-old male is due to appear in the Auckland District Court this morning.”

    • And this is how useless the NZ cops are.
4 days ago the deceased women was a suspect.

I wonder if these clown car cops checked the car boot in the first 3 days ?
They did not in the Baby Pumpkin case

      In that case in 2007
…New Zealand police were criticised for “bungling” the investigation, including failure to discover Liu’s body in the Honda for at least two days, and slow response to issue a warrant for the arrest of Xue, allowing him to disappear in the US….

Never mind the local US Chinese community captured martial arts expert Xue.
      —————
Wiki:- On Thursday 28 February 2008, a group of six people living in an apartment block in Chamblee, near Atlanta, Georgia recognised Xue from a photograph in the Chinese-language press. They attempted to inform the police but had difficulty in making themselves understood. In frustration, they captured him themselves.[19] They removed his pants and tied them around his legs. They used his belt to tie his hands behind his back until police arrived to arrest him
      ———————–
The NZ coppies would arrest the six good men for assault.

there are very few safe arrests by NZ keystone cops for murder. unless caught red handed.
      Even then, question it.
They believe women do not commit murder so never arrest them unless under duress.
      A bit old fashioned
They would have arrested Fred West and allowed Rosemary West to walk free

When the Australian Federal Police – who are professional – sent a message to NZ about Ministry of Transport fraudster Joanne Harrison it was ignored.

But the NZ coppies got pissy about the attitude of LA cops. I found the LA cops to be smart and efficient.
In the Pumpkin Patch baby case…
Wiki…However, the LAPD claimed they did not receive an arrest warrant from Interpol and that they required a warrant directly from New Zealand

But when it comes to starting a riot among peaceful protesters on parliament grounds they are A-OK.
Let he without uniform throw the first rock !!

  13. What may be figured in the data that is flowing across the Insurance Industry actuaries.
    It covers many good points.

…. “I would agree that it is not their job to do this, so the rest of us will,” he said.
The way forward is “simply to ask if there were any other events preceding and during those massive spikes that could explain the rises.
I can find no other rational explanation than the roll-out of vaccine mandates as the cause.” ….

The total numbers will be what the actuaries will be looking at, even if there is a blurring of other causes of deaths, even if coroners can determine “unknown but natural course of death”
Others will be looking at how they may link up.
The beginnings of “following the money”, will show eventually reveal that many more questions need to be asked eventually.

    • Drilling wells in Africa is all well and good (pardon the pun), but:
      – With the aquafer support the well?
      – Will the well-users be able to maintain the well?
      – Will the water induce a population increase and subsequent starvation
      – Can the local population sustain their health and welfare with the new well, or will the well lead to trouble in the future (for example, jealous neighboring villagers coming and stealing water?

It has been shown time and time again that merely giving money to a poor person (particularly when their poverty is due to poor life choices) will often wreck their life.

One of the passages had three Te Reo words in it, only one was translated in the glossary. This is a fucking abomination. Its a fucking ENGLISH exam, not a Te Reo/Pigeon English exam. Someone needs to tell these fuckers that An English Exam tests the student’s understanding of ENGLISH. Badly written, full of error, Te Reo exams can test students understanding of that language.

LPG customers in for shock as Genesis Energy ups prices by 30 pct

Genesis Energy has told customers it’s upping the price by up to 30 percent, citing inflation and rising wholesale costs.

    It’s increasing from $114 per bottle to $149 – that’s a roughly 30 percent increase.

There are about 300,000 LPG customers across New Zealand, and about 270,000 natural gas customers connected to the grid, so that’s nearly 600,000 all up – roughly the population of Canterbury.
