    • On some of it yes he could be funny, but when he didnt get agreed with it was revert to child like behaviour of name calling, everyone was a nazi etc, if anyone dared to call him out or disagree he could never argue his point just devolve into an abusive wanker that really dragged the tone down.
It is just a shame that others have fallen away, differing view points was good as with out them it just becomes an ecco chamber. Just no need for constant abuse spewing, will admit that a bit every now and then is worth it.

      • As yet, no one has missed Ronnie. Strange that, when they were the same person.
FYI You don’t know how close I am to saying fuck this. I don’t need all this shit, and close YSB down.
If someone else wants to take it over, send me an email.

        • yeah but the sparring partners mostly left too, hunty for example hardly here now cuz you banned his reason to come on here

im sure vikey would love to go on a power trip and wreck whats left of ysb.
mandates and covid madness ended… decline in users
jacinda and labour gone… more decline in users
banning on a free speech blog… more decline

death by nowhere near a thousand cuts, if stuff collapses or wg boycotts youtube then ysb wont have much content.
you need a new jacinda or pandemic to add fuel to the fire Ed.

        • I would be very sorry to see you shut down Ed, maybe those wanting Kea and Ronnie back are supporting the idea that we should have someone that calls everyone a Nazi I for one do not enjoy being called that, as I am an older member of the YSB lot, and have an extreme hatred of Nazis and I have my own reasons for that. I am sure the real estate market has never recovered from Kea being banned.Yet it seems that house prices are rising yet again. His hatred of Jews knew no bounds. People never seem to get the fact that you are offering us all a service, and their ability to be part of YSB is based on what you hold to be OK and as it is your blog, its all your choice no one has the right to know why you do anything.

        • People were united from 2020 (and earlier) by a common hatred – a fair word- for ardern up to the end of 2022.
This was justified. Horseshit was rolling out daily from that dictatorial puss-bucket of evil.

Then 2023 rolled around. ADrain. like johnny keys, ran away.
By March 2023 it was clear there would be a change.
By how much and in what areas was the question.

So things were lively until October 2023.
Then there was a one month hiatus of goo-mint formation.
          Interest waned.
Liebour was gone. What exactly would replace it ?
          We have it now.
The passion for venting has been somewhat relieved.
It will really be September before we see if there is a real effect.

At least some things have been done; like the Auckland fuel tax goes out the day teevee tree news stop the spews.
Wayne Brown has had a year longer and has nothing to show for his time. That has not been a surprise.
Apartheid maori health gone, and so on.

I think the current mob esp driven by ACT are committing to some changes that were promised.
Without ACT/NZF notional would be BAU.
ie. Do bugger all. A glorified caretaker goomint, like they were from 2008 to 2017.

It is nearly 5 years since the Brenton Tarrant (and others ? ) event and therefore nearly 5 years since Ed provided this platform.
It has been a good run but the uniting force against the sheer tyranny we faced for 6 years has waned considerably.

If Ed closes this it at least provided a like minded platform when we needed it- without Pain in the azz moderators – while we were under the thumb of what history shows was a dictatorial, dishonest, anti-democracy, globalist-oriented, money burning, debt building, near-totalitarian regime.

        • It would be a very sad day if this blog closed down. I generally follow the leads here in finding out whats going on in New Zealand, as I will never bother with the MSM. Its a place where I can have a rant, have a laugh with people I don’t know and may never meet, yet consider them in some ways closer friends than some of my extended family. Freedom and freedom of speech is heavily under attack by the combined “forces of evil” and blogs like this are an important part of the fight against this tyranny.

            • Ed. I am beyond grateful to you for
providing a platform for free speech.

I cannot begin to imagine how much
opposition you must have had, to endure
with putting yourself in the firing line of
evil, agenda driven left- wing cunts who
must have tried to shut you, and this blog
              down.
My sincere thanks and gratitude to you,
for your courage, tenacity and commitment
for standing up against media / digital tyranny.
              Bon.

          • The Governments Road to Zero …The Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2022 requires local Councils to prepare a speed management plan to set area speed limits.
That has been wiped, the trouble is the left infested pubic service is not acting in accordance with the Governments wishes,
There have been some resignations but no significant changes yet. the continued maorification at TV One is a real barometer of this – the cricket is particularly bad
The question will be if in time they have the courage, knowledge or will to change all this. Lets give them some time. Remember President Trump went into power to clean out the Deep State – and he failed.

