  1. Oh great memes this morning Ed, thank you. I remember Bill Clinton paying Paula Jones all that money, maybe its the joys of being old aye??? But it was known that Bill was a hard dog to keep on the porch. And no I do not remember there being any FBI, CIA involvement there. That sets a precedent I would say.
Good morning one and all, seems like the rain will hold off for a while, oh happy days.
Have a great day and be safe.

  2. ‘The Attorney General said there is no information that proves the attack is terror-related”

Really – wonder what he would be feeing if suddenly a person started chasing and knifing knifing people beside you. I suspect terror would be high on the list of emotions.

    • HP, amazing that Plod in Sydney and the Attorney General can rule out Terrorism immediately, but the Sydney “Knifeman” as they call him was well known to Plod but they can not identify him.

      Bollocks!

The bearded Geezer had a little chat with the lovely Iman after Friday Prayers out as some dodgy Mosque in Lakemba on Friday afternoon where, I bet he was blessed and encouraged to go out and do “Gods” Will.

Note, to NZ journalists, Australian ones are prasing the Policewoman for coming forward shooting Muhammad,

        • Agreed Sooty, the Australian Journalists have the decency to praise her actions, here she would have been persecuted by the media for interfering with the normal life of a member of a Minority Group and a man of colour who was slight confused with his surroundings.

  3. ·
An old hillbilly farmer had a wife who nagged him unmercifully. From morning till night (and sometimes later), she was always complaining about something. The only time he got any relief was when he was out plowing with his old mule. He tried to plow a lot.
One day, when he was out plowing, his wife brought him lunch in the field. He drove the old mule into the shade, sat down on a stump, and began to eat his lunch. Immediately, his wife began haranguing him again. Complain, nag, nag; it just went on and on. All of a sudden, the old mule lashed out with both hind feet; caught her smack in the back of the head. Killed her dead on the spot. At the funeral several days later, the minister noticed something rather odd. When a woman mourner would approach the old farmer, he would listen for a minute, then nod his head in agreement; but when a man mourner approached him, he would listen for a minute, then shake his head in disagreement. This was so consistent, the minister decided to ask the old farmer about it.
Following the funeral, the clergyman approached the elderly farmer and inquired why he nodded in accord with the women but consistently shook his head in disagreement with the men.
The old farmer said: “Well, the women would come up and say something about how nice my wife looked, or how pretty her dress was, so I’d nod my head in agreement.”
“And what about the men?” the minister asked.
“They wanted to know if the mule was for sale.”

There is information that suggests the attack is terror-related.

    • As the drones from Iran must pass over Iraq, and they are not exactly know as countries that get on, what happens if a drone explodes, or is shot down?
Does the Iraq/Iran war start/continue again or does the entire Middle East explode in retaliation and poor little Mr Zelensky once again have to take a step back from centre stage as the world looks past him to the ‘new’ conflict in town?

    • I am a little surprized that the attack has come from Iranian soil, & not from its proxies.
As that now makes it game on for Israel in targeting Iran for what Israel, and possibly the USA may roll out against Iran.
      .
Iran is giving 1920’s Germany, Iran, Venezuela a run in the wheel-barrow stakes.
Though Biden did turn over about 6 & even more billion dollars (hard currency) to Iran a while in November 2023 something is happening that many would love to blame the Jewish financiers for.
      .
April 8th 2024 …. Economic demonstrations occur across Iran
Several small demonstrations took place in different parts of Iran on the backdrop of the economic hardships in the past several days,
including a farmers’ strike in eastern Isfahan who took their tractors to the streets protesting water-related measures,
a protest of retired pensioners in Arak against the cost of living,
a truck drivers’ demonstration in front of the local headquarters of the national petrol company in Sistan and Balochistan, Iran’s poorest province, protesting against the price of fuel, and
a medical staff demonstration in Shiraz protesting their salaries not being paid on time.
Additionally, disruptions were recorded in the online registration services to receive government-subsidized fuel coupons as more citizens applied for them.
      .
On a similar background, a massive viral campaign with thousands of posts called to expel Afghan refugees and residents from the country, arguing that they steal the jobs of Iranians, live off the country’s budgets, allowances and shaky economy, and perpetrate crimes against Iranians, with some users likening them to parasites and leeches. …..

