  1. Quiet this morning?

I am in my small tent, thinking about getting up and getting breakfast.
On the road, Taupo bound, by 8 a.m.
I see so many retirees in their $150,000 camper vans. I don’t know if I want the complications of a self-contained house on wheels. Still, plenty of people seem to like them. The roads are full of them!

(It’s 0716 and not a Pensioner has stirred [ even been shaken])

Wherever you are, have a great day anyway.

We know this much about politics today. It is global. The elites that have seized control of our governments coordinate across borders.

  4. useless f&g cunts, weve had multiple meetings and promises made over the past 3 years, were even told a few months ago that this summer we would be able to remove the buildup on several beaches nearby but nope looks like it wont happen this year.

    https://www.farmersweekly.co.nz/news/southland-feds-slam-toxic-behaviour-from-fish-game/

i suspect the same issue is nationwide, canterbury esp but down here after the last 2 big floods the gravel build up has been horrific and the feds are right, its completely choking the river and reducing flood capacity, it will for certain end badly for gore, mataura and wyndham.

the gravel extraction isnt even supposed to go below the waterline so im fucked if i know why f&g are holding it up? the buildup was to get skimmed down to 100-150mm above the water level so how the hell is that gunna mess with fish?

  5. Been lying here in our 1985 Ford Trader, closer to $1500 than $150,000, listening to the sounds of waves breaking here at Waikouaiti. National Dahlia Dinner was last night as the National Dahlia Championships are on were we were lucky enough to win six trophies. The shame of it all there was not one person there last night under 50 but as most of us are aware of that this is not unusual within all sorts of clubs and organizations in New Zealand these days.
Perhaps SB in his haste to get rid of us all will one day look around and realize just what has gone from the traditional fabric of New Zealand and be just a little less selfish.

    • HP, wifey has started entering a few flower shows etc. she commented aswell that it felt kind of weird as she was by far the youngest one there, my 10yr old daughter loves it too and enters where she can but oddly theres age restrictions on some shows and categories?

btw hp i think youve wandered off into the dull humourless boomer expanse where no one can take a joke or accept criticism.

      • No haven’t wandered into any zone but probably just cannot be bothered with stupid crap so much.. As a person I have always been fairly quick on the repartee humour and a great believer in the fact that if you give it you must be prepared to take it.
Personally I don’t believe put down shit is humour.
In the meantime it is now 3 years since you wouldn’t accept my free offer of Dahlia tubers for your wife as you didn’t want to distract her from doing your bidden. Great to see she is now becoming more independent and taking her daughter along with her. Make sure you keep a dog so you will be able to continue to boss someone around.
        The offer for tubers remains.

  6. Tarquin, hope your Sunday is full of joy ’cause soon it will be time to pay the IWI to float your Waka on newly found water claim.

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/kahu/landmark-court-hearing-begins-to-decide-customary-titles-in-whangarei-harbour/LULW52W7OFEVFIBQX3EDBPJXDA/

If you do not know what the CMT (Customary Marine Title) gives Maori, here is a short precis.

A CMT would potentially give the iwi and hapū veto rights on resource consent applications; conservation permission right for conservation activities, the right to create planning documents, rights concerning certain minerals, rights concerning newly found taonga tūturu (an object that relates to Māori culture, history, or society), and the right to be consulted on marine mammal watching permits and restrict access to wāhi tapu sites.

    • So does this mean that TAH, this new government has not stopped this nonsense then??? I am so sick and tired of all this for such a small population of them. When is this ever going to end does anyone think? Soon we won’t be able to visit the sea for any reason and will have to produce some paper to show our genealogy to prove a drop of maori blood before we are able to set foot on a beach let alone for a swim. No fishing will be allowed it just goes on and on. Oh and by the way I was here at 5.14 but no one else was here so I beggared off to get coffee then decided I would walk before I ventured on this site this morning.

      13

      0

      • Yep, Lizzie, this Government has not stopped this crap and I doubt they have any intention to do so.

Why, it would mean Nude Nut would have to go against his Mentor, John Key and Key’s Governments Legislation and we can’t have that. You can not have a national lead Government repealing a National Government policy and legislation, that would never do. Apart from that, it will all be too hard, but this will all turn to shit, with all the unintended consequences that the trojan horse, Christopher Finlayson foisted on this country when this Legislation was passed while the population was asleep.

