  1. It looks like Barry Soper can’t bring himself to tell the truth about what most people are saying about his mate Winson being a corrupt selfish aresole. But according to his missis it Simon Bridge is the aresole and in cuckoo Land because he won’t come out and say he and National will refuse to do a deal with Peter’s and NZ F irst at the next Election.
    https://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/on-air/heather-du-plessis-allan-drive/video/perspective-with-heather-du-plessis-allan-when-it-comes-to-nz-first-simon-bridges-is-deluded/
It seems from Heathers writing of this column that Winston has blamed National for all of NZ problems and is not the way he wants for the NZ Economy so I would suggest it is Barry and Heather that are deluded as the corruption from this Coalition is unprecedented according to many NZer’s.

    • Winston informed the nation after the 2017 election that “capitalism is dead.” No one should have been left in any doubt that Winston had plans for the NZ Economy to change, and not for the better.

It is time for Simon Bridges to rule out working with the nasty maverick from NZF.

This story is not going away even after the threats from Winston and his Lawyer take legal actions against some.

  3. I think the judge in the Grace Millane case should tell us when name suppression will be lifted.
And he should also tell us why it was not lifted when the guy was found guilty.
What is the law in this type of case?

I found from a quick DuckDuckGo (Google) that he is a softball player who came back from Australia.

    13

    • The law is a ass and people won’t be to keen on Little being let loose to fix it. Everyone is to scared that if changed it will end up like Geoffrey Palmers not fit for purpose.

      7

    • I absolutely agree that name suppression should be lifted immediately when a defendant is found guilty.

It’s outrageous that this man can be allowed to hide behind anonymity. The most plausible explanation is that he is a Maori and the Thought Police have closed ranks to limit damage to the ‘mana’ of the Chosen People.

      11

      • I retract my comment about the guy probably being Maori. I’ve since read reports on UK news sites and seen his picture. He doesn’t look particularly Maori, so I’m probably wrong on this.

Which still leaves the question: why is his name being kept a secret? Who is being protected here and why? Is someone in his family a powerful person who has the reach to achieve something like this?

        5

        0

    • I am a lot less concerned about temporary name suppression as permantent name suppression. We still do not know if the Labour Youth Camp preditor has been sentened let alone his name.

      9

    • I remind fellow posters that while the suppression order is in place, identifying the murderer of Grace Millane is an offence and you should not post anything here (or on any other site) that helps identify him.

      3

      3

      • Hey Harvey, shouldn’t it be Ed’s job to post this kind of message, rather than yours?

Also it’s a bit superfluous, given that you don’t even need a VPN to find extensive reports about the guy and his history from multiple overseas MSM sites. There’s a search engine called Google which can be used for this if one is so inclined 😉

        5

        2

        • I totally agree with you that the suppression of this murderers name is ridiculous, especially as it is so easily discovered – notwithstanding the silly attempts by Andrew Little to wrangle Google into line.

And if I have offended you by reminding contributors that the blog owner could face censure if one of us breaks the law (however daft it is) then I can only say – get over yourself.

      • Is it illigal to send an e mail to Angry Andy with they guy’s name and photo? I would love to see his face if he got bombarded by thousands of e mails with that info on it…..

        6

        0

        • Nah he’s just like Shifty Schiff in the USA. Angry will deny he knows who it is.
It’s different when the left do it.

          10

      • I read a couple of comments that he is up on other matters that are still to be dealt with. Given that the Crown was wanting to call almost a dozen other prior sexual partners of his, (presumably to show propensity/similar fact evidence) it wouldn’t surprise me if there are other complaints.

        6

          • Presumably the prosecution would have been through the murderers dating site details during the investigation. Easy enough to contact recent women he dated to gather information on his dating style.

            • WG
Yep…bread and butter stuff for the Police I would say. A search warrant on the guys phone account and the hookup site would identify all of his previous scores. Police would have sought these ladies out and questioned them about the un-named’s proclivities

              3

              0

              • Another words selecting those women willing to support the prosecutions narrative- based on what they claimed to “feel”.

A claim that can’t be disproved or proved.

Courts should not allow feelings based evidence.

                1

                3

                • Again yep….The Police would/should have documented records of all such women interviewed. The Prosecution, I suspect, would only call those women that would benefit their case. Under the rules of disclosure, anyone that provided exculpatory evidence would be known to the Defence , and they would be able to call them.

