  1. There’s a good movie on Netflix ( for once) ‘all quiet on the Western front’ if you’ve got Netflix and haven’t seen it have a look ,My Mrs signed up for Netflix because Disney is such crap and I’ve gotta say they are both equally bad c grade rubbish.

    • But but but Netflix is better than TV1, TV2,TV3, and all the others, we watch mindless rubbish at times to put our brains into sleep revtech120 But I do have to say that Netflix is no where as bad as Disney.

    • I moved to amazon Prime a bit over 6 months ago and have watched more on that than years with netflix.
      The choices are massively more.
      More movies and watchable movies.
netflix would announce a new movie and voila ….it would be a 1993 movie they took off circulation a year ago and reintroduced.

-more series on amazon whereas I cant recall any from netflix I would ever recommend. a lot of the junk on netflix was like Season 3 and 4 whereas most teevee series are best in Season 1 and 2 where writing is fresh.
-docos – I never finished one on netflix. they were biased shit. Better on youtube .

Amazon Prime $8 a month and massively superior to netflix

With Prime: I would have to say I was more than disappointed with the Yellowstone chappies’ output for derivative yellowstone series = 1923 and 1883. These were shockers.
1923 billed Harrison Ford and he was barely in it; and when he was he was a decrepit old geezer. I guess Calista kicks him put of the house instead of him being allowed to sit in his rocking chair where he should be.
1883 appears to have a lot of fake reviews. Even Sam Elliot could not save it .

The joke of recent times is that you spend more time looking for something to watch on netflix that actually watching something. I would say by 2021 that was true .

I would not even consider Disney. You would be going to Detox every other week to sweat out the Woke.

  2. Berlin was seized by Russians who committed millions of rapes even on little girls. There was a clip on youtube of an old Russian solider describing what a group of Russian men did to a little German girl. The killed her when they had finished. It has been removed now by the censors of truth.

The atrocities committed by the allies and their Russian friends are horrific. The Germans were generally far more honourable.

    2

    8

    • Really? You are talking about after WWII. Yes they did for a period of time – the germans had been out it for 6 years.
From recorded conversations between German Prisoners .

“Müller: “When I was in Kharkov (in present-day Ukraine ), everything was destroyed except the center of the city. A wonderful city, a wonderful memory. All the people there spoke a little German, which they had learned in school. And in Taganrog (in Russia ) there were wonderful cinemas and wonderful beach cafés. I went everywhere in a truck. And all you saw were women doing compulsory labor.”
      Fausst: “Oh, my God!”
Müller: “They were building roads, drop-dead gorgeous girls. So we drove by, pulled them into the truck, screwed them and them threw them out again. Boy, they sure cursed at us.”

While accounts of mass rape provoked at most a mild rebuke from their conversation partners, a number of soldiers clearly still felt that the sexual violence at times reached a limit which should be respected, even in the locker-room environment of the POW camp.
      Sadistic Sexual Violence
The material contains a series of descriptions of acts of sexual violence so sadistic that modern-day readers would find them difficult to bear. As a rule, they are told in the third person, a tactic that the teller uses to distance himself from the story he is telling. Sometimes he also makes it clear that what he saw or heard disgusts him.

Reimbold: “In the first officers’ prison camp where I was being kept here, there was a really stupid guy from Frankfurt , a young lieutenant, a young upstart. There were eight of us sitting around a table and talking about Russia . And he said: ‘Oh, we caught this female spy who had been running around in the neighborhood. First we hit her in the tits with a stick and then we beat her rear end with a bare bayonet. Then we fucked her, and then we threw her outside and shot at her. When she was lying there on her back, we threw grenades at her. Every time one of them landed near her body, she screamed.’ And just think, there were eight German officers sitting at that table with me, and they all broke out laughing. I couldn’t stand it anymore, so I got up and said: Gentlemen, this is too much.”

      • All armies do it. But nothing compares to what happened in Germany. You are clearly a “denier” and side with evil.

The war began because German was being destroyed and conditions were terrible for ordinary people. We sided with the USSR the most evil totalitarian government in human history which spread all through Europe, Central Asia and around the world.

We have nothing to be proud of. You are like those Hamas supporters who reckon they were justified raping women and kids so brutally their pelvises broke. Sort your head out.

