  1. Sroubek: ‘I learned my lesson ‘.
Has anyone else other than me have suspicion that they have deferred his release and made the next parole hearing in November 2020 straight after the next Election to ride out this controversy and then have three years if elected to ride out the storm of him being allowed to reside in New Zealand.
Does Iian Lee’s Galloway with help of Jacinda think people will just forget about her involvement with this drug dealer and his friends lies over his request to stay in NZ or do they think the voter is to stupid to worry about if if she gets another 3year term.

  2. Anyone seen our supreme leader around the country.

OR Has she scuttled back to Aussie where they like her more.

With any luck she will do a Prince Harry.

( now don’t get me wrong I actually like Harry. Gutsy bugger. )

Easier for Cindy to go. She has no Grandma in the big house to keep her under the thumb and we don’t expect her to run royal duties.

Exporting her would be great for morale.

Have to say this LOOOONG holiday makes me suspicious.

Do us all a favour Cindy.
    Go now.
    You heard it here first.

  3. Our cops have become soy boys who can no longer handle the job. Hawkes Bay Commander announced to the gangs that they have the upper hand. Gang numbers are growing, the police have lost control, licensed gun owners are being targeted instead of the criminal gangs.
    “Let’s Do This” 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Source of gang problem in Hawke’s Bay ‘well beyond the police’, says area commander

The proliferation of gang members in Hawke’s Bay and the now very evident consequences is “well beyond the police”.

Eastern District Commander Superintendent Tania Kura said it in a way that suggested anyone thinking police could somehow stem the number of young men signing up for a patch was a fool.

  4. Well the ladies are taking over. Men no longer are woke so WTF does anyone expect?

Next step woman as a Police Commissioner becuase Cindy says so. Mind you Bush has been an abject poor performer. everyone liked him though we were told.
Gun licence bullshit down to him. Gun patrols down to him.
Lots more failed police policy down to an obsession with guns.

I see we are getting17 more Judges to smack bad boys hands.
    doesn’t look that upstanding.

  5. It is a folly to take on social disfunction while avoiding all mention of the p word. Max Rashbrooke talks about new programs “interventions” like programs helping poor families to be better parents- without addressing substantially issues of poverty, and it is a bit like trying to prop a crumbling brick wall with a piece of four- by- two. He goes on to quote Jess Berenton Shaws book Pennies in Heaven where she writes “money works” cash assistance to low income families has been shown to improve children’s mental development.
While he may right in many things throwing money at the problem just makes more people dependent on it
and maybe it’s time to educate those families with the prolem to not have children if they can’t afford them.

    • Stop the funding of future children by the taxpayer and those having children for the funding will stop getting pregnant. Take away the incentive. Responsible parents have children because they want them and mainly have a safe, secure life established before doing so.

      • I can’t think of another way to do it, but guaranteed – the same idiots that are using this funding now will continue to have children and will subject those children to poverty. How do we handle that? Do we handle that?

        • Remove the children and plug your ears to all the parents screaming racism to the media .The parents had a chance and a choice and blew it. The priority should be the health and wellbeing of all children at all times, not the insane ramblings of Tariana or her bleating ilk. Stop rewarding stupid behaviour with money,it hasn’t made one difference to the child abuse or poverty rates in New Zealad.

    • And how are you ging to educate people that having children when they cannot afford it is not a good idea.
A one hour lecture? A one week course, a polytech course?

Some girls see it as a career path
Some boys see those girls as a meal ticket
There is only one real option, and that is to stop the dpb – cut our taxes and let charities and their family help them

      • Or compulsory sterilization. If sterilization was a sentencing option for a whole range of minor offenses, anti -social behaviour etc. and mandated for more serious ones it would work wonders. But which government will ever think that far outside the box? When the CCP eventually takes over here it may happen I suppose but I won’t live to see it and in the meantime things will just continue to get worse and worse.
Oh dear, now I’m feeling depressed, I’m off for a walk! 🙂

      • They are setting us up for what is coming.
Consider this propaganda and the UN directive that we cannot refuse ‘Climate Change Refugees.’
And then consider we sneakily signed the UN Migration Pact.
NZ is about to be bombarded with Refugees. And Jacinda will be there with her team of Photographers giving the first ones a cuddle on the Beach…

        • No, our sovereignty is not for the UN to over rule with such a direction. This country will decide who comes and who does not. Enabling some unelected UNcrat to determine who comes here is not acceptable at all.

