I went for drinks at Sky City last night. There were a few MPs and a number of people in different positions in their electorates. I will not name names but there were mixed views on freedom of speech. I gave my views quite strongly to those who believe in restricting it. National needs a strong point of difference on some issues and free speech should be one of those issues. I look forward to the start of the conference in a couple of hours.
Thanks for reporting back Chuck. Appalling that there are National party members who believe in restrictions on free speech. Are they sure they are in the right party? Seems they would be more suited to Labour or the Greens.
Thanks for the update Chuck. The only way we will get them to change is if you name the fuckers who do not wish to uphold the tenet of free speech. Only then will we know who NOT to give our electorate votes to.
