  1. Yep and we still have cancer all the billions of dollars that has gone into cancer research, and still have neurological diseases and all the billions that have gone into that as well. We still have the covid and billions have been paid to the drug companies for that. Never ends does it?
Have a safe day people. Another beautiful day here in Hamilton evidently

  2. Here we go. The failed climate doom prediction is because of climate change. The article attempts to convince the reader that a lack of disaster is in fact a disaster.

Weather: El Niño weather pattern isn’t delivering the expected hot dry summer due to warmer ocean temperatures

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2024/01/weather-el-ni-o-weather-pattern-isn-t-delivering-the-expected-hot-dry-summer-due-to-warmer-ocean-temperatures.html

      • considering el nino is literally driven by warm ocean temperatures i find that headline rather minced.
do these muppets even know what the fark el nino and la nino are?

forecasters of doom are a bit like kea and once they see their predictions arent going to eventuate they scramble to create a new narrative to save face. next theyll claim this is what they predicted all along.

kea, you should go consult for them and give them advice on how to make extra crappy predictions but still claim theyre right anyways. money for jam bro.

anyways we’re only 1 month into summer aswell, 1 or 2 months of no rain and drought can still happen.

      • Yes HP.

In all research specifics and raw data matter. Someone’s opinion of ‘warm’ doesn’t quite cut it.

I can remember as child, long hot summers, and water that was so warm you would stay in the water for hours.

      • …sea boils…

And they frighten the public with that shit.

So the temperature of earth will increase by 85°C in a just a few months.

If that was to occur I’d be more worried about the aliens and their Metreon cascade/Tri-Lithium devices capable of doing that.

    • Fuck they always got some half baked excuse. And could some one please tell me how warmer ocean temperatures arise? I always believed it was the sun. However, what would I know, compared to intellectual giants like Thunberg and the Stuff Editorial team.

  3. For the poor and downtrodden who inhabit the Marlborough Region, if NIWA’s predictions are correct (and we all know how accurate their weather predictions for this summer have been //) then you may as well pack your bags now and shuffle off somewhere else, ’cause you are about to get wet.

“Niwa modelling of 1.5 to 2m sea-level rise would see tides knocking on the door of central Blenheim.”

And if you are the Marlborough Mayor and Councilors who believe this shit, well I have a bridge that spans the Wanganui River which I currently have for sale, at a knockdown price which I need to get rid of.

    • AH,

There are places around Christchurch, where the average sea level for NZ has not risen, but where high tide maximum has substantially increased. Which is taken as a sign of climate change by various funded Climate Change zealots.

They neglect to say that it is due to subsidence post earthquake and/or river channels which have shallowed because of a lack of river dredging that used to keep the channels clear, and a massive buildup of silt and washed down liquefaction.

As small children, we built sand castles and extensive waterways in the river sand and at the seaside and we understood the importance of keeping channels clear to prevent flooding. We also removed rocks and stones from streams to make the water flow better.

We also observed what happened when there were actual floods during the spring thaw or winter rain.

As children, me and my mates knew more about dredging, river maintenance, and channel maintenance, than grown adults do today, despite multi-million (climate change) projects to try and figure out how climate change causes flooding. We also observed as adults, how scientists would take natural cycles and claim them to be climate change.

By the time we got to geography in the 3rd form, we had several years of practical experience under our belts on the forces of nature.

      • 2m average sea level rise would require a massive average temperature increase. But given the thermal mass of the planet, it could take centuries, with a 1or 2°C change.

If it was to occur with a few years as Al Gore predicted, it would take massive sustained temperature increases in large double digits.

This is all based on simple high school science and understanding thermal mass, thermal conductivity, and thermal lag.

  4. Anti-Slavic sentiment

Anti-Slavic sentiment, also known as Slavophobia, a form of ethnic based prejudice or xenophobia, refers to various negative attitudes towards Slavic peoples, the most common manifestation a claim that inhabitants of Slavic nations are inferior to other ethnic groups. Anti-Slavism reached its peak during World War II, when Nazi Germany declared Slavs, especially neighboring Poles to be subhuman (Untermensch) and planned to exterminate the majority of Slavic people

The numbers of Slavs exterminated by the Nazis is well over 10 million. The total killed is well over 20 million and believed to be close to 30 million. The percentages of the total population killed in some Slavic countries is astonishing.