        1

        10

        • Kea “We sided with the USSR” didn’t the Nobel Nazis sign an agreement with the Russians to not attack each other and divide up the countries between them equally,? if that’s not siding with the Russians I’m no sure what would be.
Seriously is the skinny toothless meth freak prostitute visiting again for the weekend??LOL.

          • I am well aware of the 80 year old war propaganda you meat puppets are programmed to repeat.

Any comment on the historical fact of the atrocities committed against German women – or is the brutal rape and murder of wee girls something you are ok with in principle ?

            2

            5

            • You’re 100% correct Kea. The amount of propaganda stuffed down our throats since 1945 to justify what was done then and how the world is since is so immense that most of those indoctrinated by it are completely unaware. I suspect that many on this site consider themselves to be “redpilled” but if they don’t understand WW2 and its aftermath, they are still swallowing bluepills by the handful.

          • Why did the Allies only declare war on Germany after they invaded Poland, but they allied with the Soviets who invaded Poland at the same time as the Germans and annexed half of Poland? Because the Allies wanted a war with Germany, but didn’t want one with the USSR. Like any war, WW2 had zero to do with morality and everything to do with competing interests.

            4

            1

            • Alternatively by the time they allied with Russia the UK desperately needed something to distract Germany while they tried to drag the USA into the conflict they were due to lose.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

              3

              0

              • If Germany’s crime that led to Britain and France declaring war on Germany was invading Poland, then you’d think that the Allies would have been just as keen to declare war on Stalin when he invaded Poland from the East at the same time as Hitler. Maybe one of the main reasons for the obvious double-standard was because the Nazis were antisemitic while the Soviet Union and each of Britain, France, and the US all had a strong Jewish influence. The Jews could benefit from both capitalism and communism, whereas Hitler’s great crime was rejecting both of them as being fundamentally Jewish, and instead did what was best for Germany. That made him a pariah.

                1

                0

                • You have a valid argument but I still think WW2 was inevitable in that WW1 had not settled the territorial ambitions of the European nationalists.

What I do know is that Jews held & still hold enormous influence in banking circles & war is very expensive. Nations win, nations lose but financiers prosper regardless.

    • Kea ,To be fair the Russians probably had more reasons than any other country to dispense revenge considering Hitlers attempted military takeover of that country where inhuman scorched earth policies were carried out by both armies, with the loss of around 20 million Russians if my memory serves me right.

      • Thats true and remember that the French had two goes, the poms had a goi in Crimea and the Germans who aided and abetted both the frogs and the poms had 2 goes.

Is it any wonder that after all that the Russians were pissed off and retaliated, especially as there population had been decimated by those wars that were not of their making.

Boil it all down and it was Catholics versus the Russian Orthodox Church and the same with Greece, but in their case its Catholics versus the Greek Orthodox Church.

Many of the countries that make up today’s EU are Catholic. Many are now having trouble with their Muslim brotherhood (which is an offshoot of the Catholics as are the Anglicans),
Large sections of the USA military complex and banking are also Catholic and so are happy with wars at the taxpayers expense. ( which is why they don’t want Trump)
Russia is still much Christian and Muslim in the east.
Russia has, until they retaliated after WW2, never ventured far from its borders except in its own defence..
They had their own war to fight internally with the communists. Gorbachov and Puttin have shifted Russia away from that horrible legacy.
Can’t say that for Germany, France and the USA who seem to want to continue with that theme.

        Karma is a bitch

        • Western Europe is largely divided as Catholics in the south – Italy, France, Spain and Protestants in the north from which many of the various branches of the Protestants churches originated.

Russia is across eleven time zones so it has a lot of borders just by definition.
It expanded east to control the territory and the raiders from the east.
The USA has been fighting a hot war – a surrogate war- for nearly 2 years now against Russia so it never ends – with a new cold war from 2014.

Where Victoria Nuland goes, trouble manifests.
War- hound Nikki Haley probably envies her.
Good to see the Indians slug it out the other night- Vivek vs Nikki
          You are scum- ha ha

The German people are an odd lot. The riff raff are not war-ike but they are obedient and either elect or have aggressive leaders foisted upon them. So they follow a call to arms.
They do have the scum rise to the top. Recent example being Merkel and Von der leyen

      • So Revy reckons it is ok because they had good reasons, but gets all fake-outraged over a drug slut regretting her night out.

