  2. And i see that while Niwa can buy flash utes we ain’t going to get anther 500 police it seems.
Like the rail ferries Willis and co are attacking the wrong targets. Who the fuck would go to war with any of those useless cunts.?
They would be killing their own people. As Nats always do. fucking Catholic socialists.

Police Commissioner unable to rule out job losses amid Govt’s spending cuts
Police Commissioner Andrew Coster won’t speculate on whether his organisation can achieve the Government’s desired 6.5 per cent cut in spending without losing staff.

He acknowledges “trade-offs” are required to deliver such savings from a $2.2 billion budget, of which $17b relates to staffing.

Coster also shed light on the challenges posed by the Government’s tougher approach to law and order by saying the goal to train 500 new officers over two years is “certainly ambitious” and accepting further interaction with gang members through the proposed patch ban would likely lead to more assaults on officers.

Coster appeared before the Justice Select Committee today as part of the annual review of the police.

Easy shit to do when you wallow in the Parliamentary trough. Mitchell will cave in as a soft cock.

Haven’t seen one substantial announcement about cutting the welfare budget yet. NOT ONE.
NOT ONE about cutting out green house funding, not one about cutting funds for offshore charities and places like the UN.

sold out on us already the pricks.

  3. and while I’m at it Willis hasn’t told NZ post to stop spending our money buying up other couriers to reduce competition and replace it with their average service.

Another light weight finance minister as bad a Ruth the mouth and Trousers. She bankrupted plenty. This stupid tart will do the same.

Meanwhile we are all paying them more tax than ever.

    • Notional wont curtail smoking as they need it for their smoke and mirrors gig.

Willis is completely inept as Finance Minister.
A real box ticker. She has no instincts or ‘nose for finance’
She worked at Fonterra ‘to get get commercial experience’.
How the hell did that work out ? when it is was at its worst under Theo ‘the cnut’ Spierings.
      That was bullshit.
It was a staggering disaster at that time.
Will she bring this ‘experience ‘ to the table ??

Willis – Quals in English clit and post-graduate diploma in journalism
How is that of any use?
Blinglish did English lit (goes with the name I guess) but also did a Commerce degree. He also worked in Treasury.
He is the only decent Finance Minister in living memory ..just not so good as PM, he got stage fright; went past his station in life.

Ireland Just SHOCKED The World And Elon Is FIGHTING BACK!
    Russell Brand

As Elon Musk pledges to fund any Irish legal challenges to hate speech legislation, is Ireland on the verge of criminalising speech that would ordinarily be regarded merely as rude or controversial – and more worrying, is this just a pilot for laws that will be enacted around the globe?

  5. I see all the news bosses are in Wellington to lobby the government to make google etc pay for their news content. I take it this is the same government they have been attacking every way they can because the stupid people had the audacity to vote for the wrong parties. The sooner stuff, newshub, RNZ etc go bust the better. You reap what you sow, they should be told to piss off or ask Labour for help, after all they have been keeping these tossers afloat with our money for years.

  6. There was once a man who lived in a poor country. He went to law school and became a very intelligent person. Years later, he decided to go back to his country to show them how worthy he was.
He started his own office and, on the first day, he saw a man walking into his office. In an attempt to seem busy, he quickly picked up the phone and gestured for the man to come in while he pretended he was talking to a very important person.
After he put down the phone several minutes later, he apologised to the man and said:
“Sorry to keep you waiting. As you can see, I’m a very busy man. What can I do for you?”

    The man smiled and said:
“I’m from the telephone company. I’m here to hook up your phone.”

  8. The Covid Response Inquiry is getting ready to whitewash report on the biggest catastrophe in New Zealand’s living memory and they are inviting submissions from ordinary New Zealanders on what should be included. Amazingly, the efficacy of the ‘vaccine’ is specifically excluded at this stage and its safety isn’t even mentioned!

    https://haveyoursay.covid19lessons.royalcommission.nz/public-input/englishtor/consultation/intro/

This is my submission. I have kept it ‘respectful’ as I want it to be actually read and not written off immediately as a rave from an ‘antivax nutter’.

I cannot understand why vaccine efficacy is not included in the terms of reference. Furthermore, an even more important area is the safety of this virtually untested mRNA vaccine which was injected into millions of New Zealanders multiple times in response to what is, essentially, an influenza.

With continued repeated infection amongst the vaccinated, surely someone in authority must have realised by now that this injection simply doesn’t work?

But even more concerning is NZ’s excess morbidity rate (around 18% depending on reports) from fast growing cancers, heart problems and strokes. There is a strong suspicion in many quarters that this is a direct result of the covid vaccine.

Please therefore include both vaccine efficacy and safety in your enquiry as it is a matter of vital importance. Thank you.

When responding to the question about my Iwi connections, though, I couldn’t resist writing this:

I have a deep connection to my Celtic Iwi extending back countless generations and, as shown by my name, my hapu is the xxxxxxx. I’m not sure about my rohe as the territories we have conquered have changed over time.

  10. So the Government has appointed 3 “experts” to advise on the Cook Stait ferries.

    “Experts” really?

    One gentleman runs Nelson Airport.
One gentleman is a Director of Auckland Airport.
The last gentleman is a former National MP and Minister.

