  1. Anyone out there this morning? Crikey I don’t usually post a comment first. Think the world is having a heat wave with rain this morning. 17.7 degrees and very humid in the old Hamilton this morning great////////////// All the kids are off school and will be eating like relatives so the supermarkets will be as full as full with parents stocking up.
Be safe today, the roads will possibly be crazy very man and his dog will be out and about .

    • We have had an extended drought here for two days and three hours, but it now has turned to reasonably heavy rain, so I expect NIWA to issue an extreme Climate Change Warning for the Hub of the Universe including the main street of Taumarunui, extending to Morning Tea Break, with changeable conditions and the occasional period of boiling temperatures followed by heavy periods of snow like conditions caused by excessive human activity and cows with flatulence, that is caused by cows that only supply Fonterra Dairy Plants.

The American Doomsayer at NIWA, states the end is nigh and we should all gather our children together for what could, may, possibly or perhaps, be the last Christmas together and if it is not, then maybe, possibly, next Christmas could be possibly the last Christmas together as things are that grim, all caused by the excess of humanity and it’s greed.

In other words Jim, were doomed! I think I will take the Dingo for a walk as I may not be able to navigate the floods and pestilence, predicted to befall us by the experts.

Now here is one to get your tongues wagging – wife staying home and being picked up by another woman. Oh La La.

    • Wednesday will be the day of truth rather AH. We will see if willis has any fucking idea. (answer None.)
We will see how much grunt Winnie and Seymour have against the Nat nazi’s.
We will see how much back sliding goes on and what doesn’t get done and wewill suffer the consequences.
Nude nut will be singing How great we aren’t and the MSM will be having a weeks pondering over the bullshit they don’t understand.
The bureaucrats will have had their say and the ‘you can’t do that’.

i still find it hilarious you thought matt could change anything at all, if winnie and seymour cant then your guy was a bigger pushover and definately wouldve been a cuck.

  3. Respecting Rutherford and Cook

Why Cancel One of New Zealand’s Greatest Scientists?

Why was it necessary to cancel the names of two people so important to our history? Two figurative statues have just been knocked down.

Shortly before this year’s election, MBIE announced [1] the replacement from 2024 of the research excellence-focused Rutherford and James Cook Fellowships with the Aotearoa New Zealand Tāwhia te Mana Research Fellowships, as follows:

    · New Zealand Mana Tapaha Future Leader Fellowship – for early-career researchers looking to build their reputation within their field.

    · New Zealand Mana Tūānuku Research Leader Fellowship – for mid-career researchers making the transition to research leaders.

    · New Zealand Mana Tūārangi Distinguished Researcher Fellowship – for senior researchers to extend beyond their own careers and make contributions that benefit the wider research, science and innovation system.

Because it is apparently a ‘Tourist icon’, this gives the owner a certain ‘Power’ with the obvious solution seeming to be to close it down, wait for the screams of ‘unfairness’ from the locals then negotiate from a position of ‘If you want me back, here are my terms’.

And if they don’t like it, scrap it and simply walk away to enjoy retirement….

A simplistic solution perhaps, but then again.

    • komata, imo if the greedy bros keep up that shit i suggest the owners of the boat as one last fuck you to the bros scrap the boat so the greedy clack bunts dont buy it for a pittance or demand it get gifted to them.

i see this as a way of the bros devaluing the business so they can get their greasy mitts on it, if the jetty thing dosent put them off then you can gaurantee in a few years the lease will increase to unsustainable levels anyway.

      • SB, that is how I see it too, an underhanded way of IWI getting their grubby mitts on the business.

If it was me, I would sell the vessel out of Rotorua and retire leaving all this grief behind and leaving Rotorua without it’s well known tourist attraction. But then I am probably considered a vindictive bastard.

  6. ‘Unintended Immune Response’ in Recipients: Study
The COVID vaccines were fundamentally faulty, revealed researchers, as they reworked the synthetic mRNAs to prevent further harmful responses.

Researchers in a landmark new study have discovered a sequence within the Pfizer mRNA vaccine that produces an “unintended immune response” in the body, which experts are calling a massive “developmental and regulatory failure.”