          • The rewrite of the firearms legislation will be the big test as far as I am concerned. I am not holding my breath, I expect Luxon will have received his instructions from the WEF to continue the push to disarm us all.

            0

            • Luxon regrettably has made a huge mistake re his Wellington Housing allowance irrespwective of the rules it was a bad look that the house he owned pre entering parliament should become an income source – possible tax free – had Luxon immediately admitted it was an error and repaid little damage would have benn done but he has only acted due to public pressure so the public perception of his belated change of mind will leave an element of distrust in his integrity that will take time and require good decisions to erase.

    • Morning Troopers.

Look I don’t know what you’re all complaining about, or expect, but it looks to me that the Govt are getting on and getting things done exactly as promised. They’ve pulled out all stops and look like they’re checking all the boxes on their 100 day plan. They are doing better than I predicted.

I’m no Luxon fan, but everyone likes to take a shot. If I couldn’t live in Premiere House and instead had to live in my own apartment, it would mean I was forgoing the $1000 a week I could have got for renting the apartment. I’d bloody well take the $52K a year, WHICH I’M ENTITLED TO, as well. And you can be bloody sure Hipkins, Ardern, and any of their leftard mates, who are currently screaming blue murder, would’ve too. Can you imagine Willie Jackson, Marama Davidson or Rawiri Waititi saying, “Na, she’s right Bro, you keep the $52,000”.

      19

      0

      • sagz, the 52k shouldnt even be there to start with!
then luxon and willis have bleated on about no money, needing to shave costs etc etc only to have someone on 500k+ per year be so hard up he cant pay his own rent/mortage like most other kiwis have to do.
willis didnt even think of cutting allowances and salaries 6.5% either, hope the scum media attack that next.

        6

        2

          • no i determine they shouldnt get it at all because its just wrong. only dole bludgers get their rents paid and its a hell of alot less then 1k per week.
1k ffs, setup a a bunch of dongas on parliament lawn and make the fuckers live there.

          • Perhaps we should bowl it over and build lots of Kaianga Ora houses there instead. (joking of course), but it seems every time we change the govt or have a new PM this place needs a revamp or if not there the Riddiford estate.
Key had an extra building at his palace for the security detail to live in.
            Blenglish had a govt. house.
Maybe we should sell all that stuff and require them to make their own arrangements.

This housing people at the expense of others is a crap notion of the socialists.

By the way watch out for Wolfbrooke builders. Building hen houses all over the place, funded ultimately by Kaianga ora.
Blenglish is about to slam the brakes on that stuff. Might be others as well.
Within a very short distance of me they are building something like 100 units, all in the construction stage. Seems they and others are doing this all around the country.
Williams from Christchurch started the same. Completed one and now have 4 lots of land up for sale along with their 6 million dollar yacht.

Contractors you have a problem. Make sure you get paid.

      • Willie and his bro Rarwillie would jump to take 50 cents off the tax payer, let alone $50k. If it was them doing it they would just say: oi you racist its our right as descendants of early arrivers to claim dis money so piss of bro.////

      • Totally agree. And although the govt should be looking to save every dollar, in the scheme of it, $52k is nothing. I was reading last night that committed Three Waters costs amount to $45 million or so?

Those commie scumbags dug a hole of over a hundred BILLION dollars, and now their supporters seem to have collective amnesia.

I’m becoming more of a NN fan – anyone who upsets the commies is good by me.

      • Why don’t our media chase up these MPs. this as reported October last year.
At least 20 MPs are claiming up to $45,000 a year allowance to stay in their own Wellington homes, a perk that sees the taxpayer help politicians pay off their mortgages.

Four ministers (Duncan Webb, Jan Tinetti, Deborah Russell and Willie Jackson) claimed the capped allowance, of up to $45,000 a year, to cover living costs in the city. They then use it to pay rent on property they already own.

Four Government MPs (Arena Williams, Jenny Salesa, Jamie Strange and Sarah Pallet) claim an entitlement of up to $31,000 per year.

        • And yet Pinky, I saw the Ginga Whinger, the lying little prick that is Christopher Hipkins, grizzling about Nude Nut on TV last night and the fact that Nude Nut was taking $52,000 in Accommodation Rebates that he is entitled legally too..

