    • Miserable grey morning. The hedges are heavy with water and it’s still raining.
I have the heating on to take the chill off.
The day can only improve with a little sunshine and coffee. ☀️
Have a great day whatever you’re up to.

    • Deliberately driving out young people.

Making them tenants in their own land.
Heading back to landed gentry status of England 250 years ago
As covered by Dick Smith recently.

Driving young people out to Asia like Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia.
Making white people a minority in another’s land.
      Not an accident.

  2. Cardiac Arrests in New Zealand up 11 Percent
Seven New Zealanders a day are now experiencing cardiac arrest outside of hospital, and only 11 percent are surviving.
A total of 2,458 New Zealanders experienced an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) in 2022/23, up from 2,212 in 2019/20—an increase of 11 percent over the four years. And despite bystanders doing CPR in 76 percent of cases, only 11 percent of victims survive 30 days after they’re discharged from hospital, down from 14 percent in 2018/19.

That’s despite 23 percent of people being successfully revived by CPR—a statistic called “return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) sustained to hospital handover.”

The rate of people suffering cardiac arrest in the community is now 141.7 per 100,000, with an average of seven such events every day.

  3. “AI systems excel at processing information. They aren’t great at helping grandma take a bath.”

    Not my quote.

    Logical solutions.
    – Develop AI to the point where a robot under its control can help grandma take a bath.
    – Eliminate baths.
    – Eliminate grandma.

    • There is no such thing as AI. People suffering from a lack of intelligence cannot build a machine that has what they do not. It is all just programming. Programming by the elite and woke.

I was at someone’s house and asked Alexa two specific questions regarding international events that I know the answer to, and where the truth has been out for dozens of years. It lied both times. On the third question regarding Covid, it paused, refused to answer and when back playing music,

If AI was any good, Biden, Fauci, and all our lot would be in jail.

Terminator’s Skynet was AI. Look how that turned out. That is what is coming up.

  4. Since Iran’s massive missile/drone attack on Israel (which was successfully repulsed), Israel has reportedly launched several missile attacks on Iranian military and air defence systems in several cities, including Isfahan, which is an important centre for Iran’s nuclear programme and the location (in the international airport no less) of a major airbase.

So far the strikes have, it seems, been surgical and intended to send the message that “We can overcome your air defences at any time, so watch out”.

What I want to know is: why doesn’t Israel just go all out and obliterate every vestige of Iran’s nuclear programme immediately?

Ir seems pretty obvious that Israel’s conventional military and air capabilities far outstrip those of Iran. But if Iran were to develop a nuclear weapon, then everything would change. It only needs one nuclear warhead to successfully reach Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and the consequences would be literally out of this world.

So why is Israel pussyfooting around? They should strike now and strike hard: not to ‘send a message’, but to destroy Iran’s military and nuclear capability for the good of the whole region.

    10

    0

      • Good point, but I am pretty sure that Israel could effectively destroy Iran’s nuclear programme by neutralising their launching sites and nuclear manufacturing infrastructure without having to hit the reactor(s) themselves.

In any event, I would say that any radioactive leakage that occurred (for example through hitting a research lab) would not be anywhere near as devastating as a nuclear bomb striking Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.

        10

        0

        • Take out the local power supply and target some high end civilian area were Iran scientists live most will then leave and reside elsewhere some in the cities dead centre. Wokr will stop whilst Iranians persuade the Mullahs their future is a small isolated island in the S Atlantic.

          6

          0

      • ……”Perhaps the radioactive fallout from such an attack would spread across the whole region?”……

In a sane society that would be a consideration for whoever controlled the Red Button. After all there’s not much point to a total win if everyone, including yourself, is dead anyway.

But the Middle East is not a sane society. It is a hellhole where stone age religions flourish & tribal wars have been going on between the same fuckwits for millennia. The people are so brainwashed as to believe that “their” God will protect them though there’s zero evidence that he ever has or indeed that he ever existed.

There is no cause for hope.

