  1. The borders with islam always seem to be bloody.

The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) confirmed Sunday that a U.S. service member and two Defense Department contractors were killed when al-Shabaab militants stormed a military base used by Kenyan and U.S. forces in Lamu county near Kenya’s border with Somalia.
    http://muslimnews.co.uk/news/campaign-on-terror/kenya-al-shabaab-kills-3-americans-attack-kenya-base/
So what could be the cause of this? 🙁

On the same day, Kenyan police arrested three men who tried to force their way into a British Army training camp in Laikipia county.
    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/africa/kenya-al-shabaab-attack-deaths-americans-killed-manda-bay-airfield-a9272556.html

Relentless pushing, probing as guided by koran & handith, in the area by al-Shabaab, an al-Qaeda group.
    First Americans forces killed.

  2. Pushing ahead, taking a lead from Trump.

Tommy Fisher, owner of Fisher Sand & Gravel, a North Dakota-based construction firm, had been waiting for the chance to prove he can build President Trump’s signature border wall faster and better than the government. …
….. second federal ruling in two days in favor of border barriers. On Wednesday, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals lifted a lower court’s stay that had prevented the Trump administration from diverting $3.6 billion from military construction projects to fund 175 miles of border wall. …

Seems like the privately built wall will be quite effective, being in the right place. 🙂

  3. Should tyres be disposed of for free? What do we do with them? They seem to be a big problem.

    • Earlier this week, Takashi Kitajima, the general manager of the Athletes Village, announced athletes will be sleeping on bed frames made of cardboard and mattresses made of plastic to reduce the event’s carbon footprint.

Because the bed frames are the most expensive part of the Olympics in terms of carbon footprint.

“We’ve conducted experiments, like dropping weights on top of the beds,” a spokesperson told Agence France-Presse.

Because that’s how people have sex. Obviously. Cape on, flying leap from the foot of the bed, am I right?

    • Uptick for reading their policies. It’s been part of ACTs policies since … uhm … forever? See here, as the first couple of sentences.

ACT believes in equality before the law regardless of race, sexuality or religion. Particular groups of New Zealanders should not have special rights under the law.

      10

      0

          • No, ACTs policy is anybody who wants to be a Kiwi can come here and be one irrespective of religion.

Being a Muslim doesn’t necessarily make you a bad person or one out to destroy Western society. Radical, extremists. Yeah, shitheads that deserve to die. The guy down at the corner dairy here to make a life for him and his family away from the radical extremists? Who wants to take his son for driving lessons on a Saturday afternoon and says hi to you in Pak n Save? Not so much.

I think he will have some challenges though in determining the differences between the two. How do you tell? Maybe it is easier to simply say: “All Muslims, Jews, Hindus and Christians are bad and not allowed into New Zealand”

He wants people who will sign up to a compact agreeing to abide by New Zealand standards and lifestyle. But what is that? It’s not defined and that’s something that I’d like to see some more work being done on.

            • What a load of rubbish Parscal.
You can’t tell good people at the border or from immigration papers.
And you can’t force people to abide by NZ laws and customs, just beacsue they promise to.
Once a mulsim, always a muslim.
They don’t want to integrate and I don’t want them to integrate.

              7

              3

              • Of course you can’t. That was the point I made, Dig. Read it again. And then again, please. But I am not going to judge everybody the same. You have an anti Muslim, anti Immigrant attitude that would see South Africans, for example, excluded from New Zealand.

People who want to live here as New Zealanders are welcome. People who don’t are not.

There are Muslims who have integrated. I went on a ride with one today.

      • I ma not sure what to make of ACT.
Their share of the vote has been going down in each of the last few elections.
Yet people like their leader, and they voted fro him on Dancing with the stars.
But they only get 1.6 on the latest CB poll.
May be its his one man band school boy look.
And his obsession with one topic that divides everyone – youth in asia
        I don’ know.

        4

        5

        • Spend some time to get to know him. One man band school boy? Who cooks his meat over an open fire and spent his Christmas holiday taking the engine out of his Caterham and rebuilding it. He is an honest, open man who’s one core principle is that you, me and every Kiwi should have the freedom to choose for ourselves.

          • I’m not denying he is a good guy, so is Simon Bridges, so is Leighton Baker.
But its votes and traction that count.
I just don’t see ACT out there doing anything.
Getting the 40 contributing members of YSB to vote ACT is not going to cut it.
lets wait for the next CB poll..

