  1. I really despise the MSM, BBC World, Stuff etc.
They keep mentioning the progress of the Democrats impeachment of Donald Trump.
But they don’t even mention the good things he has done lately or the bad things the dems have done, in Ukraine and recently.

  2. Immigration Minister Iain Lees-Galloway didn’t request court judgements before granting drunk driver residency
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/10/immigration-minister-iain-lees-galloway-didn-t-request-court-judgements-before-granting-drunk-driver-residency.html

“The Immigration Minister wasn’t provided court judgements and didn’t request any when making his decision to grant a convicted drunk driver residency.

The unnamed criminal has eight criminal convictions. Six are for driving with excess breath alcohol and two are for driving without a licence.

In response to parliamentary written questions, Lees-Galloway said, “No court judgements formed part of the file nor did I request access to any as part of my decision making process.”

National’s justice spokesperson Mark Mitchell told Newshub it’s not a surprise.”

        • I don’t think the problem is incompetence or idiocy, frankly. It’s much more likely to be outright bribery and corruption.
This prick has been bought by someone. Someone in who’s country bribery is just the accepted way of doing things.

  3. An Aboriginal walks into a bar with a seagull on his head.
The barman inquires ”Where the fuck did you get that?”
”There are heaps of them at the tip”.
    Replied the seagull.

  4. I had to reactivate my Facebook account to move Spotify to a new PC. Apparently you cannot change the password if you signed up with your Facebook account. A bit of a mess to untangle.

But I took the time to scroll through some recent reporting on National. The left is really hammering them on social media. Particularly with the new beneficiary related policies. Mostly young people.

Seeing 1000+ comments on an srticle telling National how shit, uncaring and stupid they are – it leaves me feeling very uneasy.

    (closes Facebook and deactivates again…)

    • Rest assured those woke social media warriors will be far too busy to worry about a simple thing like democracy when voting day comes around. Remember the “youth quake” that was supposed to have happened at the last election? Then again maybe they recognized what a trite, vacuous retard Ardern really is.

    • We missed you at our meet up yesterday.
But yes I imagine social media will go crazy.
But what worries me more, is that there did not seem to be a swing away from left and greenie mayors and Councillors at the local body elections.
I was expecting a bit swing.

“Plans to penalise welfare recipients who don’t vaccinate their children have experts shaking their heads.

Lucy Sandford-Reed from the Association for Social Workers says she sighed when she heard their proposal. She says punishments don’t stop poverty:.”

But, you wouldn’t be protecting your own income would you Lucy? If you continue doing the same thing for those who are bludging on the state you will continue to get the same result. Have you not heard “teach a man to fish and he can feed himself?”

        • A well studied social empire building bureaucrat.

Cloward–Piven strategy is a political strategy outlined in 1966 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven that called for overloading the U.S. public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a socialist system, …….
          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloward%E2%80%93Piven_strategy

No hand ups, no accountability, no responsibility, so long as she can collect her increasing salary as she maintains and builds her clique of an empire.

  6. Most open and transparent government ever?

In more proof that the Wellington swamp is working 24/7 to defend the fascists on the left as the Chief Ombudsman Peter “one eye” Boshier rules that the JAG letter to WCC doesn’t have to be released.

You have to ask yourself what the fucking hell was National thinking in appointing Boshier to such a pivotal role? Looking a little more closely at Boshier’s background you have to say could they have found a less suitable left winger than Boshier? Although once you bite down on the bitter truth that National was really Labour Lite – then this bizarre appointment doesn’t seem to so bizarre after all.

National really have to wake the fuck up and start using their time in power to do what Labour do and load up all statutory appointments with people sympathetic to their cause. The Key government really did royally fuck things up by their appointments:
    – Jackie Blue
    – Susan Devoy
    – Peter Boshier
    – Finlayson’s ocean of chardonnay socialist judges

Combine this will Soimon’s support for disarming the populace and pauperising the economy because he believes in the cult of Climate Apocalypsism and they really aren’t working for us. Until they wake up and look around the world at the why popular nationalism is defining politics – they are the problem.

In the meantime, we can rely on Key’s Ombudsman to continue to help the Labour government maintain their reputation as “the most dishonest and secretive dictatorship of all time”.

    0

    0

    • Why would National do that? As a party, they are fundamentally no different than Labour. Their branding is different, but change the emotive wording and their policies are within spitting distance of each-other.