        8

        1

    • being surrounded by a hundred million odd folk that would love nothing more then your demise is a fairly good deterrent.
then add to that they cant be 100% sure iran dosent have a nuke or dirty bomb.

i hope israel and usa get taught a lesson in the near future, both deserve a hiding from their enemies.

      2

      9

    • I think the assumption that Israel would easily obliterate Iran is questionable. If you listen to Scott Ritter and some of the other ex military commentators they are saying the opposite. As I have said before it is impossible to be sure of anything with this conflict.

      6

      0

      • Yes Curious I agree that it’s impossible to be absolutely sure of anything. But I’ve heard Scott Ritter on various fora and he seems to be firmly anti-Israel (as well as being pro-Russia/anti-NATO).

        5

        0

        • Then I don’t have problem with Scott Ritter. 🔫☠

You have been brain washed your entire life that Israel are saints.
There is zero evidence to support this.
As many have said, the new 20th century Israel should have been away from the middle East .
Eg NZ’s Bob Jones – well travelled- says it should have been in south America.

Let us not forget that in the lifetime of many readers of this blog the US committed a coup in Iran.
          Illegal and vicious .

          This was countered in 1979
Just as the US coup in Iraq was countered. (but they went in again, and again…)
And the puppet US ‘King’ in Libya circa 1967.

The 1953 Iranian coup d’état, known in Iran as the 28 Mordad coup d’état, was the U.S.- and British-instigated, Iranian army-led overthrow of the elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh in favor of strengthening the monarchical rule of the shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, on 19 August 1953, with one of the significant objectives being to protect British oil interests in Iran.

oh fuck, suddenly I hate facts ////

Israel has nukes from their joint effort with South Africa.
When South Africa did its orderly dismantling of apartheid in the early 1990s they sent their nuclear bombs to Israel so it was not in the hands of the ANC.

What is wrong with Iran having nukes?
From associates like Russia or NK?
Who are YOU to say ?

The only country to use Nuclear weapons to kill civilian human beings is the United States of America.
They are the ones who should NOT have nuclear weapons, clearly !!!

The US has been provoking war around the world for decades.
They are the irresponsible ones; not the rest of the world.
          ——-

80% of jews are not Semites.
          The native Arabs ARE !!
Most jews are (like more than three quarters, ) are European converts that have no claim to a homeland in the Semitic lands.
But your controlled MSM will not tell you that, even though you believe their BS when it is convenient.

You people on YSB are in the minority for supporting Israel.
          Get over it.

          2

          5

          • I am not supporting either side Howie. No one in their right mind could support Islamic governments like Hamas and the mad mullahs in Iran but the strings of the Israeli regime are being pulled by the globalists. So hard to support them. My sympathies are with the innocents on both sides of the conflict who are the meat in the sandwich of political games.

            5

            0

          • Sorry howitis you’re absolutely wrong about Israel on almost every detail. Judaism has a four thousand year history and connection with the land there and the idea of planting ‘Israel’ in South America is absolutely ridiculous.

Palestine was the name given by the Romans (Phillistina) to the area and that name was resurrected as a descriptor after the lands of the Ottoman Empire were taken over when Turkey was defeated in WWI.
I was born in Jerusalem during the time of the British Mandate and I have studied the history of the area.

Israel has never started a war against its neighbours and throughout its history Israel has been attacked consistently by the Muslims. I don’t say by the ‘Arabs’ because the neighbouring countries of Israel’s hate comes from their religion (Islam) rather than their ethnicity as such.

Around 20 % of the population of Israel are Arabs and, when I was there, it was apparent that they all got on together really well. Arab Israelis think of themselves as Israelis (as do the Christians and the Druze).

If every Muslim country in the ME put down their weapons tomorrow there would be peace. If Israel put down their weapons tomorrow there would be a bloodbath. Them’s the facts.

            9

            1

    • The Israelis could do that, and ultimately probably need to, but if they’re treated as genocidal maniacs now, how would they be treated after that?

Having said that, the Saudis and many others in the region would have to publicly condemn Israel, but privately would no doubt be thankful.

As far as I understand , NZ is economically suicidal so if it digs up coal from across the road at Huntly it uses up carbon credits; but if it imports lower grade coal thousands of kilometers via diesel run ships it has a lower carbon credit impact.