    • Would this teacher be the one you remember, as having the best influence in your life?
Such joy, harmony, culture to be shared as inclusion. Extremely cultish.

Some where there is a millstone to be put out around a neck, & cast into the sea for harming, grooming young children.

There is very similar being taught in New Zealand schools.
Then as it build on that, in future older classes, to humiliate, via privilege, colour, de-colonialize, with that as form as a bulwark against rebelling.
To drip feed this in various ways, day after day for years when at school.

Sort of strange as certain kids will be taught, not to share in all this dialectical Hegelian double talk.
As in this thread, who, when will this be called out, & stopped.

  7. The point of pushback that you are describing is not likely to come soon because the population hasn’t woken up yet. But eventually the former New Zealand will, I think, descend into civil war – and, as you say will not end well.

Although the underlying cause for war will be race, by the time it happens so many other factors such as poverty, crime etc will have emerged to muddy the waters that he root causes of the catastrophe will not easily be acknowledged. But the seeds are being sown now and they are the seeds of separatism and racial unrest.

    • I would advise maori to be wary of what they wish for. If you take it to it’s natural conclusion, maori will control almost everything. Everyone else will have to pay through the nose for the privilege of existing and will leave. Everything will fall to pieces. Nobody will want to work. Tax take will nose dive. Place will become a shit hole. Tourists won’t come. Maori tribes will fight each other. Back to square one.

      13

    • Nah. It won’t be over race. It’s any prick trying to assert their dominance over us – the great unwashed. So tribal elites and lefty scum.

Regular Maori aren’t the enemy IMO. They’re just like any other human – given perks and goodies, they have a tanty when those perks and goodies are taken away.

    • Defintely, be like Japan and China.
Get rid of the bastards educated or not.
Plenty of nice people in the world.

But Willis wants to stop even the educated hard working good immigrants so we can replace them with lazy obesse, uneducated, barely able to speak , write or understand English, locals.
nope ship them out as well.

      • The real problem is how big a reservation & at what cost do we put the growing
” lazy obesse, uneducated, barely able to speak , write or understand English, locals.
Yet they will also be free to roam, park cars beyond the parking space, set up road blocks, as enforcers, clip the ticket, etc..,
Eventually in the near future, some political party will be able to use them again, for even more effect, as enforcers.

This is the tragedy started last century, that has insidiously been continued, & keeps increasing, as now we can see how it is forming.

will love their children more than they hate us. Golda Meir & reset some of their priorities in life?

Thomas Sowell — ‘When people get used to preferential treatment, equal treatment seems like discrimination.’

As I posted this subversion this morning above, which is also deeply entrenched to the New Zealand’s education system also.

    • I thought it was a pretty good effort for what he covered. He talks a good talk, let’s see if he can walk the walk. I reckon they’ve done a good job in the first 80 days.
EXCEPT what his speech didn’t cover, and that’s race relations and the treaty. If he thinks he can swerve around this and just find the track again on the other side, he’s got another think coming. It’s too big an issue for too many people, and now that it’s being discussed people want it dealt with. Maybe we should thank the last government for doing one thing, and that’s kowtowing to, and amplifying the grievance industry to such an extent that even the moderately apolitical are pricking up their ears and paying attention.

  8. Is A.I sifting out woke academics from the workforce?

As firms increasingly rely on artificial intelligence-driven hiring platforms, many highly qualified candidates are finding themselves on the cutting room floor.

Businesses are increasingly relying on them. A late-2023 IBM survey of more than 8,500 global IT professionals showed 42% of companies were using AI screening “to improve recruiting and human resources”. Another 40% of respondents were considering integrating the technology.
Many leaders across the corporate world hoped AI recruiting tech would end biases in the hiring process. Yet in some cases, the opposite is happening. Some experts say these tools are inaccurately screening some of the most qualified job applicants – and concerns are growing the software may be excising the best candidates.

    • There is more of us than of them.

But do not underestimate those Pseudo expert, elites as they have also marched through our institutions & warped them to their purposes.

… Sun Tzu —- If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat.
If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle. ….

