    • It isn’t just Nats turning magazines around. It is people sick of how disaster hungry our Prime Minister and her Media Party are. Sick of how she is the epitome of a politician kissing babies. Sick of her fakeness. Hell, sick of Ardern.

You don’t need to vote National to be sick of Ardern.

      • Yes i think people are getting sick of her frowny face, her hugs, and her hugging babies and visits to every primary school in NZ.
If the magazines and tv keep doing it, it may work against her i the election.
So hope they keep it up.

Woke Politicians cuddle everyone in sight now…(Until they get the right photo that is- A first responder from White Island tells that Ardern turned around and stomped off as soon as she got the thumbs up from the Photographer)

      • Talking to a friend this morning. She has just returned from a trip to Tasmania for Christmas. While there she was having dinner with a tour group of European visitors.
Everyone of them said we are very lucky to have such a good sympathetic person as our PM. They could not believe her when she told them the truth.
Cindy really has got the UN job in the bag. The quicker she fucks off and takes it the better we will be.

          • Europe is dogtucker.

If people are seriously concerned about suicide they might look at the actual suicide of ‘European people’.
The people who once conquered ‘the world’ are themselves being conquered and are not even chucking some spears back in resistance.
            They are DONE.
Like a Christmas ham; cut away piece by piece until it is all gone.

Douglas Murray’s book 2 years ago is an excellent academic analysis
            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Strange_Death_of_Europe

            Overview:-
‘The Strange Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam’ is a 2017 book by the British journalist and political commentator Douglas Murray. It was published in the United Kingdom in May 2017, and in June 2017 in the United States.
The book’s title was inspired by George Dangerfield’s classic of political history The Strange Death of Liberal England, published in 1935.

            Thesis
Murray explores two factors that explain why, in his view, European civilization as we have known it will not survive. The first is the combination of mass migration of new peoples into the continent together with Europe’s negative birth rates. The second is what Murray describes as “the fact that… at the same time Europe lost faith in its beliefs, traditions, and legitimacy”

If your wallet is a moth farm and you don’t want to fork over for this great work there is a free version online
            https://www.academia.edu/36864463/The_strange_death_of_europe_immigration_-_douglas_murray

The opening two paragraphs are relevant and read as:-
…Europe is committing suicide. Or at least its leaders have decided to commit suicide. Whether the European people choose to go along with this is, naturally, another matter.

When I say that Europe is in the process of killing itself I do not mean that the burden of European Commission regulation has become overbearing or that the European Convention on Human Rights has not done enough to satisfy the demands of a particular community. I mean that the civilisation we know as Europe is in the process of committing suicide and that neither Britain nor any other Western European country can avoid that fate because we all appear to suffer from the same symptoms and maladies. As a result, by the end of the lifespans of most people currently alive Europe will not be Europe and the peoples of Europe will have lost the only place in the world we had to call home….

            ——
By the way, if you look at the Moori_fication of Aote….New Zealand you will see a similar subjugation.
The handing over of money to people who do not deserve it and are triple dipping anyway; plus the surrendering of rights..all pushed by Marxist academics and aided by media filth.

  3. This is an intention of building up “fuel load” so that politicians, scientists and many others ignore other concerns and can put and keep their noses in the troughs.

Read it and weep, how the “Deep State” of Scientists of academia, built up the Dead Wood alongside with politicians, bureaucracy, media in many Shires, Councils and so the fuel load in Canberra must be metres high.

    7. Removal of dead old trees (either standing or on the ground) results in the loss of important habitat such as hollows and decaying wood (Gibbons & Lindenmayer 2002) for a wide variety of vertebrates, invertebrates and microbial species and may adversely affect the following threatened species:

    11. In view of the above the Scientific Committee is of the opinion that Removal of dead wood and dead trees adversely affects two or more threatened species, populations or ecological communities or could cause species or populations that are not threatened to become threatened.