What pissed me off was that the lying little arsehole that is Hipkins, could not say, his own Labour Party MP’s were guilty of taking the same legal Accommodation Rebate and that he, Hipkins complained he could not get, it but did not point out he was not entitled to it in any way, being a resident of Wellington.

What pissed me off even more was the MSM who were there at the interview, never asked Hipkins if any Labour MP took the subsidy and if they did, why was it edited out?

But I note, that while all the Labour MP’s that have taken this subsidy, none, not one, unlike Nude Nut have had either the Balls or decency to pay it back.

Labour and Hipkins, New Zealand’s most hypocritical arseholes, without exception, on full display.

      • It is a pity that Luxon should have said, yes I am entitled.
So I am giving the money to a charity!

For real conniptions he should say he is giving the money to the Waipareira Trust CEO John Tamihere

….For the past 30 years, Waipareira have provided free services and support for whānau of all ages in West Auckland – health, legal, housing and education. ….
        https://www.waipareira.com/about-us

Surely such a charity of that size is ably run?
It was ably supported with funds & resources from the previous government has built it up to do that mission statement, particularly about housing & accommodation.
Tell me what is wrong with that?

Now who can criticize that ? ? ?

“we voted for this change”… um yeah well incase you didnt notice there were very limited choices, southpark summed it up well once “you can vote for a giant douche or a turd sandwich” yup apparently a good democracy is when the powers that be put forth the most shittest, untrustworthy and hated people and you get to vote for the one you hate the least.

I do feel it is just as well NZFirst and ACT are in it together or I think the tides of change would be a lot slower.
I want to go to the local National Party meetings in order to speak about things – the trouble is I have to pay a $25 joining fee to go. Well at least with the demise of Democracy NZ I am a free agent again.

          • Someone mention somewhere yesterday that Peters speaking to the Doctors group at Parliament regarding how all 120 MP’s signed a pact not to talk to the protestors was not shown on any MSM – so I think the Media is avoiding him. Look how they held a meeting to discuss whether to broadcast him saying about them being woke.

That squawking Mark Jennings has directed that media cabal to shut things down on WP.
But so funny as WP seems to be defending, showing that govt. should support the news gathering systems.
Or is it that WP is really seeking his way of control of the news media, a nice revenge, but more of the same as “a la WP” 🙂

            • This has clearly been the case for the last 6 years and likely well before.

the so-called ‘news’ in NZ is heavily sanitised and ‘the message’ coordinated BEFORE the ‘story’ is released.

I have given the example before on here of 2019 White Island.
The overseas media were reporting within 2 hours of a change. The same shit -or less, and sanitised -came out from NZ media at least 15 hours later.
Very delayed. Ie. Not ‘news’ but ‘olds’
They have been doing this sanitisation for years.

The real outcome from this is that since it is all all coordinated then there is only need for one outlet. Close all the rest down .

              • Very true. Seldom argued better than by Orwell in 1984:

“Talking to her, he realized how easy it was to present an appearance of orthodoxy while having no grasp whatever of what orthodoxy meant. In a way, the world-view of the Party imposed itself most successfully on people incapable of understanding it. They could be made to accept the most flagrant violations of reality, because they never fully grasped the enormity of what was demanded of them, and were not sufficiently interested in public events to notice what was happening. By lack of understanding they remained sane. They simply swallowed everything, and what they swallowed did them no harm, because it left no residue behind, just as a grain of corn will pass undigested through the body of a bird.”

NZ First may survive after Winston. How long has he got in the world.?
Act are still of the left and whats worse they betrayed their very own ethos of Freedom to choose. We still don’t know why do we?
Not amount of garbage you spew back will change any of those things.
Thats how the Democrats work and how they remain in power. Same shit , different country. Aussie the same. Canada even worse.

  2. Looks like the tide is turning:

    1. Cholnan Srikaew, the health minister of Thailand, said on Thursday that recreational marijuana will be banned by the end of 2024. Thailand was the first Southeast Asian country to legalize medical marijuana in 2018, followed by recreational use in 2022. The health minister said recreational marijuana should be banned because “the misuse of cannabis has a negative impact on Thai children,” and “in the long run, it could lead to other drugs.”

    https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2024/02/29/thailand-ban-recreational-marijuana-end-2024/

    2. Back in Year One of George Floyd (2020), Democrats in Oregon decriminalized drug use. Then reality hit and hit hard, and now Democrats in Oregon are seeking to recriminalize drug use.
By a 60 percent margin, the lunatic voters of Oregon passed Measure 110 in November of 2020.