Not one has any practical shipping experience, portside operational experience or rail link experience. How can they advise the Minister on ship operations, the complex requirements in ship owning and ship management, the complexity of shoreside ship operations, when you run an Airport or have been a politician. Another long term fuck up in the making.

    • Thats a joke they cant even work out how to get the correct number of people on a plane. Why would any one with quarter of a brain think that getting someone from a completely different industry to comment on that was a good idea they need to be shot with their own shit

    • How bad is it really.

I don’t know this joker but his CV reads well. 1 of the 3.
      —————————–
      Mark Cairns

Mark Cairns has worked in large infrastructure (build/operate), logistic operations and complex supply chains for most of his career and brings extensive Chief Executive experience in business operations at scale, including significant exposure to capital markets.

He is currently Chair of Freightways and a director of Auckland International Airport Limited and previously Meridian Energy Limited and Sanford Limited.

He was Chief Executive of Port of Tauranga, New Zealand’s largest and most successful port, from 2005 until his retirement in June 2021 to pursue a full-time governance career. Mark was previously Chief Executive of Toll Owens Limited and General Manager of Fulton Hogan.

Mark has a first-class honours degree in Civil Engineering from University of Auckland, a degree in Business Studies and a Master of Management from Massey University.
He is a Fellow of Engineering New Zealand and a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
      ———————-

So is a professional director now incl Chairman of Freightways.
He was CEO of Port of TGA for 15 years.
He has real qualifications unlike many cabinet ministers from a year ago who took 5 to 7 year to get a BA, incl fat arse Robbers son, Min of Finance.

You surely would not want anyone from Kiwirail on it who cannot run anything. Kiwirail is a shocker.
The first CEO after buyback in 2008 was Jim Quin whose experience was in Courier companies.
Appointed because he was a catholic mate of Jim Bolger . Was always isolated and was not appointed a second term.
      Appears Mark Cairns was.
      —————-
The other appointee apart from Roger Sowry.
      Mark Thompson – selected parts—
Mark Thompson has had a long career in logistics and transport operations holding senior executive roles in Australasia, USA, China and the Philippines leading public and private service focused organisations.

Mark has a deep understanding of the Interislander Cook Strait ferry business having been General Manager of the Interislander for KiwRail and being involved in the development of long term logistic plans.

He was General Manager of Centre Port leading its rebuilt post the Kaikoura earthquake.
      ——————–
Who, TAH, would you find more suitable.
In low talent, low productivity environment of NZ where Fletcher Building is regularly in the shit despite its control over so much building in NZ, ….where would you find people like this with

      -Hands on experience
      -High level oversight abilities ?

    • Tah@1240

Hopefully I will be proven wrong , but on the basis of their ‘business’ backgrounds, it would seem to be highly likely that the New Zealand appointees are all NATIONAL PARTY supporters and that on that basis, the Nats (Despite avowing that they never would) are now doing exactly what labour does so well; – ‘Feather-bedding’ the enquiry and pre-determining it’s eventual outcome.

The song ‘You’ve gotta have friends…’ comes to mind.

      • Komata, you are correct, well with one at least, Roger Sowry, former National MP & Cabinet Minister. Maritime and Logistics experience – Nil.

Previous employment, Valuations Department, Parliament and Bellamy’s then Arthritis NZ. Again, Shipping, Ship Management, Port Operations, Rail, Logistics experience, absolutely none. Featherbedding – plenty.

    • By year end, in all likelihood Britain will have the joys of a Labour government.

      Oh yay.
      Be like Australia.
However the Conservatives have done themselves no favours in 14 years, with 5 Prime Ministers,
infighting, massive cockups, deliberate deception, promotion of war in Ukraine (although that goes down well in pommyland, especially as they do not have to fight and prove they are useless)

      Sunak has been a fizzer.
Maybe they need to be annexed to India and have Modi sort out their shit !!!

Fook me, so bad, so many changes, squandered opportunity that Labour looks better.
      Hell hath no fury……
The only thing is to do a Scott Morrison as occurred in AU 2019 and win against the tide.

If they can’t Bark clearly and concisely there is also a good reason to claim the dogs were mistaken.

    • BN, from your Post:

“The tribunal has been considering two applications on climate change – one from David Potter on behalf of all Māori for a priority inquiry,”

Whoever David Potter is, I do not know, but he is a presumptive Bastard, he claims his actions are on behalf or all Maori but I be he has not canvassed them nor asked either their opinion nor consent. He definitely has not asked my Maori grandchildren, I know that for a fact.

And how presumptive of the Waitangi Tribunal to accept this Claim on behalf of all Maori when not all Maori, would agree, want or request this Hearing.

Time NZ First and the Coalition Government took the Waitangi Tribunal back to their original Charter or scrapped it totally.

i dont know why anyone would allow that to happen and then get upset when the inevitable happens especially when you live in a shithole city full of drug fucked losers just looking for some scummy thing to do like set fire to some standing hay and dry tinder scrub.

Who would have guessed strapping a half a kilo pair of glasses to your noggin, to watch and play shit that’s out of your usual periphery whilst trying to navigate your everyday life would be a burden?
