    • 5 years odd and out in two for good behaviour. He will continue to reoffend etc etc. 107 offences, he is a serial offender and this time incarcerated will do little to change the patterns in his life. Shame that here we have someone that has totally wrecked two young girls lives and he gets little more than a slap on the wrist with the wet bus ticket. Those girls and how ever many others he offended against will be damaged for life. So he gets a holiday on us and perhaps learns more “skills” to bring to his offending in the future.

      • It’s not about the victims anymore it’s about feels and not having people with shocking records in incarceration so Labour can use the billions saved to stay in power. These policies will result in death handlers hope Andrew Littles badly drafted Laws will come back to bite him on the arse.

  1. You have to wonder why Labour waited to borrow More than twelve billion dollars and it’s been predicted most of it will go on Transport and roading especially the ones that National hadthe pipeline like the Roads of National Significance.
    https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/118180532/the-left-keeps-losing-winning-will-take-new-friends
Like Australia and Bill ShortlandLabour lost election that was theres to win and in Britain Jerome Corban lost a Election with there loss being the largest since the Margaret Thatcher era. So you have find the path that Ardern and Robertson have taken witch is to copy National Roading policy is the loss of nerve and conviction of there own policy for the fear of losing at the next Election.. I would suggest her biggest problem still is Phil Twyford the Transport Minister and the policies of his dreams in Rail in which in the last day he has been Quoted that petrol taxes will be used to fix and relay better railway lines witch will Llow trai s that they will purchace that have speeds of 170mph and encourage millions to use rail as there preference.

    9

    • The twit Twyford is talking shit again.
Who lies the most him or Cindy?
Yes the train maybe able to reach 170mph in another country!
Not on NZ narrow gauge tracks, which enable a tighter radius corner.

I don’t think the COL will start many (if any)of those roads of National Significance.
Its against their DNA Genter and Twyford love rail and cycleways.

  3. I’m going to start a new tourism business here in Tauarnga called Whale Watch

Yesterday I went to a mall. I saw so many obese people, mainly women
Teenagers in shorts with legs like Kauiri trees
Middle aged women with asses twice as big as Kim Kardashian
Other ladies that waddled along like ducks as they cannot walk properly.
Blotchy skin on the European ones where the toxins are trying to get out.
Men the size of the Hulk with tummies hanging over their belts.

Its really disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves.

    18

    • Absolutely Diggy. Vast numbers of women are so fat they can’t even walk normally.

Aside from fatties, the general physical condition is appaling. Flat footed, feet splayed out at crazy angles. Wobbly legs. They are genetic garbage.

Btw one of the most accurate ways to assess how long someone will live is the speed they walk – look it up. It’s a great indicator of health.

      • Women should have to pass a physical test before creating spoor that will receive tax payer funding for schooling, health, benefits etc.

The genetically inferior can still have spoor, but they bear the cost.

There should also be standard physical test for all govt jobs. Say 5 press ups, 2 pull ups and 5km walk in 45 minutes modest and effective.

Good bye fat angry women with a chip on their shoulder

    • I had not watched our local tv news for a week or so, then last night whilst channel surfing my g/f found Ardern at a news conference on White Island.
She was bobbing from side to side trying to look concerned, and looking for people that were looking at her.
It makes me ashamed to be a New Zealander with a leader such as her.

  6. Te Papa in hot water with farmers, MP over water pollution display

Farmers have taken to social media to air their complaints about Te Papa’s water pollution display.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/te-papa-in-hot-water-farmers-mp-over-pollution-display?auto=0

Farmers from around the country shared photos of streams on their own farms criticising the museum.

  7. Corbyn is Jacinda and Jacinda is Corbyn

So the morning after the Crucifixion of the UK Labour party – experiencing their most horrendous defeat since 1934 – what’s in it for NZ to learn.

Why did this happen? Well firstly, Corbyn looked over at little old NZ and grabbed the COL’s policies (promise to plant a bunch of trees, promise to build a bunch of houses etc and hope the stupid voters won’t doubt you, here’s free wi-fi you stupid cellphone tappers, unfettered immigration, give the vote to donkeys etc) and because it appears that the UK is now fully awake to the lying political classes – they didn’t buy it at all.

The British people voted for independence (even the deranged kilt wearers did – albeit from the UK). It was a vote against globalism. It was a vote against Chicken Little Climate alarmism. It was a vote for nationhood. It was a vote for the regions.