    2. The result?

Recent federal data show Oregon had the steepest increase in the country of overdose deaths since the pandemic started – by a staggering 1,500%. Nearly 1,000 people in Oregon died from opiate overdoses in 2022. Public health officials warn the crisis shows no signs of abating.
    The result?
According to data from the mayor’s office, there were roughly four times more homicides in 2022 than [Portland’s] 20-year average, with 96 homicides — a significantly higher number than other west coast cities.

I blame the strict 21 age for drinking and the fact most bars were beer and wine only , unless they had a restaurant attached then they could have hard liquor ,but not takeaway liquor that was restricted to a little hole in the wall with limited hours .

In the US your goomint can compel you to go to another country and kill the locals. They did this in the 1940s, 1960s, 1970s.
You can volunteer to do this at other times without compulsion.

So they think at 19 or 20 you are old enough to take another person’s life, or many lives,

  3. I was round as my uncle’s yesterday and he gave me a booklet “The Treaty of Waitangi an Explanation” – Sir Apriana Ngata. It small and will be an easy read. About time I got better informed given the amount I bang on about it.

These booklets are being distributed by NZCPR and basically $20 will get you 10 copies to give to your mates as well as people you want to wind up.

Here’s the website with order form.

      • The Tiriti o Waitangi was only 1 of 6 Documents that made New Zealand into a British Colony with a Governor and Constitution that set up New Zealand’s political, legal and justice systems under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed. Governments have completely ignored the other 5 documents that have allowed the Tiriti o Waitangi to be manipulated and mis-interpreted never intended by those who signed it in 1840. The Six Documents are;
        1. Letter from the 13 Ngāpuhi Chiefs – 1831. The government ignores the letter the 13 Ngāpuhi chiefs wrote to the King of England asking him to be their guardian and protector. This letter shows Maori were in trouble and needed British protection, not only from themselves, but they were afraid New Zealand was about to be annexed to France.

        2. Declaration of Independence – 1835. The government ignores the Declaration of Independence that was a complete failure as the chiefs could not form a united body to claim sovereignty over New Zealand. A fact ruled by Chief Justice, Sir James Prendergast in 1877, “No political body existed capable of making cession of sovereignty.

        3. Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter – 1839. The government ignores Queen Victoria’s 1839 Royal Charter/Letters Patent that placed New Zealand under the dependency of New South Wales. Britain could not have placed New Zealand under the dependency of New South Wales if Maori had sovereignty over New Zealand.

        4. Tiriti o Waitangi – 1840. The government ignores the fact, the Tiriti o Waitangi only asked the Maori chiefs to give up their governments (Tribal control) to Queen Victoria in Article 1. Article 2 guaranteed both Maori and Pakeha the rights to their lands, settlements and property, and Maori could only sell their lands to the Crown at an agreed price. Article 3 made Maori British Subjects with the same rights as the people of England. No more, no less, no Partnership, and definitely no Co-governance, but since the Tiriti o Waitangi was signed, its Maori words have been continually mis-translated to give Maori special rights over all other New Zealand Citizens. As Attorney General, Sir Geofrey Palmer stated on the ABC in 1990, “It is, now, a document that is so vague and unclear, that is its primary problem”.

        5. Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter – 1840. The government ignores Queen Victoria’s 1840 Royal Charter/Letters Patent that separated New Zealand from New South Wales dependency and made New Zealand into a British Colony with a Governor and Constitution that created New Zealand’s Legislative and Executive Councils and granted authority to Governor Hobson to make laws. Without Queen Victoria’s 1840 Royal Charter/Letters Patent, New Zealand would have remained under the dependency and laws of New South Wales.

        6. First Sitting of the Legislative Council – 1841. The government ignores the First Sitting of the Legislative Council in 1841 that set up New Zealand’s political, legal and justice systems under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed.
Until we force governments to recognize these 6 Documents that made New Zealand into a British Colony under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed, the Tiriti o Waitangi and the history surrounding it will continue to be rewritten giving Maori special rights and privileges never intended by those who signed it at Waitangi on 6 February 1840 with the words, “He iwi tahi tatou – We are now one people”, before being taken around the country and signed by over 500 chiefs.
There is no other document in New Zealand’s history that comes anywhere near to a true Founding Document and first Constitution than Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter/Letters Patent dated 16 November 1840, but we must not ignore the other 5 documents that made this possible.