Good to see you understand 20 million Russians died. Many in concentration and work camps that made the Jews look lucky. Totally forgotten about now by most people as they think the only victims were Jews. Note that Russia had the biggest Jewish population in the world then, so of course many died, as did the non Jews. Being Russian and Jewish was the perfect storm.

        1

        3

            • Without the Nazis, it would be very hard to openly demonise and dehumanise white people and tell them that they need to let the 3rd world come to their countries and must hand over the reins to non-white people, and never criticise Jews while they’re at it. No wonder the concepts of “racism” or “denial” or “antisemitism” are so crucial to keep white people under control.

              2

              0

        • “Totally forgotten about now by most people as they think the only victims were Jews.”

The main reason we never hear about the atrocities of the Soviets is because, especially in the 20s and 30s when they were the most egregious, those atrocities were overseen and committed by disproportionately Jewish Bolsheviks. Thus, these atrocities, even worse in scale, don’t help the Jewish victim narrative, but threaten it. So it never gets much mention.

The Soviets had concentration camps for decades, yet you don’t hear about them so much because they likely had a Hebrew managing them.

          2

          0

          • Somebody has been reading history and thinking rationally ^

The current Marxist left destroying the West came from Soviet Jews. The monster they created latter turned on them in the USSR, just as the left is doing now over the Gaza thing.

Incidentally about the number of non Jews were killed in concentration camps and “official” Jewish holocaust story tellers don’t dispute it – though it is seldom mentioned. The Japanese holocaust in Asia killed about 10 million. They were especially cruel.

All suppressed to further bolster the holocaust story in order to support Jewish interests in 2023.

                  • The political orthodoxy makes it essential to avoid mentioning the various war crimes committed by the Allies against Germany and German civilians, because pointing them out undermines the narrative that the Germans were 100% to blame for the conflict and made up 0% of the victims. When there is only black and white and no nuance, this is a clear sign of propaganda.

  3. A Canadian Rembrance Day Song.

Terry Kelly – A Pittance of Time (Official Version)
    https://youtu.be/2kX_3y3u5Uo
    5 minutes 08 sec : Feb 11th, 2008 :

On November 11, 1999 Terry Kelly was in a drug store in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
At 10:55 AM an announcement came over the stores PA asking customers who would still be on the premises at 11:00 AM to give two minutes of silence in respect to the veterans who have sacrificed so much for us.

Terry was impressed with the stores leadership role in adopting the Legions two minutes of silence initiative.
He felt that the stores contribution of educating the public to the importance of remembering was commendable.

    • All very cute to talk about Remembrance and refer to 11th hour and all that in Reference to the so-called Great War when in fact the drums of war are being drummed pretty hard; and misinformation is at overload levels to start a war against Syria and Iran.

This is similar to 1990 when the US was gaslighting its people to hate on Iraqis when most yanks could not find Iraq on a map at that time. No google maps.
Similar to Vietnam 30 years earlier.

While there is a US deep state war will never end.

      9

      0

        • OK so why should US, Russia, France, Israel, UK, North Korea, Pakistan, India, China and whomever else have nuclear arms,
          but not Iran ?

          All or nothing.
          Sounds like selective morality,

Which country has Iran invaded in the last 25 years?

          The US warmongers have invaded Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan (looking for a Saudi millionaire in a cave, we are told ) and bombed civilians in Pakistan Somalia and Yemen and probably many other countries;
          and interfered in elections of more than 30 countries;
          done unsanctioned medical experiments on people in Africa and other places – eg. Labs in Ukraine;
exercised a coup in Ukraine to start a war to try to break Russia
          but… but….but…
          USA has GREATER morality
and the right to bear nuclear arms
          …whereas Iran does not.

US is the only county to use nuclear weapons against civilians, or anyone in fact.
So Iran funds insurgents in the Middle east. One might call them terr//ori..sts but then the world’s biggest are the CIA
US funded insurgents in the middle east to try to break Syria..is that OK in your book coz, why, they are white hats as per CNN, and NBC propaganda channels ?

US created a coup in Iran in 1953 in order to control their oil reserves but is more moral than Iran

You have some pretty fucked up views, fella
Or you get sucked in by MSM hype and horseshit.

