Both alternative routs add at least half an hour and lots of corners.
They’re open some time in may, but they will be open over easter. The main way north is through Mangawai to Waipu. They won’t let anything except local traffic through Gorge road to Maungaturoto and apparently heavy traffic has to go through Dargaville or the Oakley Paparoa road. It’s not too bad through cove road from Mangawhai without the trucks and probably adds 20 minutes to half an hour to the trip.

There was an interesting Aussie program on last night called “Outback Farm” (I think). It showed the couple who were on the Outback Truckers program who went around with a water drilling rig trying to find water for the big stations. They have sold up that business and their Queensland home to buy a farm in southern NT. It was a farm setup to grow mainly watermelons and grapes, which went bust. So they are expanding the haymaking part of the operation. They bought it with two big centre pivot watering systems. Each covering 58 hts and are working on putting in 2 more pivots (at $190k each). The guy says they should get 6-7 cuts per year and generate about $1.5 million in revenue from that part of the farm.
I think he said the previous owners had put in about 20 wells at about 50meters to supply the water.

just googled, theyre going etf not actual bitcoin… you watch, theyll short the ETFs and make money on the usual crash at halving, buy the dip, pump then rinse and repeat.
ETFs may bring lots of money into it but its gunna be used buy the big boys to manipulate the market esp if options trading is allowed, the hedge funds are gunna have a fucking field day stealing all the crypto nerds money.