During the covid years and the decade of zero bound interest. These things are worthless now. No one wants them. Trillion dollar write offs. The EU globalists need war. They need draconian totalitarian authority, or their eye watering investments, and the EU, are done.

Honest Abe went on a Govt Rampage, ramped up debt, and weapons manufacture to crush the agrarian south. The Empire part of Star Wars won, and has ruled since the 1860’s. 5. Thinking about how the general overall leanness and fitness of New Zealanders has changed over the years.
The sound of the fat tyres of the electric bike going past carrying the local postie, no more biking for them.
I remember Terry McGlashin, a former All Black, joined the Wellington Rubbish Collection workforce to run around the streets emptying the tins we used to have in order to gain maximum fitness – now the truck with clamps.
Farmers spending plenty of time in their utes and on 4 wheel bikes, stacking hay, moving sheep, all changed from days of old.
Even the trusty old push mower on the suburban home lawns, remember those days.
Let alone the fast food and drinks available everywhere, as a child of those times I can certainly see why .
A few Saturday morning thoughts on a great looking start to the day- high of 27 expected and the Annual March Hare Weekend Motor Bike gathering in Waimate for the umpteen time and 1000’s here for that.

    • I watched a video recently on gut health.

The variety and number of gut bacteria has reduced in human intestines. Humans used to browse natural foods eating a wide variety of whatever was available and getting exercise while hunting for it. With fast food and commercial food with fillers and preservatives and pesticides, etc gut flora has suffered. Fast daily lives and stress, etc also contribute. Mothers are now passing less micro-flora to their babies and they go on to eat poor diets hence the population is getting fatter and sicker.

Every day he takes a walk around the pond, sits on a bench and feeds the ducks.
After a few months, a new resident moves in, Mrs. Schwartz, who he sees sitting on the bench. Apparently she likes walking too.
They decide to walk together every day.
He meets her out front, they walk, sit on the bench, feed the ducks.
This goes on for a few months. One day Mr. Finklestein turns to Mrs. Schwartz and says, “You know, it’s been so long since I’ve had any female contact.
Would you mind just putting your hand in my pants and holding my schmeckel?
You don’t have to do anything, just hold it.”
Mrs. Schwartz agrees and they continue this for several months.
One say Mrs. Schwartz comes down for her walk.
    No Mr. Finklestein in sight.
So she goes walking alone and in the distance she sees Mr. Finkelstein sitting on their bench, only now he’s with her friend, Mrs. Goldberg, with her hand in his pants.
    She’s livid.
When Mrs. Schwartz gets close to them she yells, Mr. Finkelstein! How could you do this to me? What has Mrs. Goldberg got that I ain’t got?”
    He answers, “Parkinsons!”

Relentless house price inflation is related intimately with the destruction of the purchasing power of money. When your investment condo doubles in value, the value of your NZ peso halves.

He said: “PM Christopher Luxon is betraying the voters. He is destroying free speech. He is destroying democracy. We must take action”.

Tamaki said Luxon “shows signs of continuing with a … liberal, socialist, globalist agenda”, echoing his opinions about Jacnida Arden’s premiership.

“Kiwis voted Luxon and National in, to get Labour, Ardern & [Chris] Hipkins out … how dare he now invite the monster [Ardern] back in, at the taxpayer’s expense.”

He claimed Luxon stated New Zealanders wouldn’t get the chance to debate Treaty issues.

Brian Tamaki’s Freedom and Rights Coalition is marching throughout the country, calling on the Prime Minister to defend free speech and allow the Act Party’s Treaty referendum.

An event in Auckland is slated for 11am today at the Domain. Meetings at Wellington’s Civic Square and Christchurch’s Bridge of Remembrance are at the same time.

And Tamaki said the protests would be rolling throughout March..
He has now also planned a “mass gathering” at Parliament for next Tuesday, “for the crowd to put their challenge directly to [Prime Minister] Christopher Luxon”, he said.

He said this protest was a response to his claim the Prime Minister was “destroying free speech” by “obstructing a referendum on Treaty of Waitangi issues” and “inviting the monster [Ardern] back in, at the taxpayer’s expense”.

