  1. Kelvin Davis has got our prison population down by 1,000
He would have let most of them out but he could not find the keys

    • No great feat. Not hard to give 1000 prisoners the arse card, just open the gate. Mostly his relo’s probably.

      • A quarter of the prison population are Ngapuhi, Kelvin’s tribe from up north. He said they make up half the Maori prisoners which are 50% of the total population.

        • Could not let them all out yet, as tere are no firearms owners to take their place!
So they had to to keep the prisons running on minium prisoners, to keep staff employed till gun owners turn up!

    • More likely Kelvin opened the gates expecting more to walk out. However they would not go because life is too cushy inside. Who knows they might have to get a proper job in the outside world and we cannot have that.

      Better to stay behind bars.

      • With the serious tensions between Iran/Iraq and the US bringing the world potentially to the brink of a war our PTPM didn’t bother to cut her 8 week holiday short and return to take the helm. Why didn’t anyone notice? Where is the outrage from the MSM? Surely The PTPM cannot justify not being in her office at a time like this. Anyone in the media notice her absence during a potential world crisis?? Hello!

        • Let’s all hope she stays away. If she came back she’d probably dress up as an Iranian general and tearfully declare war on America the capitalist aggressor and its bad bad orange man bad.

        • Three thoughts:
          * Jacinda Ardern would make next to no difference here; unlike Scomo in Australia.
          * Jacinda Ardern would prefer to side with Iran, rather than with the US. She has shown she favours repressive regimes to free, Western ones.
          * There has been no massive disaster yet, so there is no photo opportunity for her to go out and hug a corpse or cock her head at a scarf. So no value to her image.

      • It’s a bit early to call Iran out for not handing over the flight data and cockpit voice recorders. In the normal course of events their own aviation enquiry will be underway, and it still needs to be determined who will take the lead in the enquiry.
The plane was Ukrainian, left an Iraqi airfield, with Canadian, Ukrainian, Iranian and Uk pax aboard, and crashed in Iran.
The most likely explanation seems to involve an air defence missile being automatically triggered, but you have to wonder why Ukraine took the very risky step of using that airspace, when everyone else grounded their planes knowing there was potential for military action.

        • There are relatively few laboratories in the world capable of reading and analysing the data on the so called black boxes. I very much doubt that Iran has the capability so it makes no sense for them to hang on to the black boxes, unless they have something to hide of course.

          7

          0

          • I have no doubt Iran will hand over the black boxes.
They are currently be held in secure storage by Arkasas Security and Housekeeping Co.

Notice no matter what the occasion for the family she tops it with her own announcement e.g. Eugene’s wedding the pregnancy Kate’s birthday they are leaving. • Let us remember history from 1988

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_Air_Flight_655

…Iran Air Flight 655 was a scheduled passenger flight from Tehran to Dubai via Bandar Abbas, that was shot down on 3 July 1988 by an SM-2MR surface-to-air missile fired from USS Vincennes, a guided missile cruiser of the United States Navy. The aircraft, an Airbus A300, was destroyed and all 290 people on board, including 66 children, were killed.[1] The jet was hit while flying over Iran’s territorial waters in the Persian Gulf, along the flight’s usual route, …
      —————-
      https://www.warhistoryonline.com/history/iran-flight-655-shot-uss-vincennes.html

…In 1988, a US warship shot down an Iranian commercial plane, killing all onboard. The American captain and his crew were hailed as heroes, Scotland suffered, Libyans were punished, and we are still living with the effects today.

It began when Iraq invaded Iran on September 22, 1980. America sided with Iraq, and by the time it ended on August 20, 1988, about a million people were dead. What ended the war, however, was an event that took place in the Strait of Hormuz….

…At 10:17 AM Iranian time (UTC +3:30), 655 finally took off and headed back the way it had come along commercial air corridor Amber 59 – a 20-mile wide lane which stretched directly over the Vincennes.

Down below, Rogers was having the time of his life blasting Boghammers when his men detected Flight 655. They contacted the plane but got no response. Switching to civilian channels, they ordered the “F-14” to change course.

If Rezalan received it, he ignored it. He was not the only commercial plane in the vicinity, nor was he flying an F-14 fighter jet.

Remembering the Stark and the Samuel B. Roberts while in the midst of a skirmish with Boghammars and other armed speed boats, Rogers gave the order to fire. There was a media crew onboard, that day, which recorded the jubilation on the bridge as they confirmed a direct hit on the plane….
      —————–
OK Then! 290 dead people on a civilian airliner.
Shot down by a hotshot idiot US warship captain.

…As they were already (illegally) in Iranian waters, the Vincennes was the first to arrive. In the sea were 290 dead bodies – 66 of whom were children. There was no more cheering after that, not even from Rogers.

      and then the lies:

America denied having any ships in Iranian waters and blamed Iran for the incident. They also claimed that 655 was descending as if in attack mode. [way to own up to murder]

They gave Rogers the Legion of Merit for his performance and the rest of the crew a hero’s welcome in San Diego. They would change their stories years later, but for others, it would be too late….
      —————–

The U.S. government never officially apologized for the incident or accepted responsibility, although in 1996 more than $61 million in compensation was paid to the families of the 248 Iranian citizens who died in the crash. As Reagan administration spokesman Marlin Fitzwater put it regarding the eventual monetary settlement, “[The] offer of ex gratia compensation … is a humanitarian effort to ease the hardship of the families. It is offered on a voluntary basis, not on the basis of any legal liability or obligation.”

Let he without sin cast the first stone.

Oh and while on this, why was KAL 007 in 1983 directly over a soviet spy base; more than 200 miles off course. A long way. Was it carrying spying equipment and taking a huge risk, or was it masking a US spyplane known to be in the same airspace at the time and possibly (deliberately?) done to press the Russians. South Korea had a debt to the USA for their involvement in the civil war. When the godfather asks you for a favour…..

