  1. Focus live : Salvation Army’s State of the nation report reveals shock housing surplus.
The Salvation Army is again pimping the poor in there State of the Nation Speech by stating according to Statistic NZ report we have a seven thousand surplus of houses in our largest city and housing consents are at record highs.
    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/politics/news/video.cfm?c_id=280&gal_cid=280&gallery_id=216780
So where has all this housing come from certainly not new builds and how could they have missed in previous years or have we a Government that is manipulating the figures for political gain.

    • It’s nonsense. Check this out:

“The Salvation Army believes this means there’s now a surplus of 7,168 houses but warns this doesn’t show a housing excess but rather the erosion of the deficit the city suffered over the last five years.”

    • I was originally thinking he is right, her being Maori is immaterial. But it is not. In the same way he is identified as Kiwi to distinguish him from the British, Korean and North American film makers – she being identified as Maori has bearing in a defamation trial about Sir Bob Jones statements regarding Maori. I don’t think his positive / negative spin holds water, either. This is our woke media afterall.

    • Waititi is not a Maori, but an individual who self-identifies as a Maori. At least he is half-Maori (or less if his father was not a full-blooded Maori).
In Japan, an individual who has one Japanese parent and one non-Japanese parent will not so easily be accepted as being “Japanese” by a significant proportion of the population. So why should we call 1/4-part-Maori or less individuals “Maori”?

I think that the identity of “Maori” is a flag of convenience. Individuals use it because it can convey an advantage in certain circles.

The problem with the religos is they have to spout out every week from the pulpit so have a huge stock of bullshit at the ready.
BS. flowing from their lips on a regular basis is the result.

The Maori seem to apply the ‘just one drop of blood’ rule which means you can be Maori with less percent of blood than Pocahontas Warren has ‘native American’ blood.
It seems it is down to feelz, not pragmatism.

Yay for settlements, claims, and koha.

      • Taika Waititi equally claims to be Jewish from his mother’s side and regularly uses the name Taika Cohen in Hollywood where it has great currency.
Perhaps this is not reported in the web of lies that passes for Gnews in NZ

        https://worldoftaika.com/taika-waititi/
….Taika David Waititi also known as Taika Cohen was born on August 16, 1975. He is of Maori (from his father’s side), and Jewish (from his mother’s side) descent. Taika was born and raised in Te-Whānau-a-Apanui (the East Coast region) and also in Wellington, New Zealand….

        Also
…His father was a Māori farmer and artist of Te Whānau-ā-Apanui, whilst his mother, Robin, is a schoolteacher of European descent. Waititi’s maternal grandfather is of Russian Jewish heritage and his maternal grandmother is of Irish heritage….

        Quite a mix there….
It is not like his Maori ancestor 200 years ago had a Firstname, Surname combination anyway!

Can the TV weathergirl just STFU?

  2. The Government says finances in ‘Strong Position’ to withstand Coronavirus Impact.
The Government is welcoming a surplus of $400 million- slightly higher than the $100 million deficit forecast by Treasury for six months ending December 31st 2019.
I would like to know how you can be in a strong position to combat the Coronavirus epidemic if it hits New Zealand when you have just borrowed $ 12 billion for Election bribes and to finish roading projects National had already earmarked that you shelved for two years without looking at another $10 billion that has been borrowed that is hidden from the voter to build houses and infrastructure which doesn’t show up on Government books.

Next week we don’t want to give somebody money? We have a deficit!

    • The words of Justice Peter Mahon just keep ringing don’t they:-
      ….an orchestrated litany of lies.

Here you have the orchestration and alignment of media filth, public servants (not an independent voice under this regime), and the COL.

The irony of this is the lies that kicked it off in 2017.
      Ardern:-
      ‘I cannot tell a lie
There is no need to tell a lie
      We will be transparent.’

What concerns me is the general population cannot identify obvious and outright lies.
I guess there is a fourth element in this mix- the teachers in the ‘education’ system.
There is a dumbing down and conformity despite the countervailing lie that kids are encouraged to be individuals.

We are doomed, I tell ya.

  3. Wow the bombs keep finding Winston Peter’s and the NZ First Foundation with news of more big donors from the horse racing industry.
As Racing Minister Winston Peter’s has delivered significant benefits to the industry, including millions of dollars of Government moeyspent on tax breaks and scrapping betting levies.
Records showone ofthe big donors that purchased Sir Patrick Hogan Stud the Lindsay Family gave three lots of $15,000 were deposited inthe bank account of NZ First Foundation on 11th October 2018 according to record viewed by RNZ.