When the real problem are the ideologists are given free rein to run the country and not the the business, professional & techno people.
As in NZ our supposed experts are captured by the “scientism” ideology.

Billions of $ slushing around, but not going to projects, but as we know of certain Creative Universities, eventually into a back pocket, spent out like a Lotto winner on Ford Rangers & high life travel & hotels etc..

Then the great cost of the slush funds for further weapons & to the proxies, like Hamas, PLA, Hezbollah, Houthis, Syria,

All to bring about the supposed unity of taking it out , as Mohammad advised, against the Jew.
Will the Iranian people wear it this time? or will they revolt?

…..”A diversionary foreign policy, or a diversionary war, is an international relations term that identifies a war instigated by a country’s leader in order to distract its population from their own domestic strife.”……

That will be Iran’s motive. The question is how long do they need the distraction to continue.

          .
Conducted on the strength of Article 51 of the UN Charter pertaining to legitimate defense, Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus.
The matter can be deemed concluded.
However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe.

      • Britain (more correctly England) has declared both WW1 and WW2
        in each case by getting involved in something they should not;
and not being able to win without lots of help, anyway.

WW1 led to mass slaughter of innocent young men in Belgium by the hundreds of thousands.
Many of those that lived after that blood bath were damaged for life, physically or mentally.
Then the English ‘elite’ screwed the scrum at the Treaty of Versailles setting up wars for the next century with their pompous horseshit, deviancy, and lies.

England should stay the fuck out of other’s business.
They have enough shit to clean up at home.

Bori Johnson stopped the peace negotiations 6 weeks in and 2 years ago between Russia and Ukraine.
Again England want war for the sake of war. Even though they are useless at it when the other side is armed with something better than sharpened sticks.
        They are evil elitists.

What will be different with WW3?

Howtis missed Gallipoli of his list. Poms started that and the Crimean war at the behest of Germany and France.
So the poms beat the shit out of the French fleets and the retaliation was to encourage the poms to start other wars.

The disconnected malfeasance and treachery we experienced from arden for a mere 5 years is what the citizenry of England have experienced from their ‘betters’ for hundreds of years.
Ah yeah, plus the Irish and Scots citizens.
                ————–

And really, Does anyone WIN a VC ?
Usually it is a case of a person or persons sent by their goo-mint to kill the working class people sent by another unscrupulous goo-mint.
There are no winners in these situations.

The ubiquitous ‘Tommy’ sent by the incompetent pommy elite (incl Churchill) to the fields of Flanders was someone whose ‘betters’ did not give a flying fuck for his well being

  6. Just read Eric Cramptons article on NZCPR. Frankly riles me up but may be that’s because I’m a grumpy old man.
Why should the NZ Initiative get what appears to be special treatment from a host of Ministers attending their ‘retreat”
Booster Bishop is obviously a fan of Crampton and that fits with his policy of smashing boundaries to build more houses.
NZ Initiative seem to suppport Bill Gates , pouring millions in to the carbon con and also had Greg Sheridan along.
He is a god loving Trump hater.
Compare this lot to Prof Robert MacCulloch who also has an article questioning the ability of the coalition parties to deal with our current economic problems.

There is a reason for this. In Japan there are memories of the danger of “blindly following orders” and of an “authoritarian, over-controlling state.”

Lest we Forget (even if the Japanese people remember).

  7. Despite the best efforts of those who stand to lose when the full truth is exposed, the abuse of kids at Auckland’s Dilworth School is not going away any time soon. In a rare break from their day to day work as Labour’s propaganda organisation ‘Stuff’ have published an exposé of the facts behind the upcoming docu-drama “The Lost Boys of Dilworth”.