Synthetic Messenger Ribonucleic Acid (mRNA), such as that used in Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, enables the body to create a specific spike protein mimicking SARS-CoV-2. The body reacts to the foreign protein and generates protective immunity, which theoretically neutralizes the real virus when it enters the body.
“Researchers from the Medical Research Council (MRC) Toxicology Unit have discovered that the cellular machinery that ‘reads’ mRNAs ‘slips’ when confronted with repeats of a chemical modification commonly found in mRNA therapeutics. In addition to the target protein, these slips lead to the production of ‘off-target’ proteins triggering an unintended immune response,” said a press release for the study published in Nature on Dec. 6.

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/health/some-covid-vaccines-produce-unintended-immune-response-in-recipients-study-5543951?utm_source=top5noe&src_src=top5noe&utm_campaign=top5-2023-12-17&src_cmp=top5-2023-12-17&utm_medium=email&est=WijniBaUNN0mmN4dVCXktvndi5gwrukJgaPwy9hPOxGev6IY4PIyt1HWhPKqGfI%3D

“We can remove the error-prone code from the mRNA in vaccines so the body will make the proteins we want for an immune response without inadvertently making other proteins as well. The safety concern for future mRNA medicines is that misdirected immunity has huge potential to be harmful, so off-target immune responses should always be avoided,” said Dr. James Thaventhiran from the MRC team, who is also a practicing clinician at Addenbrooke’s hospital.

Biochemist Professor and MRC team member Anne Willis said that the redesigning work presents “both a concern and a solution for this new type of medicine.”

    • Just read this https://jessicar.substack.com/p/that-substack-about-n1-methylpseudouridines

“The authors write that N1-methylpseudouridine affects the fidelity of mRNA translation via ribosome stalling that induces frameshifting. Frameshifting results in the production multiple, unique and potentially aberrant proteins.

The modified mRNAs for use in the COVID-19 products were codon-optimized for maximal protein expression in humans. Codon optimization, or synonymous codon replacement, rests on the idea that one can induce mutations throughout a gene of interest (like spike) based on an organism’s (like humans) codon usage bias, to increase translational efficiency and protein expression without altering the sequence of the protein.2 But, it is well-known that codon-optimization can lead to protein conformation, folding and stability problems.”

Of course all the vaccinated were told they were using N1-methylpseudouridine instead of natural eurodine in the vaccination……

    • A correspondent just e mailed me this:

I had a long exchange of emails with David.
I sent him MASSES of hard data from government records of many countries.
He REFUSED to read it – he told me that he would not read it, as it was all “conspiracy theory” (even though it was all government figures)
He also said that he wanted to take a hard line on vaccinations when the next pandemic arrives (as it WILL)
He is an ignorant self-opinionated idiot.

      • That sounds interesting, Alice. Have your source release some of these emails to you, so you can post them on this blog. If that was Seymour’s reaction, that would be a major concern for me. Especially as I voted for him.

          • What the fuck is wrong with you?

Well, Einstein, I once checked some article you posted. I posted the return email reply from the authority mentioned in said posted article with names so any blog member could check.

I have done this numerous times on comments people have posted on this blog. But have not commented on many of my negative findings because…, well, your above post shows the likely outcome. An open invitation for trolls to gather like flies to horseshit.

I thought you would be happy with the seeds of doubt raised about Seymour given I voted for him. Of course you expect me to accept Alice’s SECOND HAND NEWS because she’s a nice person who is a vegan -right?

Why do you doubt everything everyone says about this?

See above. The preponderance of bs v facts is about 40/60 on this blog in favour of facts, in my opinion. That’s too high.

”I guess you are a retired school teacher.”

I worked in a grain store until the age 27, then in horticulture for another three years. In that time a worked hard trying to crack Lotto. I would smoke a pack of cigs a night as failure followed failure, followed failure. I finally created a system that worked 95% of the time. I have been retired since. I nearly lost health in the process.

And no, I haven’t won a first division prize. Only halfwits try to crack the big one.

ps – I have just written my third email to the M H asking them state the recent release of Covid data has been taken out of context, and that the Covid booster jab is safe to have.

            No reply.

to be fair to seymour he had explained many times why he ignores all the endless crap nutters email him… they took a few seriously at the start then started following up and fact checking and checking source material just to end up discovering it came from some witch doctor with no qualifications somewhere in india.
alot of others claims and “evidence” were, like here on ysb just cherry picked crap taken outve context, lumped together with other data sets and a bunch of nutters in hysterics over it.

personally i dont blame him for ignoring it, look at the bullshit junk posted and how fucked in the head and nutz half the vax nutters on here are and realise there are far more nuttier ppl out there bombarding them with even more crazier shit then you lot could think of.
sane reason why the likes of sean plunket be a douche to nutters, over it, cant be fucked with all the bullshit anymore… same with me really, over all the lies, bullshit and vax nutter propaganda. get over it, move on, you didnt get jabbed and you cant unjab others so stop worrying what happens happens.

see how easily shit gets twisted by folk reading between the lines or letting their emotions think theyve read something they havent.
now take your lil hiccup on a short blog post as an example and apply it to say 3 pages of vax crap that the average nutter only partially understands and all the sudden youve got 5g waves setting off the nanobots of a death jab and everyone thats had its gunna be dead in 2 years.