    • Time to put cameras and microphones in schools

Well said DN15. The poisoning the minds of the young is the greatest challenge to our civilisation. Kids are no longer being educated, they’re being indoctrinated. This is why Cindy’s policy of teaching NZ history is so deeply concerning, as usual it’s what the Marxists AREN’T saying about the policy that is so disturbing. The pushing of the Marxist revisionist version of NZ history can only be achieved by displacing important history (like say politics in the 20th Century).

There is a very simple and quite cost-effective answer to addressing indoctrination in schools. Put a web cam in every class room and microphone them all up!

Why not? They’re public property. Every parent has the right to know how their kid is being educated. It’d be a great way to reduce and monitor the growing problem of sexual abuse of minors in schools. If teachers have nothing to hide why would they object?

It’s not like many other work places don’t have cameras in them and after all we’re talking about the nation’s most precious resource – why wouldn’t we take this small, simple step to ensure that our society is doing the best it can by them?

Why should education be carried out in such a secretive, closed door fashion?

No reason! Unless they have something to hide!!!!

      10

      0

      • I’m not in favour of a police state. I agree, there is an unwholesome level of Marxism being taught and far too much indoctrination by teachers spouting their political views, rather than educating children. There are other ways to deal with that though.

        • We certainly are moving towards “the dystopian future of a society bereft of reason”
We are cajoled into explaining our reasoning and told to shut up at the same time.
Any semblance of dissent is met with contempt and or disdain.
For authoritarianism to exist, extremism must be appear to be present, else the proletariat need not be controlled nor fear exploitation.

            3

            0

        • There are other ways, however, the only way to move the left on from their hate-filled ways of pushing their agenda is to use their own tools against them.

Every single policy initiative from the hate-filled left is wrapped around a level of injustice, state-intrusion and mistrust – their sacred cows have to be subjected to the same nonsense. Teachers are now the mainstay of the left’s platform, take their power to lie away from them and much good will almost instantly follow. We have cameras on fishing boats to ensure compliance, we have police wearing cameras to ensure their behaviour is up to scratch, we find that officials going door to door are miraculously less bullying in their approach when confronted with a camera holding citizen.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant, let’s really see the language and lies forced on our kids. Many parents would be horrified at the sex education their young ones are getting in the name of diversity.

No – we need to use the Alinsky rules against the high priests of the left. There may be other ways, but none that would have such immediate results for liberty in NZ.

          2

          0

          • And once you’ve won; watch how there will be cameras in every household. To ensure there is no family violence. It’s for the good of all. And in your bedroom to make sure you’re only having protected sex to help reduce the impact of children on the environment.

How many times have you seen the politicians take a serious stance against the rules of the previous government? The rights we lose under Labour, National continue to deny us.

You give National the power to put cameras in every classroom, you can bet your bottom dollar that Labour will use that same power in the same way you’ve used the example of the police and the fishing vessels to sell the idea of full-time cameras in schools.

Like I said, no thank you to the police state.

  5. The Culture War – update – the Joker

YSB is fighting on the side of right in NZ in the brutal culture war that has been waging since about the middle of the Obama years. Our particular battleground is freedom of speech and media lies, however it is only one of the battlefronts.

Possibly the one that the lunatic left care most about is in the entertainment world, where their agenda is pushed mercilessly in an attempt to solidify the brainwashing that kids are subjected to in state-funded Marxist indoctrination asylums (aka ‘schools’).

And it’s been pretty much one-way traffic on this for nearly 10 years now, but now it looks like we’ve turned a corner and there are signs peak-wokeness has finally been reached. In recent weeks, news has been reported mutely (by the left-wing MSM propaganda outlets) that “the Joker” has busted through the $1 billion earnings threshold.

So why is this significant? Well firstly, it’s a true counter-woke culture movie more than it’s a comic book installment. It’s the anti of every single woke movie that’s been rolled out from Hollywood recently, it’s entertainment first and fairly free of SJW narrative pushing. All the critics hate it because it DOESN’T push the standard SJW agenda, they tried to dress it up as inciting alt-Right violence and in the US they even had metal detectors to check everyone going in because the media lies made the authorities believe it was going to trigger theatre shootings (seriously this is how deranged the Hollywood media are!).

Even more significantly – this movie is ‘R’ rated! Which is what makes the $1 billion number so incredible! Obviously ‘R’ rated movies have a significant number of movie goers excluded and so they never make it as big at the box office as like the PG ones that everyone can get into.