I hate to point out your error. But it is actually 106 years, not 78 years. They started vaccinating troops during WW1 for all sorts of things, and added a new vaccine, for the flu, toward the end of the war.

When WW1 ended there were massive supplies of vaccine left over. So they were shipped around the world on the returning troop ships, to be given to the public. And then mysteriously a flu broke out all over the world at break neck speed – the ‘Spanish flu’.

Which was actually bacterial meningitis. Even the CDC, on their website admit that the ‘Spanish Flu’ was actually bacterial meningitis, and not a flu at all. What they don’t say, is how it spread world wide like wild fire, at a time when people were not traveling.

    12

    0

    • It originated in Kansas, USA.

Was carried to Europe by US troops, then festered in crowded places like trenches and barracks, spread throughout Europe.
Due to fake gnews 107 /106 years ago, just like fake reporting by MSM on Ukraine/Russia today, the high and rapid death rate was not reported although known by the arseholes in charge of killing .

So when it reached Spain, adjacent to France , it was widespread in Europe. As the Spanish had no need to lie, like US/UK/German MSM, they told the truth and got labeled with the name of the sickness despite it being from the US.
      History repeats.
Returning troops spread it around the world.

      7

      0

    • They tried to replicate the spread of the Spanish “flu” by deliberately infecting some US naval recruits they released from military prison. Couldn’t get it to spread. Saliva, blood, skin contact. Not a flu, vaccine damage in a population devastated by 4 years of brutal war.

Early expansion of big pharma contract profits through injecting soldiers, who didn’t have a choice. The invisible hand of greed.

  6. Correspondent Rod Liddle was talking about out of control knife violence in Britain. That was one reason he left Britain. He said knife crime has become out of control because it is a majority immigrant problem and police don’t want to be accused of racism should they start to tackle the problem.

But from what I have read, comparative to other Western nations, Britain has a massive knife problem across all sectors of society and ethnicities.

I personally practice knife defence because it’s a growing problem in our once great country. If you have the wrong job or walk down the street in any town or city on a Friday or Saturday night you are asking for trouble.

In the link, a 16 year old went out to watch fireworks. He was stabbed in the neck and died.

  7. I really like this Shelia – Rita Panahi. She runs a programme on Sky News Australia that Righties and balanced old school Liberals in NZ can only dream about. Trying to imagine TV1 having such a programme brings tears of mirth to my eyes.

Panahi is American, Australian and Iranian by blood and birth, She points out the irony of these dimwitted LGBT community protesters not understanding that of all the middle eastern countries, Israel is the only country that offers them some measure of protection. Hence Palestinian gays crossing the border for protection.

Are these protesters a product our Western education systems. Or are they born halfwits made worse by our failing Western morality and social disintegration?

  8. https://www.1news.co.nz/2024/01/04/fisherman-survives-nearly-24-hours-in-water-near-whangamata/
A man has been rescued after spending 23.5 hours in the water after he fell overboard during a solo fishing trip off Whangamatā.

Near the Alderman Islands he fell overboard some 55km off the North Island after he hooked what he believed was a marlin. He was unable to catch the idling boat as it meandered further out of reach.

The man attempted to swim to the Alderman Islands, but was dragged away by the currents and endured a cold night in the ocean where even a shark came to “have a sniff”, however he was too exhausted to keep swimming.

Incredibly, about 2pm on Wednesday, three fishermen were on a boat near Mayor Island when they noticed an unusual reflection on the water.

They decided to investigate and discovered the fisherman desperately trying to get their attention using the reflection of the sun on his watch.

I am advised that the average life-expectancy (Even in Summer) if you fall into the sea off the NZ coast is (at most) 3.5 hours, so this particular individual that is one very lucky guy.

Fishermen being what they are, presumably he landed, went to the medics for a quick check-up, and then went back out – if only to try and locate his missing dinghy.