These fires are caused in the name of “dud” science! and really everything about being summer time, a bit dry this year, is not the real deep down reason.
So Scientists now double down about Climate Change “record temperatures” and the rest of that “Deep State” in Councils, Shires, States & government support this cover story.

Burn backs, Clearing, Grazing, Fire Wood Collecting etc…. had been stopped for many years in the name of ……….

    • Just read the gobbley gook created by the “Deep State” bureaucracy all in the name of control & taxes.

In some parks the removal of woody debris may be a fire management practice, helping to reduce fire risk.
      Policy
      1. Collecting firewood in parks for use off-park is prohibited.
      2. Collecting timber for firewood is allowed in backcountry (more remote) areas, in any park category, except where it is:
~prohibited by a park plan of management
~prohibited by a sign or notice
      ~for commercial gain
~for use outside the park boundary.

      https://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/topics/parks-reserves-and-protected-areas/park-policies/firewood
The new cult of sustainability, burnt, but looking to burn up the people as well.
Sadly many of the people seem to be self igniting as they “double down” to the cult of climate change, as it seeks to control and tax.

I don’t recall the Christian churches in our area doing that after the Easter Bombings in Sri Lanka or does this only apply to the puerile minds of the Middle East?

  5. Now, in our continuing series of Nothing to Do With Islam incidents, “a probe had been launched to determine the motivation of the attack.”

Let me see, “Police in France have shot and wounded a knifeman who rushed at a group of officers shouting ‘Allahu akbar’ ”
Yes, I am having trouble thinking of any possible reason for this, oh well, better just put it down to “mental illness.” I hope the police will receive the further firearms training they obviously need.

  6. So it turns out the Cricket Test that the Lefies have all been sneering ‘Should have been cancelled’ has raised over a million dollars already for Breast Cancer.
    From Facebook-
    “It’s only bloody cricket”
“Rich white boys play cricket while the World burns”
“That game should have been called off and the players forced to fight fires”

So one can naturally assume that the miserable, Looney Left don’t support raising funds for Cancer?

  7. ‘No body, no parole’ if Private Members’ Bill succeeds
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/no-body-parole-if-private-members-bill-succeeds

“It will be a case of “no body, no parole” for convicted murderers if a National MP’s Private Members’ Bill succeeds.”

“If there is a very clear sense that the offender was guilty, was rightfully convicted, but is still refusing to identify the location of the victim’s remains, then my Bill would give the Parole Board a strong steer that they shouldn’t give the offender parole.”

The Bill is yet to be pulled from the ballot box.

    • Lots of ifs, buts and maybes in there WK but I agree with the sentiment.

“It will be a case of “no body, no parole”..it should be this clearcut from the get go.

‘give the Parole Board a strong steer’…may as well piss into the wind, how often does the PB listen to anyone?

‘was rightfully convicted’..lawyers would have a field day picking holes.

        • wg. Interesting point about the kangaroos, as they were the original graziers. Marketing ideas? and then to harvest them?

I know graziers farmers, do not like them, as they seem to compete for the same crops & grass particularly during droughts.

Then to consider to leave the dingoes to run around too.
          https://theconversation.com/why-do-some-graziers-want-to-retain-not-kill-dingoes-77457
Feral goats can also be seen as troublesome in some areas, and seem to prefer arid and semi arid conditions may further erosion.

          It is changing though.
Many pastoralists in Australia now consider the capture and sale of feral goats to be an essential part of their business.
          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feral_goats_in_Australia

Can harvesting, goats, kangaroos, and harvesting forestry timber and firewood. It all seems to be surrounded by so much bureaucratic rules, laws & regulations, as the global “Deep State” figures it knows best in its tax & control.

Now I do not trust what scientists and the “Deep State” of the bureaucracy & politicians come up with.
Basically to consider, moderation in all things. 🙂

  9. Dominic Cummings led the Brexit campaign and is Boris Johnson’s top advisor at No 10.

    Dominic writes:
“We want to improve performance and make me much less important — and within a year largely redundant. At the moment I have to make decisions well outside what Charlie Munger calls my ‘circle of competence’ and we do not have the sort of expertise supporting the PM and ministers that is needed. This must change fast so we can properly serve the public.

