    • Surely an immigration decision where criminal convictions are involved is not complex? Australia is setting an example of cleaning out those citizens of other countries with criminal convictions. Must be easier not to accept them in the first place or turn them out if they offend after entry.

More simply, quarantine all New Zealanders in those islands east of Australia, until the insanity has finished. 🙁 and a sanity certificate is issued.

    • Another useless report by an academic.. Hubby chooses to continue working while on the pension and ALREADY PAYS SECONDARY TAX on his pension. If he gave up working, he would be paying much less tax, secondary and the loss to the country of his main income tax. As I’m also employed by our business the country would also lose my income tax.

In any case it is the total income earned for the year that matters. If you have over or underpaid tax it’s sorted out after the 31st March. You’d have to be living hand to mouth for it to make much difference.

  1. A use of the political system of diversity to an open borderless world.
An easy travel system in Europe, arranged by a friendly politician for a few thousand dollars to get rich, and of course to have great controlled voters in their future home.

“Swedish elected politician caught smuggling illegals from Greece to Sweden”

…. I have smuggled all of my own family members. And many others. It isn’t difficult. ….
…. elected by the people and works directly with governmental and state offices ….
…. He has been a lay judge, a substitute and a municipal politician. ….

…… passports he uses. …. They belong to his relatives …. others who are not. ….. lend their passports are getting paid for it. ….
…. they know exactly how and for what goals these passports will be used. …..
…. those people are informed that these passports will be used illegally. ….

NZ has had its own political and departmental versions of this and still allow and so encourage this, in its different forms.
One would think that probably it is also happening in the Pacific, to gain access to New Zealand and, or to Australia, where the streets are paved with gold, free health care, accommodation, education, benefits, pensions, etc, a welfare system set and paid by the existing taxpayers that are extorted, with menaces.
A future of much more tightening up of passports and visas, residency or allow a free flow to the “borderless” world.

      • Immigration control is only as good as its weakest link.
        Is it flagged?
Who in the department may make it an issue?.
Would it be deemed racist if you did and also looking it to could be deemed contrary to the signed up UN migration Pact.?
Just an area waiting to be tested, to set new precedents.

A good question, but I still wonder if customs, immigration, just like its minister, with computerization etc. can fudge things, or accept some inane reasoning.

As in the above link, which airport, (ok not so applicable in NZ) and then do not mention you are Syrian but Palestinian is better.
Just a matter of trying, testing, where a soft touch can get them through.

  2. The NZ First leaks reveal a furious party fighting back against its leadership
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/10/the-nz-first-leaks-reveal-a-furious-party-fighting-back-against-its-leadership.html

“In fact, if its electoral donations are to be believed, it doesn’t have any. Instead, in the last two years it has received almost $200,000 in loans from an entity known as “The New Zealand First Foundation”.

This is not a registered company or a registered trust. The foundation has no website, and there’s almost no information about it available anywhere online.

So one of the coalition partners in our government – whose ministers are completely autonomous, the prime minister appears to have no power over them whatsoever – has a discretionary $3bn fund to give away, they’re actively and aggressively soliciting donations from the industries they’re dispensing the fund to, but no large donations are ever declared. Instead the party gains significant funding through loans from a mysterious foundation.

The New Zealand First Party’s annual conference is this weekend. It is very unlikely this episode is over.”

  3. I saw this comment on an Aussie website last night when a discussion started on Agenda 21 and globalism etc.
I think many Aussies have our Govt. sussed.

“While NZ is a globalist exercise in seeing how quickly a country with a small population, tiny history and absence of cultural and historical inertia may be brought to UNEP compliance under the heel of the failing NWO.

NZ is off to a scintillating start. It donated more than $10M to the Clinton Foundation (without the tax payers knowledge), launched United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 (without electoral knowledge), embraced UN Global Migration Compact (without electorally sanctioning, electoral knowledge or critical debate from the treacherous Leftist MSM) all this under the electoral radar, and:
    1. Endeavours to secularise or Is-lam-ify an otherwise Judeo-Christian nation and increase the abortion rate beyond the present 1:5 live births, while embracing elder assisted suicide
    2. Eradicate a leading engine of GDP, milk and wool CH4 producing agrarian quadrupeds.
    3. Embrace ethno-nationalism in the form of a sanctioned ethnic elite and UN GMC ‘multiculturalism’ for the remaining fetid hoi-polloi
    4. Banned all oil and gas exploration
    5. Ban coal and mining
    6. Banned prudent forest management in favour of a no touch policy
    7. Lock up huge regions of land in UN sanctioned World heritage protected sites, having hardly explored them
    7. Banned free speech

    9. Welcome the bureaucratic embrace of UN diktat at national and municipal levels and explicitly institutionalise neo-Marxism and its evil trinity of political correctness, cultural Marxism and identity politics, aka: “super-diversity.”

Recent Paris knifing killings of police at head quarters.
Harpon had caused alarm among his colleagues as far back as 2015, when he defended the massacre of 12 people at the Charlie Hebdo newspaper by two brothers vowing allegiance to al-Qaeda.