            7

            1

            • The only poll that counts is the one on voting day. But I fear apathy will win the day. Why New Zealand should suffer so badly from apathy I can’t quite figure out, we have so much to be passionate and interested about in this great country and yet we cannot agree not to let the wreckers have it.

              • The left seem to focus mostly on just one goal, and when mostly achieved, that is for electoral purposes, like the 100,000 houses, then focus again on just one goal again.

The right seem to have many goals, and they may be at different levels, like how even the gun lobby is divided, though they may be coming together more so now,

So in o way the right are divided, which the left then seem to be able pick off, not in total refutation, but redirection, deflect, squirrels,
The left are quite happy to lie also. to create fear, in pushing and pulling people to appease.
Then they consolidate and then repeat.

  4. Progressive Eco-Group Admits It: Renewable Energy is a Hoax that Benefits its Greenie Elmer Gantries like Al Gore

Few insiders have profited more from taxpayer-backed renewable energy projects than Al Gore. When he left the vice presidency in 2001, his net worth was estimated at $1 million to $2 million. Since then, his wealth has skyrocketed to $300 million, and if the climate change legislation he advocates is enacted, the former vice president stands to become a billionaire.

  5. ‘Sacked for what?’ – Hundreds of protesters across the country call for PM’s demise
    https://www.skynews.com.au/details/_6121343004001

Scott Morrison is once again being used by “obsessed global warming activists” around the world as the “chief punching bag”, says Sky News host Chris Smith as Australia-wide protests call for the prime minister’s sacking.
“What are we sacking him for?” asked Smith.

Smith said the consistent “bashing” of the prime minister is “bereft of science and manners” and could become “fact in the eyes of the ill-informed”.

  6. When will Jacinda Ardern, Carmel Supuloni and the Coalition wake to the old saying the more you give the they want, it happens to every Government that promises what they can’t afford especially a socialist Government because they seem to repeat the same Promises every Election.
Poverty advocates’ message to Jacinda Ardern: Beneficiaries need money not Budgeting help.
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/01/poverty-advocates-message-to-jacinda-ardern-beneficiaries-need-money-not-budgeting-help.html
It seems with over 258,000 children in poverty that Carmel Supuloni and Jacinda with the Coalition method of just chucking money at this problem will never work when you can’t produce figure’s confirming those that have been lifted out of Poverty
With your Bill that makes it necessary for all Governments to be transparent on this problem so everyone may see what progress is being made. So could we have some Transparency from the present Government as it seems the Prime Minister is content in hiding the facts.

  7. I’m neither a monarchist nor a Republican. I have heard the arguments on both sides and frankly, it’s not of vital importance to me either way.

That having been said, I find myself feeling empathy for the Sussexes’ situation. Here’s a young couple who are living in a surreal paparazzi infested bubble and life for them must be like being in a mad house most of the time.

Harry has had it all his life of course, but after marrying Meghan he has probably been wondering how to escape from the asylum, whereas Meghan’s hormones (young child etc) are probably at bursting point and she’s wondering what the hell she’s got herself into. After all, these people aren’t completely stupid; he was a military helicopter pilot and she was an actress (yeah I know – but still).

Think about it. Almost any educated young Western couple can say “hey let’s go and live in Canada where we’ve got friends!” or “let’s start a business together. I’m sick of working for the boss” etc etc etc. But not these two. Sure, they haven’t (yet) got any money problems….. but their lives must be hell in so many other ways.

I hope they can work it out. I wish them well.

    • I don’t care one way or the other, but it seems to me they want a bob each way.

“Lets go it alone, fuck the royal Family. They are holding us back”

But we still want to suck off the tit of the British taxpayer and daddy’s and grandmas largess.
If they were deadly serious in their desires for independence, then cut ALL ties, renounce your titles and become Mr and Mrs Winsor.

      13

      • They need to spend quality time with Uncle Andrew, you know, reconnect with the special side of the monarchy.

        6

        3

      • Seems Sparkles has realised she didn’t have the leading part in the biggest soap opera of the world and never would have. She will never ever to be queen, never be the most inluential, never be recognised for her true worth. Alas, Sparkes is a lesser royal, a mere duchess who can never outshine her sister-in-law the future Queen Katherine.