          3

          1

          • good analysis.
The big reason USA has the world biggest GDP is the armaments industry.

Of course if it wasn’t there it would be somewhere else. The difference being the number of taxpayers and the access unrestrained to the minerals and oil etc to make the armaments.

            4

            0

          • Howitis, look at the maps of of US military bases in the middle East ,there’s barely a 150 km separating them and half of them are illegal occupations, they’ve got dozens of them there and hundreds of them worldwide FFS.
No wonder every single American taxpayer owes $257,000.

            6

            0

          • Iran is the “enemy of the West” simply because they wont bow to the Judeo-Americans. If you notice patterns, that is the obvious pattern as to who is and who isn’t “our” enemy. Iran having a nuclear program can only make the Middle East safer, because it would keep the region’s principal antagonist, Israel, in check.

            3

            2

            • America’s enemies are decided by the Jewish lobby. There are no exceptions I can think of. Obama restarted the cold war with Russia as Israel didn’t like them getting along with Iran. The USA hates on North Korea as Israel is worried they will sell nukes to Iran.

All the Middle Eastern and North African countries the USA has destroyed were done to please the Jews. Creating the worst refugee crisis in history. That is causing mass immigration to the West… to please Jewish leftists.

              4

              0

              • No US politician can have a career if they don’t back Israel 100%, even Trump, whose biggest donor was the late Sheldon Adelson. That’s why they are all Zionists in public. Even the ones who don’t like AOC and Omar at least hate white Americans and want an open US border, which is an acceptable substitute.

The US is also fighting a proxy war against Russia in Ukraine, at least in part, because of the historical enmity of the Jewish people towards Christian Russians. Russia backs Syria and Iran, both of whom are enemies of Israel. China backs Iran too. Unlimited funds and unconditional support and military guarantees to both Israel and Ukraine. These things are all connected.

  4. What an arrogant bunch of arseholes that inhabit One Canoe and their associated Maori organisation, something called “Te Mātāwai” for which obviously sucks on the public tit but achieves, I would submit, fuck all of anything that is of any benefit to New Zealanders as a whole..

But even more arrogant is someone who calls themselves a “co-chair”, a Maori woman by the name of Reikura Kahi, daughter of serial trougher, Tuku Morgan who seems to have enormous sway in both of these organisations.

The arrogance to dismiss peoples concerns by unelected and elected officials in this country is breathtaking. The sooner the revolution comes, the better.

    https://www.1news.co.nz/2023/11/09/bilingual-road-sign-proposal-targeted-by-right-wing-lobby-group/

And if you are wondering what “Tē Mātāwai” is, here is the Government’s website on it. Check it out, you will be none the wiser on what it does. But do look at the arrogance of Maori in this 1News article above. The smearing of a concerned organisation who got people motivated to oppose NZTA’s plans, calling them “Right Wing” is standard from Government Departments who should be there to look after and benefit all New Zealanders, however, it seems pushing their own agenda is of greater importance than the welfare and concerns of the wider community.

I hope to see the Revolution in my lifetime, and that the wall well used, but as time goes by, younger people seem to accept “Troughing” as displayed by Tuku, Tamihere, Jackson, Dame Naida Glavish, Anne Tolley, Spud Bolger, as common, normal behaviour, so I guess my hope of the Revolution coming, is rapidly fading.

  5. Police have made a second arrest in relation to the killings of Ellerslie couple Fuk-Fu Joseph Kwok and Mei Han Chong in Auckland last Sunday.

A 26-year-old man was arrested by police at a Glenfield home in northwest Auckland on Friday evening, police said.

Police looked through hours of camera footage looking for the car. The number plates had been changed but they found it and then the ladies body down the bank.

Rather sad that some here criticise their efforts as they have been doing.
seems those people have no idea what is needed to solve these cases.

Those original ones were mostly plods whereas now days they employ very technical people and have the use of hundreds of camera’s.
        Credit where credit is due.

We need to bring our court system up to date and stop this adversrial contest and paying KC’s etc to defend bad people. and go look for all the truth just not what each side wants to tell.

A UK couple died from carbon monoxide poisoning while on holiday at a luxury resort in Egypt after the room next door was sprayed with pesticide to kill bed bugs, a coroner has found.