Which while it is alarming for the fascistic left over here.

It’s even more alarming for National if they have the brains to see this for what it is (their future). National are now about the same place that the Tories were under Cameron – which is about right – NZ politics evolves about 10 years behind the rest of the world. And if Soimon had any brains at all he’d look at his plate of policy offerings and compare them to what Boris put out there – and he’d realise there’s a huge bunch of shy tories out here in NZ who are getting seriously fucked off with his lot.

Cameron took his base for granted all the while gradually surrendering the UK to the nightmare cult of globalism, he didn’t see the melting away until he had to offer a referendum to keep a lid on the drift for a few more years. He counted on the stupid proletariat to do as they were told by their ‘betters’ and he got fucked up the bum when the proles voted with their feet. The next battle line was drawn when after the referendum they decided to install a Remainer as PM and work on the basis that the stupid proles grubbing in the dirt will be distracted by the diversity gambit and in a few months of grunting they’ll forget and fall in line. Wrong again – the 2017 election should have been an electrifying wake-up call of what was going on – but no the complacent and entitled wankers pottered on trusting to their secret weapon (John Bercow) to get them through this little hiccup and put down the idea of freedom from the EU. And it wasn’t until Boris stormed in, at every turn doing things that everyone said wasn’t possible – that things came right and the will of the people was observed.

I say all this because National are following exactly the same path. Their base has changed. The Labour party has deserted the working class. The old National voting middle class (now transformed into chardonnay ‘woke’ socialists) have deserted National. Traditional Labour voters are now ripe for plucking by National, they want:
    – no more refugees
    – no more climate change bullshit
    – no more taxes
    – no more putting men in women’s toilets
    – no more shitting on farming
    – no more PC bullshit

And what are National doing – the exact opposite.

It’s out there. We saw it in the UK last night. National are in denial. They have been since Trump won.

    • Yours is an excellent analysis DP and makes very good reading.

The major fly in the ointment, however, is that in both the UK and US cases, there was a man with energy, personality, intelligence and, more importantly, charisma leading the anti-woke revival at a national level.

In New Zealand there is no such man (or woman either). I know this sounds negative and defeatist, but seriously we are fucked. The closest we have here is Whatsiname Seymour who has his head screwed on but has so little charisma that at the time of writing I honestly can’t remember his first name.

To effect real change, a country either needs a charismatic leader or such a disaster they they will try anything out of desperation. In our case, I fear that the latter is more likely to be the scenario. Maybe in 2023 when there are riots in the streets, when the system has completely broken and there is food rationing and gangs of criminals are ruling our cities. Maybe then someone will emerge…… but I’m not holding my breath.

Lets hope National get them to run their campaign.

      • I thought about it Alice, but when I’ve done that sort of thing in the past, there is no acceptance or even acknowledgement.

They’re on the wrong track and they don’t know it. They are not open to even considering another perspective, we know this because they made Soimon their leader. It was clear that only the self-serving party hierarchy wanted to “go woke” but they went for “DIVERSIDDY” and put Soimon in. As someone wise once said “There’s none so deaf as them that won’t listen”.

So no, I’m over doing communicating with people with painted on ears.

And you know what, if National are even 1/10th of a political party, they have researchers assigned to gather intel across the political blogs. Farrar’s KB was inhabited by National party luvvies. They know YSB is up and running. They know that KB is not offering any political insights to them anymore as they’ve become fully cucked. If National are even 1% ready to govern, they’re harvesting the themes coming up here time and time again.

And if they are so crushingly incompetent that they don’t know places like YSB are now the real Mainstream Media – well they can’t be helped.

    • Great piece DP except for ” It was a vote against Chicken Little Climate alarmism”.

The UK Conservative are as strong on the BS as the other parties. They let May sign a Bill on the BS just before she stood down that will cost the UK 100 of billions over time. Even Hammond objected to it publicly but it made no difference.
The Tory manifesto was full of it. I’m not sure if Boris is all on board or if it is his Greenie girlfriend who is pushing behind the scenes .

        • Another interesting aspect of the result. The Herald has a headline saying it was a disaster for the Farage and the Brexit Party. But if you look a little deeper you will see several, if not many of the seats the Cons got up north off Labour were the result of the BP taking votes off Labour that swung the seat and not an increase in vote to the Cons.