We could see something was wrong from the very start. Now you are disparaging us because we will not allow all you other idiots who did, to forget what you did.

                    • theres “doing your own research” and then theres swallowing and regurgitating every nutter conspiracy theory one sees on the internet.

for a while i got suckered into that shit to, then i stopped smoking drugs and engaged my brain… whats the usual ysb vax “enthusiasts” excuse for still doing it a few years later?

the fact that theyre still arguing and trying to prove the exact same shit they were bleating on about 2½yrs ago and not made an inch of progress suggests that maybe theyre barking up the wrong tree or looking under the wrong stone? all i know is that kerping on doing and claiming the same shit just with different twisted up data certainly isnt going to win over anyone, more likely to lose allies if they keep it up.

dont ever forget,i know i bloody well wont but im usually a spitefull and nasty fucker (you cant tell///) yet even i can get the fuck over it and move on… although thats probably got alot to do with me no longer giving a fuck about anyone else as 90%+ of the population proved to me theyre not worth it.

as i pointed out a day or so ago you lot will still be distracted and arguing over the vax that youll miss whatever the fuckers are gunna hit us with next.
and as i said, you cant unjab someone, you didnt get jabbed so why worry?

A couple of days later, another girl comes in for a checkup. As she takes off her blouse, he notices a green ‘M’ on her chest. “Do you have a boyfriend at Massey?” asks the doctor. “No, but I have a girlfriend at Waikato, Why do you ask?”

      • Howi, “That is the limitation when you actual language has only 600 words.”

And Meri Kirihimete to you, you Colonialist Heathen. Made up words my arse. Consider yourself, sternly spoken too.

Look Howi, even that traditional Maori Christmas greeting, brought to Niu Tiriani by the great and noble explorer himself, Wiremu Kupe, was here, long before those disgusting, filthy Whalers and Sealers and even the Johnny Come Lately, Jim Cook who, when came here, was to find the art of wrapping Christmas Gifts was already alive and well amongst the Maori population in 1769 and had been here since Wiremu Kupe dragged this land out of the depths.

    • Thanks Alice. Other examples of misleading the court from the article linked. Appears that they were not allowed to cross examine Bloomers and Town. So the “upholders” of the law intentionally misinform the courts.
      Examples include:
      claims being referenced to studies that make no such claim;
      claims being incorrectly referenced to studies that in fact made contradictory claims;
      data from a ‘study’ being presented as evidence without informing the court that the ‘study’ was not an observational study but a modelling simulation;
the court being told that “There are no known risks to pregnant women from the vaccine”, without the court being informed that Medsafe’s Risk Management Plan listed ‘Use in pregnancy and while breast feeding’ as ‘Missing Information’.

      Lefties cancelling Christmas?

Unfortunately this is nothing new, Marx, Lenin, Mao et al, good ‘socialists’ that they were, declared that ”Religion’ (Except the one that they were pushing; natch) was ‘The opiate of the masses’ and had/ has no part in modern socialist (Communist) society. As ‘Christmas’ involves ‘religion’, all and any ‘True socialist’ / Communist/ leftie ‘True Believer’ is therefore automatically obligated to follow the doctrine, and as such people tend to gravitate towards ‘Councils in pursuit of their ideology, such a result is not especially surprising.

The German philosopher Nietzsche added his support to that opinion with his (IN?) famous ‘God is Dead’ statement of 1882, although noticeably Nietzsche himself subsequently died and has to date been unable to confirm the accuracy of his statement…

The cop knocks on the driver’s window. “What are you doing here?”

    “Reading the sports section.”

    “What does the girl do?”

    “Listening to music.”

The policeman considers the situation for a moment, then startles. “Wait a minute… How old is the girl?”

The guy glances at his watch. “In twenty minutes, she’ll be 16!”

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon warns Kiwis battling the cost of living crisis are going to continue feeling pain next year as he believes it’s going to take time to fix the economy.

