  1. Police have released figures that reveal the number of fleeing drivers are at all time high.
The number of incidents alone was 512 making last years total overall a record a source told One News, Darrock Ball the same NZ First MP that blamed National we they were in power for the increase in chase’s because of a Law change now conveniently says it’s almost tripled in ten years and blames police policy for officer’s abandoning chase for safty as the reason.
Mr Ball says the numbers show suspects have
“absolutely no fear of being caught”.

Isn’t it funny when National were in Power NZ First lead the chorus of condemnation on young ones being killed in road accidents because of Police chases.

    • Yes – happy. But we have left “the Age of Reason” and we have now firmly moved into “Idiocracy”.

Q: Who could have possibly thought that the decision to stop pursuing fleeing drivers would result in fleeing?
A: Anyone who isn’t a fucked up, woke socialist! That’s fucking who!

But because of several generations of creeping Marxist indoctrination into our schools (I wonder why the iron boot of fascism was used to grind out Charter schools on Day 1?? Hmm) – we now are living in 1984 where everybody under the age of 45 (and many over that age) is a complete moron who has been brainwashed into thinking 100 % irrationalities like:
      – if you hug a muslim – maybe they won’t blow you up one day
      – a man can be a woman if they weally, weally insult you a lot
      – free speech is qualified
      – releasing criminals is good because they won’t reoffend
      – socialism will work this time – honest – I know because {{FEELINGS}}
      – even though the climate has always changed – this time it’s weally, weally bad
      – if you pay all your money to the UN, they can fix the weather

I really believe the Western world is going to collapse in on itself in an orgy of self-destructive wokeness. Decay of great civilisations has always happened – it’s always preceded by apathy, a degeneration of the moral code and betrayal from within by evil monsters (looking at you simpering Cindy).

The best we can hope for is a good seat to watch the chaos and a full cupboard of ammunition.
I don’t hate socialists, I’m just hating them back!

  2. Anyone miss this exchange it is worth listening to. Angry Andy and Sean Plunket. Sean stops the interview with the comment that he doesn’t know what is wrong with this minister and why he won’t do something.

Andrew Little has fiery debate with Sean Plunket over ‘right to silence’ laws
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/02/andrew-little-has-fiery-debate-with-sean-plunket-over-right-to-silence-laws.html?ref=ves-vid4

“I have found this conversation one of the most disappointing with any serving minister in my life,” Plunket says.

“The fact that you have made it personal and thrown personal insults about a matter this is so grossly disturbing to so many New Zealanders is incredibly disappointing.”

    • Plunket’s heart is ruling his head (and mouth) on this one.
If you value a right to silence as a protection for the innocent then you don’t care about a child bashed to death (or nearly so)?
Plunket has an attack of lefty logic and I wish him a speedy recovery.
There’s a first time for everything – I’m with Little.

      • Agree with you Harvey.
This whole saga reminds me of the provocation debate when Simon Power and National had a kneejerk reaction to one murder trial .
They should never have changed that law.

        8

        1

      • Yes Harvey I totally agree with you. I phoned Sean directly after his piece with Little and told him that even though I disagree with Little’s politics, I think he’s right on this one.

Sean is a good listen…. but sometimes he becomes a Maori hugger and now he wants to change our long held law on the right to silence.

        9

        1

        • Yes I’ve been disappointed by Plunkett’s race to the bottom approach on this one.

The right to a child’s safe upbringing is not enhanced by removing our rights. Yes – I know it exists in some jurisdictions – but that’s just childish “so-whatism”.

The answer to these issues are always on the prevention side of the equation and not on the ‘ranting outraged parent wanting blood while brandishing a pitchfork’ slide down in to woke socialism.

Sure a violent death by boiling in oil while their entrails are dragged out through their sex organs would be too good for the loving aroha-filled whanau that bashed that poor child – but didn’t we move a little bit past that emotional state when we stopped wearing furs?

It’s time to have a parenting drivers licence – fail it once when pregnant – child is removed. Fail it again – permanent sterilisation. Now THAT would be putting children’s interests first.