This does have overtones of Wallace Simpson and the abdication of Edward VIII. Good luck to the Sussex’s in their future endeavours. Afterall if separating from the royal household doesn’t work out they still have their very own palace grandma gave them to return to and a family who will always support their grandson/son his wife and their son.

        7

        1

        • Exactly.
The cleaning of house was always on the cards.
The Queen and Charlie are going to rid the family of hanger ons.
Something the taxpayers of the UK have been demanding for eons.
Wills and Kate will make excellent royals. Not too woke and not too self obsessed.
          They listen to the people.
King George is in good hands.

          11

          0

          • I don’t think these two are ‘hangers on’ at all. After all, it seems to have been their decision to step back.

            3

            4

            • Obviously when you are the brother of a future king the term “hangers on” is relative. Harry is a very important member of the royal family and always will be. My comment was tongue in cheek about Meghan’s expectations for her position within that family and realising she is not the most important member and never will be. The British royal dynasty is 800 years old and has seen off a few disgruntled members of court in its time.

              6

              0

      • It wont be Windsor.
        Sparkles is the Boss.
At best it will be Harry Markle but she may reject that as a slave name and become Meghan X.
So Harry will become Harry X. 🙂

Remember Windsor is a made up name.
        Q. Victoria was half Kraut and Albert was full Kraut so Vicky’s kids were 3/4 German

“The name was changed from Saxe-Coburg and Gotha to the English Windsor (from Windsor Castle) in 1917 because of anti-German sentiment in the British Empire during World War I. ”
The Mountbatten arm was also a translation from the German Battenberg.

Perhaps Harry could make it simple by picking his real dad’s name – Hewitt 🙂

        9

        0

    • Agreed and Harry is very aware of the hounding of his mother by the media and will protect his wife and son. Charles might not have been able to for what ever reason but I don’t think Harry putting his wife and child first makes him a soyboy.

    • Sparkles is a narcissistic bitch.
She is a user of people.

She used her father to get a debt free education (not so common in the USA) then dumped him.
She married twice before by 35 yo.
The second husband was stepping stone then dumped.
She was having an affair in Canada.
The rapidly balding Ginger (No 3) is a stepping stone.

He is pretty dozy and she is the Boss.
He may not even be of ‘royal blood’ given Diana’s ‘man friendly’ activities.
I guess Will Carling is not Hazza’s daddy or Harry might be bedda at rugby!!
The sad thing is they cannot admit it after all this time.
      Bugger!

The narcissist will not be married to dozy Harry in 10 years.
She announced her pregnancy at some one else’s big wedding.
She throws shade and is accomplished at it.
      She will be bedda off.
He will be a shell of a man.
You clearly don’t understand American women, Dave.

She is an actress making a play.
She has now had huge publicity and will go down the Kartrashian path of making money for doing nothing but promoting things.
That is US royalty in her world.
They will earn Clinton like money for appearances and ‘speeches’.
She will play the race card when it suits.

      • I received the following earlier from a friend of mine who is a geologist of long experience. Geologists, as you know, tend to look at things on a rather longer time scale than the rest of us especially the media:

Why is it that the vast majority are unable to understand that whether the climate is warming or cooling depends largely on the time scale considered. On a daily basis it depends on day or night. On an annual basis it depends on winter or summer. On the basis of the last decade nothing is changing. On the basis of the last fifty years it is warming. On the basis of the last ninety years it is cooling. On the basis of the last two or three hundred years it is warming. On the basis of the last one thousand years it is cooling. On the basis of the last seven thousand years it is cooling. Between seven thousand years ago and one thousand years ago the were several warming and cooling events but the overall trend is cooling from seven thousand years ago. Prior to that it was warming from the last glacial period when the British Isles were covered with ice hundreds or thousands of metres thick. None of these changes are due to carbon dioxide, SUVs, mankind; they are due to changes in radiation of the sun, and variations of the orbit of the earth with a bit of influence from the solar system and even the cosmos around it.

        • Implement some simple rules maybe.

