  1. Subject: Passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense
    * Obituary printed in the London
    Times…..Absolutely Brilliant!!t*
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has
been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since
his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be
remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
    – Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
    – Why the early bird gets the worm;
    – Life isn’t always fair;
    – And maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more
than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in
charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy
charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended
from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for
reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job
that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly
children. It declined even further when schools were required to get
parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but
could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have
    an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and
criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a
beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home
and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the
will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee
was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge
    settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death,
-by his parents, Truth and Trust,
    -by his wife, Discretion,
    -by his daughter, Responsibility,
    -and by his son, Reason.
    He is survived by his 5 stepchildren;
    – I Know My Rights,
    – I Want It Now,
    – Someone Else Is to Blame,
    – I’m A Victim,
    – Pay me for Doing Nothing.
Not many attended his funeral because, so few realized he was gone. If you
still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

  2. The one glaring example this news of Jacinda massive slide in popularity say is the people have never rated another MP as capable of doing the the other lack the necessary skills without Jacinda leading them. Our latest Newshub- Reid Research Poll shows just howteid Arderns popularity isto Labour- her preferred Prime Ministers plummet is almost identical to the slide Labour has taken.https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/10/opinion-jacinda-ardern-will-be-hurting-over-lost-popularity.html
The Red/Black/Green Government has a different problem on it’s hands how to disentangle themselves in Election Year without scoring any own goals and damaging the Governments potential to work together again.

  3. Is Venezuela going to be voted onto the UN Human Rights Council? and supported by NZ friendly “comrade” waving the red flag.
So now 3 states are vying for 2 Latin American seats.
To defeat the criminal Maduro regime, we are calling on all countries on Oct. 17 to vote for Costa Rica, Brazil
    https://unwatch.org/report-abuser-states-set-to-win-top-u-n-rights-posts/

It must be asked, who are NZ lobbying and voting for?
Make it an issue for the “comrade”!
Get her to declare her position and why?
A red flag to shove up her!

    0

    0

      • Ok sorry,

Not for us to rally around , just saw as a red flag to shove up Ardern, to be hoisted by her own “comrade” petard.

So will go back to as previous using italics and bold only.

Still must get an answer from Ardern to what direction has been given to NZ diplomats staff at the UN.
Maybe raise with some radio/tv interviewers and of course more blogs.

Quite happily cease and desist in raising that garish red flag banner as it should follow that sock for best effect.

        0

        0

    • NZ probably does not get a vote in the region, but still good to question the “comrade” about fellow “comrades” and the “success” of Venezuela.

Just add to the pressure and stress, and foot may enter mouth. ….

      0

    • Most latino countries are run by Castro type wannabes over and over again, and the people just keep believing the same “revolutionary” shit. Venezuela, so recently adored by lefties all over the world, has eaten itself to bankruptcy. This is exactly what would happen to NZ if they had the power they desperately crave long enough.

To think some fuckwit like Maduro would get anywhere near such a thing as a human rights committee speaks volumes about the integrity of the entire shittery the UN is.

  5. A Medical University Professor was giving a lecture on “Involuntary Muscular Contractions” to his first year medical students.
Realizing that this was not the most exciting topic, the professor try to lighten the mood slightly.
He pointed to a beautiful girl in the class and said, “Do you know what your ass hole is doing while you make love?”
She replied, : He’s probably fishing or sitting at a bar with his friends.

  6. The beginnings of seeking control of the community.

First a Jewish boy was forced to kiss the foot of a Muslim bully.
Then another Muslim student sent him threats and abuse.
Is the National Imams Council right: that the media should not have mentioned that the bully was Muslim?
    From The Bolt Report.

    https://www.heraldsun.com.au/blogs/andrew-bolt/muslim-student-gets-jewish-boy-to-kiss-his-foot-is-antisemitism-on-the-rise/news-story/a5e1ff268e0cdc97cfa3840cbb2bf4e6
    6m 7sec,

    Bullying? Censorship?
So who are the bad apples? muslims? jews? infidels? media? in Australia.
Seems like a race to become a victim, and to gain censorship.