To me this signals how starved the ‘silent’ majority have been of movie entertainment of late, and the fact that the mainstream media are not making a fuss about this incredible entertainment phenomenon, also tells me this is a big deal.

Basically, I try to support anything which sticks it up the bullies from the lunatic left – and aside from anything else ‘the Joker’ is a deeply engaging, disturbing, moving and absorbing experience. The ‘Academy’ has already said they won’t be considering Joaquin Phoenix’s other-worldly, next level performance for an Oscar next year (which is an injustice on the scale of the NZ 2017 election outcome) – there are so many signs that this movie terrifies the lunatic left – it gives me hope.

But don’t trust me, here’s how you know the film is a once in a generation jewel – the Guardian loathes it.

      • Have to agree Alice. That was my feeling when I left the movie theatre. I couldn’t think of any movie that seemed set to shift the norms and an unbelievable acting performance from Phoenix.

Whilst I love that it so deeply troubles the woke leftists, what I hope it achieves is that it shows that there is profit to be made from making good movies and burying the need to push an agenda.

  6. A series of short videos, theme about a “#walkAway” meetup, that is the ones who have figured that Democrat policy is not to their taste.

First video shows a guy with a “all lives matter” sign , and how that triggers some others.

    https://summit.news/2019/11/21/video-student-leftist-has-a-hissy-fit-over-all-lives-matter-sign/

It shows that the Democrat cult sure does not like “apostasy”, as they do not accept the loss of their “cult- ural” power and control. 🙂

Still good to see that besides the few noisy triggered ones, that come out of the wood work, others are just moving on, and around.

  7. It is nice to know that some of those celebrities and media are going to have to answer in Court, for their smearing put downs.

Now #NickSandmann will be able to start discovery and find out exactly what the reporters were thinking when they attacked Nicholas and the #CovingtonCatholic kids.”,,,

Will they settle out of court?
Do a deal with one?, take some money, and then continue with the rest and “take them to the cleaners”.
They will know best, and even if those media have enough assets to pay out?

When the first Europeans arrived in New Zealand they found an amazing civilization that had built mud huts, and were able to cook potatoes under ground, and were able to bury sea food shells.
They were amazed because thousands of years before that Romans and Greeks and Syrians and Egyptians had built large buildings from stone and concrete, that were stlil there, had written down their history, had drawn maps of the world, and had invented money, and built toilets with running water

No David – no Act unless 5%!

We will have to wait til next year to see what National announce re support pardies.

      1

      3

      • National will do a deal with ACT again and possibly with the New Conservatives. I doubt very much if they will do a deal with Peters. Bridges will not be bullied into announcing that before next year when the judgement over the vexatious court case is releaesed.

      • It would be rather amusing if National and Epsom decide to gift Labour another election. But do show us on the doll where the bad ACT touched you, Dig 🙂

        2

        • Pascal, I’d like to answer you but I don’t really understand the question.
Act only got 13,000 votes last election that is 0.05%
Even The Opportunity Party got 2.4%!
If they get up to 3% in a few polls I’ll start to think about them.

          0

          2

          • Dig, you are quite negative towards ACT. Which is fine, I accept they are not the party of your choice. But if you think National will be able to form a government going it alone, you’ve lost your marbles.

            5

            0

          • There were approx 2,500,000 votes in the 2017 NZ General election.
            0.05 % of that is 1250 votes.
ACT received far more than that.
You keep quoting this hideously wrong number over and over again.
Saying it over and over again will not make it right!

You sound how a befuddled NZ First supporter would – keep repeating erroneous data and make Whinestone very happy.
Or it seems you may prefer the latest generation of God botherers parading as the ‘New Conservatives’.
Colon Craig rebirth without the silly walk.

Did they hide behind a stone for a couple of days and on the third day come out into the light and say
‘Behold. We have arisen But big Col with the big dollars is not with us.
We are the NEW Conservatives and not associated with the (alleged, never proven in court) odd Colon’.

This outfit will pick up votes but are not removed from Colon Craig and Graham Capill.
They are even on form with being useless with dates and numbers on their website.
            They are not trustworthy.

About the only thing the NCs did not say on their website was :-
I want world peace…or become famous model.
They did say they will work with children.