        • Would you ever trust the NZ media filth to report anything honestly ?
          I certainly do not.

We saw this clearly 2 months ago when the local Gnews in NZ was reporting White island 30 to 40 hours behind overseas media — in their own country.

This clearly shows colusion by the media to ‘get their story right’ and cleared by the beehive before ‘reporting’ anything.
          They are a WOFT.

Would you trust anything told by the financial failure mediaworks’ Tova No’Brain -when she was most likely one of the notches run up by Jami Lee Ross?
Sarah Dowie is exit stage left. There are at least 5 notches. No’Brain has no credibility. Perhaps she should go as well.

          One of life’s simple rules:-
Those that will lie for you, will lie against you.
Winston is smart enough to recognise this.

  6. Election 2020: National leader Simon Bridges rules out Winston Peters forever as donation scandal swirls
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/02/election-2020-national-leader-simon-bridges-rules-out-winston-peters-forever-as-donation-scandal-swirls.html

Simon Bridges has completely ruled out working with New Zealand First for the upcoming election – or any future elections.

“No ifs, no buts, no time,” said National leader Bridges when probed by The AM Show host Duncan Garner. “I want to end this charade we’ve been in.”

Bridges also doubled down on comments he made last week, saying Kiwis were fed up with Peters holding the country to ransom.

“Everything’s in New Zealand First’s interests and not New Zealanders’ interests.”

Bridges said Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern needs to outright say whether she trusts Peters.

    17

    • She did say yesterday she trusts Peters and that they could not have a stable government if they did not. • Sooty that is the best thing they can do, bread and water in the lock up in solitary confinement. Someone in the family will know who did it, they can’t help but know. What an evil nasty cruel person. So what if the perp does it to them or other members of the family? How they will wish they had spoken up then. A meth addict? Who knows, but it shows that the poor social workers will get it in the neck once again but when they try to remove a child from an abusive family, they are pilloried. Our system is really f**ked if we/police are accepting another family like the Kahui family. Come on Cops do your job.

    • The way so-called Oranga Tamariki is being vilified by Maori pressure groups for removing babies and children from their whanau, they should in future make sure to turn up just in time to remove the little corpses.
It seems incredible to me that skin colour comes into it – aside from the statistics around uplifts being much higher for Maori the answer shouldn’t be assumed to be Waaaacism.
The answer is that there are evidently warning signs within that family beyond an acceptable threshold, and if they happen to be a Maori family far too often – Maori pressure groups should be looking at the family/educational and aspirational issues behind this, and not bash the agency that is trying to protect children from things like this latest example of violence.

Must be morale sapping to be working at Oranga Tamariki. Would be torn around action or in-action.

Future policy should be, as per Tariana Turia and bunch, government dept. will send an email to the nearest marae
Subject: “Trouble here. Children in danger.”
      Email: “You sort it.
      Much love and best wishes,

I have just sent Ed the latest SSANZ e mail to members which concerns the number of children killed in New Zealand. The death toll from such acts of violence over the last 20 years now well exceeds the total number of those killed when “somebody did something” last year and yet the government seems to act only against the law abiding pouring vast amounts of money down the drain on useless feel good legislation and virtue signalling whilst turning the country into a police state.

  9. If a business director ran their company the way Winston Peters and his lawyer runs NZ First / Foundation, they would be struck off the companies register and prosecuted. Apparently when you’re part of the most transparent government ever, crickets. I believe that NZ First needs to be suspended from Government and Parliament until the issue is sorted. If that means Labour and Greens become a minority Government and can’t make stupid laws, all the better for us.

Labour list candidate Sam McDonald accused of ‘online harassment’ by National’s youth wing

In the comment section, McDonald – who unsuccessfully ran as Labour’s Tāmaki electorate candidate at the 2017 election – suggested there was not enough racial diversity in the image.

“Bro did these people when looking at this photo before publishing not go “flip, everyone in this photo is white, it sends the wrong message”,” McDonald, who is number 61 on Labour’s candidate list, said.

    • It is true that diversity just means Less Straight White Men.
But when the critic is a white man (at the least) then being upset over too many white people it is either mischievous shit stirring or a genuinely delusional ‘out-group bia’s.

How retarded is it that ‘whiteness’ or ‘too white’ is even a real thing that people could state so loudly and openly?