I don’t want confident public school bluffers. I want people who are much brighter than me who can work in an extreme environment. If you play office politics, you will be discovered and immediately binned.

I noticed in the recent campaign that the world of digital advertising has changed very fast since I was last involved in 2016. This is partly why so many journalists wrongly looked at things like Corbyn’s Facebook stats and thought Labour was doing better than us — the ecosystem evolves rapidly while political journalists are still behind the 2016 tech, hence why so many fell for Carole’s conspiracy theories. The digital people involved in the last campaign really knew what they are doing, which is incredibly rare in this world of charlatans and clients who don’t know what they should be buying.

People in SW1 talk a lot about ‘diversity’ but they rarely mean ‘true cognitive diversity’. They are usually babbling about ‘gender identity diversity blah blah’. What SW1 needs is not more drivel about ‘identity’ and ‘diversity’ from Oxbridge humanities graduates but more genuine cognitive diversity.

We need some true wild cards, artists, people who never went to university and fought their way out of an appalling hell hole, weirdos from William Gibson novels like that girl hired by Bigend as a brand ‘diviner’ who feels sick at the sight of Tommy Hilfiger or that Chinese-Cuban free runner from a crime family hired by the KGB. If you want to figure out what characters around Putin might do, or how international criminal gangs might exploit holes in our border security, you don’t want more Oxbridge English graduates who chat about Lacan at dinner parties with TV producers and spread fake news about fake news.

By definition I don’t really know what I’m looking for but I want people around No10 to be on the lookout for such people.

We need to figure out how to use such people better without asking them to conform to the horrors of ‘Human Resources’ (which also obviously need a bonfire).

    Data scientists and software developers
    Economists
    Policy experts
    Project managers
    Communication experts
Junior researchers one of whom will also be my personal assistant
Weirdos and misfits with odd skills
    ~

Dominic is looking to employ mavericks thinkers to envisage new ways of operating from the way Parliament in Britain has traditionally run the country. You know the old adage, if you continue to do what you have always done you will continue to get what your have always got.

Word on the street is that Phil Twyford is updating his CV in anticipation of applying as a project manager.

How can one argue against that.? Seriously 🙁

That is what they trade on!
See the consequences are so great, as the Utopia will fill with “well being” and “kindness”.
It is not recognized as full on socialism, but for “well being” in receiving and “kindness” in making the tax payments.

Does it matter that others have to pay much more money for electricity, that is if they can afford to remain plugged in, like in Germany, South Australia or have enough heating fuel to stay warm through a cold winter.

Even if there are subsidies, one can be sure they believe they will be sanctimoniously clipping the ticket, in many ways.. Well that is until, ….. the money runs out like the above wg comment on Venezuela,

In the mean time the working taxpaying worker & entrepreneur will stop laying those “golden eggs” that are taxed, as they will feel as it is being ripped out from the very bowels of the “golden goose”.

  11. I enjoy DriveTribe. The guys from Top Gear are on there, having a bit of irreverent fun and it’s good to see all the latest and greatest from the automotive world. Then, last night, I read this piece.

    Some excerpts:

Basically, as a species we’ve been throwing a massive, all-night 18th birthday party while our parents were on holiday. We’ve had drink, drugs, prostitutes and fights, but now our parents are due home at any time and we need to assess the damage. We need to try and fix the mess we’ve made before mum and dad see it, go ballistic and literally ‘kill us’. The climate crisis IS that bad, and it IS that urgent.

Motoring journalists, and again, any reference to a journalist is purely coincidental – are now buying into climate change. Holy biscuits.

    • After a major operation, where I received blood, and realized that the blood transfusions only have a bare minimum of red blood cells, as they are prioritized for other more needy patients.
Meat was an essential to carry back iron, and to assist iron to be carried through from leafy green veges..
The veges are not even near enough, nor can one eat enough of them.