I would trust the old form of Maori Party with Tariana Turia ahead of this talking in tongues crowd.
Dame Tari was a straight shooter and you knew where you stood.
This talking in tongues crowd are dubious.
The Notional pardy is so full of god botherers now they really have taken a large part of the Christian vote.
It is hard to start a fire without oxygen.

David Seymour has done more for :-
            -democracy;
            -freedom of speech;
            -freedom of association;
            -property rights;
            -self determination
than all 119 other MPs combined in the past year.

We will investigate ways to re-empower police to deal with minor misdemeanours instantly and effectively.”……

  13. One to pass on to the climate change believer kids and their friends : h/t Willie Soon

” We all have children – this is how you can help them address the “Carbon Footprint”.

After our daughter of fifteen years of age was moved to tears by the speech of Greta Thunberg at the UN the other day, she became angry with our generation “who had been doing nothing for thirty years”.

So, we decided to help her prevent what the girl on TV announced of “massive eradication and the disappearance of entire ecosystems”.

We are now committed to give our daughter a future again, by doing our part to help cool the planet four degrees.

From now on she will go to school on a bicycle, because driving her by car costs fuel, and fuel puts emissions into the atmosphere. Of course it will be winter soon and then she will want to go by bus, but only as long as it is a diesel bus.

Somehow, that does not seem to be conducive to ‘helping the Climate’.

Of course, she is now asking for an electric bicycle, but we have shown her the devastation caused to the areas of the planet as a result of mining for the extraction of Lithium and other minerals used to make batteries for electric bicycles, so she will be pedaling, or walking. Which will not harm her, or the planet. We used to cycle and walk to school too.

Since the girl on TV demanded “we need to get rid of our dependency on fossil fuels” and our daughter agreed with her, we have disconnected the heat vent in her room. The temperature is now dropping to twelve degrees in the evening, and will drop below freezing in the winter, we have promised to buy her an extra sweater, hat, tights, gloves and a blanket.

For the same reason we have decided that from now on she only takes a cold shower. She will wash her clothes by hand, with a wooden washboard, because the washing machine is simply a power consumer and since the dryer uses natural gas, she will hang her clothes on the clothes line to dry.

Speaking of clothes, the ones that she currently has are all synthetic, so made from petroleum. Therefore on Monday, we will bring all her designer clothing to the secondhand shop.

We have found an eco store where the only clothing they sell is made from undyed and unbleached linen, wool and jute.

It shouldn’t matter that it looks good on her, or that she is going to be laughed at, dressing in colorless, bland clothes and without a wireless bra, but that is the price she has to pay for the benefit of The Climate.

Cotton is out of the question, as it comes from distant lands and pesticides are used for it. Very bad for the environment.

We just saw on her Instagram that she’s pretty angry with us. This was not our intention.

From now on, at 7 p.m. We will turn off the WiFi and we will only switch it on again the next day after dinner for two hours. In this way we will save on electricity, so she is not bothered by electro-stress and will be totally isolated from the outside world. This way, she can concentrate solely on her homework. At eleven o’clock in the evening we will pull the breaker to shut the power off to her room, so she knows that dark is really dark. That will save a lot of CO2.

She will no longer be participating in winter sports to ski lodges and resorts, nor will she be going on anymore vacations with us, because our vacation destinations are practically inaccessible by bicycle.

Since our daughter fully agrees with the girl on TV that the CO2 emissions and footprints of her great-grandparents are to blame for ‘killing our planet’, what all this simply means, is that she also has to live like her great-grandparents and they never had a holiday, a car or even a bicycle.

We haven’t talked about the carbon footprint of food yet.

Zero CO2 footprint means no meat, no fish and no poultry, but also no meat substitutes that are based on soy (after all, that grows in farmers fields, that use machinery to harvest the beans, trucks to transport to the processing plants, where more energy is used, then trucked to the packaging/canning plants, and trucked once again to the stores) and also no imported food, because that has a negative ecological effect. And absolutely no chocolate from Africa, no coffee from South America and no tea from Asia.

Only homegrown potatoes, vegetables and fruit that have been grown in local cold soil, because greenhouses run on boilers, piped in CO2 and artificial light. Apparently, these things are also bad for The Climate. We will teach her how to grow her own food.

Bread is still possible, but butter, milk, cheese and yogurt, cottage cheese and cream come from cows and they emit CO2. No more margarine and no oils will be used for the frying pan, because that fat is palm oil from plantations in Borneo where rain forests first grew.