I expect Mr Peters, as our Foreign Minister, to work diligently to protect New Zealand’s sovereignty and interests in this matter of an international nature. The Minister of Immigration is not trusted by me to be of any value in the issue.

  6. I predict an announcement of a new Maori Party launching for election 2020. Whānau Ora will be their foundation policy.

Announcements around Whānau Ora coming in ‘month or two’ amid legal action from Māori leaders

Mr Henare reinforced his and the Government’s support of Whānau Ora, and disputes claims that their control over the intiative is political. He said the Government doesn’t desire to have control, nor does it know what’s best for whānau.

Māori leaders say Whānau Ora is failing, take legal action against Government

“Iwi have control. Iwi and hapu know who their people are, the Government doesn’t and I dare say neither does the Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency,” said Mr Henare.

“We (the Government) understand the concept, we know that whānau can meet their own aspirations and they need to be empowered to do that, and we support that.”

  7. Paula Bennett struggles to trust Winston Peters ahead of election showdown

She told The AM Show she finds it hard to trust Peters.

“I struggle with it, I have got to be honest. With what he put even taxpayers through last year. The court case he took against me, which was completely ridiculous, has cost over $500,000.”

Bennett is referencing the High Court battle late last year in which Peters sued several former ministers and bureaucrats over the leak of pension overpayments to the media just before the 2017 election. Those sued were Bennett, former Social Development Minister Anne Tolley, the Ministry of Social Development (MSD), State Services Commissioner Peter Hughes and former MSD boss Brendan Boyle.

He sought damages and a declaration his privacy was breached. During the course of the trial, Peters accepted neither Bennett nor Tolley were responsible for the leak.

Documents obtained by Newshub last year showed the pre-trial cost to taxpayers was at least $537,644. However, other costs, including for the QCs representing the defendants would add to that figure.
A judgement is expected early this year.

    • When is Simon Bridges going to publicly announce that he and the Nats will not have anything to do with Peters and his scummy mob this election, or is he keeping mum just incase the Nats need the numbers to form a coalition. I wana know NOW..not a week before the big day.

      • Yes, i want to know to Mike but he would be nuts to do it just yet.
But i am wondering is there any sense of just ruling the prick out but not the party if that said prick stood down and say Tabuteau took over..?

      • Peters will increase the spiteful comments directed at the Nats when Simon announces he won’t work with Peters. Might be fun to stir the old bastard up and see how nasty and vitriolic he becomes!! 😂😂😂

      • If the National rules out Winston Peters, then would Ardern gain some power over NZ First?

In Ardern’s mind Unca Winston has made her, but could always look at cosying up back to National.

Once it is fully declared that there is no where to go for Winston, then she can call the shots on him and look Prime Ministerial.
Peters will pull his head in so as to keep supping to his last in the trough.
Shane Jones may be told where to go.

Currently Ardern still has to keep backing NZ First and its mess, thinking they can sandwich the election.

I think leave them in their own puking mess, and it will get messier. 🙂 as they jockey for difference and position before the next election and the vain hope of cobbling it altogether again.

Just enjoy the stress being put on Ardern, to think another 3 years if they win, and to kow tow with Winston.

Once National declares, well we know they will never go back, and it is a card to play, and timing may help, when it may have the best effect.
So play around the edges, stir, provoke. etc. trust issues, etc. … then declare.

Mud on one, at this stage will stick to the other.
Forest scandals, incompetency, best to allow that to freely boil over in the one pot.

        • If Simple Simon announces in advance that he will not work with Peters this takes the heat off Cindy as she knows the Great Charlatan has to back her or sit on the benches.

For once the Pope is feeding him he right advice.

  8. The truth about the Virginia Gun Rally is out. Be sure to watch the embedded link to CNN trying their best to whip up mass hysteria over these “heavily armed far right, white nationalist extremists” The entire protest passed peacefully and the police and the one arrest was a woman who was part of the small counter protest.