    0

    0

    • So the imams want it quiet
Is it part of that the perpetrator’s religion should not be published because it will make “white supremacists, react against innocent muslims and cause racist violence?
      Is that what they mean?
That makes life difficult for muslims as there is a ‘backlash’?

Yet if a muslim had to lick the boots, and there was death threats, then the name of muslim would be shouted high, so the picture of racism and claims of victim-hood would be incessant, and every one else shamed to agree by those imams with media pontificating ‘talking heads’.

    • As mentioned yesterday on hys.
So the financial infrastructure is being put together.
How much is funneled in NZ?
Are parts of it government sourced like “NZ on Air”?

….. raising money from crowdfunding, major donors, NGOs, trusts and foundations. ….
….. Although, the group insists on having a policy of financial transparency, they say they do so “without compromising the privacy of individuals”.

Their donation policy explains: “We have a policy of openness, and the names of those who donate over £5,000 are made available unless there is a particular reason for a request for them to be anonymous.
      https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10085168/extinction-rebellion-funds-group-founders/

Yeah right, keep the big names, shake downs, and their links quiet through a blur of ngo’s, foundations, sponsors, “work paid” voluntarism, etc. with access into government top up troughs as well.
Would full on auditing get to the bottom of it?

As often said “follow the money” or how they angle into the government, departments, councils, to rip it off you, particularly in extorting and demanding with menaces.
The system will be as bad as the politician’s donations cover up systems.

    • Don’t miss the video attached with James Delingpole interviewing the XR lot.

As for XR being paid, doesn’t payment to protest undermine their apparent commitment to “save the planet”. Especially with XR not paying any tax on donations received. Are the protesters paying tax on the payments they are receiving for attendance? The public will write the protesters off for being there for the money. Being disruptive and closing down city streets and stopping the public going about their daily business will wear thin very quickly.

Looking at the local body elections
Many left wing and green candidates won.
    Auckland, Dunedin
And Lester in Wellington only got booted out by a small margin.
Considering all the bad news with Genter and the anti roading policies.

I’m waiting for the first time some hair-brained Councillor or mayor signs on the dotted line in the name of f*cking climate change, a whole heap of primo, multi-million dollar subdivisions instantly lose their real estate value, and lawyers come out with BIG knives for the bureaucrats. Ratepayer gets shafted in the name of the false god climate change, and sanity returns to the community. (with less $$$) Watch this space.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/10/terrorist-and-extremist-online-content-to-be-treated-like-child-sexual-exploitation-material.html

Is this policy on the back of Ardern’s “Christchurch Call” an attempt to build the polls for Labour? She looks and sounds anxious on the video, and her hair tied up severely like that doesn’t do anything to improve the look.

  11. The Pope is too woke.
Looks like trying to promote a Christianity and Muslim combo called Chrislam is too much.
    What a plonker!!

POPE FRANCIS is facing a potential religious coup from within the Catholic Church, but there is also an emerging threat from outside the Vatican as Italian populist Matteo Salvini sets his sights on the progressive Pope.

  12. Check out the photos of “Strokin” Shane Jones at a firing range. Hey, he actually looks pretty good handling a rifle, and he’s a good shot to boot. It’s a semi-auto so-called “MSSA” similar to what the Chch killer used. Big deal, I’ve also shot one of those things a few times myself, BUT what kind of look is this for JA? I think NZ first did this deliberately, as they see a sinking ship they want to escape before it’s too late. Your thoughts?

  13. So they are giving 17 million to discourage extremist terrorism.
Some guy came on the radio and said there were well over 170 right wing websites.
Will they also be targeting extremist islamic websites
How many of those are there?
Is YSB included in those 170 sites?

      • It seems there might be some infighting within Labour. Ardern just threw Justin Lester under the bus saying he ran as an Independent. When the journalists tried to correct her she did not change her stance.
Lester has always been seen a “shining light” in Labour.

        • What makes you think Ardern would ever collide with reality let alone even have a minor fender bender with it.