If you don’t respond appropriately to a hand up, you don’t get a hand out.
Problem is, It’s called Work AND Income not Work FOR Income.
          Therein lies the beast.
          Simple starter rules:
All seasonal work will be performed by NZ citizens of any age. If you don’t turn up the consequence is zero income.
To be a parent you must have $20k in the bank as an endowment or, towards the child’s welfare until they are 18, or leave home. Parental studies are mandatory. (This includes men who think they can have babies.)
Education will include relevant studies that have proven to advance the human race and a curriculum 100% based on facts not bullshit.
Children will receive optimum health care and nutrition.
Adults will receive optimum health care and nutrition.
All politicians can be replaced if the majority of the people deem them incompetent.
To be a politician you must have been a seasonal worker for at least 5 consecutive years in your life.

I wonder if China is moving to protect itself from the stinking rot that has infected Western ‘education’, where primary children are taught that there is no such thing as biological gender, that boys fucking each other up the anus is wonderful, that all plastic is evil, it’s good to encourage Islam to destroy one’s own culture and humanity only has only twelve years before we all succumb to self inflicted climate death?

  12. French Department Reveals 80 Percent of Minor Migrants Are Really Adults

Last year, a migrant attempted to claim to police in the commune of Angoulême in south-west France that he was 16 years old until officers conducted a background check that showed the man, who claimed to be from Mali, was actually 47 after his fingerprints were connected to a passport he had used to enter Spain.

They knew he was lying but without his passport he had disposed of the immigration agents had no option but to hand him over to childrens’ social services to investigate. Immigtration really are taken for a ride over there with most illegals released while being assessed never to be seen again.

        • True story from a friend in England. She lives in a nice suburb in a well-to-do area. A neighbouring couple, friends of hers rented out their house. Turned out the tenant had a history of not paying her rent so after a few months the landlords got in touch with the tenants previous landlord. They communicated via text/email comparing the problems with the tenant. Next thing the landlords were raided by the police, had their house searched, their phones and computers confiscated, they were read their rights and charged with breaching the data protection act. They were handcuffed and driven approx 40kms to the police base in a larger town. Three hours later they were released onto the street without their phones, no money or resources and didn’t know anyone. Luckily they were able to use a phone at a local hotel to phone his brother who drove down and collected them. The tenant has since moved on to her next target. The landlords still have not had their phones and computers returned by the police.

    • Childish ideas like that maybe funny
But its never going to happen.
We need real practical ways of getting rid of her.

Peronsally I think she is doing it herself, many people are seeing through her with her hugs and bouncing head and waving hands and waffle. They are seeing that she really is not a leader.

Look how popular #TurnArdern has become!

Lets watch her prefrerred PM ratings and hope they go down.

The media filth are definitely your enemy.
OK, they are really ignorant pricks but dangerous ignorant pricks that spout forth their dogma -devoid of research or logic.
Mindless zombies that want to live off and devour middle class values. The mass between their ears died off yonks ago.

Treat media filth as you would a tarantula.
What is it in their nature to do?

And from the ashes, comes….. ‘YSB Herald’….packed with insightful, original, honest, objective and fair criticisms of our country and our significantly reduced, yet highly effective peoples government.

  14. Revealed: London council to pay tens of millions to child abuse scandal victims

Shirley Oaks was built in 1904 by the Bermondsey Board of Guardians and housed 400 youngsters at any one time. Children were looked after in cottages by house mothers and fathers.

Today their report into child abuse in the council’s care homes was released. It includes harrowing testimony from 40 people who suffered physical and sexual abuse at the hands of staff and visitors to the 80-acre Shirley Oaks site in Croydon.SOSA chairman Raymond Stevenson, who was physically abused there, said the home became a “hedonistic paradise” for paedophiles. He added: “Lambeth have made some groundbreaking moves. They put together a redress scheme to compensate people who have been abused.”

    • In addition, I searched the net to see if Saville visited Shirley Oaks.
What went on there was pure evil.

Unbelievable torture and abuse by people in power.
The police were complicit and tried everything to cover up their filthy obsession.
These people put in charge of the investigation were the offenders….(They all seem to do it…like the sex scandal here)
The list of deaths is harrowing, haunting.
      Extremely sad.

      Dodgy bureaucrats and rotten clergy.
The predators hone in on these places.
In NZ in the 1960s it was the mental hospitals and orphanages.
The predator filth hone in on these and e.g. predators would get jobs as orderlies and esp night shift.

These predators are only good for a spade to the side of the head, including the clergy.

