  1. Morning, very cold this morning, thank goodness we have enough energy to keep the heat pump going, its certainly brisk, With all the new battery cars I am not sure that this power is going to carry on for enough time to keep the country warm as you have to have special fires in accordance with the recent regulations!!!!!!!! Anyway I think we are going to get through our winter heating allowance before long if this cold keeps up.
It looks as though the liarbor government left the country in a dreadful financial state, well get those fuckers off the couch and into work, stop allowing the solo mothers from breeding, one or two kids and that is it, stop the Waitangi tribunal and the tribes from all their handouts and life would be back on track. Is national brave enough? I doubt it very much.
Have a good day enjoy it while you still can, be safe.

    • Morning Lizzie and all.
      May be there is hope.
Simeon Brown made a statement in Parliament yesterday outlining the dire situation regarding gas supply . It was an impressive statement and the government is going to reverse the oil and gas exploration plugging by Labour.
What was a concern was Simeon still mentioned carbon emissions of course . The Nats are still controlled by net zero I guess.
Three pies replied and after getting over the sight of this frightening piece of flummy flam I noted the fixated false focus on renewables and total intransigence displayed by this word flourishing flailing excuse for a female.
It’s a start . Will we see some drilling start or more coal appear ?

      • Mine it. drill it, sell it.
Don’t leave it in the ground.
        Exploit exploit exploit.

Hey, just a counter measure to the hand wringing and nanny state shite.

OK if you don’t want to exploit the resources and still whinge about global boiling -its 4 degrees Celsius right now for moi – and people are concerned about enough resources to heat their home…
        Then
-ban all non essential flights to Fiji, Cook Islands and Gold Coast for the next 6 months
-Close the ski fields. The fossil fuel used to access these places is huge. And then the artificial heat in the accommodation.

Put ya money where a gob is….
There is a lot of hot air from climate retards. none of it useful.

wtf cnut, instead of scrapping youre bloody expanding it you lying pos. i guess chief bully luxon made that decision tho?
hope so cuz im gunna mark that down as another epic woke luxtard fail.

now if there were a single reason for scrapping it this would be it…
“Principal Ragne Maxwell said the lunches – eaten at the school’s four houses where students say karakia before beginning their meal ”

and thats how to brainwash indoctrinate maori shit into hundreds of students at a time.

    • Understandable anger IASB but coalition politics is compromise and perhaps this is just a spratt to catch a Mackerel and if ACT win big their reward will arrive at next election, who knows perhaps National will be a Junior party to the coalition, what ever its early days and most important the coalition deliver their promises. I am surprised that National did not get rid of the 16,000 extra bungling bureacrats ardern installed or at least those than cannot demonstrate thier employment achieved benefits of real value to all NZers.

  3. Hosking ripped into Labour and Jacinda in particular first thing this morning. We are running low on gas and having to import Indonesian coal to generate electricity thanks to their policies. He went as far as calling them criminals and asked how bad you have to be to get thrown out of government. Good stuff to start the day.

    • but but didn’t he rush to tell us we all needed to be jabbed?
He is fighting for his radio space now and jobs get reviewed. Bridge is going to a morning slot.

      • ^ butthurt vax loser.

seriously you vax losers are more aggreived then a maori with a treaty, get the fuck over it, people are easily manipulated and make mistakes esp when enourmous social pressure, cancelation and job losses are on the cards.

        2

          • dylan, no. zero jab for stupid boys family, my parents, sister queued up like good sheep but not my problem and i dont give a crap.

is there some unwritten rule that an unvaxxed disident cant question fellow antivax folks flawed logic and ramblings?

you lot make out you have open minds, critical thinking etc but you vax nutters do anything but that.
holding grudges gets us nowhere, yeah fuck the govt at the time and their usefull idiots (pinky, baker, hendy etc) and their heinous decisions they made around covid but i seriously think you lot need to lighten up a bit on other public figures that “pushed the vax” esp the ones that although it took a while for the penny to drop they did wake up and see the con for what it was.

if you hold grudges and live in the past then youll never have a decent future… thats applicable to quite a few social issues in nz.

            • If someone who knew better than you about how to live your life & what you & your family should eat stood over you with the intention of making you eat your poisonous mushrooms how then would you act?

It wasn’t a choice between red or green jellybeans. They wanted to kill you! In legal terms it was attempted murder.

Take your forgiveness & shove it up your arse!

              3

              1

              • Now now Nasska, “Forgiveness” and “up your arse” are words that should not be used in the same sentence… Might trigger a few….
I agree though. Many people were faced with massive choices. Many were financially destroyed because if this. The problem is if we do nothing, they will do it again, and again, and again. That’s why I am worked up about it.

      • The next step is to line up all PICA’s (Person in Charge of Animals) through NAIT (National Animal Identification & Tracing) to have them comply with even their home kill animals to be vaxxed to save & make safe the planet from “boiling”.
Like de-horning, that jabbing it can only be done by Ministry approved people.
A great lurking job of the MPI empire.