  9. Ihumatao, Labour’s “pooey nappy” of the 2020 election. Nobody wants to touch it. Socialist Cindy accommodating the Maori radicals when Ihumatao was first occupied by protesters will be Socialist Cindy’s election nemesis.

Māori King to visit Ihumātao amid speculation of impending resolution to land dispute

  10. Provincial Growth Fund open to funding more dams amid drought concerns – despite scientist’s warning

“Shane Jones, the Regional Economic Minister who oversees the PGF, told Newshub the $3 billion fund will consider “water resilience projects” similar to the controversial Wairarapa dam that got $7.1 million from the PGF last week.

It comes as Northland faces drought because of record low rainfall forcing farmers to face making a loss as summer feed crops fail. NIWA tweeted this week that a “meteorological drought has now emerged” in northern parts of the country.”

Dr Joy, who has a PhD in Ecology, was critical of the PGF money put towards the Wairarapa dam project last week. He said the development could drain natural waterways and create more water dependence.
His opposition led Jones to lash out at the scientist and label him “Dr Killjoy”.

Dams (lakes) on farms filled during winter/rainy months sound like a positive commonsense solution to lack of water during droughts.

  11. Wonderful idea: Dial up your Uber App to have a fuel truck deliver fuel to your vehicle. Marvellous!! Although hubby says “FFS”. 😯

New Zealand gets Uber-style fuel service as pilot launches in Christchurch

A delivery service called FILL has launched a pilot in Christchurch, bringing on-demand fuel directly to vehicles. Customers can order the petrol via its smartphone app called FILL for Fuel.

  12. I’m sure the graffiti was there but is this story for real?

Wellington Jewish congregation targeted by neo-Nazi graffiti

“The footpath outside the Temple Sinai was defaced by numerous bright yellow swastikas on Wednesday. The word “Heil” was also painted nearby.

“One swastika was painted on the synagogue, one on a nearby fence and several others on the footpath and a fence on The Terrace,” a Wellington City Council spokesperson told Newshub.”

  13. A store that sells new husbands has opened in London where a woman may go to choose a husband.

Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:

You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increases as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor or may choose to go up to the next floor but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband.

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 – These men Have Jobs

She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:

Floor 2 – These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.

‘That’s nice,’ she thinks, ‘but I want more.’

So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 – These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.

‘Wow,’ she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 4 – These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.

‘Oh, mercy me!’ she exclaims, ‘I can hardly stand it!’

Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 5 – These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:

Floor 6 – You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please and are all just want, want, fucking want.

No wonder you are on you own, you deserve being left on the shelf. Now fuck off!

Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.

To avoid gender bias charges, the store’s owner opened a New Wives store just across the street.

The first floor has wives that love sex.

The second floor has wives that love sex, have some money and like a beer and a shag whenever you fancy!

The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.

    • From Worksafe’s website:

……”You need to notify WorkSafe if a serious injury, illness or incident happened to a person or people carrying out work, or as a result of work that your business or organisation is responsible for.”……

By the wording I suggest that their focus is on injuries sustained by onsite workers rather than the general public same as the Labour Dept investigators they replaced.

      • Not only the general public. I know of someone who recently had a call from worksafe.
They wanted to go and check out his business. Apparently they asked all sorts or questions and when it came to make an appointment the person asked how many employees there were in the business. On being told it was a one man band and no other employees, they were told that there is no need to be inspected.
He asked me what about his safety? does it not matter as much as any employees?

          • If you want to keep some of your hair for your old age do what I did. Get the best accountant available for the business you’re in & concentrate on doing what you do well.

Otherwise the Banks, IRD, ACC & the rest of the parasites will send you to an early grave.

    • “Her face collided with the steering wheel with such force that it cracked as her truck came to a shuddering halt” She is pictured in the ambulance with her sunglasses still on her head.
No cones or warning on the road below the work site?
Two investigations from Worksafe closed quickly.
Something doesn’t smell right, but it’s hard to say who the bad actor/s is/are.

  14. The NZ cops are a failure.
    They kowtow to the gangs.
Warning: long read – 850 words; strong language; no pussy footing.