          The Labour Party acknowledge this
          https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/12/13/corbyn-ally-admits-brexit-party-stole-labour-votes/
So the BP had the effect it wanted but it materialised in a different way to what most expected.

The other obvious conclusion is that Boris / CP will not be able to get too comfortable because next time with no Brexit, as a main issue, and Corbyn gone then many of their gains will probably evaporate unless they perform extraordinarily well over the next 5 years.

          11

          0

          • If there was any intellectual honesty left in the MSM, we’d see Farage’s face on the cover of Time magazine.

Brexit would’ve been extinguished if it wasn’t for him. His landslide victory in the EU elections is the reason why:
            – the Tories sat the fuck up and realised they were vulnerable
            – Theresa May got the boot
            – Boris got in
            – Boris went so hard out on a “Get Brexit Done” message (if he didn’t Farage would’ve)
This whole election was about a response to the massive political pressure he created. He changed Britain and he has probably been the core reason why the EU fails over the next few years. Without Farage it’s almost certain the big fucking powerful UK military would’ve come under EU control and it would’ve only been a matter of time before the EU dealt with dissent by once again rolling in the Panzers to Poland and Czechoslovakia.

      From: Colin
      Subject: Re: interesting observation?
      Date: 14 December 2019 11:30:37 am NZDT
      To:

Above all else, the Brexit vote was against almost unchecked immigration and especially of people who have no intention of integrating into British society and culture.
A similar backlash against immigration of ‘non-integrators’ has built up in NZ – especially in grass roots regions like the South Island – and is growing despite the government and PC propagandists force feeding the imagined merits of ‘cultural diversity’ down the throats of Kiwis.

      • Thank you for that Alice. That gives me hope! And that’s saying something about a sad old bastard like myself!

Although – I see that Soros has bussed in a bunch of left winger clone warriors to show how much he respects the democratic process (unless it goes against him). As Churchill said “The fascists of tomorrow will call themselves anti-fascists”.

It’s weird the very second a protest against a conservative starts, the MSM is all over it like flies on a dead ISIS fighter, but when it’s the French Gillet’s Jaunes – they just can’t seem to find them even after 58 weeks! Funny that!

And even more so muslims who will never mix with our kiwi values. (Not that I’d ever want them to)

  8. ‘Let the healing begin’- Boris Johnson
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/world/2019/12/let-the-healing-begin-boris-johnson.html

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called for unity to heal the Brexit divisions that have riven the UK, hours after winning a commanding election victory.

The face of the victorious “Leave” campaign in the 2016 referendum, Johnson fought the election under the slogan of “Get Brexit Done”, promising to end the deadlock and spend more on health, education and the police.

The outcome of the negotiations will shape the future of Britain’s $US2.7 ($A3.9) trillion economy.

After January 31, Britain will enter a transition period during which it will negotiate a new relationship with the remaining 27 EU states.

This transition period can run until the end of December 2022 under the current rules, but the Conservatives made an election promise not to extend it beyond the end of 2020.

Defence Force senior officer colonel Ryan McKinstry confirmed at a press conference after the recovery members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal – E Squadron – were part of the six man and two women team who went on to the island to recover the bodies.

They don’t mention that Ardern ordered that the women in that unit had to go along. I can understand why Sooty would ask you for something to back that up.

    • Sad.
Fantastic runner. I remember seeing him first break the record at Cooks Garden ( Wanganui) when I was a kid.

I think he shows that heart issues must have a large genetic element to them. He was a great , fit athlete who went on to study and research exercise science. He maintained his fitness and I presume looked after his health and diet.

      11

      0

      • I was just saying the same to hubby about Snell being fit and an athlete and dying relatively young. Then there are people like my M.I.L who lived to 97 even though she never exercised and was fat, and she wasn’t of a “jolly” disposition. When your time is up…

        14

        0

      • From my Diaries:

In 1965 (Snell) came to Taihape – we were in Waiouru at the time – on a speaking tour after his Tokyo double-gold.
Mum and Dad took me along and the drongo at the door said to me – I’d have been 12 or 13, can’t remember what time of year it was – ‘Would you like to ask Mr Snell a question?’
I gave him my best withering look and said something like ‘Hell, no, we’ve come 20 miles to watch other people do that…’
All of which went way over the head of the door drongo. ‘No’, he said, very condescendingly, ‘I meant we have questions already written so that youngsters like you can ask him something.’
Again the withering look – ‘He’s my hero. I know his record backwards, his times, his records. If I get to ask him anything I’ll ask him a question of my choosing, okay?’
So, up Mr Snell gets, talks for about 20 minutes, illustrated with slides, real interesting…
        ‘Are there any questions?’
        Absolute silence from the hall.
No-one wanted to be first, lol.
Little kids were holding their pre-printed questions with ‘What inspired you…?’ and ‘What colour is a gold medal?’ and other like doltish questions…
        So I stood up…
‘Mr Snell, you’ve won 3 Olympic gold medals and you hold world records over 800 metres, 880 yards, 1000 Metres and One Mile. You’ve done it all. Except set a world record over 1500 Metres. Or even attempt to. Why?’
‘Oooh’, Peter replied, ‘I wasn’t expecting that’, ha…
And then he talked for about 5 minutes on the various reasons – him regarding himself as a half-miler rather than a 1500 Metres/Mile man, him never being asked to run over that distance – ‘everyone wants me to do a Mile’ – and him recognizing that the 1500 Metres world record at the time was ‘a pretty good record’…
        I was in raptures, lol.
Finally he finished and asked for any further questions…
        No-one piped up.
Who’d want to ask ‘What colour is a gold medal?’ after that, eh?

        RIP, Peter.

The body hugger should be an undertaker not PM.

    • @rightoverlabour – That principia-scientific.org site is great!
      Their “about” statement says –

“Principia Scientific International (PSI) is the only independent science body in the world that is legally incorporated to champion the traditional scientific method, as set out in the work of Karl Popper (above)

According to Karl Popper, one of the most influential philosophers of science in the past millennium, “In so far as a scientific statement speaks about reality, it must be falsifiable; and in so far as it is not falsifiable, it does not speak about reality.”

Here we detail our core values. PSI is pioneering a new approach to scientific peer review: Peer Review in Open Media (‘PROM’). Our senior team have incorporated many of the ideas of Karl Popper in our Mission Statement. ”

The very best of luck to them!

    • Although the survival of mother & son is to be celebrated the ignorance of those employed to write news releases beggars understanding.

The phrase “after his mum’s car crashed” conjures up the image of a ton of steel & plastic developing suicidal tendencies which removed control from the driver. A realistic description would be “mad, incompetent female motorist whilst yapping on cellphone or otherwise self distracted drives car into river”.

  12. The King is no more. After his last rant today about the Jews, I have had enough and deleted him from ysb.
In the past 3 days I have sent a shot across the bow by deleting most of his posts. This has not been taken heed of, so he is no more.

There is another one who is very near to going the same way, so be warned. I am not always able to see every comment as it is posted and have trusted the members of YSB to be more considerate in their comments.

      • Nah, definitly not you. However, it is always good to reflect on what one posts, as it is easy to get carried away. I know I am guilty of posting stuff that may in hindsight be a bit iffy. Its a good thing Stephie, Martin Williams and Morrisey don’t post here, or else I too might get sin binned.

  13. From the Telegraph. Either these guys are in denial of the new reality or Johnson has already capitulated behind the scenes

“European Union leaders hailed Boris Johnson’s landslide election victory on Friday, as Angela Merkel said his “strong mandate” will mean he can more effectively negotiate with the bloc in difficult trade talks which must be finished by the end of next year.

The heads of state and government urged Mr Johnson to use his majority to forge the closest possible trading relationship with the bloc but warned Britain would be expected to follow EU rules and regulations.

Leo Varadkar, the Irish prime minister, hinted that Mr Johnson could be prepared to do just that, saying the two men were “in a similar space”, as Denmark’s prime minister Mette Frederiksen said the EU would demand access to UK fishing… “

  14. I’ve been mulling things over about what the most **critical knowledge** is that I would like to get across to the young people in the world today.

I’ve come up with these “categories” –

1 – Learn about facts, logic and reason, and “logical fallacies”.

2 – Learn that most (if not all) “teachers” and lecturers have a hardline Leftist agenda, and learn that the media LIES all the time.

3 – Learn about the German leftist scumbag Rudi Dutschke and his urging the Left to do the “long march through the institutions” of power – teacher training colleges, schools, universities, media, governments, councils. **That alone** explains damned near 80 percent of why the West is the way that it is today.

4 – Learn that so-called “manmade climate change” is BULLSHIT, and *why* it is bullshit.

5 – Learn about leftism/socialism/communism – why they are evil, why they can never work, why they should be actively fought.