This was a reference to the Prime Minister having ruled out his party’s support for Act’s Treaty Principles Bill beyond the select committee processes last month. The bill, if passed, would have led to a referendum held on Act’s interpretation of the Treaty Principles.

Tamaki said Luxon had “shut down the democratic process” by doing this.

“Luxon needs to terminate Jacinda Ardern’s role in the Christchurch Call immediately, and cease the $500,000-plus budget per annum she has access to from taxpayer’s money.

  13. From the Taxpayers Union :

During the campaign, the now governing parties all committed to delivering overdue (and much needed) tax relief to hard-working Kiwis. We had promises of cut backs to wasteful spending, and consigning many of Labour’s unaffordable taxes to the policy scrapheap.

But three months into the new Government, the election promises are already falling away.

A few weeks ago, Jordan wrote to you about the enormous 39% “Trust Tax-grab” – a Labour Party legacy of Grant Robertson’s that Nicola Willis appears to have U-turned on. Recall that IRD advised that Labour’s (and now National’s) trust tax-hike will result in 89% of New Zealand’s trusts being over-taxed. That’s family trusts, farm trusts, and family owned businesses set to be in the IRD’s sites.

In the days and weeks to come, we’ll have more to say on the Trust Tax-grab, but today I’m emailing you about a totally separate U-turn where National are poised to lock-in Labour’s high-tax legacy.

For weeks, our grassroots team have been fielding questions from hundreds of our supporters who have realised that despite the pre-election promises, they are about to be hammered.

National are preparing to keep Labour’s 15% App Tax 🙅‍♂️
Labour’s App Tax is a 15% sales tax paid for by the mum and dad accommodation providers, takeaway joints, and ride share drivers. The App Tax hits sole-traders who sell their services through an app or website such as Uber or Airbnb. It will add even more to the costs of living for every Kiwi who buys or books services online.

This is one where the media, yet again, aren’t doing their job so we’re blowing the whistle before it is too late.

Labour managed to spin this new tax as hitting the big tech companies. But all of the app/website companies where the App Tax applies are already paying GST on their income. The big companies are just the scapegoat. According to IRD, 100% of the App Tax hits small-scale suppliers and Kiwi consumers who will be paying more from 1 April.

For any other small or micro-business, IRD’s $60,000 de minimus amount applies before a taxpayer is required to register for GST. But not under this new App Tax. If you rent your spare bedroom, or family bach for just one night through an app, your earnings will uniquely be taxed.

Or say you want to give Uber a try? If you register to drive just for a single day you too, will be hit in the pocket (along with your passenger!).

This new tax will see you pay up to 15% more across the board when buying services through apps from 1 April 💸
Before the election, Nicola Willis pledged to scrap Labour’s App Tax. In fact, the National Party even launched a website called [checks notes] ‘Scrap Labour’s App Tax!’.

But just weeks into Government Ms Willis wants to plough ahead with Grant Robertson’s policy. That is despite IRD officials indicating that the tax is so complex, and unfair, they assumed it would not proceed and had stopped working on it. But that has suddenly all changed.

To put it simply, this isn’t what New Zealanders voted for, and for those struggling to make ends meet driving for Uber, or renting the spare bedroom on Airbnb, it’s a kick in the teeth.

In fact, one of the best cases against this App Tax came from then Opposition Finance Spokesperson Nicola Willis before the election. In a media release last year, she said:

“This is simply another tax grab from Labour to fuel their wasteful spending. When they run out of their own money, they come after yours…

“Inland Revenue advised the Government that this tax would be ‘passed on fully to consumers’ and that ‘[this] will increase the cost to consumers of purchases made through digital platforms by up to 15 per cent’.

“This means that someone that uses a ride sharing app twice a week could be paying hundreds of dollars extra a year…

“Rather than hitting multinationals as Labour claimed it would, this tax will instead hit Kiwi app users and the Uber drivers, Bookabach providers and the like who use apps to connect with their customers.

“We will fight against this new tax every step of the way. National opposes the App Tax and if elected we will reverse it.”

    • Most effect of this will be on small Airnb owners and customers.
Customers will pay more and the owners will collect the GST. what happens next depends on the turnover of the entity. If less than 60k nothing. More than 60K ) and this will push some into that area), then they will have to account for the GST incoming and outgoing.
for those already over 60K nothing much changes except the selling price of the accommodation.
But in the use of that accommodation by businesses that already claim GST it will be claimable.