      • We found out a few years ago that hubby’s uncle, born around the beginning of the 20th century, was put in Lake Alice. He was thought to be in need of mental care. Turns out he was born deaf and probably was completely mentally normal, just frustrated with life and how he was being treated due to their ignorance at the time. His death certificate noted he died at 45 years old of rectal cancer. Makes you wonder what the poor blighter suffered through while under ‘care’.

  15. One thing that is heartening to me is that many kiwis do not buy into the Climate Cjhange emergency bullshit
You see so many comments on Trademe etc saying its all bullshit and giving the facts etc etc.
So, as I said a few months ago.
The Climate Change emergency crescendo will eventually burn itself out and they will all look stupid.
    Stuff etc
But we need to keep up the pressure.
Bombard them with the real facts.
There are so many articles and websites on the Climate Change denier side.

  16. Ed, as requested – some photos of the bike and the ride out to Manukau Heads. It was going to be three of us having a leisurely cruise out there, but we ended up as a pack of 12 on a lovely ride and lunch in Waiuku. About 200 kms all up, not a long ride but a good one.

  17. I see that Iran has fessed up, all the Donalds fault of course.

It was an act of aggression aimed at the USA, just because they hit a mistaken target does not change their intent. What would have happened if it had been a US Military Aircraft? Should it happen anyway?

    • Yes they blamed Trump for making them lose control of their camels that the missiles were mounted on.
One got the shits and took off for a dump. It then lost control of it’s trajectory and shot down the plane

    • The filthy rag heads. I wish upon wish that Trumpy nuke the entire place as a final warning to the other agitating cnuts out there. N Korea as well. Fuck ’em all off, the west has had a gutsful of ’em. Fall into line raggys or suffer the consequences.

      9

      1

    • Iran had been lobbing rocks over the fence at US military bases to see if Trump would fire back.
They didn’t hit a barn door – but I bet that wasn’t because they couldn’t.
Essentially the Iranians were conducting a dick-measuring exercise.
Nonetheless they were expecting fire to be returned and had set air defence to counter that.
Who knew the airborne metal that entered Iranian airspace was a passenger plane, not a US retaliatory missile? It should have been easy enough to identify, but the air defence that shot the plane down may not even have been manned.
The Big Question is who let that Ukrainian plane depart when all others had been grounded?

  19. ACT leader David Seymour calls police raid on right-wing gun owner ‘deeply disturbing’
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/01/act-leader-david-seymour-calls-police-raid-on-right-wing-gun-owner-deeply-disturbing.html

Seymour says is “deeply disturbing” and raises serious questions about how gun owners are being targeted.

“How did Police come to identify this person? Were his political views a factor? Was he identified by the fact that he made a submission on the new gun laws?” he asks in a statement on Saturday.

“If Police are politically targeting New Zealanders because they submitted to a select committee, the Police Minister’s position is untenable.”

“Whatever happened to the Government’s goal of getting rid of semi-automatics? Police carried out this raid to search for a ‘bunny gun’ used to hunt rabbits. Why aren’t Police going after the gangs and criminals?”

Did David Seymour call Dieuwe de Boer “right-wing” or is that the MSM putting word in his mouth?

    9

    • This police action is unbelievable.
The coverage on BFD explains he is a conservative and christian.
Does that equate to right wing?
What is this country coming to.?
There could be a lot of mileage in this for the Newcons in Nash s’ electorate if they are awake .

      6

    • I don’t recall seeing anything relating to labelling him as “right-wing” from the ACT comms on this. Media. Filthy, lying media.

      5

      • I’ve done a bit of research and I think I am conflating the two articles here.

RNZ labelled him as far-right, e.g. a neo-nazi / etc. That he is not and I think that is an unwarranted smear on him.

Newshub, not David Seymour, labelled him as right-wing. That he is, by his own admission and statements. E.g.

I’m the first of a new breed of young gun-totin’, Bible-bashin’, conservative family men fighting against left-wing regressives. Either that or I’m making a heroic last stand for freedom as the sun sets on Christian civilisation. You can find more of me on Right Minds NZ

Right Minds NZ is a broad church right-wing movement for New Zealand conservatives, libertarians, traditionalists, capitalists, and nationalists: people who share our Christian values, believe in personal responsibility, and want to see government play a lesser role in our lives.

        Nothing wrong with that though!