PM’s South East Asia Mission Does The Business
        Saturday, 20 April 2024, 12:30 pm

        Press Release: New Zealand Government

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has completed a successful trip to Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, deepening relationships and capitalising on opportunities.

Mr Luxon was accompanied by a business delegation and says the choice of countries represents the priority the New Zealand Government places on South East Asia, and our relationships in the region.

“In person engagements are an important part of maintaining and strengthening relationships with our partner countries, and I am committed to doing more,” Mr Luxon says.

In Singapore, the Prime Minister and Prime Minister Lee agreed to elevate our partnership with practical cooperation in priority areas of food security and supply chains, defence, investment and the transition to a green economy.

In Thailand, the Prime Minister and Prime Minister Srettha agreed to upgrade New Zealand’s bilateral relationship to a Strategic Partnership by 2026 and agreed to a shared trade goal of tripling our two-way trade by 2045.

In the Philippines, the Prime Minister met with President Marcos and agreed to elevate the New Zealand-Philippines relationship to a Strategic Partnership by 2026. They also set a shared goal to grow trade by 50 percent by 2030.

        blah blah blah…..
In line with trip’s theme of innovation and the green economy, Mr Luxon announced a NZ$41 million*** contribution to the Asian Development Bank’s Energy Transition Mechanism to support clean energy transition in the Philippines, Viet Nam and Indonesia.

The visit positioned New Zealand as a global leader in the areas of innovation, clean tech and green transformation.

“Our world-class technology industry is developing solutions to address the challenges being faced by our planet today, as we work together to drive forward the green economy.
        ———————–

of course it had to end with bullshit.
…The visit positioned New Zealand as a global leader in the areas of innovation, clean tech and green transformation….

almost a sense of humour like fatty Lange.

        No mention of Indonesia

That NZ can ‘help’ Singapore is pure hubris.

25 years ago the question was being asked why a country like NZ with population similar to Ireland and Singapore had such a shit economy.
The massive self destruction in 1984 to 1987 did not help.
Ireland had massive Deutschmarks poured in late 80s early 90’s from the EU to prop it up plus it had the advantage of proximity to Europe to have low tax US companies do a Euro HQ in Ireland.

Singapore simply did a lot of economic good shit and it pulled its oil out of the ground.
Air Hub, Shipping Hub, Insurance, SIBOR etc.
A benevolent dictator helped. The malevolent dictator adern hindered NZ, massively.

Of course Johnny keys said he would make NZ a banking hub but as we know that beady eyed cunt never did a damn thing he said he would.

  5. Yesterday had this to say in part of his comment about National :

” Few in Notional have been anything but a disappointment
    Reti feeble,
    Stanford yet to show any courage;
Mark Mitchell remains the mouthy disappointment he was ever going to be
Matt Doocey just MK Ultra Weird.
Melissa lee scored a big hit 5 years ago in ousting Clare Curran but this was a one off. She has generally been off par. ”

Except for Doocey, who I think should not be in Parliament, I wonder if the others are not performing as we might have expected them to, given their record when in Opposition, is because Luxon has his “bully boy hat” firmly on behind the scenes. The way he has come out publicly with Seymour and Peters suggests to me it could be the case. Luxon is coming across more and more as a very insecure “leader”.

    • That vicious, cross dressing, poo pushing coward J Edgar Hoover had dossiers – paid for by the US taxpayer- on all prominent people in the US.
      He used these for blackmail.
He blackmailed at least 5 consecutive US presidents until his death (20 years too late )

Given that there is significant US control of affairs here in NZ via spy tools like Fakebook, google, Xkeyscore M.S. and so on, luxon has access to a lot of data on these people.
The US will use this to control these people as they have around the world for over 50 years.

luxon is merely a puppet. A very confused person who is supposedly Christian but is pushing the sick trannie shit.
Promoting Green crap and climate change when any intelligent person knows it is bollocks.
Refused to speak to protestors in Feb 2022 – a chance to stand out- and never asked for a retraction of the River of Filth comment.