……. “A vaccine is the lowest cost path to global scale enteric methane reduction and is applicable to cattle worldwide. This singular solution, distributed globally with large-scale adoption, can change the trajectory of global warming and demonstrate a path to meeting major climate mitigation goals.” …..
        https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/country/516355/methane-emissions-work-towards-holy-grail-of-vaccine-ramps-up

So if it seems to work, & it is deemed an “emergency crises” then between the UN, WHO-WEF then NZ as signed up to “Net Zero” will enforce this to save the planet. ……….

Aaaooooteeeaaaroooaaaans leading the world, putting the jab into cattle & deer, so punching above its weight.
Then the mission creep so sheep will soon be sorted & done too.
What better than Luxon to bring about compliance, enforce it, to show he is the strong man to win the next election. 🙁

      Another failure under IRA Bolger.

Hey guys there is coal literally over the road from the Huntly power station.

  5. $33 Million Transferred From Big Pharma to Doctors in Australia
Authors of the paper in the Medical Journal of Australia suggested more transparency is required.
Pharmaceutical companies paid doctors more than $33 million (US$21.9 million) over three years in Australia to promote their products.

More than 6,500 doctors across the country received at least one payment from a pharmaceutical company between November 2019 and October 2022.

The findings were revealed in a peer-reviewed paper published in the Medical Journal of Australia on May 6.

The highest payments were in haematology or oncology, followed by cardiology and endocrinology.

Rheumatology was the specialty where the greatest number of doctors were recipients of payments.

  6. Systematic Review Reveals Many COVID-19 Vaccine Recipients Experienced New-Onset Psychosis
Only half of the patients analyzed in the review fully recovered, with the remaining half suffering from ‘residual symptoms.’
Individuals who took COVID-19 vaccines were found to have later suffered from psychosis, with Pfizer and AstraZeneca shots linked to most of the cases.
The peer-reviewed systemic review, published in the Frontiers in Psychiatry journal on April 12, examined cases of new-onset psychosis among people who took the vaccines. Psychosis refers to symptoms that occur when an individual has difficulty differentiating between reality and fantasy, with hallucinations and delusions being two key types. The review looked at 21 articles describing 24 cases of psychosis symptoms following vaccination. The researchers concluded that “data suggest a potential link between young age, mRNA, and viral vector vaccines with new-onset psychosis within 7 days post-vaccination.”

“Collecting data on vaccine-related psychiatric effects is crucial for prevention, and an algorithm for monitoring and treating mental health reactions post-vaccination is necessary for comprehensive management.”

  7. At the risk of triggering SB I see a teenager from Napier died in his sleep in the Cook Islands last week.
Interesting how it was reported in the Cook Island News and the Horrid.
Cook Island News: Includes the following comment.
“There was no medical history he was a healthy boy. He had his vaccinations, and maybe that could have been part of it, why he got blood clots. Who knows?
    NZ Horrid-
“That kid was never, ever sick,” she said, adding “[He was] just active, healthy so that’s why it’s a real big shock to find out that could happen to a healthy person.”
Mary said her son developed a cough Wednesday which stopped on Thursday, later that day he had a sore chest which the family thought was related to his cough.”

  8. 2 seconds on “kiwi”b. Hamas, hommus, antisemitism, screech. What does any of that have to do with NZ. David’s role is to gatekeep the newzealand right into “allowed” topics. When he’s flagging, he types some mean sentences about criminal sentencing. The Holocaust NarrativeTM has lost its potency over the last few months.

Anyone else notice the 2 biggest “right wing” bloggers in NZ are massive IDF zionist supporters? Wtf with that.

    • Depends on your interpretation of a “blog”. Originally they were a “weblog” or a person’s public diary of their thoughts. Not all but many allowed comments.

Point being, they’re not necessarily a public forum. The blogs are are the property of the individual owners who have no duty to provide balanced opinion nor balanced commentary.* DPF & Whale can publish what they wish.

      * Your correspondent notes that the NZ MSM is incapable of non partisan presentation of anything.

      • What’s got me beat is how they picked out Kiri’s car from the rest of the wrecks. It would be a rare Saturday night on SH10 that half a dozen of the boys don’t overindulge on the piss or the P pipe & sleep it off in their waka upside down in a ditch.

        • I’m surprised they gave her a rental car. Maybe she forgot to fill the rental forms in correctly particularly the bit about her past. Drink driving anywhere between Taipa and the south side of Maunganui is very risky at any time – they have check points every 5 minutes and mufti cops everywhere up that way.

But the quaint driving habits of the residents of the Far North are fortunately seldom seen this side of the Brynderwyns.

Witnessing a car parked about fifteen foot up a tree on SH1 just south of Pakaraka & wondering exactly how the bros managed to land there brought it all home to me. 🙂

  12. A small church had a very attractive big-busted organist named Susan, and her breasts were so large that they bounced and jiggled while she played the organ.

Unfortunately, she distracted the male part of the congregation considerably. The very proper church ladies were appalled.