6 – Learn the basics of economics and what capitalism really is, and learn that IT WORKS.

7 – Learn about why Islam is the most evil ideology to have ever existed.

8 – Learn about **history** – the ancient greats (e.g. Archimedes) – the explorers, scientists, inventors.

9 – Learn about *traditions* and sayings, and about the English language.

    Not a bad effort for a start, I’d say……. 🙂

My aim is to “beef up” each of these categories and then distribute the result as widely as possible.
( Note to self – “teachers tell you bullshit” (e.g. about “climate change”) would be better-received by young people than the language used in category 2. )

  15. The Chinese term for liberals is Baizou (pronounced ‘bye-tsaw), is a Chinese epithet meaning naive western educated person who advocated for peace and equality only to satisfy their own feeling of moral superiority.

A baizou only cares about topics such as immigration, minorities, LGBT and environment; while being obsessed with political correctness to the extent that they import backwards Islamic values for the sake of multiculturalism.

The Chinese see the baizou as ignorant and arrogant westerners who pity the rest of the world and think they are saviours.

      • Stigie:

Moderation has ruined Kiwiblog. There’s no longer any spontaneous banter, with the cut-and-thrust of two people verbally jousting each other, which made Kiwiblog so entertaining. The days when Starboard and Mikenmild could do battle, with people taking side-bets on who’d prevail, are sadly long behind us!

            • It’s the time delay in getting comments approved that is killing Kiwiblog. It’s a pity because there are (or have been) some really clued up cookies who offer their perspective. I’m thinking of the likes of Graeme Edgeler who would answer reasonable questions from fellow commenters.

Personally, I can’t think of any comment I’ve made on KB in the past nine months that hasn’t survived moderation but many have appeared hours after I’ve forgotten I made them. Bring this fact up & all it produces is sobs about how moderators have lives too!

DPF indicated that he was to appoint ten moderators. I reckon that nine of them have died in the interim & Batman has a bad cough.

It predated the comment voting system. Someone could comment as “Dad4Justice”, in addition to the real D4J on the thread, and comment on, say, women’s rights issues from a feminist perspective. To someone reading the thread, it looked like D4J was a busy commenter. I’m on my mobile phone at the moment, but I’ll track down a thread example and post it tonight or in tomorrow’s Have Your Say thread. You’ll enjoy it!

  18. What happened when Nasska attended Stephieboy’s stag-do:

A man in a nurse’s dress found Sellotaped to a traffic light on Palmerston North’s St Lukes’ main drag has proven you’ll never know when you might need police help. The likely stag party casualty was found abandoned and helpless on the corner of Main and Princess Sts in sight of morning shoppers and motorists. Reports suggested his nurse’s dress had a sheep goat and St Albans logo on its front.

    • Many years ago we did this to a fellow workmate when his to be wife put the kibosh on him putting on a shout for the boys prior to his wedding.

None of this girly tape although. HT chain & padlocks coupled him to a lamp post in the centre of a fairly small town. The volunteers from the local Fire Brigade cut him free when everyone got sick of his blubbing! 🙂

      • At least he wasn’t marked when the chains were cut off. I’ve heard of grooms unable to make the wedding after they’ve woken up on a train in another part of the country on their wedding day, or turning up for their wedding with only one eyebrow. 🤨 😂

The appropriate response in that situation is to find someone to get married to in the new location, then bring her back to the original location for a honeymoon and to meet family and friends!

Spain’s National Police began investigating the group more than two years ago, after receiving an email with a tip-off.

They then enlisted the help of Europol, Interpol, and the police in Ecuador and Costa Rica.

As well as Spain and Uruguay, arrests were made in the UK, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Peru, India, Italy, France, Pakistan and Syria.

Now how far off in NZ in turning the tide?
To note the principles of “free speech”, to discuss and debate all things, with out this hidden and also self censorship, imposed by academia, media, politicians.

Some one who just has those principles in their life and thinking, to arouse others to think and express themselves, showing a real basis of such thinking & reasoning.

More tours of those speakers, that were near “de-platformed”, even Brash, Stefan Molyneux, Lauren Southern, Jordan Peterson, Douglas Murray, and of course Dr. Steve Turley 🙂
I am sure there is many more, that would be interesting, and make one think more of the values in Western Civilization.

It is important to know oneself, our selves..
      Also to know one’s enemies.
To make a good well rounded citizen. 🙂