We need a Trump to drain the whole swamp and change how we do things completely.

  7. You have a fireman in Nelson and shop owner in the upper North Island trying to make NZ their home but have a Immigration Minister that makes decisions without a lot offact that helps Criminals to get residency before immigrants that are doing something good for our Country.

    • The same way they import refugees before takimg care of Kiwis. 1500 refugees being resettled here are 1500 Kiwis being left behind. Fucking Labour party.

      0

      0

      • But this is the strategy of the lunatics on the left. They do not serve us. They serve themselves. And they best serve themselves if they stay in power. And to stay in power, you need votes. And immigrants from 3rd world shitholes can only survive in the western world if they get the big phat welfare payments that draws them here in the first place. And who guarantees welfare payments and no checking up if you are not trying to work – the left! That’s who.

Studies in the US show that immigrants vote between 70% and 80% for the Democrats. No wonder they want open borders. Before a single vote is cast in a presidential election the Democrats have over a 100 electoral college votes guaranteed from the illegal immigrants states like California.

Who cares if the nation descends into 3rd world status and capital flies off to more friendly national settings? So long as the socialist can keep on taxing an ever decreasing number of contributing members of society they’re very happy.

So great, the Housing NZ housing waiting list is getting longer and longer, let’s bring in refugees who get first dibs on housing displacing NZers. Overburdened health system, great let’s further overload it by bringing in 1000s of refugees from health shitholes to really crush the health service out of existence. Great the police are so thinly spread they can’t deal with crimes other than speeding and online hate speech – I know let’s bring in a 3rd world crime wave to further incapacitate the police.

        It’s not incompetence, it’s a cynical self-serving destruction of a nation.

“This generation is a borderless one – at least in a virtual sense. One that increasingly see themselves as global citizens.”

So is signing in the rest of the world, just like Angela Merkel, not only to Germany, but pressuring the rest of the EU countries, even if they never did sign up.

Yet she also claims that signing up to the UN migration Pact will not effect us by much. Yeah right. 🙁
Also pressuring Australia, but wait till the big kick back, 🙂 as Australia realizes, ahead of us, that it will look after its own citizens.
Though in parts I see Australia having its own philosophical problems too.

  10. Police Minister Stuart Nash sends warning as gun amnesty enters final 50 days
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/10/police-minister-stuart-nash-sends-warning-as-gun-amnesty-enters-final-50-days.html

“The clock is ticking on the last opportunity to receive payment for prohibited firearms and parts or to hand over unwanted or unlawful guns without fear of prosecution under the amnesty. The process ends on Friday 20 December, in 50 days’ time.”

“If people don’t hand in the other prohibited firearms and parts by 20 December they will get no money and will face up to five years in prison and the loss of their firearms licence.”

“Lawful firearms owners did nothing wrong but the law changed and they found themselves with prohibited weapons. This was never aimed at them but was designed to stop another terror attack like that on 15 March.”

    Authoritarian bastards.

    • Nash sets a dangerous precedent, as next El Presidente I intend to use that precedent and here are my first thougts – all Ministers who promise and fail to deliver will be financially penalised – eg build 10,000 houses a year and fail suffer a deduction of $10 per house shortfall, Promise 100 Million additional trees deduction $10 per 1000 shortfall, promise to reduce child poverdy & fail $100 per child shortfall. Fail to read court papers, or threaten Local councils $10,000 per offence, interest at IRD rates until paid, non payment Bankruptcy proceedings.

I will be going and possibly making a remit asking the company to demand from the government weekly or monthly payments of interest on the money that is tied up on the land in South Ak till the matter is settled.

  12. The latest communique from National:

Today I launched our Social Services policy discussion document in Christchurch.

Social welfare should be a hand-up, not a hand-out. We’re proposing measures that respond to the diverse needs of New Zealanders, whether they’re new parents, those looking for work, vulnerable children or struggling to find a place to live.

Under Labour, 22,000 more people are on the dole, the state housing wait-list has doubled and 7 out of 9 child poverty indicators are worse.

It’s clear Labour just isn’t working for Kiwis.

Our plan will focus on reintroducing the transformative Social Investment approach, and providing tailored, targeted solutions to the social and economic challenges Kiwis face. That’s because people should be in the driver’s seat of their own lives, keeping more of what they earn because we know families know their own needs best.

The next general election is less than 12 months away, and we need your support to deliver the strongest campaign we can. Can we count on your support?