They said something had to be done about this or they would have to get another organist.

So one of the ladies approached Susan very discreetly about the problem, & told her to mash up some green persimmons & rub them on her nipples and all over her breasts, which should cause them to shrink in size, but warned her not to taste any of the green persimmons, because they are so sour they will make your mouth pucker up & you won’t be able to talk properly for a while.

The voluptuous organist reluctantly agreed to try it.

The following Sunday morning the minister walked up to the pulpit and said,

“Dew to thircumsthanthis bewond my contwol, we will not hab a thermon tewday.

‘ When I was at school, ‘ replied Quasimodo.

‘ Did you never wonder what happened to your school bag?’ replied the doctor.

  14. A CONCRETE SLOWDOWN
In the March 2024 quarter, the volume of ready-mixed concrete produced was 867,854 m3, down -12% compared with the March 2023 quarter. And ignoring the one pandemic quarter when building stopped (813,000 m3), this is the lowest level for any quarter since March 2014. And don’t forget, this production peaked in December 2021 at 1,290,000 m3. The building slowdown is here for real. It was especially grim in Wellington (down -38% from its peak).

  16. Budget 2024 will neither be ‘big spending’ nor ‘austerity’ according to Finance Minister Nicola Willis

Finance Minister Nicola Willis says the Government won’t repeat the mistakes of past austerity, despite Treasury downgrading its economic and fiscal forecasts for Budget 2024.

Willis gave her first pre-budget speech, to the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday and outlined the Coalition’s approach to the budget.

She said it was the first time in 14 years that the first of these speeches had been held outside of Central Wellington — a deliberate signal that this budget would be a “break from the past”.

It has also been 14 years since the last adjustment to income tax brackets. This budget will change that, despite difficult economic circumstances.

Willis said she was facing “significant downgrades” to the country’s economic growth forecasts.

  17. Just in case the thieving Green bitch thinks we’ve forgotten:

……”The District Court Recusal Guidelines read: “The guiding principle is that a judge is disqualified from sitting if in the circumstances there is a real possibility that in the eyes of a fair-minded and fully informed observer the judge might not be impartial in reaching a decision in the case.” ……

And no, a discharge without conviction is not appropriate just in case Judge Pecotic who refuses to voluntarily recuse herself is thinking along those lines.

……”Previously, Cuomo regularly appeared alongside Don Lemon, advocating for stricter measures against the unvaccinated, including restrictions on grocery shopping, attending sporting events, and participating in social gatherings.

He even referred to the unvaccinated as ‘the enemy within’ America.”…….

  18. Thomas Cranmer
    @CranmerWrites
In addition to taking guilty pleas from Ghahraman, the judge also issued interim suppression orders relating to location and medical reports submitted by the defendant. The granting of suppression has not yet been reported until now. I checked with the court this morning whether I could report that those orders had been made and was surprised to be told, “Judge advises no suppression orders were made”.

When I asked to double check, I was told by a court spokesperson, “I’m advised that both parties did not oppose the suppression of Ms Ghahraman’s medical issues – but her lawyer then said she wanted that published so the suppression was withdrawn. You are right to double check, but I can’t provide anything further.”

Upon further enquiry with the case manager this afternoon, I was advised that “Interim suppression was granted in relation to defendants’ location & medical records, this interim suppression is still current and in place.”

    Simon Anderson
    @SimonRAnderson
Please consider the content of TC’s tweet. Me and everyone else in the courtroom I’ve spoken to recalls the judge telling us that not only was the medical report suppressed, the fact that it had been could not be reported.

Doubtless, the medical report is one pillar the defence intends to rely upon for mitigation. That its existence was not reported afforded the opportunity for the narrative of a cooperative Gahraman accepting responsibility to circulate unchallenged.

Today things changed, with various components of ADC -including the judge- making contradictory claims about what was and what wasn’t suppressed. Without Philip Crump’s tenacity this would not have been exposed. If this is merely incompetence, it’s a strange coincidence that all of the mistakes have favoured the defence.

    • We’re heading for a pre-ordained discharge without conviction. William Penn once wrote:

…..“Justice is justly represented blind, because she sees no difference in the parties concerned. She has but one scale and weight, for rich and poor, great and small.”…….

The blindfold has been shredded, the scales are bent & the weights have been tampered with. Welcome to justice for the well off & well connected……….NZ style.

  19. THE LABOUR GOVERNMENT DELIBERATELY GASLIGHTED THE NZ PUBLIC AND HID VITAL INFORMATION THEY RECEIVED FROM FIVE EYES ABOUT THE PANDEMIC

The Five Eyes intelligence-sharing nations were convened to discuss the probability of a lab leak as the US warned that China had covered up research on coronaviruses and military activity at a laboratory in Wuhan.

At the meeting Mike Pompeo, then US Secretary of State, presented a summary of classified American intelligence reports collected in the early days of the pandemic and compiled by the State Department. The intelligence reports themselves are understood to have been shared separately via the Five Eyes network between October and December 2020.