John and Susan Cooper were staying at the Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hotel in the Red Sea resort of Hurghada in August 2018, when the room next to theirs was fumigated with a pesticide, ‘Lambda’, for a bug infestation, the UK’s PA Media reported. In some countries, Lambda is diluted with the substance dichloromethane, which causes the body to metabolise or ingest carbon monoxide.

The fumigated room, which was sealed with masking tape around the door, was connected to theirs with an adjoining door, according to PA. The married couple returned to their room for the night but were found seriously ill the next day by their daughter.

John Cooper, 69, was declared dead in the room, while his wife Susan, 63, died hours later in hospital.

“Anatomic coronary artery disease is highly prevalent in adults and it may be a bystander and not the direct cause of the arrhythmic cardiac arrest. Di Michele et al reported that small micro RNA fragments that are known to regulate genes, and in this circumstance, genes that control cardiac ion channels, do vary up or down in blood and cardiac tissue and help distinguish between a coronary event and a primary arrhythmic event.

At this time it is possible that mRNA and adenoviral DNA vaccines could influence key miRNA’s in the causal pathway to a primary arrhythmic cardiac death in the absence of clinical myocarditis. So if you are involved in a circumstance with a family member or friend with an unexpected cardiac arrest, please push for the fullest autopsy possible. You will only have one shot.”

    • Very good point rol
      “the fullest autopsy possible”

….. Before 1970, approximately 40% to 60% of all hospital deaths in the United States ended in autopsy; in more recent years that number has decreased to below 5%. [1, 2]
Worldwide autopsy rates have declined steadily since the 1950s—and there is no evidence to suggest that the trend will change. [3, 4] …..

      https://emedicine.medscape.com/article/1705948-overview?form=fpf

It would seem to be a savings of costs, but it also seemed to hide the independent weighing up of causes of death.

……. Autopsy is not overly costly, but using it sparingly is a good way to save resources [12-14]. The procedure is not always pleasant, both for the pathologist and family of the deceased.
Many families decline the procedure, or at least physicians perceive they will, for personal, cultural or spiritual reasons [12,13,15-17].
From the clinician’s perspective, any autopsy will either confirm what they already knew or prove them wrong and potentially harm their relationship with the patient’s family or even lead to legal conflict [7,12,14,15]. …..

      https://austinpublishinggroup.com/clinical-pathology/fulltext/ajcp-v2-id1024.php

The key part is the pathologist and what & where they are looking for. To take the necessary samples to make the microscope slides.
That can be sent around the world to any well qualified independent pathologist, specialist to make detailed studies.
Surely this is a responsibility of a phase 3 experimental medical trial, & even more so under an EUA Emergency Use Approval. !
To not to do this as a duty of care, is negligence, and becomes malfeasance when ignored.

In this day & age where a number of countries like NZ expanded the Coroner’s legislation in 2022, with a number of “kindly” reasons, for the family, for the culture. to save time, … etc..

….. The Bill clarifies that coroners can record a cause of death as unascertained natural causes if the coroner considers that the death is from natural causes and no further investigation is required under the principal Act. ….
      https://disclosure.legislation.govt.nz/bill/government/2022/157/

As we joke, the Doctors bury their mistakes, but that legislation by the government seems to be burying some of its major mistakes.

    • It is that some links, that is even some of my links, will not break to fit in.
Even some large links will automatically break themselves, but others will not.
Nothing to do with setting up phones or screens !

Sure I can reduce or increase the zoom to read it, but the inherent effect is the lazy unaware commentators who post those long unbreakable links, & will not do a “tiny url”.
Or do the alternative;- sometimes I just break my comment down into shorter “paragraph” lines so that part will fit other peoples screens & only the link runs off screen which still works if people are interested to click on it.

Now some of you know, as some say above, happy to help. 🙂

  11. A drug policy expert says New Zealand is now so “awash” with methamphetamine a ban on over-the-counter cold medicines containing the precursor ingredient pseudoephedrine is largely “redundant” in stemming the country’s supply.

The Act Party has proposed to overturn the policy saying it deprives people of effective medicine for no benefit and has the support of National, meaning it has a good chance of becoming a reality in the near future.

Pharmacists, meanwhile, say while pseudoephedrine is an effective decongestant they are wary about any change, given they were regularly targeted in burglaries and ram raid-style robberies prior to the 2011 ban.
The policy was brought in by then-Prime Minister John Key to reclassify pseudoephedrine as a controlled class B drug.