She is in her own bubble of ‘alternative universe’ like a Marvel Universe
This is further enhanced by her breathing all that excessive CO2 🙂

Her acquaintance with reality has been ever so brief, if it ever happened.
She started in a Mormon bubble; went on to University and ‘communications (we know that was bollocks) ; then Tony Bliar’s false world of the Third way and WMDs that did not exist; then Socialist Yoof even after China has essentially gone capitalist and 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Bobby (head) has the most tenuous of grips on reality.
This is a portrait of what a compulsive liar looks like.
I have known one and this is how it is !

        • Shocking isn’t it? People need to remember that building permits/consents were/are issued in good faith, based on reasonable evidence of compliance with the relevant NZ Building Code rules applicable at a given time. Incompetence always comes back to bite sooner or later. As recently as say 10 years ago, some approved plans for residential and commercial buildings may have well been drafted up by boozers at a pub on Friday night. Check for yourself 🙂 go look up any building consent even that old. It was pretty bad folks.

          0

          • Only anecdotal but I was told by a builder who did a bit of work on our last place. that it’s not unusual. He was working on a site on The Terrace in Wellington about 30 years ago & the pours were going on for the floors of another multi storey next door.

Apparently the workers were waiting for each section to be signed off to pour then taking the top layer of mesh off the section & laying it in the next. In context there were 5 or 6 layers of reinforcing but presumably the engineers didn’t want less.

Then there was the street of houses near Johnsonville where the Batts were removed after being signed off & later used in the next job next door. About twelve houses on the go at once under the supervision of one qualified tradesman. Chinese workers who couldn’t speak English.

It’s still a real piss off for the client who is paying tens of thousands for compliance.

            • A while back inspectors started taking photos with their smartphones for that very reason, to prove that a Council person had actually seen the steel mesh/insulation etc before crooked bastards had a chance to do that sort of thing. In small town NZ where i’ve worked for many a year, everyone knows everyone. A dodgy tradesperson would soon find themselves very unemployed. Chinese building gangs in the big city? I did a few final inspections on some houses, and I guess I got lucky the dude really seemed to have his shit together, I passed it and issued the Code Compliance Certificates. No doubt not every story ends that way! Removing mesh etc is playin’ Dirty Pool.

            • 30 years ago. This might account for why the buildings that failed in the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake were mainly less than 30 years old.
Mindless bureaucrats are rarking up owners of older buildings that are often better built than the crap since Chase Corp and so on were putting together with Uhu glue and rubber bands from 1985 onwards. Those lot were so dodgy

There was a building collapse in New Orleans in the last week of a partially completed building and the building failure rate in Australia in climbing rapidly.

I thought most people in the trade knew about the sign off rort where the signed off items are then moved on to another place for sign off there ..as well.

  14. In Australian Parliament, a Turnbull rot.

a number of Greens, Labor, and Liberal MPs have signed on to the crossbench-led climate action group, Parliamentary Friends of Climate Action, which is co-chaired by Dr Haines.
“I am calling for a cohesive approach,” she said.

A laugh in this video, as a response to the party cop-outs,

‘How dare’ Liberal MPs join Parliamentary Friends of Climate Action
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=73&v=tkKRNLk5Fww
    3 min. 53 secs.

    • Whenever I read a piece about Jacinda speaking it’s akin to:

“Yes, this turd is smelly but if we polish it enough you will know how much we care for this turd.” [nods, cocks head], “And this turd is important to New Zealand and we’ve heard you say so; that is why we’re taking action to polish it.”

She can really bullshit her way through anything. And so many dipshits swallow that whole.

11 mins 55 secs. [Speech completed in first 10 minutes]

…… My Government’s priority has always been to secure the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union on 31 October. My Government intends to work towards a new partnership with the European Union, based on free trade and friendly cooperation [European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill].

My Ministers will work to implement new regimes for fisheries, agriculture and trade, seizing the opportunities that arise from leaving the European Union [Fisheries Bill, Agriculture Bill and Trade Bill]. An immigration bill, ending free movement, will lay the foundation for a fair, modern and global immigration system. …….. etc. …..
…… As the United Kingdom leaves the European Union, my Government will ensure that it continues to play a leading role in global affairs, defending its interests and promoting its values. ….. etc. …..

Brexit; target in sight and a clear line of delivery, 31 October, this year. 🙂
God bless the UK. and all who will sail in her.