Consider -There are awards where only racial/ethnic minorities can be considered for in both NZ and overseas. – Nobody would suggest that a black audience watching a black comedian ‘Needs More Diversity’ – Or that Kapa Haka must be “reflective of modern NZ society” and hence any Kapa Haka group must have more non-Maori in it that Maori. {where’s the Asians and Somalians in that haka?).
But all this crap about diversity IS stated with sincerity and conviction, and long as the target group, exclusion and the reduction is on white, and/or male/straight.

The intellectual bankrupt diversity and inclusion champions have taken any gentle or potential well meaning possibility of such an ethos, and degenerated into mean spiritedness; Going “full retard”.

Nothing but contempt for anyone that flaunts it.

The Mayor of Tauranga is calling for Government action following a rise in violence around the region and a shooting in Omanawa yesterday which saw two men killed.

Mr Powell says he’s not suggesting that yesterday’s shooting is gang related, but that the city has a “serious gang issue and it’s one that is rising”.

Gangs – the only true growth industry under the Coalition.

In keeping with the shocking stats around Gang membership numbers increasing, I am seeing much more evidence of gangs than ever.
I have posted some other Mongrel Mob stories here in past weeks. I am not a fan.
Latest was last weekend someone walking up and down the road playing music from a smart device I presume, and coming onto the neighbours property around 2am and shouting “Sieg Heil” {mob salute} and making calls for fighting. Maybe the challenges since they suspect the neighbours have called the cops of the gang house nearby before? (which they have).
The neighbours are mostly foreign and next day told me they were scared to death when I asked, but they didnt call the police for some reason.
I did call the cops, and told the neighbours to make sure to do so next time and every time. I got sick of hearing the bozo as he went up and down and so went outside a checked and saw him come off their property so I called the police to report this belligerent bugger. “We might send someone, if someone is nearby” the Police said.
I don’t fancy my premises coming to the attention of the local mongrel mob folk. A confirmation as to why not stick my neck out was the neighbors showing me a nasty black bowie knife they picked up off the sidewalk a few days earlier.
And here is me a firearms owner, but there is no way I can confront these people on any spectrum of confrontation (armed with anything from a bread knife or not) and it work out well for me or my family. Both the mob and the police we be after me.
We need strong law and order. Not treating these people as misunderstood children or softly softly.
When it comes to gangs, a little more of the American style of policing is needed.
      Slam them down. Hard.
Good God NZ is a pussy country. And collectively has not the conviction nor self confidence to hold the line. Our leaders are trying to out virtue each other, if not actively self loathing or opposed to past norms.

I note in the last few months we seem to have more shouting and screaming from these mob houses down the road, and more people wearing red about.
The same night as I called the police, the next morning several local businesses were covered with crude spray paint swastikas.
The swastikas were evidence for those white supremacists I suppose? **
Now that’s what we really need to care about!

—Time to send a dozen armed police to raid someone from a right wing blog.
—Looking for prohibited firearms should work as a reason. Not likely to be any trouble.
—A hell of a lot easier than dealing with a potentially violent situation at 2am.

**Seeing the swastikas, and being pretty sure it was the mongrel mob bozo, it made me wonder how much ‘Neo Nazi Graffiti’ we see in alarmist Stuff articles might actually be Maori cuzzi-bros tagging up shit with symbology which the mob uses.
After all, real neo-nazis are in very short supply, but there is no shortage of Mongrel Mob around the regions.

    • I expect the police response, apart from showing off their (prohibited for you and me) Bushmaster rifles and Glock pistols which residents have been warned to expect, will be to raid a few more licenced gun owners at tea time looking for rabbit rifles and such. They have their priorities and must crack down on the law abiding to make sure they are….law abiding.

    • Where are the special armed police squads set up by Stuart Nash of the COL to roam the streets ready for an outbreak of violence? Send them to Hawkes Bay and Tauranga where the gang are current flexing their muscles.
Can we have a report on how many gang killings they have attended since being set up?

Not that I am casting aspersions but I got given a kune kune pig once that was so fat that it couldn’t see. The previous owners who loved its size had thought of getting the eyelids surgically ‘fixed’ so that it could. There are many kinds of animal cruelty, I thought that was one.
It fell into the creek I assume as I never saw it after a week, and it was in a back paddock!!.

  18. Stuart Nash should be thinking about his own. Constituency instead of mouthing off about those leaving National.
With comments like announcing they are leaving is really jumping ship because they believe National con win the Election , well maybe he should be looking to his own electorates he is not most popular person in the Hawkes Bay.