Thousands of Kiwis, like you, have chipped into our annual President’s Appeal Fighting Fund so far, because they support our values, and know that we are going to have to fight hard to win in 2020.

Your personal support will ensure the strength of our campaign is unmatched. Can you chip in to help our campaign?

Click here to chip in $30

Click here to chip in $50

Click here to chip in $100

we need your support to get New Zealand back on track. Kiwis deserve a Government that delivers results for them and their families. Under National’s leadership, our bottom line is YOU.

Please support our 2019 President’s Fighting Fund Appeal, and together we’ll win the 2020 Election and re-build a more prosperous and ambitious New Zealand.

    Regards

    Simon Bridges

But I chipped in last time and they wasted my money on recycled ads from the previous election.

…. because they used the Tax reduction in 2018 as a bribe that never came through.

National never did a tax reduction in 9 years.
They did a swap around of income tax rates offset with a GST rise in 2010.

Chip in that they have rambled on about ‘getting tough’ with benes but ALWAYS capitulate.
When Ruthanasia tried it in 1990 she was basically run out of town.
Neutralised and vilified by softcock socialist Bolger.

And then ….the Nats skited a few years ago that they raised benefits for the first time in 43 years in real terms.
      What was that about?
Mo’ money for people who would never vote for them and always vilify them.
      Pretty stoopid I say.
Double whammy:- Raise the income from the taxpayer pool to GIVE more to benes who will never vote for you or add value and piss off the taxpayers who in the past have put you in Govt.
Even now it appears they don’t get it.

Frankly Labour lite dont have the smarts to pull off what Bridges says.
Bill English did. he had the smarts and the Dryness to pursue this.
His social investment policy was one of the best ideas ever in social welfare and was showing results.
Soimon and his wets do not have the smarts nor the ability.

  13. I have come across an interesting paper on climate change by three Supreme Court justices (Winkelmann, Glazebrook & France), presented to a recent Asia Pacific judicial conference. While it discusses the legal environment around climate change and climate change litigation, it does so from a presumption that the climate alarm is real and that no alternate stance can be taken. It seems to be a strange place for the Supreme Court to go.

    • I believe Climate Change, even if true (not) has become a cover for a social controlling ideologies, so those judges can pressure with “social justice warrior” using continuing dodgy reasoning concepts.
So all there reasoning will get them there, a pathway and cover that encourages fanaticism, zealousness,, that does not worry about social outcomes or effects.
A simple way of saying, good bye freedom, and done by the supposed credible judiciary of supposed reason and understanding, who can do no wrong. Yeah right. 🙁

Just like I mentioned above with the social welfare system using ‘Cloward Pickens’ practices, to break the current system;- as the judges now threatens social pluralism — which is to say, it threatens freedom.

    • The NZ Supreme Court was always going to be a lefty puppet.
That’s why H. Clark foisted it upon us with absolutely no mandate to do so.
      We now have the trifecta.
      Low standard of law makers
      Low standard of law interpreters
      Low standard of law enforcers

Evidently we should have our own SC because we have grown up as a nation.

    • As soon as you mention Heather Of Africa you know the lies will flow.

…and by the by, when are the porky pigs going to advance a prosecution for her illegal gun purchase? There is full video evidence and her skiting about it.
Surely that would be better upholding of the law than going after legitimate gun owners who have always complied.
Esp. against the background of high profile illegal gun activity being performed by foreigners – Heather out of Africa and Tarrant out of Australia?

…and lest we forget the Anzac Day 2017 gun murder plus attempted second gun murder by serving cop Ben McLean!
But hey, National Pardy also thinks pursing honest licensed gun owners is a good idea. Remember that in Nov (?) 2020.
The illegal gun purchase by Heather of Africa was under their watch.

  15. Sweden’s truth ministry has had a slight leak.

“Almost everyone has parents who have come here mainly from the Middle East and Africa.
Altogether, they have been convicted of at least 180 crimes — everything from driving a car without a driver’s license to robbery, weapons crimes, assault and murder.
One of them is on Europol’s list of our continent’s most wanted criminals, suspected of having ordered two murders…
Half of them have parents who are also convicted of crimes. Drug crimes, harassment, money laundering, theft, smuggling and serious abuse.
But there are also examples of parents with stable incomes and an academic background”.

“For the first time now, more crimes — in absolute terms — are committed by persons of foreign background than by persons of Swedish origin…
The most crime-prone population subgroup are people born [in Sweden] to two foreign-born parents”.