Iron tablets, can have severe side effects to put it politely on the digestive tract, and are a strain, when already at a low ebb.
Good nutrition is needed to recover for bones and tissues to mend after surgery and the advice was to eat like a horse, even when one did not always feel like it.

The sooner one is a bit better, then the sooner you are out of hospital, saving hundreds if not thousands of dollars per day.

How do they work out this stupid “scientific” idea of vegetarianism/veganism “kindness” to the planet, against the price of slowing a patients recovery and for the patients “well being”. 🙂

    • Stop adding taxes, make it cheaper for the poor to exist by reducing tax. Increasing or making up new taxes does not make it easier to live.

I wonder if he realises that in 2016 tax looked like this:

      * 40% of New Zealand households receive more in benefits than they pay in taxes.
      * 3% of tax payers pay a quarter of all taxes in this country.

Of course, GST and similar taxes like Jacinda Ardern’s very regressive regional fuel tax, etc. fuck the poor even more. But since when has a socialist cared about the lower income earners in our society? They don’t pose for photos and are only useful in an election year when Jacinda Ardern needs somebody to cry over.

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/winston-peters-calls-escalation-tensions-rise-between-us-and-iran

Winston Peters is calling for restraint and de-escalation as tensions rise between the US and Iran after Iranian major general Qassem Soleimani was killed in a targeted airstrike.

“When it comes to Iraq, it’s time to go,” Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said.
The Taji deployment reduced to a maximum of 75 from July, 2019 and would drop further to 45 in January 2020.

  17. Trump says Iranian leader Soleimani behind terror plots in India, MEA stays silent

“Soleimani made the death of innocent people his sick passion, contributing to terrorist plots as far away as New Delhi and London. Today we remember and honour the victims of Soleimani”s many atrocities and we take comfort in knowing that his reign of terror is over,” Trump said.

    • “The New Zealand Defence Force says reports that it is preparing a C130 Hercules to evacuate 45 defence force personnel from Camp Taji are untrue.

A defence force spokesperson said it was not actively preparing to evacuate its personnel in the region.

They say any decision to evacuate personnel will be made by the government.”

So are our troops being evacuated or not? Does Socialist Cindy not want to admit NZ troops will be evacuated by the nasty “orange man”? 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

      • If I was a service person in need of urgent evacuation from Camp Taji, I would be worried if our geriatric Herc was my only exit option. When you have an angry mob of Iranians on your tail feathers calling you Alan Snackbar, you don’t want to be crossing your fingers and hoping your transport doesn’t cough, cough, splutter.

    • Yes there are at least 7 million muslims in the USA, I image quite a few of them are form iran.
I heard that they are checking them going through the Canadian border today.

That’s why I don’ like muslims coming here.
One day they will cause trouble and expense.

Who Should Be on Trial March 15, 2020?
    Posted on 05-01-2020 by Guest
An opinion piece by Ben Hope