Essentially they are big sooks, sookesses, and non-gendered sookies who have given up on real law enforcement.
    This has been ‘progressive’
E.g. 15+ years ago they gave up on burglaries as ‘it was too tough’.

They have now essentially stated they give up on gangs.
We know in 2019 they gave up enforcement on Extinction rebels and allowed them to run riot in Wellington and told the workers to stay home.
    Fecking great solution, Not!

The NZ Cops have failed….. miserably.
Let us not forget Roastbusters – the NZ cops protecting their own lot.
Let us not forget that Ewen MacDonald was not convicted of the Scott Guy murder.
No-one has. The cops are not looking for anyone. He must have been killed by a magic bullet!
MacDonald’s brother is a Detective in the NZ police (at the time).

Now people are waking up to the fact the NZ cops are just not very good at their prescribed job and a lot of the murder convictions are unsafe.
We can see after the glaring errors last month at White Island that not only did the cops handle that badly and had to replace the cop in charge after only 2 days, that this underscores how they screwed up Pike River and buried evidence re their incompetence.
If a private citizen buried evidence- woe betide.

If a member of the public lost a gun (say, stolen by the out-of-control gangs) the cops would punish severely but when they lose guns… s’OK.
They didn’t even apprehend the gun robber (Palmy) when caught red handed.

NZ cops have the profile of schoolyard bullies.
When someone is tougher than them they run away and find someone weaker …to kick sand in their face.

If anyone can point out a success story of the NZ cops in the past two years…. post it here.
    Pretty please?

A few weeks ago I watched online the documentary on the 1998 Olivia Hope/Ben Smart disappearance. That the conservative TVNZ broadcast this a couple of years ago shows how ‘off’ the cops really are.
    The cops get slammed.

There are so many unsafe convictions in NZ but the cops peg someone then fit them up for it.
If they really had to solve murders properly they would be toast.
    They are that bad.
Lest we forget. They would not back down on Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) sufferer, Teina Pora.
The kid was a 16 year old hot mess. But bullies go after the vulnerable.
With the NZ Police record of ‘making it fit’ this looked to be an easy murder clearance.
It took decades to overturn this position and the police position never encouraged ‘justice’ just a case closed’
    Add in David Dougherty.
They don’t do justice. Just thugery.
Except when someone can be mean back; like gangs; like Extinction rebellion
Peter Ellis could confirm that…if he was still with us.

The poo lice failure to control gangs is a failure for our society
Is it time to declare Jarrod Gilbert a ‘national nuisance’ ?
Remember the NZ media filth have been running puff pieces on the gangs for over a year now.
    This is the result.

Norm Kirk was a hard leftie. Even he had the guts to stand up to the gangs.
In 1973 legislation aimed at gangs was introduced prohibiting unlawful assembly.
Sadly Notional’s Muldoon reversed this and was very gang-friendly to the point they did a salute at his funeral.
He started schemes in 1981 for handouts to gangs ‘for work’
These were scrapped under Roger Douglas.

The guy who took Muldoon out of the picture in 1984 was Bob Jones with his NZ Party.
Bob Jones has often said that Sociologists are a waste of time.
    Jarrod Gilbert is a sociologist.
    Jones; correct again.

The Australian Federal and State governments have recognised how dangerous gangs are to good society.
They don’t go on about how they ‘provide homes for lost souls’ or some shite that the likes of Gilbert prattles on with.
Gilbert is not part of any solution and clearly aligned to the problem.

Have a look at the crap this cock goblin Gilbert spews out. He is anti climate change deniers; anti ‘white supremacists’; has a go at people who go to rodeos…. He is full of hate and division.

I have just done research on Jarrod Gilbert of Canterbury University today. Fortunately it looks like he is aligned with the Herald where I don’t go so I have not noticed his inanity before but find he truly is a hideous critter that wants to undermine my world.
He is the enemy and a gang affiliate.

The media are perpetuating the problem esp. with their pro gang propaganda with shite about helping little old ladies to cross the road and ‘feed the children’ crap.
The Australians realise that Gangs do not just run retail level tinny houses like the 1970s.
Gangs are involved in serious drug importation, sales and distribution.
Hard drugs. Life changing, mind altering, illegal drugs.