As usual the sexual abuse is inspired & covered up by the religious leaders: “That’s the chapel … that’s the epicentre of f…ing pain for me … that place,” he says.

But the abuse is both sexual & physical, the bullying associated with single sex schools was endemic & bad even by the standards of the day. Certainly not all teachers & only some religious nuts prey on kids but the damage those who do cause is immeasurable.

    • The Cass report challenges the scientific basis for supporting the medical transition for children.

…. The culture in intimidation that “trumped safety and evidence for the care of children” …..
….. closing the controversial Tavistock clinic which had been at the centre of the ‘treatment’ controversies, and the NHS has now banned hormone blockers for children and young people.
A further government review would now come to understand the “consequences” of the “treatments” given to some 9,000 children who presented as transgender to the Tavistock clinic. …..

……. medics who had been involved and who had refused to cooperate with the inquiry …..
….. the oath that clinicians take which is to ‘do no harm’ and it seems to me this failure, this refusal by some — …

MUTILATED: The NHS Gender Identity Scandal. Children Were ‘GROOMED’ to Think They Were Trans
      https://youtu.be/OydN6on0Sl8
      13 minutes : April 13th 2024 :

Note how they ignored the whistle-blower 6 years ago.
There was many experts, & of course, many trust them.
The problem of getting those medics to see the errors of there ways.

Yet here in New Zealand, the government last year accepted that “conversion therapy” to question about gayness gender is illegal, but it is pushed that reaffirmation is good & ok, particularly in libraries.
      “To trans-away the gay.”

April 2024 …. Last year, New Zealand’s Ministry of Health removed a claim that puberty blockers were “safe and reversible” from its website. ….
      https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/513980/government-won-t-say-if-it-will-follow-britain-s-move-to-ban-routine-use-of-puberty-blockers

Sept.,2022 ….. – but still endorses the Professional Association for Transgender Health Aotearoa (PATHA) guidelines, which states they are “considered to be fully reversible”.

Youth health doctor Dame Sue Bagshaw, who pioneered gender-affirming care for young people, said they had excellent results, particularly for those who go on to physically transition. ….
      https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/475757/puberty-blocker-use-jumps-as-expert-backs-results

So it has taken years, & there still seems to be a reluctance in noting the real truth.

It seems to be like the Covid pandemic treatments are not considered good enough, & then the mRNA vaxxes that can slide past the Hippocratic Oath principles of “First do no harm”! & certainly no follow up, monitoring & research.

  8. Just want to say that I always enjoy YSB and particularly HYS every day. And today so far it has been really engaging, particularly with all the info on Iran’s developing attack on Israel.

I follow the Israel/Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran war pretty closely on YouTube etc, so it’s not all new to me, but often I see stuff here before I get to it on other sources, and there’s always a different perspective to take into account – so thank you guys.

I’m in a weird place. I’m not a Christian or a Jew; but I find myself wanting to pray for Israel.

    12

    • EK, theres no innocent sides in that conflict. israel has been treating then like shit for decades and edging them out, hamas and the attacks is the result of it.
middle easts eye for an eye blood for blood means there will never be peace and imo the best thing would be for israel to disapear as theres always gunna be a couple hundred million angry nutters surrounding them wanting revenge.

i dont pray for israel, i also dont condone any attacks on them either. war is shit, religion is shit and i find it a fucking stupid reason to die or kill ppl for.

i said it the other day and ill say it again, in my lifetime ill see the destruction of israel, the day it started was oct 7, their ongoing response is just creating yet another generation of hatred towards them and now iran has chimed in things will get interesting as yanks cant save them from those nutters without turning sand to glass.

      2

      5

      • SB I disagree with your perspective on this. Israel has never attacked any of its neighboring states (except for the pre-emptive strike against a clearly assembled invasion force in the 1967 six day war). And Israel has been under constant attack for almost its entire history by terrorist bombers, Jihadi extremists and rockets continuously fired at them from Lebanon and Gaza.