……. The mainstream Swedish media, however, largely ignored the privately published report. ……

“With the exception of three people in the survey, all have been offered help since they were boys.
Some of them were already registered with the police as ten-year-olds… They have undergone programs… far from the criminal environment in Malmö…
It has not worked… what the social services have done so far does not help, and there are no more measures to try out”.

,,,,, It does not seem likely that any of these hardened criminals will be swayed much by “increased investments in schools and social services in ‘vulnerable areas'”, as one of the government proposals suggests.
Maybe some of the other proposals will improve the situation, but a far harsher crackdown on gang violence might regrettably be needed.

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/15090/sweden-gang-violence

So much regret, ….. but not about the victims who seemed to be just collateral damage.
So how far & fast is NZ following down that Swedish socialist dead end? so that it can claim to be “punching above its weight”

    • The Swedish judiciary have reasoned themselves to follow the laws, regardless about collateral damage.

Christina, 65, is sentenced to three months’ imprisonment for incitement to ethnic groups.
The statements express “punitive disregard for people with a Muslim belief”, ….
and to pay SEK 6,300 in costs …
… I’m so scared, I can’t handle anything. Should I sit in jail with criminals?
I have rheumatoid arthritis, deep depression and I will lose my home that I love, she says crying.

She also says that she is afraid of Islam, for the sake of her children and grandchildren.
      https://samtiden.nu/2018/09/hovrattsdom-fangelse-i-tre-manader-for-christina-straffbar-missaktning-mot-muslimer/ plus used google translate.

No mention in the Swedish article of what had happened in Christina’s life and why she posted

In 2016, the woman was beaten unconscious and bloody by a gang of so-called “unaccompanied refugee children” herself.
The assault affected her memory, among other things.
However, no one was convicted of the assault.

She has suffered very badly and feels extremely violated by the extensive and intrusive treatment by the police.
      https://voiceofeurope.com/2018/09/65-year-old-swedish-woman-sentenced-to-prison-for-criticising-islam-and-migration/

Coming to a place near us too.

  16. The thing with Bill English Social Investment policy is that we never heard much about.
It was gong on behind the scenes.
I think that was a big mistake as no one could see the results if any.
Unless you announce the stats before you start a policy
And say what the policy is
And then show the results every 6 months or so, then its useless..

    0

    • That was (just) part of their problem.
They pushed out ‘solutions’ for 2040 and 2050 like pest free, waterways, and so on.
Even the supposed tax cut was ‘in the future’
      WOFT.

It is a three year electoral cycle (at best) and a week is a long time in politics.
I suspect English was a true policy wonk but weak on people skills.
He did not get the required traction in TWO electoral campaigns.
He was hiding from Dec 2016 until 6 weeks before the election in 2017.
He is a back room operator and not a front man.
A Chief Operating Officer and not a CEO.

Exactly. In 2050 Bill English will be 89 yrs old! We can’t dwell in the past but the future isn’t ours to dictate.

I’d be happier if politicians on both sides of the house refrained from reading chicken entrails & concentrated on matters at hand.

    • NZ First absent from firearms committee: Is it about to pull the pin?
      Wed, 30 Oct, 2019

“New Zealand First have nine MPs, none of whom have to represent an electorate, but none showed up. We wonder if they are preparing to pull the pin on the firearms legislation and make the Government wait for the findings of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Christchurch terror attack.”

  18. ‘Having rules is a good thing’: Jacinda Ardern backs Twitter’s political advertising ban
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/10/having-rules-is-a-good-thing-jacinda-ardern-backs-twitter-s-political-advertising-ban.html

“The most important thing is that people are able to access clear, definitive information… and that people can actually rely on what they’re seeing during political campaigns.

The Prime Minister said having rules in place is a good thing.”

That needs to work both ways across the political spectrum Cindy. 🤥

    • The years between leaving home & marriage are very important. That’s when you learn how to cook, wash & always to have a replacement girlfriend in the wings ready to take over when it all gets too much. 🙂

      • Cooking is not difficult, boil eggs, make toasties, etc, buy a bag of salad. No need to buy takeaways every night. He was just trying it on cause he lacks motivation to do the work even to feed himself. After all why bother when there is a sheila across the hallway and everyone knows all women love cooking and cleaning. //

        • I agree that there’s bugger all difficult about knocking up a feed. In my flatting days three of us rented an old farmhouse on the edge of town. Mon, Tues, Wed we took turns to prepare something edible. We were all manual workers so chops, mince, spuds & a vege or two were okay so long as there was plenty of it.