Winston is treading water and trying to bend the truth to keep his flock in tow but really the stench of corruption is fairly strong.

  20. Nash really is a stupid wanker.

He said people could expect to see police openly carrying their Bushmaster rifles and Glock pistols.

“Expect to see police wearing their new body armour. Expect to see the Eagle helicopter in the air. Expect to see police executing search warrants at gang properties and stopping vehicles carrying gang members and associates.”

He said the Government was pouring more resources into policing in Bay of Plenty, and around the country, with a special focus on gangs and organised crime.

Nash also called for tougher penalties for gun crime.

“Next week Parliament will vote on tougher penalties for people who supply firearms to gang members and other unlicensed offenders.

“I challenge the local MP, Simon Bridges, to support the new gun laws. Up till now he has tried to block them.”

With gangs having a presence in the area for about 50 years he said police needed the community’s help to make a difference.

“They cannot simply just arrest their way out of the problem.”

Thats the best he can od after two more dead by gang guns in the BOP.

Calling out Simon (which I suppose is a fair cop becuase he will support the shit they call legislation. apparently if you have a rule everyone obeys. Just like China.)

    • At least your mayor seems to have a handle on what’s behind the killings:

…… “Until we cut the head off the meth monster gang money will continue to be as big as it is,” he said.

“From the [gangs’] perspective, it’s worth fighting for.”……..

It is unlikely that we’ll get confirmation of his message from Police HQ. They were, after all, playing Rambo jumping out of choppers to destroy some old hippy’s spindly dope crop while the gangs & the big money boys used the time to set up addictive meth dealing networks.

Can anyone who had a relative die get a benefit for life if they feel anxiety?

So much for the great contribution out society gets from taking refugees from Muslim lands.

    • The Scouting organisation is super careful now, so that security checks are made even of parent helpers and no adult is ever alone with kids (for protection of the adults AND the kids). He tried all sorts of methods of grooming and getting to kiddie fiddle, his scouting crimes were in the 1970s and his crimes over decades.

But this guy really is a serial abuser.

This is kind of especially nasty somehow ….”Morris sexually abused the boy in the back of the darkened theatre while the Rocky Horror Picture Show played.”

  22. Polls Find Americans Not Concerned About “Climate Change”

The Pew Research Center recently released its survey of Americans’ opinions on the federal government’s priorities. The poll of 1,505 adults, conducted January 9–14, asked them to state whether various issues should be a “top priority” for Washington this year.

Topping the list were typical kitchen-table issues: the economy, healthcare costs, and education. Next came combating terrorism, shoring up Social Security, and protecting Medicare. Out of 18 issues in the survey, climate change placed 17th as a top priority for the government, behind such matters as improving race relations, strengthening the military, and upgrading transportation infrastructure. (Global trade came in dead last, suggesting that President Donald Trump might not want to hang his reelection hopes solely on his trade policies.)

Currently we’re parked up in a town that reminds me of Deliverance without the benefit of the banjo music while dealing with crap TV reception & a 3G broadband connection through a hotspot on my phone. Youtube is but a distant memory.

  25. An interesting set of figure re NH primary . A cut and paste by me

“P Trump had almost as many democrat voters at his NH rally as Sandals had in total at his massive pre-primary concert rally/sarc
    POTUS figures from Brad Parscale:
    52,559 Tickets sold
24,732 Voters Identified (41% from NH)
    17% didn’t vote in 2016
    25.4% Democrats
    lololololol….
    #WINNING ”

NB. Pascale’s figures are for those who attended the recent NH rally but it would include those that got into the stadium —there almost as many outside watching on big screens.

Also it has been noted that in Iowa in 2016 240,000 Democrats participated in the primary voting. 2020 only 170,000
Similarly in NH there was a 70,000 drop from 290,000 in 2016.

  26. “Talks cheap sweetheart”, Simon says to Wynston.

I assume that spelling lt like that would annoy Wynston if he read it, otherwise he wouldn’t have changed it. I must remember to do it everytime I refer to him.

Are there any legal implications to name spelling differing from useage, on legal documents? Would it be legal for me to call and sign documents as Rachel Membery when that is incorrect? Would such a change have to be formalised? Does Winston Peters exist or is it Wynston Peters when he signs his name. There was that double electoral matter with different spellings of the same name. It is definitey time that IDs are required at Polling Stations.