Luxon and Finance Minister Nicola Willis have been critical of the Labour Government since coming into power, saying they’ve left the government books in a “hell of a mess”.

“It’s going to take us time to restore the government books and to get everything into tip-top shape again. It’s going to take us years I suspect, if every year, being financially disciplined, making sure we’re spending the money as if it’s the taxpayers, which it actually is,” he said.

Electrical reticulation, water systems, aircraft maintenance, construction. Systems will burn and the rainbow diversity hires will throw fuel on the fire.

  13. Fuck, that was an ordeal. Daughter’s Year 8 prizegiving… excruciating cliched speeches, the very same ones I’ve heard at every prizegiving for damn near 50 years now, but now with extra te Lingo thrust pointlessly into every sentence. I suffer a giant attack of cringe listening to socially inept overweight women in baggy dresses and drongos in poorly fitting polyester suits pontificating lengthily on the holiness of school life, while flinging about lots of “mahis” and “whanaus” and beaming sagely and beatifically upon their adoring students, sorry, ah-congers. Most embarrassing of all are those teachers with English, Irish, and Canadian accents enthusiastically opening their speeches in halting, stilted te Lingo. What’s wrong with the fuckers?

But the worst moment of all? Oh, dear God, how cruel You can be! Over the course of the year, dropping Youngest Daughter off every morning, I’ve developed the hots for the gorgeous little arts teacher who frequently supervises the school crossing. Well, she opened her mouth at the podium, and out came this screech of mangled vowels and dropped consonants. By about a minute later it had dawned on me that she’s as dumb as a school gatepost, and my secret little fantasy was ruined.

Meanwhile the excitement was too much for the humongous morbidly obese coconut in a skirt sitting right behind me, who nodded off mid-ceremony and began to snore like a jackhammer. I envied him.

Five more years of this while my little one makes her way through high school, and then I will never, ever, set foot in a fucking school ever again, as long as I live.

    • I commiserate. I have another few years of this ahead of me. The buzz word at the school wind up I went to was ‘resilience.’ Looking around the middleclass pupils I wondered what their definition of ”resilience ”meant. Maybe having to use a lesser PlayStation controller when the regular one broke? Maybe toughing out a lunch meal without fizzy and a doughnut?

When I was at school resilience was taking your lumps like a man from the school bully. Fighting to keep the hungry kids from stealing your lunch, if you had a lunch. Being called a halfwit in front of the class. Being told you had failed a test while your marks were given in from the the class. Feeling the cane and strap dig into your body from a sadistic Marxist inspired teacher venting his frustrations at being a loser.

Yep, I wonder what next years buzz word will be … austerity?

“One night in Dunedin in the 1980s, Grant Robertson’s teenage friends were having a party. He wasn’t invited.

But Robertson was determined to go. With a bottle of gin in hand, he walked to the address of the party.”

It’s a bit like when Treasury advised him against doing all that stuff he went on to do regardless.

  15. Former prime minister Sir Bill English will lead an independent review into Kāinga Ora, the Government’s housing department.

Housing Minister Chris Bishop previously promised a review of Kāinga Ora’s finances, saying in Opposition he did not have confidence in how the organisation was run.

  16. Nice one Liarbour.
    Worst Government EVER. ☠️💀😵

“In a shock to economists, the economy contracted -0.3%, and the technical recession over last summer that was “technically” revised away has been revised back in.
The Kiwi economy is in a much weaker place than originally thought. Economic activity per person, contracted 0.9% in the third quarter, and the economy is down more than 3% over the year.
The RBNZ’s heavy hand has hurt households and businesses. Restrictive monetary policy is working, say Kiwibank’s chief economist Jarrod Kerr, senior economist Mary Jo Vergara, and economist Sabrina Delgado.
“The recession they told us we had, then never had, appears we had to have. And it will most likely be a double-dip recession,” Kerr says.
Kiwibank’s economists expect another contraction in the fourth quarter and probably the first quarter of next year.”

  17. Leaving our sinking economy

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/travel/2023/12/air-asia-x-axes-new-zealand-services-from-february-2024.html
Air Asia X is axing all services to and from New Zealand from early February 2024, blaming the move on “weakened consumer demand”.

Customers with flights booked after this time are being offered refunds or assistance with alternate travel options, including a credit with the airline, which continues to fly from Australia to over 130 destinations across Asia.