No ice cream in the summer. No soft drinks and no energy drinks, as the bubbles are CO2. She wanted to lose some pounds, well, this will help her achieve that goal too.

We will also ban all plastic, because it comes from chemical factories. Everything made of steel and aluminum must also be removed. Have you ever seen the amount of energy a blast furnace consumes or an aluminum smelter? All bad for the climate!

We will replace her 9600 coil, memory foam pillow top mattress, with a jute bag filled with straw, with a horse hair pillow.

And finally, she will no longer be using makeup, soap, shampoo, cream, lotion, conditioner, toothpaste and medication. 14. So protestors are preventing a ship from leaving port in Timaru

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2019/11/protesters-lock-themselves-to-oil-ship-in-timaru.html

What is disturbing is this; “They’ve set up tents on the deck, they’ve set up some banners. They’re ready to get comfy and stay here for a while.”

“Police are at the scene, telling Newshub they’re there to uphold the law and ensure safety, while recognising the legal right for protest.”

“Police will respond appropriately to any issues that arise,” a spokesperson said.”

Hang on; this isn’t a protest, it’s an occupation of a commercial vessel which in most countries constitutes piracy. At the very least it is an illegal trespass. So come on NZ Police, why don’t you do your fucking jobs and uphold THE LAW!

  15. New Zealand government ignored UN recommendations to increase African refugees
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/new-zealand-government-ignored-un-recommendations-increase-african-refugees.html

“But the Cabinet and ministerial papers show the government rejected UNHCR and MBIE recommendations to take more refugees from Africa and the Middle East and fewer from areas with lower refugee numbers, such as South America and the Asia Pacific.

UNHCR had asked for the proportion of African refugees to rise to a quarter and those from the Middle East to increase to 35 per cent to rehome refugees from Syria, Iraq, South Sudan, Somalia, Congo and Eritrea. MBIE officials recommended that option, saying it best reflected the humanitarian intent of the Refugee Quota programme.

But the immigration minister recommended to Cabinet a lower limit of 20 per cent each for those regions. The Cabinet settled on its own proportions: 15 per cent each, 1 per cent more than the proportion since 2010.”

  16. Some interesting news on the Westport rats and other dead animals which seems to contradict what DoC has been telling us. I must say I am absolutely shocked at the thought that the Dept. of Killing, ooops, I mean Conservation, has been economical with the truth.

Independent Testing Shows Wildlife Poisoned by 1080 (Sodium Monofluoroacetate)

Two non-profit environmental groups in New Zealand have today published independent test results indicating that 1080 poison was the likely cause of death at an environmental catastrophe in Westport, New Zealand. On November 9th, 2019, one week after a Department of Conservation (DoC) aerial 1080 poison operation 140 kms upstream, dead wildlife washed down the flooded Buller River. Hundreds of potentially toxic carcasses of rats, a goat, birds and numerous aquatic species were strewn across the public beach at Westport.

The full results of tests undertaken by an independent laboratory, using the latest methodology (see note below) and equipment, include samples taken from 5 rats, 1 weka, 2 shearwaters, 1 starfish and 6 mussels. The samples from 4 of the 5 rats tested positive for three chemical markers of 1080 poison, including the toxic chemical, fluorocitrate. This was also the case for both the shearwater birds. The starfish and weka also tested positive for fluorocitrate. There were no traces of 1080 detected in the mussels. The tests included stomach and intestines of samples extracted from carcasses collected from the beach and Buller River by volunteers. For the security and safety of the independent chemists involved, the identity of the laboratory has been withheld.

These findings contradict claims by DoC on Wednesday, which stated 1080 was not found in any of the wildlife tested. This raises serious questions about the methodology employed by the laboratories commissioned to undertake DoC’s testing. It appears from their lab reports (published on DoC’s website) that the samples were only tested for the presence of the active ingredient, fluoroacetate. But as Prof Shaw, toxicologist from the University of Canterbury pointed out, because of the delay in testing this would have already been broken down into other substances, for example, fluorocitrate. Scientifically valid toxicological testing requires the most up-to-date, and accurate methods to be used, and in the case of testing for 1080, that means analysis of the metabolic chemical markers of the poison from a variety of sources within the carcass. There are other serious discrepancies in DoC’s claims and associated toxicology reports. The number of rats tested is inconsistent, and in the pathology report of the weka it was noted “both lungs exuding frothy pink fluid”, a common symptom in animals that have been victims of 1080 poisoning.

