New Zealand’s biggest bank is reviewing the use of an invisible piece of TikTok code on its website, amid concerns in Australia over how the Chinese-owned social media giant is collecting customers’ data from major retail websites – and fears about where it might end up.

ANZ says it is confident it is acting in accordance with customers’ expectations and that it does not collect or share personal data but it is also seeking reassurances from TikTok over its pixel – a small piece of code used on the ANZ website and many other top New Zealand retail and service websites.

The move follows scrutiny in Australia, where the privacy commissioner there has launched an initial inquiry into the use of the pixel to determine whether a full investigation is required.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/tiktok-pixel-privacy-concerns-anz-stops-code-on-website-nz-retailers-privacy-commissioner-keep-close-watch-on-australian-inquiry/O3NFQQNKYFFNBNVADXHDRMT5KU/

But there’s more. slipery Key and his staff told a white lie and have been busted.

And they are not the only ones.
Inquiries by the NZ Herald show the pixel has been installed by retailers and services in New Zealand including the ANZ and Westpac banks, One NZ, The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming, Hallensteins, Glassons, and Flight Centre.

Viking- seriously? I think that in your haste to post sometimes you don’t think it through. We all know your opinions on a host of matters. I bet you pay your rates , insurance premiums, fines (if you incur one ) etc and wouldn’t give a fat rats backside for those who don’t and run off to the media complaining when it hits the fan.
How many years of non payment to incur rates arrears of $10,000 at Mahia ? ( Hint- it ain’t Tauranga) But in your view Council should say stuff the other ratepayers, we gotta subsidize these assholes in their business venture? Does that apply to all other businesses ( in a high unemployment area of course)

Put your glasses on before you read.

Its $10k per year.

Its right there in the article but for you:
Wairoa District Council has killed the attraction by charging more than $10,000 a year in rates.

Plus there is a backlog. where the line has been unuseable and is now a considerable less available.

Last years storm.

Key to January 27′s troubles was the lack of warning about the storm’s severity.

MetService concluded in a report last October that its forecasting model had performed badly in the lead-up.

That was in part because January 27 was an “anomaly” of weather circumstances that made it hard to predict.

“All weather models would still struggle to identify them in advance,” MetService spokeswoman Lisa Murray says.

However, the service’s meteorologists had learned valuable lessons and now believe they could “add value where the models cannot” should similar circumstances begin building in future.
https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/auckland-anniversary-floods-one-year-on-could-the-city-cope-with-another-storm-like-january-27/4X4TB4UDNRA7FOAKOBN2QPJ7FA/

Met Service don’t get the weather right most days.

worth the read for other bits of information particularly if you live in auckland.

One could seriously consider that this shutting down public health information, is part of the mission taken on by the current Prime Minister of New Zealand, Luxon by retaining Ardern as an envoy to the “Christchurch Call” that is costing New Zealand circa $ half a million dollars.

We know via Official Information Act IOA that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has used a direct portal to face book, to delete comments & most likely posts that they do not agree with.
In the recent past we know that Ardern seemed to have great contact with well placed highly paid executives of twitter,
Plus “Christchurch Call” that cultivates via a number of NGO’ etc, to network in suppression & censorship.

The Christchurch Call is a community of over 130 governments, online service providers, and civil society organisations acting together to eliminate terrorist and violent extremist content online.
https://www.christchurchcall.com/

Definitions and mission creep, as they are not accountable.
Just a little quiet head to head talk between Luxon & Ardern. ….. hmmmm ….

A bit from the latest Free Speech Union email.

“I don’t like hearing ideas I don’t agree with- that’s why I don’t think others should be allowed to say whatever they want.”

This was a comment someone (a Law Phd student, no less!) made to me recently after I spoke at an event on the importance of a culture that respects free speech.🤦

Interestingly, at this same event, Simon Wilson, the Herald Columnist, had made the case that free speech isn’t under threat in New Zealand. I think this audience member’s comments proved him wrong. ”

We have real problems if a PhD student and one doing it law!! has this way of thinking.

Same with MBA etc.
University output has been severely degraded.
Look at Harvard.

So not really anything to raise eyebrows on.
The education kids are subjected to from 5 (and earlier) means they are brain washed.
Instead of kids being bullied in the playground, they are bullied by eternally left leaning activists drawing a teachers’ public sector salary.

Wallacetown volunteer firefighters called to a medical event were devastated to find it was one of their own — 20-year-old Bryant McKenzie — who had died in his sleep. Toni McDonald reports on a “firecracker of a human being”.

“B-Man” was a charismatic young man, who was always keen for a yarn and squeezed more life in to his 20 years than most people.

His name was Bryant McKenzie, but most knew him as B-Man.

As a late arrival into his family, he had the advantage of growing up around adults, which gave him wisdom beyond his years.

it was a pisstake of redneck country which wallacetown is just inside the boundary of. there not only could you wake up dead but you could also go hunt gooses and catch fishes, dont believe the locals tho when they tell you how many they shot/caught as theyll for sure be lying through their tooth 🙂

yeah, no matter what the cause of death its a fucking shit thing to happen and devestate a family.
been a fair few younger folk around here under 30 die recently, one lost her job through mandates so cant blame the jab but who knows about others tho maybe the jab nutters are right but we will probably never find out.
everyone is putting god knows what chemicals and un natural compounds in our bodies 24/7 now so could be any number of reasons for all the weird illnesses and deaths. to nail it down to 1 or even a few things would be near impossible imo.

