  1. The Legal profession in this country fein demand and respect, as they have set themselves above all others, as a Moral Establishment, they are anything but.

“Sharma had contended he wasn’t speeding and told police that he’d swerved to avoid a raccoon and that he’d dragged Kaur out onto the grass about a metre away.”

A Raccoon wandering a country road in Taupiri. Yeah right! Raccoons infest Taupiri like no other place in New Zealand.

Lawyer, Saurbh Sharma who caused the death of Auckland lawyer Shubham Kaur while driving his Tesla at very high speed on a straight road in Taupiri, is hardly the epitome of an honest, decent Lawyer and nothing but a despicable, lying weasel, who was more concerned for his own skin than that of his former friend, now deceased, Shubham Kaur. I agree with Miss Kaurs’ family, jail is the only place for this scum Lawyer.

  2. Why is this former unelected List MP, Christopher Finlayson sticking his oar into every situation now? This former unelected MP and self confessed Faggot, seems to have an opinion and wish to influence many matters whether it is co-governance, which he is in favour of, public opinions on the proposed Treaty Principles Bill and proposed Referendum which he is strongly opposed too, on Treaty Settlements that he applauds and now he is publicly opining on a possible increase in MP’s salaries.

Finlayson, a man with many conflicting barrows to push should now just shuffle off to his well paid Legal job and keep his unasked for opinions, quietly to himself. I for one, are not interested in the opinions of a man who I and many others consider to be one of the great Traitors, alongside his friend, convicted criminal, Doug Graham, of and too this country.

It is quite simple really, if I wanted to hear Finlaysons’ opinion on anything, I would ask him for it. The fact is I haven’t and don’t.

    • He should be in the liarbor party goes against every principle that the national party in their founding document. Total tosser in every way…..Who TF does he think he is talking about everything. He did not even get elected the bastard. Unelected MPs should be taken down and never to be heard of again. Only elected MPs should be part of our parliament. And most of the greens and maori and liarbor parties would have no chance of receiving that much pay if they were not a part of this government. hat goes for the others asa well. Ridiculous 1984 stuff.

  3. I see they named the Beachhaven kidnapper in court yesterday. He has a Maori sounding name but they didn’t mention his tribal affiliations like they normally do in this day and age. Must be some kind of slip up, surely it couldn’t be because he’s committed a crime? Of course not how silly of me for being so cynical and racist.

  4. From the gory details of job-cuts news, you’d think the public service was being eviscerated.

While the media’s view of the cuts is incomplete, it’s also true that departments have been leaking the particulars faster than a Wellington water pipe (and to be fair, formal update announcements have also commenced).

Consequently, we know of proposed and completed redundancies of some 1000 people to date (give or take), as departments pare their spending in line with reduced and revised Budget allocations, now being finalised for announcement next month.

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), the Ministry of Social Development (MSD), the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and the Ministry of Health (MoH) are among those whose planned reductions are at the higher end and reach into the hundreds.

But those figures remain eclipsed by the number of staff added through just the second half of last year: 368 additions at MBIE (a 5.9 per cent increase); 405 additions at MSD (a 4.5 per cent increase); 12 additions at MPI (a 0.3 per cent increase); and 77 additions at MoH (a 10.5 per cent increase).

All up, the public service expanded by 4.1 per cent in the last six months for which we have data, which amounted to an addition of 2580 net new employees, as of December 31.

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/planned-cuts-to-the-public-service-so-far-wont-even-wind-back-the-last-six-months-of-expansion-public-purse/GF76Y66ZN5EXXGXFLZEOZZISGA/

so Labour did s they had before the last ekection told them all to add hundreds. Evil bastards.
Should all be removed from Parliament
    hippy’s the man
What a peice of shit. Same for the public Service commisioner. That role needs disbanding.

    • They are not cuts.

It is barely a scratch !

      Notional into hyperbole as usual.

The luxtard critter is quite a stumbling oxymoron
      A ‘devout christian’ but into lying; degrading his own MPs in public;
vanity; and supporting lies from others, like climate crap.

The sign of a weak wet woke wanker.
his lot were only voted in with 38.06% in 2023
      hardly a resounding endorsement.

Liebour got 36.89% in 2017 and were regarded (certainly by me) as not a legitimate choice
This is only just over one-third.