Strangely though, there was never a shortage of chicks ready to step in & do their thing on the other nights of the week.

The joys of being an unsupervised young bloke in the swinging 60s!

          • We had homekill hogget chops and roast spuds etc tonight. Excellent!

Somehow, I doubt the bloke we read in the article is as popular with the ladies as you and your mates were nasska! 😉

            • That was the early part of the sexual revolution WG. Karma dictated that about halfway through I was taken prisoner & spent the rest of the era working two jobs & changing nappies! 🙂

            • I don’t know how the hubby organised it, but for all of his life he has managed to attach himself to females who can cook.
His mother couldn’t cook, so his babushka did everything until his father remarried.
His stepmum was a good basic cook; I’m a passably decent cook.. and our daughters are good cooks (- one a prof. chef).

The chef daughter basically taught herself to cook as she couldn’t stand another bought Pizza, which was hubby’s default dinner when I was o/s or off tramping… At the age of 7 she ordered him to buy a fresh chook which she roasted for their dinner.

Over the 40+ years of marriage, hubby has learnt to boil eggs, make scones, and in the last few months , make pikelets.
He seems incapable of doing much else, but I’m not complaining…. I’ve never lacked for a dish-washer.

    • …..”And what were her parents doing about her?”……

By accounts 50% of her parents were doing plenty! The full story is worse DigNap……much worse:

…..” The staff also reported the girls often behaved inappropriately or sexually, particularly with men, and were suffering from swollen, red genital areas.

At home, the mother frequently found her father in the children’s’ bedroom after he had been drinking.”…..

One of them is on debunking myths about poverty. It debunks squat.
        What a load of shit.

  19. The date is for this month, this year, and consider the unbelievable amount of time, dollars in rehabilitation and the years of education he received,
….. raped 20-year-old Megs McLean in a hostel in Wellington, New Zealand, in 2004.
When he committed the heinous attack, Al Baiiaty was on parole for raping two other women in 1997. ….
…. refugee was deported back to Iraq on Tuesday and has been banned from setting foot in Australia or New Zealand again.
…… parole board found that the Al Baiiaty had was ‘no longer a risk’ and had completed all necessary rehabilitation.

Upon his return to Iraq, Al Baiiaty will be set up with a job as well as being reunited with his fiancee. ……

    And she waited for him?
At least the Aussies have deported him and some how it was simultaneously rubber stamped by NZ!

  20. It’s well underway now.
If you were wondering who is behind this, it is Bill and Melinda Gates.

As our freedoms are depleted, control will be handed to the elites.

Big Brother Meets Big Pharma: Harvesting Biometrics Of Everyone

It’s all happening, just as we predicted. Big Pharma is officially partnering with the tech industry to pair “immunization” with digital biometrics, meaning humans will soon be microchipped, tracked, and ultimately controlled through a global identification matrix.

    • From BN’s link:

……”All of this is priming the public for an eventual mandate of microchip vaccinations, which will be required for every individual in order to buy and sell goods. Chowdhury openly admitted this in stating that digital identity systems will be necessary for “individuals’ access to services and livelihoods.””……

And so the global elite assume control……total control. Who would have thought it could be done so easily?

      • There are two things I have managed to avoid.
        The flu shot is one.

I have avoided catching the flu, even when surrounded by sufferers who have been “vaccinated”. (10 years flu free)

        Secondly, 5G salespersons.

Be careful when visiting the quack. Snake oil is slippery.

  21. How dare you!
Those type of speeches did enthrall quite a few, and there was a master of those about 80 years ago.

“I am, like many others, questioning whether I should keep using Facebook or not,” Thunberg wrote in a Facebook post last week. “Allowing hate speech, the lack of fact-checking and, of course, the issues of interfering with democracy… are among many, many other things that are very upsetting.”

“The constant lies and conspiracy theories about me and countless others, of course, result in hate, death threats and ultimately violence. This could easily be stopped if Facebook wanted to. I find the lack of taking responsibility very disturbing,” she added.

“But I’m sure that if they are challenged and if enough of us demand change — then change will come,” Thunberg concluded.

There is an off switch dear Greta. 🙂

Pig tails seems to be having bought a meme from the hijab one, dining out on the “Christchurch call” to have authoritarian control.