But even though a police official charged with investigating suspected radicalization among the force questioned the colleagues, none of them wanted to file an official complaint .

It seems that no one wants to criticize or comment about islam or any muslim.
They will keep quiet, so they will not lose jobs, or earn an opprobrium that will effect their families, from the rest of the brain washed about islamophobia.

Is that the same and coming to NZ? 🙁

    3. ‘And the priest goes out of the camp and the priest looks, and beholds that the sore of the leprosy of the leper is healed.’ 4. ‘And the priest commands, and takes, for the one healed, two unblemished live birds, cedar wood, Coccus scarlet, and hyssop.’ 5. ‘And the priest commands, and slaughters the one bird in a pottery vessel upon living water.’ 6. ‘He takes the live bird and the cedar wood and the Coccus scarlet and the hyssop and dips them and the live bird in the blood of the bird slaughtered upon the living water.’ 7. ‘And sprinkle seven times upon him purified of leprosy, and he is purified, and sends the live bird upon the face of the field.’

Note that both those moves mean less government and would save the country billions within a few years. Not because of what benefit payments cost, but in the wider social consequences that emerge from paying women to have kids.

  18. With Greta and the Extinction Rebellion ( good name for a pop group perhaps) so much in the news I have just watched this very interesting documentary from 2008.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYhCQv5tNsQ

The Great Global Warming Swindle caused controversy in the UK when it premiered March 8, 2007 on British Channel 4. A documentary, by British television producer Martin Durkin, which argues against the virtually unchallenged consensus that global warming is man-made. A statement from the makers of this film asserts that the scientific theory of anthropogenic global warming could very well be “the biggest scam of modern times.” According to Martin Durkin the chief cause of climate change is not human activity but changes in radiation from the sun. Some have called The Great Global Warming Swindle the definitive retort to Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth. Using a comprehensive range of evidence it’s claimed that warming over the past 300 years represents a natural recovery from a ‘little ice age’.
According to the program humans do have an effect on climate but it’s infinitesimally small compared with the vast natural forces which are constantly pushing global temperatures this way and that. From melting glaciers and rising sea levels, The Great Global Warming Swindle debunks the myths, and exposes what may well prove to be the darkest chapter in the history of mankind. According to a group of leading scientists brought together by documentary maker Martin Durkin everything you’ve ever been told about global warming is probably untrue. Just as we’ve begun to take it for granted that climate change is a man-made phenomenon, Durkin’s documentary slays the whole premise of global warming.
“Global warming has become a story of huge political significance; environmental activists using scare tactics to further their cause; scientists adding credence to secure billions of dollars in research money; politicians after headlines and a media happy to play along. No-one dares speak against it for risk of being unpopular, losing funds and jeopardizing careers.”

      • They remove videos, alter search results, change suggestions, change auto complete, and “recommend” videos that guide you towards the extreme left rather than your interests.

If you watch too many liberal videos, they will recommend more anti Trump far left fascist vids. They admit this openly.

    Deuteronomy 25:11-12

11 If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, 12 you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity.

  20. Maggy

There’s an item on TeAra which you may well have written:

    “Gold without mining

At Massey University, geologist Chris Anderson discovered a novel method of collecting gold – from plants grown on old mining lands with a high gold content. The chemically treated crops soak up the gold and store it in their roots and leaves. Experiments are continuing to see if this method can be developed commercially. If successful it may raise some interesting legal questions about who owns biologically accumulated gold.”

Did anything result from these experiments?

  21. ‘Practice what they preach’: Domestic violence charity Shine facing bullying, racism and fat-shaming claims from staff
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2019/10/practice-what-they-preach-domestic-violence-charity-shine-facing-bullying-racism-and-fat-shaming-claims-from-staff.html

“Shine stands for Safer Homes in New Zealand Everyday. It helps thousands of Kiwi families a year through domestic violence, and receives $2 million in government funding.

But a document leaked to Newshub contains damning feedback to management from some of Shine’s fifty personnel.

It suggests they “promote racism within staff”, that there is a lack of “basic respect” and there are “violent women putting down women”.

    • Same at the anti male hate group The Womans Refuge. A front for violent predatory bull dykes to prey on vulnerable straight women.

Lesbian relationships are orders of magnitude more violent than normal ones.

  22. At first I thought this was a call up for possible civil unrest in California. But, because it is dated 3/10/19 it must be for something else.
This could be to control the fall out from impending Dem arrests Trump has told us about.
Some in the know say it may be up to 40,000 personnel called up.
Durham and Barr are back in town so the evidence must be overwhelming.
Brennan is tentatively poised to be the first person arrested.

California might be the dems diversion tactic.

    • Way better idea than the re-landing booster gimmick that fraudster Musk is using, with billions in corporate welfare.

Musk has done less than the USSR did in the 50’s.

With 70 years of development, NASA, and countless billions in welfare, he has not contribute one single thing to space exploration or science.

  23. I don’t understand why this box is at the top, can there be one at both ends of the thread? I want to comment after I have seen what others have said so that I am not on repeat, or is it just me? Why should I have to go back to the top?

Don’t most people read before they post on their own daily peeve?