        • Surely the starting point is the terminiation of the additional bureatwats thanks to Ardern and to some extent Clark. Give that six months to settle with the remaining staff understanding that the only thing that would prevent a further round of terminations is a vastly improved service, all calls answered within 2 minutes all e-mails and letters answered in 2 days

  5. Well, here’s a surprise (sarc). Media trust in NZ plummets and the editorial in the HB Today (aka the HB Toady aka Tauranga yesterday) is “Need to lift Media literacy rates urgent”. So, there you have it…., it’s not them, it’s YOU! YOU need educating so you can properly genuflect in awe at their benign and god-like wisdom. It’s YOU that has bought into fake news and disinformation and need saving from yourself. Nothing to do with them. Honestly, the lack of self-awareness is positively Cunliffe-esque in its scale.

    • and yet
      https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-13284103/study-young-people-cancer-Kate-Middleton.html
      —————–
It is among the most puzzling medical mysteries of the moment: why are so many young, otherwise healthy people being diagnosed with cancer?

Cases of the disease have shot up by 30 percent in people under 50 over the last 20 years – with high profile patients including Princess Kate Middleton, 42.

Globally, Australia has seen the highest number of early-onset cancer diagnoses in the world, with a rate of 135 per 100,000 people.

Nearby New Zealand has the second highest rate, at 119 cases in people under 50 per 100,000 people.

Now, US researchers have stumbled upon a potential explanation.

A new study by experts from Washington University in St Louis found that the generations with higher cancer rates have cells and tissues in their body that are old beyond their years.

In other words, people born after 1965 – aged 59 or younger – may be biologically older than their chronological age.

Worming through the forests of Southland nets new species

A new species of velvet worms found in Southland are “active hunters”.
    Rod Morris / Supplied

Southland’s forests are full of creepy crawlies, and now a velvet worm that eats prey many times larger than itself has been found in the region.

The peripatoides taitonga, which falls under the phylum Onychophora species, also known as velvet worms, was found by researchers from Massey University in Croydon Bush, Seaward Downs and Waipori.

A phylum is a scientific term grouping together related organisms on the basis of their fundamental characteristics.

Soft-bodied, multi-legged invertebrates, they were found in the forest under rocks, around clay banks, and where the vegetation had not been disturbed, Massey University Professor of Evolutionary Ecology Steven Trewick said.

I was only yesterday listening to a replay and I asked myself “where are they getting the money to keep this going?”. There’s no advertising at all and they must have been relying on subscribers (of which I am one). RIP RCR.

    • well the writing was on the wall from day 1 so dunno who would be surprised about it. being nutter based theyd have an even harder time attracting advertisers then the likes of the platform.
dunno if things changed but early on they werent very interactive, no talkback etc, peter williams was a flop and pretty much just a dj with the odd rant. i listened once or twice lost interest and tuned out in disappointment never to return, i suspect many done the same, vff/rcr fucked up plus most have moved on from covid etc and only a core group of butthurt losers and conspiracy nutters exist to support rcr

      10

      • “butthurt”
You mention this phrase a lot. Is there something you want to confess?

        “being nutter based”
Who would you put at the top of your list in NZ who is fighting for freedom, that is not as you put it “nutter based”? Stuff? Herald? Queers for Palestine?

I think you should be more respectful of others.

And I know lots of farmers who support RCR’s views, Why are you so anti?

        10

        0

      • plus most have moved on from covid etc

Actually they haven’t. Excess deaths since the vaccine was rolled out exceeds 10,000, and vaccine injuries into 6 figures.

Many people may have moved on from Covid, but not the vaccine and its ongoing death march.

If something took the life of your wife or child, but you never got justice, or even acknowledgement of cause, would you be able to move on? I doubt it.

    • The number of young people that are having cancer, strokes, heart attacks, or simply dropping dead is so out of whack. I know dozens and dozens of cases of severe injuries and deaths. One of many: A cousin in law of a mate got jabbed early on, and felt ill within a few minutes. “That’s a normal reaction” they said. She went home and got worse overnight. Rushed her into ED/ICU but she didn’t make it, dead within 48 hours of the jab. 49 years old, children, healthy as an ox, no prior health issues at all. Needless to say it put the entire extended family off from getting the jab.

I know of at least a dozen (here in NZ) who dropped dead within 24-48 hours. So tragic.

And the 10,000 excess deaths are here in NZ.

  12. Alice:— will that become buried in the new forms of social justice that are flag waved by the academics, which has carried through into the systemic “public health” with this “thought program”?