Key argued New Zealand was in a crisis due to “P” consumption, which at the time was largely being cooked domestically, often using pseudophedrine extracted from medicines obtained legally through pharmacies.

The policy was also intended to end the flurry of robberies and ram raids targeting pharmacies at the time.

Initially it appeared to have an impact, as the price of meth stabilised, the number of local clan labs decreased and pharmacy-related crime reduced.

But according to a 2021 police report, within years criminal groups had adapted to the new environment, first importing the medication and then pseudoephedrine in raw form.

International drug cartels also recognised the high demand in New Zealand and the drug started arriving in its pure form. Police and Customs have continued to register record busts ever since.

Over this time the price of meth continued to fall – a key indicator of a decent supply.

According to the Key Government’s baseline indicators report, in 2009 methamphetamine cost between $700 and $1000 a gram.

Adjusted for inflation that’s about $1000 to $1400.

Today, police say it could be purchased for as low as $200 a gram.

Associate Professor Chris Wilkins, leader of Massey University’s drug research team, said the policy not making a difference anymore in terms of meth control.

“We used to talk about busts of 10kgs as being big, now it is 100s and even a tonne of meth.

“Wastewater testing shows usage is not falling and surveys show the cost is lower than it has ever been, usually a good sign the market is awash in meth.”

Wilkins said the policy had “good intentions” but fatigue appeared to have set in.

“We have taken the eye off methamphetamine.”

If the incoming Government did reverse the policy, Wilkins said he hoped more effort would be put into the prevention side of drug policy.

Pharmacist Linda Palmer, of Westmere Pharmacy in Auckland, said she couldn’t recall a pharmacy prior to 2011 that hadn’t been robbed or ram raided by opportunists hunting out pseudoephedrine.

“People would grab it off the shelves and run out with it, and there were ram raids and other crimes associated with it.

“Policing it was very hard. We had to ask for ID, and there clearly many drug seekers and others working for people who cooked it.”

At the time of the ban, it was argued there were alternatives just as effective, such as Sudafen, but recent studies have challenged this.

Palmer said there was a gap in the market for medicines containing pseudoephedrine.

“It is a very effective medicine, and other cold and flu remedies have proven to be ineffective. But I certainly wouldn’t want to go back to those days.”
She said she wondered if many pharmacies would choose to stock the medicines given the risk, and fact there was currently little demand for it as a prescription medicine.

She said there would need to be safety protocols around it, such as a centralised recording system so people couldn’t go “place to place”.

The Pharmacy Guild, which represents pharmacy owners in New Zealand, declined to comment.

Pharmaceutical Society vice-president Michael said the risks and benefits needed to be considered to understand any “potential unintended consequences”.

Pseudoephedrine is available over the counter in the United Kingdom, Canada, parts of the United States and in Australia, where it is pharmacist-only and purchases are recorded in a database in real time.

Act Party leader David Seymour said reversing the ban was not something they were particularly concerned about, rather it was “just one of many regulations we want to get rid of”.

“It’s a good opportunity to illustrate our belief about regulation. This was designed to prevent the manufacture of methamphetamine but clearly there are now many other ways.

“The cost of not being able to access the effective medicine is substantial, while the benefit has clearly not played out.”

National declined to comment, but ahead of the election said it supported the idea. Labour also said it supported the policy change.

Better to set standard and test than do what the god bothered did.
Created a meth problem they can’t fix because they eliminated to better options for most.
Now even Meth makers and dealers get an easy ride to home detention and we have spawned a taxpayer paid for bunch of groups that while they use the funds don’t fix anything.

It remains to be seen if the Nats will support the change. They may have hinted at it but their god bothering controllers won’t be happy.