      • Mike, I worry people don’t understand what is coming. They have been told lies and distracted by rainbows and unicorns, kindness, whanau and other bullshit. Financial catastrophe is about to bite some.

    • Mikey said the economy did great under Ardernism and everyone got super rich, which caused house prices to rise. He also said zillions of people wanted to come here and live because Jacinda Ardern did such an amazing job with the place.

Strangely as he was telling the assembled meat puppets all that, he sold up and left. 🙂

  18. Good bloody job. How many of these teet suckers avoided the no jab-no job mandate?

    New Zealander
    @notoaotearoa

I was just talking to a Recruiter, she was saying their phones are ringing hot from ex and current Government employees looking for jobs!

She said many are or have been grossly overpaid and are shocked to find they won’t be getting close in the private sector🤷‍♂️

    • I know of one who’s still employed in the “public service”. She’s been off work with “mental health issues” for a couple of months this year. Now continues to “work from home”. She’s a PA pulling $150k. How you do that from home I’m not sure.

    • This is true. Auckland council is among the top 3 employment payers in Auckland.
      For phenomenally low productivity.

I said years ago – when pubic servants are on the top income the economy is stuffed.
      here we are.

It is not just the pay levels, it is the excessive numbers of them that still deliver (?) for crap output and results.
Among factors in NZs shockingly low productividy.

      • A friend works at the Greater Wellington Regional Council. Says there’s a strong rainbow brigade who are great at organising little pride events for themselves, but don’t actually do any work.

She hardly has to do a fraction of the amount of work she normally would do, and is still regarded as a star.

No wonder my rates are sky-high. 🤬

      • Say it often enough and you will believe it yourself, even if the rest of the world doesn’t anymore.

Not a thing stopping you from apologising and admitting you were and are wrong.
Nasska will arrange some priests to say a few Hail Marys for you and allow you to fill their Collection Plate so they can produce some more jabbs for those wishing to die early.

          • You called Nasska? As soon as I have finished with a few pesky problems (Been eating and drinking far too much these few days and feeling very guilty about the sin of glutony) I’ll see if I can book a session with a clerical agent. Of course , as its Christmas time fees are at a premium, but I’ll see if I can do a combo deal for you at the usual rate. ( So many people seeking absolution for fucking the secretary at the office Christmas Party at this point) – Seems like a few too many have been accused of taking things a bit far under the Mistletoe. And now days, you bloody need documentary, sighted evidence that you could in fact have a slap and a tickle and maybe a little grope.

In terms of sudden deaths there was some research done about 12months ago which found sudden deaths amongst sports people was up from memory around 1700%. But you carry on believing that it’s all business as usual if it makes you feel better.

  19. Another FAIL under Labour

Te Pūkenga: Leaked documents reveal horror financial position for polytechs, insiders spill beans on ‘s**tshow’ meeting with minister

But moving quickly could lead to something else. An insider said: “If this disestablishment goes ahead, all the North Island polytechnics will be in danger of folding very quickly.”

But it’s actually worse than that. Newshub’s been leaked financial statements showing all 16 polytechs are essentially broke.

The worst are Whitireia and WelTec, which are $28 million in deficit. Waikato Institute of Technology is $22.5m in the red, Open Polytechnic is not far behind on $22m and Toi Ohomai is nearly $21m. The deficit at all 16 polytechnics totals more than $185m.

  20. Big rates rises predicted as councils hit funding ‘tipping point’

Local Government New Zealand (LGNZ) president Sam Broughton said that the way councils were funded needed to be reformed.

The organisation, which advocates for councils, has long called for changes to the funding model with central government.

“There is going to be hundreds of billions of dollars required that just needs to be paid for,” Broughton told 1News.

    • This is a pathetic attempt at a hit job, because one of the left’s favorite projects is being pulled apart. How would a centralised conglomerate make any difference to the financial position of individual polytechs ?
They have all obviously become bloated and need to be trimmed back and\or the courses offered need to be re-elvaluated.

  21. Police settle personal grievance claims over staff treatment after Covid-19 vaccine refusals

The claims were lodged in May 2022 on behalf of [https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/473962/covid-19-vaccine-sequel-dozens-of-police-staff-take-personal-grievance-case

91 staff] after the High Court ruled a vaccine mandate for police was unlawful.

It would have restricted the roles unvaccinated staff could carry out.

Employees complained about how long it took for them to return to work, their roles, their treatment by other staff and the police’s new vaccination policy.

In August, police tweaked the policy to say vaccination was not “expected”, but was “encouraged”.