There are casualties on both sides in war.
      One casually always is truth.
Being on the ‘winning side’ we don’t need to talk about the massive firebombing of Tokyo civilians or Germans civilians towards the end of WW2.

Feel free to downtick me for posting facts.

  7. Justin Trudeau Said The Ukrainian Plane That Crashed In Iran Was Shot Down By Missile
    https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/salvadorhernandez/justin-trudeau-ukrainian-plane-crash-iran-missile

“The families of the victims and all Canadians want answers. I want answers,” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said. Trudeau mentioned that although the plane appeared to have been shot down by a missile, that the incident “may well have been unintentional.”

When asked about the Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 Thursday morning, Donald Trump said “somebody could have made a mistake.”

“It was flying in a pretty rough neighborhood,” the president said.
Asked whether the crash could have been caused by mechanical failure, Trump told reporters, “I personally don’t even think that’s even a question.”

And in 18 years the furthest I’ve gone onto the Awhiru Penninsula was Glenbrook, for the historical railway. This weekend a group of us are meeting at the Bombay BP to take a ride out to the Manukau Heads Lighthouse. It’s the first time in a couple of years that I’m going on a group ride and I am so excited to be going. Last one was Paws for Justice in 2018, which was a squizillion motorcycles. (You can see me on my Indian at about 11 – 14 seconds into the video)

    Let’s hope the weather holds!

  10. Judgment is the key issue in the Martin Matthews case
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/opinion/118625205/judgment-is-the-key-issue-in-the-martin-matthews-case

OPINION: The late detection of Joanne Harrison’s fraud at the Ministry of Transport uncovered in 2016 is a wake-up call to New Zealand’s top public servants about the responsibility they have to safeguard our money.

By the time the then Secretary of Transport, Martin Matthews, acted to report the fraud, concerns from within the ministry about Harrison’s non-compliance with policies designed to prevent fraud had been repeatedly reported for more than two years.

    8

    0

    • Credit where credit is due.
Sue Moroney did a bloody good job there exposing the idiot Matthews.

Matthews was a fool that was probably seduced by Harrison (all under wraps now) so he participated in the destruction of honest peoples careers to protect a fraudster; he ignored the Australian Federal Police (the serious outfit that go after drug dealers in Asia, not giving out traffic tickets or investigating assaults) when they came knocking.

Matthews is barely fit to be a night cleaner and yet he thought he was a legend in his own lunchroom (possibly enhanced by ‘favours’ from Joanne Harrison) that he was good enough to be Auditor General.
      He was not.

There is no lower scum that Martin Matthews- pretentious, lazy, cruising wannabe that thought he was good enough to oversee the annual expenditure of more than $80 billion dollars a year by the govt. Our taxes.
      He was not.

      https://thespinoff.co.nz/politics/21-07-2017/the-ministry-of-transport-fraud-case-why-the-rot-goes-deeper-than-joanne-harrison/

Late last year the media filth called Stuff were running a charm offensive for dodgy Matthews.
Did money or ‘favours’ change hands for this?
Matthews does nothing to clear the stain from his name.
What sort of stain that is after spending time with Joanne Harrison we dont need details on!!

    • All Jizz – the criminals of Qatar

Why do you watch their crap?
Do you want to be misinformed?
      If so, Why?

All Jizz is a propaganda channel run by the Qatar Govt.
      It is not news.
      It is misinformation.

All Jizzy-error interfered in the Australian Federal Election 2019 and poured large funds in to discredit the ‘One Nation Party’
because it is anti immigration – its policy in a democracy; people do not have to vote for them.
The filth they dont want coming into their country are the type of moozlem filth we see tearing up the streets of Melbourne and running drugs and prostitution in Sydney.
They had agents in One Nation for years (big money) in order to run a smear campaign against them at election time.

All Jizz-error, the Qatar Criminals, should be banned in western countries.
It is a hate station full of anti western rhetoric.

I wont watch this crap you link to.

You can watch what you like Dignap.
I wont censor you but if Al jazzera is the source for any ‘information’ your sources are severely compromised.

      Do I despise the Qataris?
      Yes.
As do most of their neighbours who are onto them.
Qatar funded the first $2 billoin of insurency to start the Syrian ‘civil’ war.
      Why?
Because they want to put a gas pipeline through Syria to sell their copious gas to europe.
      Syria said no.

Do I find it horrific that they bribed FIFA to get the 2022 Toe-jammers world cup.
      Yes.
Do I find it worse that more people have died in building the stadia than will actually play the footy games?
      Definitely.
These ‘guest workers’ are their fellow Moozlems and Qatar treat them like shit. Worse than camels. Dangerous working conditions and ‘living quarters’ of metal containers in the desert.

      Qatar. A nasty evil regime.
I wont bother with part 1 and certainly wont get excited about a part 2.
I suppose it does provide employment for Dhimmis and misinformation for those who think they are informed!

      • We must have all farted at the same time.
        Nevertheless there are consequences.

First published on April 26, 2018
The data in the latest Chinese study was collected following the most powerful of North Korea’s six nuclear device tests on Sept. 3, which is believed to have triggered four earthquakes over the following weeks. The yield of the bomb was estimated at more than 100 kilotons of TNT, at least 10 times stronger than anything the North had tested previously. (The bomb the United States dropped on Hiroshima in 1945 had a yield of about 15 kilotons.)

On Saturday, North Korea announced it will close its nuclear testing facility and suspend nuclear and intercontinental ballistic missile tests – a move welcomed by Trump as “big progress” – and which comes ahead of the planned summit between him and Kim.