………”The New Zealand Parliament was alarmed by reports of electoral abuses in Auckland in the 1850s. It decided that electoral laws needed to be tightened, and in 1858 passed a series of reform acts, which defined and prohibited treating, bribery and exercising ‘undue influence’ over electors. Candidates were banned from employing musicians and displaying banners. The placement of committee rooms and polling booths in public hotels was also outlawed.”……

      AND

…….”We went over to the Courthouse for the declaration of the poll. The returning officer was Mr Garland Woon, who was a very dignified old gentleman with a long white beard. And he came out onto the veranda of the Courthouse, and he just began saying ‘ladies and gentlemen, I have to announce the results of the poll for this electorate’ when a very rotten egg took him right in the face … After Mr Ballance was declared elected … the crowd brought his carriage along and put him in the carriage, and started to drag him along Ridgway Street. And from some of the crowd he was pelted with eggs and flour in small paper bags and was very soon smothered in it. Unfortunately one of the people in the street put a stone inside his paper bag and Mr Ballance got rather a bad cut on his face.”……

I’m sorry to disturb your weekend, but I wanted to ask for your help in speaking out against escalating tensions over the Israel-Gaza conflict.

Last week, Member of Parliament Phil Twyford spoke at a rally condemning the violence in the Middle East which has continued since 7 October. In his speech he said,

“I, for one, condemn the violence against civilians by Hamas, but I also condemn the violence against civilians by the Israeli Defence Forces.”

He was booed off stage and had to be escorted away by police as members of the audience followed him, seemingly for condemning the violence of Hamas.”

            • There’d likely be more productive enterprises to invest in if buying property and sitting on it while The System produced appreciation for doing nothing wasn’t the principle investment practice in the country. When you can buy a house, sit on your ass and let the effects of mass immigration and other socially destructive policies make you richer, what incentive is there to invest in anything productive?

              • Oh stop being so optimistic. Its worse than that.

It is all paid with fake debt money in order to manipulate prices upwards by money printing. Then we sell houses to each other at the inflated prices. The profits go to foreign owned banks. It is utter madness.

                6

                2

                • Great isn’t it: the banks pull “money” out of thin air, then the people who borrow it have to spend 20 plus years doing actual work to pay it back. It’s laughable when people moan about slavery in 1800 when this is our system in 2023.

                  5

                  1

                  • Well, you can go earn it and save your money until you have enough to beat the Govt. both local and national that keep adding costs to the development of and construction of said houses. Nothing in the free world stops you doing that except one’s attitude and a propensity to delay the effort and spend too much on toys and entertainment and useless stuff.
In the late 90’s people were bailing and going to Aussie because there was no work here, (good govt. by National), and struggled to sell their houses ,so houses were very affordable. Thats when I bought mine. Lately I have spent a small fortune making good houses better than my own because the free market that is controlled by the govt. forced me to do so.
Its improved the tenant’s accommodation and it seems that some think I should do that for the goodness in my heart. Meanwhile, the miserable pricks that can’t run a business, get highly paid to interfere with mine and decisions that I made 25+ years ago, based on the business law and Tax law at the time.

The other bit that you don’t bother to mention is that in many cases without some real estate for security, banks won’t lend to people.
Are you going to fix that issue so people can invest with a bank’s help without requiring Real Estate as a security.
You want people to invest in productive business yet why would they when the capital they need is not made available to do that but banks willingly lend for housing.

Why would they when our govt’s are so pathetic at running our country that they cannot plan more than 3 years ahead?
If you want an example ook what Labour did to the roads of national significance. Cancelled most and 6 years on we have just restarted that program. That work can be planned out 10 years as councils are required to do for their planning but govt. bloody ignored because politics.
Govt has made no attempt that I am aware of to use our super funds and Kiwisver funds to accelerate that process and most of our super money goes offshore.

Just today a local contractor I am aware of with trucks and diggers etc is dropping most of his staff and going back to working on his own as he has no work. Happening all around the place. No sense of ongoing security or work, all because we have no long-term goals other than political ambitions.
then of course you could look at the use of covenants and town no planning that exacerbate the issue of price.
The you can tell employers where they are going to get the staff they need.
Most businesses are now way more sophisticated than they were 10 years ago.
Drongo’s are not of much use.,yet you want people to invest in productive enterprises and criticise those that drive courier vans and do cleaning and nursing and all the jobs we have no resident whanu that are willing and able to do whilst they stomp around doing shit to the community

Its way more complicated than waving a keyboard around.

A massive canyon with multiple branches cuts the sea floor off eastern Cook Strait. The branches head off in directions defined by rivers of past ice ages (over 20,000 years ago), which dumped sand and mud off Palliser Bay and Wellington Harbour. Ferocious tides carry sediments from western Cook Strait into the canyon.