Chang Yu said: “Knowing the enemy enables you to take the offensive, knowing yourself enables you to stand on the defensive.”
He adds: “Attack is the secret of defense; defense is the planning of an attack.”
It would be hard to find a better epitome of the root-principle of war. …

  9. Did you see the team NZ boat had a fire, and they had to flood a forward hold with water as it was a lithium battery fire. Can’t find it in the ferald now, it’s gone up in smoke. Which is better than burning a hole in the bottom of the boat and sinking!

    4

    0

    • No amount of water will put out the chemical reaction that is a lithium fire. It burns until it runs out the chemicals but setting the rest of the material; around it on fire.
That’s why it is so dangerous. Litjium fires burn at 4000 degrees whereas combustion fires burn in a house at around 1200 degrees.
It is also why when a house fire is a lithium the houses generally get totalled.

It is also what the fire service are pushing for connected smoke alarms. They want people out knowing that no sprinkler system is going to save a building.

  10. RFK Jr. Scores Big Win In Lawsuit Accusing Biden Admin Of Censoring COVID Vaccine Info
Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has notched a victory in his legal battle against alleged government censorship of statements he made on social media that were critical of the COVID-19 vaccines.
    https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/federal-judge-hands-rfk-jr-win-lawsuit-accusing-biden-admin-censoring-covid-19-vaccine-info

The third example was online suppression of facts and opinions about COVID-19 vaccines “that might lead people to become ‘hesitant’ about COVID vaccine mandates, again depriving Americans of information and opinions on matters of the highest public importance.”

In his order, Judge Doughty found that Mr. Kennedy and the other plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits that the defendants colluded to influence the actions of private social media companies “by ‘insinuating’ themselves into the social-media companies’ private affairs and blurring the line between public and private action.”

He also sided with the complaint in determining that the Biden administration’s actions represented a “substantial risk of harm” to Mr. Kennedy and the other plaintiffs.

“And it is certainly likely that Defendants could use their power over millions of people to suppress alternative views or moderate content that they do not agree with in the upcoming 2024 national election,” Judge Doughty wrote.

The censoring of the jab information which is more and more being exposed which the deadly results for millions of people. Is that not a good enough reason or are you becoming the Lords censor these days?
Sadly its likely the kid died from a jab reaction or fentanyl.
No reason why it should be hidden given the censoring of the last 4 years. None at all.

    Trump launches a sneaker line

“I’ve wanted to do this for a long time,” Trump said when he announced the launch of a sneaker line at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia.

In his brief remarks at the sneaker launch, Trump indicated the line could be an effort to reach out to younger supporters, saying, “We’re going to turn this country around fast. We’re going to turn it around. And we’re going to remember the young people, and we’re going to remember Sneaker Con.”

  13. There once was a happy little fly buzzing around a barn one day when she happened upon a large pile of fresh cow manure. Since it had been hours since her last meal and she was feeling hunger pangs, she flew down to the irresistible delicacy and began to munch out.

She ate and ate and then she ate some more !!! Finally, she decided she’d had plenty. She washed her face with her tiny front legs, belched a few times, then attempted to fly away.
But alas she had pigged out far too much and could not get off the ground.

She looked around wondering what to do about this unpleasant situation when she spotted a pitchfork leaning upright against the barn wall. She’d found a solution!! She realised if she could just become airborne she’d be able to fly.
So, she, painstakingly, climbed to the top of the handle. Once there, she took a deep breath, spread her tiny fly wings, and leaped confidently into the air.

She dropped like a rock and splattered all over the floor.

Moral of the Story: “Never fly off the handle when you know you’re full of shit!”

  14. We have just put in our submissions on the proposed changes to the World Health Regulations and the proposed Treaty.
Did you realise that under the Treaty, countries would have give funding of at least 5% of their respective Health budgets. For NZ this would be about $1.5billion every 2 years. That alone should be enough reason tell them where to stick their Treaty.

  15. I see the coalition have been cavorting with demons at the big gay day.

    1. Gays life expectancy is 11 years less than heterosexual. That’s not good.

    2. 80% of trannies attempt suicide.

    3. There are more ex-gays than gays. The vast majority of people heed their biology and form normal relationships.

Gays will throw naïve politicians in the wood chipper, if they are given endless power and sanctimony. Dumb.