        It’s what you do…

    • Waikatogirl ,around 20 years ago a guy who had just fitted a new engine in his game boat took it out from tutukākā to give the engine a few hour’s running, about 10km out he saw a work up of fish and noticed a couple of marlin feeding so he threw one line over with a suitable lure and motored around the work up ,he hooked one and struggled by himself to bring it to the boat but finally managed then slipped ,fell over the side and desperately grabbed for the fish which was floating expired behind the launch ,now he was in trouble as the boat was on autopilot at around 2 knots the rod was also feeding out line because of the extra weight ,in the end he was incredibly lucky someone turned up and saw his plight and saved him apparently his chest was nearly skinned because of the roughness of the fishes skin.
I forgot to mention after being dragged around for about 15 minutes the bloody marlin started coming back to life as well ,one very lucky man.

      • the hindus alone have heaps.
I’ll ask my Diary guy when I next get milk there
        —————-
        How many?
The fact that this number is not universally accepted is a clear sign that Hinduism is a pantheistic religion. Hindus believe that there are 330 million gods in total, but they do not know their exact number. Some say it’s closer to six million, while others claim it’s closer to thirty.
        ————–
Many of these local deities are forms of the two most important Hindu gods, Vishnu and Shiva, or sometimes of the goddess Parvati. With that being said, some scholars put the number of Hindu gods and goddesses at anywhere between 33 and over 330 million.
        —–
An indian fella told me years ago there are 500.
I think they pick and choose.
Depends on how many times they nod their head left to right !!

Mmmm… scholars put the number of Hindu gods and goddesses ..

  10. The Book of Exodus is the second book of the Torah, immediately following Genesis. The book tells how the ancient Israelites leave slavery in Egypt through the strength of Yahweh, the God who has chosen Israel as his people.

So the claim of Jews coming from modern day Israel is a lie. Even their own religious bullshit does not say that. In fact it goes on to say the land was occupied by many people – Palestinians we call them. That is not a matter of opinion it is a matter of simple fact. They also moved out on mass and didn’t even stay there long as they can’t get on with people due to their malfeasance.

[Nope the fact that some Jews died in a war that killed around 70 million does not mean Palestinians should be punished for what Europeans did.]

    • The Israelites who were a tribe rather than a nation moved out of Caanan & fled to Egypt to escape a great famine about 1200BC. They made a general nuisance of themselves for a few hundred years until the Pharoah got sick of their bludging & enslaved them causing them to seek hospitality elsewhere.

The rest of the story is covered by Exodus & various OT ramblings but eventually they returned to the approximate siting of modern day Israel. For the next 1000 years or thereabouts they got their arses kicked by invading armies including the Assyrians, Babylonians & the Romans. Each time blocks of Jews fled until they were dispersed throughout the then known world.

A Nevada judge has been attacked by a defendant in a felony battery case who leapt over a defence table and the judge’s bench, landing atop her and sparking a bloody brawl involving court officials and attorneys, officials and witnesses said.

In a violent scene captured by courtroom video, Clark County District Judge Mary Kay Holthus fell back from her seat against a wall and suffered some injuries but was not hospitalised, courthouse officials said.

He was arrested and jailed at the Clark County Detention Center, where records showed he faces multiple new felony charges including battery on a protected person — referring to the judge and court officers.

“It happened so fast it was hard to know what to do,” said Richard Scow, the chief county district attorney who prosecuted Redden on a case that stemmed from an arrest last year on allegations that Redden attacked a person with a baseball bat.

‘In shock’: Two British Airways flight attendants die suddenly

British Airways has been rocked by the sudden death of two flight attendants.

A 52-year-old worker died in a hotel room during a stopover and another steward, also 52, collapsed and died while on duty, The Sun reports.

The first man was found dead on December 23 after failing to report for duty.

His flight from Newark to London Heathrow was cancelled, with passengers re-booked onto later flights.

Devastated colleagues were flown home as passengers after raising the alarm.

The second steward collapsed and died while on duty in front of shocked passengers on New Year’s Eve.