This may be in the same vein.
This is for real today in Sydney.

Police stop the train to then issue a “Move On Order”

…. After leaving the train station, the group congregated at nearby St Peters Park where they started chanting racial slurs and sharing anti-vaccination comments— and singing.

However, they were soon dispersed by police.

In a statement, Premier Chris Minns condemned the actions of the men.

“Normal people don’t celebrate Australia Day with a balaclava on” ….
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-01-26/police-operation-north-sydney-train-station/103394488

In the mean time the police arrest a few on a “capture & release” plan.
Then pay their way by serving numerous “Infringement notices”

Needs a timely autopsy with a decent pathologist, that knows how to do the histography staining, that can even determine whether any spike damage is either from the virus or the vaccine & of what maybe another cause, like genetics, etc.. !

But the New Zealand Health guide lines seem to follow Fauci’s guidelines that NZ does not need to do autopsies.

Then the Coroners Amendment Act because it takes years, have short-cut through the Coroners Amendment Act 2023
…. clarifies that Coroners may record the cause of death as presumed natural causes in certain circumstances; …

Then set up unaccountable channels like Medicines Assessment Advisory Committee (MAAC) that tell MedSafeNZ what to do.

Like wise the powers of Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) to tell the Doctors what they can look into & say as advice to their patients.

In the meantime some just declare that New Zealander’s should accept this as as the new normal;- and blindly acquiesce to the WHO Pandemic Treaty who can trigger NZ rules & regulations, naturally for the common good.

Dieing in your sleep as a 20yr old seems a bit odd, wonder what the statistics would show if you charted that since say the 1950s (hard to count around a major war or you could take it back a lot further)

This Southern Border Migrant flow is building up, as not just Texas ignoring the Federal Judgement of pulling down the barb wire fences, where the Feds started cutting up sections to allow more migrants.

Half the States rally for Texas in stopping Migrants on the border.
…. “What is Biden going to do? Send the military in to forcibly open the border? In an election year?” ….
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/war-red-states-rally-round-texas-battle-brews-biden-over-border

And of course Trump supports Texas, 🙂
So Biden thinks he can take over or stop the Texas national guard.
And a build up of support by over half the USA State Governors.

….South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem … …
… “What people forget is that governors are commanders-in-chief.
We’re responsible for the men and women of our National Guard.
It’s a heavy responsibility that weighs on our shoulders, and so we never engage our National Guard soldiers and those men and women unless it’s incredibly important.”

Greg Abbott “Prepared” for Conflict With Federal Authorities
https://youtu.be/shkBKszYpZ8
14 mins 20 secs : 27th Jan 2024 : Tucker Carlson

…..Tucker Carlson unpacks the situation unfolding at the southern border with several guests.
Watch the full episode here: https://bit.ly/3RCq6cc
.
A trucker convoy heads to Texas to try to protect our country from invasion.
A conversation with one of the leaders of it, as well as with the attorney general of Texas on where the border standoff goes next.
Plus: in an interview from India, Gov. Greg Abbott says ten other states have sent national guard to the Texas border, and others will follow.
Abbott says he is “prepared” for a conflict with federal authorities.

So must have been an earlier taped video as it has gone from 10 states to 25 in support, that is so far. 🙂

Still do not trust Abbot, a real RINO & nor do I know all the other State Governors.
As President Regan, Trust, but always Verify.comment image

It seems to be that Texas may be coming an Insurrectionist State.. ???
Will the Federal troops roll in?
Will Texas need F-16’s to stand against the Feds? as Biden mentioned in one of his speeches.

Who will take control of those Federal Military bases in Texas.
To take over that would be considered & declared insurrectionist ?
Can the Federal government declare Martial law?

Will there also not only be the State’s National Guard, but who do they give allegiance to?
What if people quickly build up an armed militia & who will the be answerable to & as what? Will they be called Insurrectionists?

So will there even be elections? Will certain states not be allowed to vote?
With this rapid build up of numbers by the States to back Texas, makes the politics even more interesting.

This is an election cycle year, where Abbot has belatedly, for years, done very little, & realized that it is now to a good place to make a stand, to hang his banner.
Though Texas has got a good attorney general in Paxton that stood off a Democrat impeachment.
Also a good lieutenant governor in Dan Patrick.

“All the states should recognize that the power lies with the states.
The states created the federal government.
The federal government did not create the states.”
– Walter E. Williams 1936 – 2020

Sometimes I think the Biden crew will just back down, but I know I can not 2nd guess the depth of their stupidity.

Texas is the lone start state and can acceed from the federal union.
Biden can threaten but they can tell him to get stuffed and go their own way.

Breaking News: There are reports that thousands of Farmers in Germany are heading towards the offices of a mainstream media outlet to demand fair reporting of the protests.

Main Stream Media has been bought and paid for by Bill Gates and the World Economic Forum led by Klaus Schwab and have not reported on the protests and tried to stop them spreading Internationally.

They have failed.

They are now being targeted by the protestors.

In the UK, the BBC and SKY News will be watching and praying the UK farmers don’t rise up in Britain.

They too have not been reporting on these protests but instead are taking the Globalists cash to stay silent.
