Nah, neither have I.
It was an agreement between the Ananu and the National Park at handback. The Ananu requested it stop in 1985, but agreed that when less than 20% of visitors climb the rock the climb will be closed instead. They support some of the tourism around here and are learning western skills and trades (cleaners, waiters, etc) but still live in a reasonable amount of poverty. Self-inflicted to a degree, as many still live in their old ways, but wearing western clothes.
All the climbs. Partly because it is sacred, partly due to the deaths each year, parrly to preserve it because tourists do tend to fuck things up if left unrestrained.
Imagine, some paintings are lost because tourists threw water on them to make the colours more vivid for photos.
My feelz tell me that it still identifies as Ayer’s Rock and I still believe I live in New Zealand (as opposed to Aotearoa)
I like the look too, except that on my phone the caption to the picture doesn’t show on the main page so it loses a little bit of impact for the casual reader.

This is more important as nesting comments, makes one have to search more if one can not check on “recent comments”.
I find “recent comments” of value, as otherwise one has to check through all the comments to find newer comments and so becomes more time consuming, particularly as hoped for, that there will be many more comments.

I have been quite OK with paying the power bill on time and getting a prompt payment discount.
I may be thick in that I simply do not understand what Megan Woods issue is with that. I do not waste cash on booze, shagging, or fast foods thus can afford to have lights and the heater on when necessary. Old fashioned values leave me wanting to pay accounts owing when due.
My view, Minister Woods is wasting her time and our money. The power companies do not need her telling them how to run their businesses. I would be more than irritated if I was a share holder and the government is setting up to interfere in the business.

I find the big black and red boxes with the reverse script at the top of the home page a bit heavy handed, design wise.
Reverse text is generally thought to be harder to read than dark-on-light and for this reason designers usually reserve it for one or two word attention grabbers (like ‘Sale’ or ‘Coming soon’ etc).
I think the reverse text boxes detract from an otherwise cool design. Just saying…..

He gave a Kiwiblog commenter step-by-step instructions on how to use a plastic bag to kill himself. In your case he’s arguably breached principles 5 (“be used to harass an individual”) and 6 (“make a false allegation”). His obsession with your underwear, linking you to alt-right groups, and generally smearing your family name, has gone far beyond what DPF should allow on his blog.
My suggestion: keep a record of Stephieboy’s comments and send them to Netsafe if DPF doesn’t want to deal with them.