The full results of these independent tests will be made publicly available on Flora and Fauna of Aotearoa’s website and copies sent to relevant government agencies and MPs. Flora and Fauna of Aotearoa and Clean Green NZ Trust, along with their volunteer supporters and many thousands of concerned New Zealand citizens, are calling on the government to act now to protect public health by initiating an immediate independent investigation into this tragic incident and stopping all aerial 1080 poison operations before more wildlife are harmed.

Note to Journalists: Sodium Monofluoroacetate (Compound 1080) is a highly toxic, inhumane, synthetic metabolic poison. It has no antidote. It is banned in many countries. The sublethal effects of the poison on humans are unknown, however it’s a proven endocrine disruptor and impacts upon the body’s major organs. It is manufactured in the USA by Tull Chemicals and transported to New Zealand’s two Government-funded poison bait factories, where it is mixed with cereal or other substances perceived to be attractive to ‘pest’ species (e.g. rats and possums). Tonnes of poison baits are regularly and systematically distributed via helicopters over thousands of hectares of New Zealand’s land and waterways – including drinking water catchments. For over 65 years of this practice New Zealanders have voiced their increasing concern about the negative impact of this indiscriminate poisoning, not only on wildlife, but on public health too, from contamination of the food chain. To date, there has been no independent studies of the claimed ‘effectiveness’ of this policy and no epidemiological research has been undertaken

NB Lab is accredited with ISO9001; 17025; 27000 QMS
Methodology is based upon the Pitt protocol (2015): biological material was removed from the frozen carcass, then an accurately weighed portion was homogenized using a polytron 3000 into extraction solvent. This solvent liquor was then cleaned-up and the cleaned pregnant solvent analyzed using HPLC with both Time of Flight, linear ion trap mass spectroscopy and fluorescence to check against standards containing fluoroacetate and fluorocitrate. The method STARFISH, WEKA< SOOTY SHEARWATERSwas checked for repeatability and linearity. FT-IR and Raman were used to check for the presence of green dye acid 9, as that is only used in the bait pellets and is not a naturally occurring substance at detectable limits. Complete and robust Chain of Custody with SoPs available upon request.

    • While there are some nutty people opposing 1080 , what we are not told is how fanatical and extreme the pro 1080 movement is.

A government department has lied to the public and DOC is involved in a massive cover up of an ecological disaster.

All to preserve the name of 1080, which the environmental puritans drop by the ton to bring about their garden of eden fantasy land.

    • I’m still trying to reason my way through this. It takes a massive number of convictions and some very serious criminal behaviour to end up in prison. Even more so for longer than the arbitrary 3 year threshold that has been selected.

I’m not comfortable with the idea that a government can stop a citizen of a country voting. They’re in prison, they’ve had their liberty removed. They can’t choose what to eat, wear, when they sleep – they can’t wander to their local cafe for a coffee. There’s already a fair amount of “punishment” in their lives. Not enough, I think. I really want prisons to be shitholes where you’ll go once and never, ever want to go back. The way, when I was a naughty lad my mom would give me a clip around the ears and I’d do my damndest to avoid that clip again. Like that.

But voting feels like it should be outside of the rights removal. Voting is fundamental and grouping citizens into different classes and using that to determine who can or cannot vote seems wrong. What if Labour says all members of the National Party are criminals, pass that legislation and remove our right to vote?

It’s extreme, but feels wrong in the same way.

And yet, at the same time, I damn well don’t want criminals who have rejected our society to be allowed a say in it. Probably because the majority of them would vote for the big government, statist parties.

“It is a compact system+not unusual for the time of year-but is bringing gales and heavy rain to a populated part of the Pacific,” it says.

“Heavy rain and strong winds are forecast to affect many parts of Vanuatu during this forecast period.”

Between nine and 12 cyclones will move across the southwest Pacific between November and April. New Zealand is typically affected by one ex-tropical cyclone per year.”

  23. A case of giving a puppy a bad name and then hanging him, or a case of, If you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas,

Edris Barez, 26, will be closely watched by authorities because of his links to ‘Islamic radicals’ ……
Barez – who was born in Afghanistan – was serving time in a maximum security prison in New South Wales ……
Barez was released from prison on parole in 2016 and soon after returned to praying at Quakers Hill Mosque. …….

But it was Barez’s relationship with another member of the gym, Ahmed Elomar, that was of most concern to authorities.