  21. Outgoing Labour MP Michael Wood said his party was “particularly pulverised” in Auckland in the 2023 General Election, including in his now former Mt Roskill seat that had previously been deemed safe.

Multiple electorates held by Labour in the city were lost, and plenty of vote went National’s way as well.

Reflecting upon the election, Wood, whose ministerial career came to an end before the campaign amid his failure to divest shares in Auckland Airport, told Breakfast this morning that Labour suffered a “devastating result”.

“We’ve obviously been doing a lot of reflection on that… we saw swings of around 20% in many [Auckland] seats, which is almost unprecedented in the MMP era, so we all take that really hard,” he said.

  22. In part we may see it in the inconsistency of the QWERTYU set up that support Hamas, or trying to be kind to Islamic prophet Mohammad, then call them Turkeys for KFC.

Douglas Murray says what others are too scared to admit about Gaza.

…. Douglas Murrey has a heart – and mind – of gold.
And what unfolds in this seven-minute clip is something you need to watch for yourself.
(Once you see it halfway through, you’ll know exactly what I’m referring to.)
But he articulates something which I have been trying to share for the past month:

    The Nazis, as fundamentally evil as they were, believed that they were engaging in a necessary evil for an ultimate good;
    they still had a spark of humanity at their core; thus, their main flaw was that they believed the ends justified the means;
even though they fully believed in the “result” of a world without Jews, they were still fundamentally opposed to the “actions” they were taking.

This is what motivated the Nazis to find ways of circumventing the existential moral decay they were entering, and allowed them to get creative by using the gas chambers, mass shootings (in the BACK of the head –
    — to avoid direct facial contact), and other passive forms of mass annihilation, while also having as few Nazis as possible actually involved in these acts of murder;
they then encouraged those individuals who were involved in this atrocity of mass murder to get drunk every night in order to wash away the person they started seeing in the mirror.

Thus, the existential decay of these individual Nazis actively involved in the mass murder of the Jewish People was simply seen as another layer of “the ends justify the means.”

They were the epitome of “Western” evil.

    Hamas is the exact opposite.

    This IS their value system.

They prize death, murder, rape, suicide missions, and everything that opposes the very foundation of values and truth to begin with.

The events of October 7th was not an end to a means… there is no future goal… this IS the goal.

They are the epitome of an evil the likes of which we have never before seen.

Please – I know this is social media and some people only watch 60-second soundbites; but please, please, please watch this brilliant interview.

Douglas Murray – you are a credit to everything worth being credited.

Thanks Douglas Murray for cutting through what the followers of Mohammad the perfect man, the last & only true prophet; wish to emulate.

    • It is hard to explain, but now Douglas Murray has made the point, and the linkage that many of us do know.
Other times I would try and explain it religious, Islamic terms, but people always accorded their understanding from an atheist, papist, protestant, baptist, hindu bhuddist talmud, goy etc., perspective.
Looking to history & sure there are the cruelties, massacres, civilians, children, genocides, from time immemorial but how does one relate it to recent times.

So a time when a community sheltered a Jew in the attic, as we know of Anne Frank, etc., for example, they were shielding that person from harm and very much risking own lives & family in the process.
To know of the “White Rose Society” in Germany & their sacrifice. The resistance.

Across Europe, from Bataclan to Strasbourg, & Molenbeek Belgium, we’re seeing Muslims being sheltered, able to swim with the other fish, of their community, like in the banlieues, French Sensitive Zones ZUS (Sensitive Urban Area) that are a sense too far, tp quite call them “No Go Areas” but on a number of occasions, a good time can be had to celebrate with Carbques.

Muslims may call the ones they cover misunderstood victims, but they really celebrate them as terrorists.
It is their pious duty of being a good & faithful muslim to cover for them. So in that the community values them and wants to protect them.
That is the major difference to the Jews.
Though many say the Jews were robbing people through the banks etc… really do you believe that?????
Sure the may have made money as Doctors, lawyers, professional people, many were just good tradesmen.
So besides the so called banking harms of just a few elite of the elite Jews, where was the policy for the Jews to kill, terrorise maim, gun people down, ram trucks through pedestrian malls & set of bombs.
Oh… how many times, warning or no warning, does the King David Hotel have to explode?