The Christchurch mosque shootings were two consecutive terrorist attacks at mosques in the city of Christchurch, New Zealand, during Friday Prayer on 15 March 2019.The attacks began at the Al Noor Mosque in the suburb of Riccarton at 1:40 p.m. and continued at Linwood Islamic Centre at about 1:55 p.m.The gunman live-streamed the first attack on Facebook. The attacks killed 51 people[and injured 49. Brenton Tarrant, a 28-year-old man from Grafton, New South Wales, Australia, described in media reports as a white supremacist and part of the alt-right, was arrested and initially charged with one murder. Tarrant was later charged with 51 murders, 40 attempted murders, and engaging in a terrorist act. He pleaded not guilty to all charges, with the trial expected to start on 2 June 2020.
Tarrant is alleged to be guilty.
    Were any others involved?
Well, yes – there were – the New Zealand Police.
To examine the police involvement, the question arises how did an Australian Brenton Tarrant come to get a firearms licence?
Former MP Richard Prosser had this to say in an opinion piece published December 2019 on Elocal magazine site.
    https://www.elocal.co.nz/Articles/by/Richard-Prosser
Richard Prosser is a former NZ First politician, who served as a Member of Parliament from 2011 to 2017 but was inexplicably demoted on the party’s list from number 3 to number 15. It was NZ First’s loss and the treatment he received may be one the party will regret come the 2020 election.
Richard Prosser wrote “It was the Police who issued Brenton Tarrant with his firearms licence, who never enquired as it his criminal history in Australia, who only interviewed him online and not in person; and who allowed his two character referees to be a father and son, whom Tarrant himself only knew from an internet chat room.”
“And it was Police who allegedly failed to act in information from one of Tarrant’s former fellow Dunedin Gun Club members, himself ex-New Zealand Army, that Tarrant was a head-case and a ticking time bomb.”
Opinion online is giving the public more and more an insight into the police incompetence that allowed Tarrant to get a New Zealand firearm licence.”
Richard Prosser’s claim was backed up elsewhere. On the website “TrueblueNZ” a writer “Redbaiter” said “Licenced gun owners at the club Tarrant joined were alarmed by his ideas and actions and reported them to the New Zealand Police. Who did nothing.”
The sad aspect is the New Zealand media, from newspapers to radio to television, were guilty of failure to pick up on the incompetence by the Police to identify Tarrant’s lack of suitability to hold a New Zealand firearm licence. Indeed the illiterate media did not pick up March 15 is Shakespeare’s “The Ides of March”. Was it coincidence or did Tarrant deliberately select the date knowing the significance?

    • Alice. If you were fortunate enough to see and hear the stuff being reported before the media shutdown, this all fits.
I still get people asking me what happened to the other two people who were arrested. I don’t know.
Many people overseas have kept the actual footage and news reports.
They say it looks to be very well planned… too well planned.

    • The NZ cops never take responsibility for their actions.
      NEVER. Never. Never.

They have blood on their hands in this case with Brenton Tarrant.
      Say his name.
      Tarrant.
      Australian citizen.
      Foreign National.
No ties in NZ but allowed a gun licence.
Now the NZ citizens have to pay the price.
What a pack of corrupt arseholes.

No-one in the crooked cops had to take responsibility for the crime of planting a cartridge case in order to convict A.A. Thomas in the Crewe double murder.
They use completely dodgy jailhouse snitches who are soon enough found out. No rework of the cop lies.
The story they made up for the first trial for Lundy- if an 8 year old kid made up something so preposterous they would be sent to their room for lying- the Cindy disease!

The history of NZ police is they are NOT here to protect NZ citizens.
The Brenton Tarrant case is yet another example.

After the White Island cop fiasco it is out in the open how incompetent they are and this can be extrapolated back to their behaviour at Pike river which is why they are so controlling of it.

      Beware Stasi at the door.
      Not your friend.

  19. I see the BBC says there are huge crowds at Soleimans funeral
Its almost like the bastards are glorifying him.
F the BBC and all the other western media.

The Iranians are very clever he has three or 4 funeral parades for maximum exposure.

Turncoat was the best leader the Australian Labor party never had!

  20. Ed are you going to or have you set up a facebook page for ysb? I was just sent a very strongly worded clip of an Aussie bloke pissed off with the Greens, it would be so easy to forward that stuff to a dedicated facebook page that you could then access?

Haven’t had a reply as to why, so I guess they don’t like us taking the piss out of their favourite PTPM.

          • …When Sun Tzu wrote (paraphrasing) “know yourself, know your enemy, and you shall win a hundred battles without loss,” he preambled it by putting that it was widely said that… etc etc.

In other words, Sun Tzu didn’t invent, by any means, that proverb. It was in wide, popular use in military circles of the day. (Largely thanks to Sun Tzu himself, it is still widely quoted today.)..

Facebook is not your friend. Regard as a foe and you will not be disappointed.

          • Shouldn’t have to be subversive about it, it is not as if they can’t censor the content if it triggers them.
Mind you as log as it is bi partisan, but me thinks not?