Definitely not going to affect the booking companies except that will have to account for the GST part of their booking service. ( A service supply with in NZ).
Roughly the some as we are supposed to be charged GST on things we buy oversea’s.
      Few do I suspect.

    • But SA, there is not a word on the Tax disparity between ordinary business, both public and privately owned and the Tax level enjoyed by Maori Trusts, Iwi owned and Maori owned business.

If these Maori owned entities were Taxed at the same level as everyone else, and there was a level playing field, there would be no need to rape and pillage the ordinary citizens business or Family Trust and nor would these Maori owned business have an undue and unfair cost and pricing advantage.

It is long overdue that the IRD, ACT< NZF, National, and Willis addressed this disparity.

The audio, obtained by Margarita Simonyan via a security service source, also explicitly suggests that of the approximate 100 missiles intended for Ukraine, up to 20 would be used to destroy the Crimea Bridge, a vital crossing between the peninsula and mainland Russia.

According to the Bundeswehr officials, the Taurus missiles could be used by British launchers, that already are in Ukraine, however, setting them up would take around eight months

No high glow vests, no helmets, no safety goggles. The latter I disagree with, you must wear goggles at least and earplugs. But no cones! No signs! You use your brain and think…ahhaa workers! Slow down. Give them some room. Fuck the West and all of their HSE bollocks.

        • Agree entirely. We had someone dig a hole in our paddock with a digger. There was a slight accident and emergency services were called out to help the poor soul. Anyway that night and the following day fucking Nazis from worksafe were on my case. Worst organization ever to torment working New Zealanders. Just look at the White Island fiasco….

          • ^ loves slow expensive low quality roadworks.
ffs vikey if it was dangerous as fark they would hurry the fuck up and get the job done quicker.
nz roading contractors have perfected the art of taking 4½ months to complete a 3day job.

            • Don’t necessarily disagree with the time issue.
Having a son who has been on the roads, I would with the safety issue.
There are plenty of mad women and stupid mad fella’s who drive these things.
Consider this, you know those big bumper trucks that they use with big flashing arrows.
My other son does engineering for a company with them. They have been hit more than a few times.
Think about the house movers. again a friend had one of these companies for years. You know houses and trucks light up like xmas trees, vehicles in front and back.
They still get hit. Its like moths to the light.
Saftey is an issue and that’s why they do it. So they can go home at the end of the day.
don’t believe me go try a job like that.

Put up with the dust and crap and fumes and the arsehols that drive cars thru their workplace.

                There is 400 of them.

                They Outbreed mice or rabbits.

  21. Sonny Bill Williams meets with Muslim cleric who is banned from UK amid claims his words justified terrorism and fostered hatred

Sonny Bill Williams has had a one-on-one audience with a controversial Muslim cleric who is banned from the UK amid allegations from former British Prime Ministers David Cameron and Theresa May that he preached hate.

The code-hopping former sports star – who has sparked controversy with his views in the wake of the Hamas terror attack on Israel, and Israel’s response – returned to Australia this week after a trip to Malaysia.

  22. James O’Keefe with his hidden camera has since been banned at every one of their nationwide gym outlets for catching out the democrat judge after women complained about the creepy behaviour of Engoron. When JO asked for a reason for being banned he was told “just because”. She must have been a democrat supporter.

  23. Hii Mates, help me give praise to mighty Jesus the Lord, 4 months ago i was homeless after these charity scammers made me donate to their program. All my savings , i passed on mortgages until it was far due and almost lost my home, this was my reality for 11 months until my inlaw Jason introduced me to this legal hacking agency Email: refundpolici (at) gmail (dot) com who does recovery and many other technical things, Their service is completely free until the recovery is done. The Lady took my informations and the scammers information to start their job. it took them roughly 48 hours and my recovery was done and i started receiving my recovered funds bit by bit within 24 hours until it was all completely sent into my personal account. If anyone here has similar issues, i kindly urge you to try to recover your funds while you still can, it is unrecoverable after 4 years and there are only a very very few real recovery hackers out here. This is where they reply quickest Wassap: +1 ( 6 5 7 ) 2 6 2 4 4 8 2