Elomar – the younger brother of dead ISIS fighter Mohamed – is himself on a high-risk terror watchlist.

During a search of Elomar’s mother’s house in July 2019, police discovered a mobile phone containing a series of WhatsApp text exchanges between Elomar and Barez.

These messages appeared to reference Elomar’s horse stud, the logo of which has an image similar to an ISIS flag and contains key Islamic words as part of its motto.

Other WhatsApp conversations involving Barez made reference to teachings of Ibn Taymiyyah, a hard-core Islamic radical who was an inspiration for Osama Bin Laden.
    —————
Barez was just 18 when he committed a spate of violent armed robberies with friends across Sydney’s west in 2011.

Court documents seen by Daily Mail Australia reveal that on May 19, 2011, he walked into a liquor store wearing a balaclava and armed with a submachine gun.

But despite their heavy artillery, Barez and his accomplice left empty handed.
    ———-
He was sentenced to five-and-a-half years jail for those crimes, but even prison bars were not enough to stop his offending.

During his time in custody he was charged with 23 offences, including the extremist artwork that now runs down his arm.

Officers at Wellington maximum security prison first noticed Barez’s arm in February 2014.

At that point only the letters ‘ALQ’ had been inked, but within months it was finished.

In March that year Barez saw a plane flying over the prison and walked up to a guard who was standing nearby.

‘I wish I had a RPG (rocket propelled grenade), I would blow that plane out of the sky,’ Barez allegedly told the Corrective Services officer.

When the prison officer asked if he wanted to be a ‘terrorist’, the inmate allegedly responded: ‘Well I’m not an extremist, but I love Al-Qaeda’.
    ———–
He was released on parole in 2016 at which time he took up a carpentry job working for a company.

Just months earlier his new boss Muhammad Wahabzadah had himself been arrested for possessing a rifle, ammunition, knives, knuckle dusters and an Islamic State flag.
    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7704871/Sydney-boxer-Al-Qaeda-tattooed-arm-terror-watchlist.html

Sub machine guns, heavy artillery, just a ‘repeater’ rifle?
And Australia supposedly has that all boxed up and put away.

Was he picking up more fleas, at Quaker Hill’s mosque?

I see he is having the tattoo removed supposedly for aesthetic and hygiene reasons
“The Prophet cursed the one who does tattoos and the one who has a tattoo done.”
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_perspectives_on_tattooing
That will allow him to more righteously follow in the foot steps of his leader.

So as will be claimed, he served his sentence, to society, enough said, and so will only get a “flea in his ear”

“A man has died after being shot by police in Tauranga today.

Bay of Plenty District Commander Superintendent Andy McGregor said the man threatened his partner with a knife. The woman managed to escape and call the police from a neighbours house.

Three children were in the house with the man, who held a large machete to the throat of one of the children.

Police arrived at 12.25am and entered the property shortly after 3pm after a standoff. They were confronted by the man and he was shot by police. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two children who were held hostage weren’t injured.”

          3

          1

        • As for 3 hours to give up… are you aware there is no special law allowing the police to shoot people?

They can only use deadly force under the same circumstances as anyone else. In defense of themselves or another.

Getting bored standing around for 3 hours is not grounds to kill a grieving father.
The pigs want that right to self defense removed from us while crying for more rights to kill for themselves.

          Fuck the police.

          1

          4

          • …..”there is no special law allowing the police to shoot people”…..

            True.

…..”They can only use deadly force under the same circumstances as anyone else. In defense of themselves or another”……

And an unbiased yet subjective argument could be had they were acting in defence of another.

….”Getting bored standing around for 3 hours is not grounds to kill a grieving father.”……

            Definitely.

…..”The pigs want that right to self defense removed from us while crying for more rights to kill for themselves”……

            True.

            ……”Fuck the police.”……

They are a necessary evil. No form of civil society can exist without some form of state authority/protection. What is occurring is that the police are encroaching into the role of the judiciary.

This is very dangerous & politics that endorse this must be resisted.

I was basically forced in to a corner and caved in but I have my property with a big mortgage again.

I have been looking at case law around ‘occupational rental’ as some judge made a decision that a guy had to pay out such based on 4.9% of the valuation. That was then backdated at the current valuation. This then becomes precedent.
This can create anomalies depending on the property. eg you cannot charge the same rental for land as you do a house.
What got me through was the many other guys I have seen lose everything. Distraught and screwed.Yes.