If you think there is a move afoot by the radical Maori fringe of New Zealand society to create a parallel system of government to the one that we elect at our triennial elections, you aren’t wrong. Over the last few days we have seen calls from one or two Iwi for prior consultation with Maori before ministers submit suggestions to the fast-track consenting panel of experts who are to make recommendations back to government on how to proceed with projects caught up in the toils of our out-of-date Resource Management Act. Various loud assertions about “partnership” and Treaty rights have been made to justify Maori having separate entitlements to everyone else.

  7. WOW! What absolutely world breaking investigative research from the CIA plants at NIWA.

Anchors and anchors dragging around from ships, damages the seafloor. I am, but Gobsmacked.

I guess as NIWA are so concerned at the damage ships anchoring are doing to the sea floor, they will in future no longer anchor their 73 metre vessel “Tangaroa” anywhere, but keep the engine running with dynamic positioning to keep the vessel in position.

Ooohh no, can’t do that either, keep the engine running, that will cause a hole in the Ozone Layer and then we will all die.

I notice, the sleuth that came up with this masterpiece was a Dr Watson, Holmes was not involved. And they waste Taxpayers money coming up with this, long and well know crap.

Rumble has received censorship demands from Australia, New Zealand, and other countries that infringe on everyone’s human rights.

We are noticing a dramatic increase in global censorship, unlike anything we’ve seen before.

    Same

    Joseph Mooney MP @JosephMooneyMP

It would be good to know who in New Zealand is making these censorship demands, and what the demands are for?

  9. Mrs Saggy chose a movie for us to watch last night. There is basically zero overlap between films she will watch and I can tolerate. However, although not my normal genre, this black comedy was a ripper – “The Gentleman”.

  10. It’s called working. Aren’t the long hours why they get paid more.

Who helps with the ’emotional toll’ of being an MP?

We all know that Members of Parliament have a job that comes with a great deal of pressure.

“In a way we are not too dissimilar to many workplaces that are grappling with the issues around wellbeing and better mental health. I’m of the age that I can remember a time in workplaces where you were probably told to leave your personal issues at the door when you went to work, and people weren’t interested in what was happening with your life outside of work.

“But now we see quite the opposite, where it is expected that there is a level of understanding around how we support people’s wellbeing at work and maybe the pressures they are facing.”

    • There are 51 list MPs today.
If they are in opposition they have ZERO responsibility.

They are expected to turn up on Tues/Wed for sitting weeks (not that many ) then have nothing else to do.
This is a ‘make work’ scheme .

Some fill in their time shoplifting or being decoys for shoplifters.
Some do the books for dodgy greenwash electric bike companies.
Some spend their time protesting outside spy bases or in aotea Square – wearing tea towels on occasions for reasons no sane person can establish. .

They are glorified book marks .

  11. In Michigan USA Barry Cadden, 57, recently pleaded no contest to 11 counts of involuntary manslaughter in a deal that took second-degree murder charges off the table. He was the operator of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility responsible for an “outbreak of fungal infections, which was traced to dirty conditions inside the lab and caused meningitis and other debilitating illnesses.”

He was previously sentenced in a Federal Court to 14.5 years for a 2012 outbreak that killed 100 people and sickened hundreds of others. (The new charges were laid at a state level & may not involve extra time served.)

Fourteen & a half years for 100 deaths! Every day for a couple of years Pfizer & our corrupt Western governments killed tens of thousands before smoko with the poisonous mRNA vaccines . Every fucking day!

The stakes are high. We can expect chicanery & clintoncide on levels never previously imagined before the Covid scum are publicly hanged.

  12. There is, it seems, an epidemic of illness among the working-age population.

This week the Office for National Statistics once again warned about the number of people being driven out of the jobs market because of ill-health.

And on Friday the government in England said it wanted to change the way they are supported alongside a crackdown on what it calls the “sick note” culture.

But it is not just those who are out of work who are affected. Research by the Health Foundation shows there are as many people aged 16 to 64 in work whose health limits what they can do as there are out of work because of ill-health.