Like Boeing becoming all, DEI,, airlines becoming DEI,, Air traffic controllers ;becoming DEI..
So can you then trust the training of a Air Accident Investigator these days?
    .
So many of the medical systems world wide, are on board with this, medicating us with another deeper poison.
    .
…. How DEI and Critical Race Theory are replacing the Hippocratic Oath. …..
    .
……… “Narratives grounded in white supremacy and sustaining structural racism…
—- perpetuate cumulative disadvantage for some populations and cumulative advantage for white people, and especially white men.
Patriarchal narratives enforce rigidly defined traditional norms, and reinforce inequities based on gender.
Narratives that uncritically center meritocracy and individualism render invisible the very real constraints generated and reinforced by poverty, discrimination and ultimately exclusion.
Yet a rich tradition of work in health equity and related fields, including critical race theory…
    — gives us a foundation for an alternative narrative, one that challenges the status quo, one that moves health care towards justice.”

    https://www.frontpagemag.com/the-poisoning-of-medical-school-education/
    .
It is full on how the medical system is training the younger Doctors.
To make “public health” into to supporting “social justice” on so many levels.
    .
As it also can be seen happening in NZ’ medical training institutes, so that now it is actively practiced in NZ’s hospital’s & medical systems.
    .
So how will the new Coroners investigate a death, when government allows, “Death by Unknown Natural Causes”, in which the system will soon naturally become very adept with.
If the system seriously does not want to look, then it will go under the carpet, unless they can see their if it fits into the purposes of some form of “Social movement of acclaimed justice”

Received a letter from ASB advising that due to a process error ( Whatever that is supposed to be – not explained) ASB will close my overdraft of $1,000 on 5/5/2024 and credit my account with $1,000 which they understand may leave me with a credit balance – it will – not a scam came corrctly addressed with my account No, on ASB headed notepapaer in a ASB envelope. As much as I am pleased to recieve this free money has anyone else recieved such a letter from ASB or any other Bank? BNZ, for the past 2 Thursday afternoons the auto teller has been down.

Also last week in the evening the GAS computer system was down for about half an hour.
Found out that their systems are not connected to the BP customer system.
Very inconvenient for the ones who were looking to get enough fuel to go to night shift -work about 50 kms on.

    • reading that the young chap sounds like he was a very average if not shit farmer and managed to con his business partners into spending a fortune every year to give an illusion that hes a good farmer.
if their was no way to sack him and get another equity manager then its probably money well spent to compensate for his poor farm management.

im not being a cock btw just blunt, sounds like he couldnt manage pastures or residuals very well, imcapable of measuring pastures himself (paying 12k per year for someone else to do it is absurd).

it has its place but bear in mind that farm is now paying around 120k per year for that technology, he says he saves 55k on a labour unit but halta dosent milk cows, feed calves, spray thistles, fill in when staff are sick/holidays/rto etc so theres a trade off with that aswell.

our neighbours have it and will be on country calander soon i guess, they filmed a few months ago so cant be far off airing.

imo technology is good but we shouldnt be so reliant on it esp something like halta when multiple aspects of the operation rely on a single piece of tech, mating, grazing, pasture management dang if something goes wrong theres gunna be some farmers in deep shit.
i see the same thing now with machinery, if something happens theres a new generation of drivers that wont know how to operate…. thats if the gear will even move.
im a pessimist incase you havent worked that out 🙂

….. We are confident RCR will be able to return to the air at some point in a format and duration proportional to the level of financial support received.
If the support is significant, RCR could be back on air for a long time.
However, if it is lacking, New Zealand’s only voice of reason will only be able to return for a short while. …..

This is why I am amazed to this day that Britain voted for Brexit.
The Brits hate change and things were going pretty smooth at the time. Conservatives under Cameron had just been voted back in with a clean majority (like liebour in 2020) and the effects of the GFC were waning, while the excess illegal immigration was really just under a year old with the effects not yet seen.

“F***, my brother,” Patuawa Nathan also said in the October 2022 police interview, after an officer informed him that Challas Nathan had just died from the wounds. “F***ing hell, my brother. F***ing told you, c***. F***ing told you I wasn’t joking.”

But defence lawyer Quentin Duff asked jurors during his opening statement today to hold off judgment about the police interviews. In them, he suggested, the officer took advantage of his client’s 77 IQ and low language skills to elicit misleadingly damning soundbites that don’t reflect “the full story of how two brothers who fundamentally loved one another” ended up in that situation.