Who is going to take the lead on this scourge?
Clearly the cops are a failure.
They are reduced to traffic officers and political thought police in 2020.

Around the world many poo lice forces are not fit to stand in the the shadow of Sir Robert Peel’s creation. Places like Mexico and Thailand were already there.
    New Zealand has joined them.
    Thanks for reading.

    • …….”The Australians realise that Gangs do not just run retail level tinny houses like the 1970s.
Gangs are involved in serious drug importation, sales and distribution.
Hard drugs. Life changing, mind altering, illegal drug”……

The NZ police are in good company on this. The shut-ins on this & other right sympathising blogs are apoplectic over the possibility that the dreaded “Maryjane” may be legalised. Zillions of electrons are grossly inconvenienced as the idiots with Reefer Madness on loop on their VHS machines take out their emotions on their laptops.

Meanwhile gangs import “P” & its precursors in 40kg multiwall bags. Politicians & Cops wank on about “whanau” & poverty while lives are destroyed by addictions to meth & other hard drugs.

The situation is beyond being schizophrenic!

  15. Another load of parasites making money out of tragedy.
Red Cross needs to be audited and probably Charitable Status removed.
Probably boards, directors, executive in administration get paid too much.

Less than a third of the money raised by the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund has been committed to fire victims. ….

There are also no guarantees the remaining funds will be handed out this summer.

Ben Fordham says, “people don’t donate to the bushfire victims so the charity can put most of it in the bank for another day.” …..

Yet they will skite how well they do things, and being experts, specialists etc…
I also recall the funds held over from the Hurricane Katrina when it New Orleans.

  16. Tea towels on bobbing heads, and as we say, “get on your bike” and #theyareus, but not “us” as will still be persecuted, fined, and would be reported to “Paparoa” for being supreme.
The police will enjoy giving tickets, as some of those fines seem quite hefty.

    Will paparoa notice?
I guess exemptions may be also allowed for “maori cloaks” that need to be honoured.

“an area spread with cloaks to mark a special place of honour”

Just another way break down community cohesion and keep it divided.

  17. I was pretty bewildered when I read here in the last day or so about the two Palmerston Nth cops who had challenged the offender with their pistols drawn, while he was in the process of stealing a cache of firearms from their station, and then allowed him to leave without stopping him (one way or another).

Without knowing the full story, I would hazard a guess that what at fist sight appears to be a dereliction of duty by these two cops, has a 30 odd year back story of ‘non confrontational policing mentality’. ie..not worth sticking the neck out for with all the inevitable grief down the line…wall to wall msm condemnation, Police Complaints Authority investigation, Police criminal investigation, private prosecution, etc etc.. easier to handle a bit of embarrassment.

“(c) to PREVENT THE ESCAPE of an offender (Section 40 of the Crimes Act 1961) if it is believed on reasonable grounds that the offender poses a threat of death or grievous bodily harm to any person (whether an identifiable individual or members of the public at large)
he or she takes to flight to avoid arrest, OR he or she escapes after his or her arrest
such flight or escape cannot reasonably be prevented in a less violent manner.
(3 In any case an offender is not to be shot:
    (a) until he or she has first been called upon to surrender, unless in the circumstances it is impracticable and unsafe to do so
    (b) it is clear that he or she cannot be disarmed or arrested without first being shot”

  18. Winston Peters accuses Gerry Brownlee of ‘politicising’ Holocaust memorial

Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters is accusing Gerry Brownlee of “politicising” a Holocaust memorial event after the National MP questioned the lack of Kiwi representation there.

The event, which strives to create awareness about the need to fight anti-Semitism, will be attended by at least 47 world leaders. Among those going are the Governor-General of Australia, Prince Charles, US Vice-President Mike Pence, and US

However, New Zealand has sent no representative to the event, which Brownlee, National’s Foreign Affairs spokesperson says is “disgraceful”.

“The Government has failed to send a single representative, not even the Governor-General or a Minister, to this significant event. We send Ministers and Members of Parliament to a number of events around the world, but not to this one,” he says.