Around 20% of Israel’s population are Arabs and Israel is a fully functioning democracy and Arabs are not discriminated against in any way. When I was there, they all seemed to get on fine and the problems come from the Arabs who call themselves ‘Palestinians’ in (amongst other places) the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon and Jordan.

Yes its a mess. But it’s not a mess created by Israel, that’s for sure.

        • pretty sure i recall you and many others on here wishing bad things on israel due to their harsh vax program and covid bullshit. why the change of heart?

why dont you pity and pray for the millions of innocent lives usa has destroyed over the years?

not trying to start a shitfight but just saying 🙂

i also think america needs to stay outve this israel crap, if i were israel id be worried if they get involved cuz it never ends well for the proxy.

          2

          3

          • I don’t think I ever wished bad things on Israel over the vax, but I certainly was staggered at how totally they fell into line and got themselves injected. I had always thought of Israelis as free thinking individualists, not sheeple!

Yes I take your point about the millions of lives across the globe taken by the USA’s continuous wars – but I don’t think this is a US proxy war by any means. Israel is it’s own master and they have been genuinely under attack for 77 years. In fact, the USA seems to have been sabotaging them, rather than standing by them as allies. And sadly Israel is dependent on the USA to buy munitions and military supplies. Not a happy position to be in.

Thanks for engaging. We’re not having a shitfight at all, mate. I value the debate! Cheers 🙂

    • Beorn :— Was it really an embassy, a consulate in this ‘fog of war’?
wiseowl :— Hiding military that are seeming to reload guns & supplies that are shooting ?

When among the sixteen people killed were two Al-Quds generals, and the overall head of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps-Al Quds in Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, Mohamed Reza Zahedi.
He was the highest-ranking Iranian military man killed since the Americans dispatched Qassem Soleimani in 2020 at the Baghdad Airport.
At least five others killed at the so-called “consulate” were high-ranking officers in the IRGC

Were they facilitating figuring the logistics for more armaments, reserves, supplies, resupply, to be moved closer to Israel, like how they send stuff through Syria to Lebanon for Hezbollah.

….. Israel presses its offensive against Hamas in Gaza, it has been trading fire with Hezbollah almost daily.

Was it a military building is questioned here.

….. Israel apparently bombed an Iranian “consular building” that was part of the Iranian Embassy complex in Damascus. Seven members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards were killed, chief among them General Mohamad Reza Zahedi, who was the leader of the Quds Force for Palestine, Syria and Lebanon. Two other senior generals were also among the 11 who were killed.

      No civilians were killed.

Was this attack legal under international law?

The New York Times interviewed several law experts, and it appears that this did not violate international law, although it is highly unusual and violated longstanding practice. …..

So just what is the violation of a longstanding practice?
To attack on a day that is sacred to your enemy? So what is the Yom Kippur war?

  10. Two weeks until damaged Rangitata rail bridge will be operational
    https://www.1news.co.nz/2024/04/14/two-weeks-until-damaged-rangitata-rail-bridge-will-be-operational/
The Rangitata rail bridge is visibly sagging after a pier was washed out by high flood waters.

Work has begun to reopen a 610m-long rail bridge in southern Canterbury that lost one of its 34 piers during flooding on Friday morning.

“Despite the spans sagging, they appear to be structurally sound. We have not found damage to any other piers or spans.”

Civil contractors have begun work to divert the river flow away from the area where the pier was washed away, he said.

Construction of temporary supports for the bridge had an aim of beginning mid-next week, said Lovatt.

This would allow freight trains to resume running, with the work expected to take “up to two weeks.”

  12. Effects of geoengineering must be urgently investigated, experts say

Scientists must work urgently on predicting the effects of climate geoengineering, the chief of the US atmospheric science agency has said, as the technology is likely to be needed, at least in part.

Richard Spinrad, administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), said the government-backed body was estimating the effects of some of the likely techniques for geoengineering, including those involving the oceans.