And when you compare it to the rest of the left wing agenda – ie we’d like to go back to pre-fire stone age levels of civilisation so we can achieve our Zero carbon legislated objective – my solution seems extraordinarily sane.

      • I’d be more inclined to use existing powers to exert a little pressure:
I imagine a police presence outside the house to protect the suspects from vigilante action might result in a few lifestyle changes for those living there.
Everyone who was at that house during the child’s torture is a person of interest in a violent crime.
Any other children in the care of any these people should be removed in the best interests of the children and not returned until the caregivers can prove they are fit.
All benefits for children no longer in their care can be halted immediately until the children are returned.
Oranga Tamariki need to tell Tariana Turia and her fellow sideline snipers to get off their entitled brown asses and support the kids with some clear consequences being delivered to delinquent adults.
Why are maori children only taonga after they’ve been neglected and abused?

  3. Winnie blocking the Greens after lobbying by farmers who tell him electric won’t cut it on the farm.

Controversial low-emission vehicle subsidy scheme blocked by NZ First
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/02/controversial-low-emission-vehicle-subsidy-scheme-blocked-by-nz-first.html

“The reality is we cannot go forward with the guzzlers we’ve got now,” Winston Peters said in July 2019.

But now his party’s blocking the policy after lobbying from the rural sector. That’s despite Peters originally saying this:

“It won’t affect 70 percent of the vehicles in this country for a start and most certainly not the 400,000-plus tat are out servicing rural New Zealand.”

That’s because the policy only affects imports under it. Low-emission vehicles like electric ones would be discounted by up to $8000.

  5. Why won’t the UK government release the Muslim Child Abuse report?

News breaks that the report on why so much rape of English white female children is carried out by organised gangs of muslim Pakistani rapers across the UK but especially in Rochdale Lancashire- aided and abetted by the Police – is being kept secret by the UK Home Office.

Couldn’t possibly have anything to do with the abrupt resignation of Rochdale-born-to a Pakistani family ex Home Office head Sajid Javed last week?

The theme that has kept on surfacing throughout gradual emergence of the ever expanding scandal is that – the cops, in their efforts to be all Diversity conscious (remember Diversity! It’s the new stupid) – didn’t want to investigate the Pakistani Muslim rape accusation from white girls, because they didn’t want to DO THEIR FUCKING JOBS seem racist.

Maybe the Home Office, who funds the cops, are holding back the report that explains how the industrialised rape of young white girls is a Pakistani Muslim problem – because they don’t want to appear racist! And who has been shouting from the rooftops about this for years – Tommy Robinson, that’s who – no wonder they had to throw him in prison!

Anyone with half a brain knows that if the powers that be can’t keep this issue suppressed, then it has to be incredibly widespread to be continually seeping up into reporting. I think this shit all links back to the deep rot within the UK establishment with systematic child abuse, systematically covered up by the powerful masonic brotherhood within the police force to protect the deeply degenerate members of the political elites who like raping little boys and girls. Speaking of the masons – anyone know how simpering Cindy got funded through her degree in wokeness at Waikato University?

  6. Many good points there DP. as it shows one of the tools used against civilization.

An interesting point of view, and like the curates egg, good in parts, saying things that are not always acknowledged.

commissions murdered the “enemies of the people” and their families and deprived them ……
    – the creators of the great Utopia destroyed everything that was associated with traditional values, ideals and virtues.
    .
Nowadays no one seems to remember it. The Left will not benefit from those memories; the Right dreads accusations of whitewashing Nazism. ….
    .
…. Utopia choked on blood in …..
    .
…. Only one thing has remained unchanged: the passionate faith of the Western elite in perverted Utopian
In the 21st century, once again the world has entered a vicious cycle of revolution and reaction. The reaction has already begun. Terror of loners, attacks on mosques and synagogues, atrocities in Utøya, Christchurch, Galle and now Hanau are its first signs. ……
    .
It was predictable, explainable and logical. ……… into “people of the highest sort”. They became the ‘proletariat’ of modern times and in sharp contrast, ‘white straight males’ became the symbol of repression, racism and violence, ‘the new world enemy’.
    .
……. reaction to violent fanatical implantation of Utopia, regardless of how it’s labeled: Marxism, Globalism, Progressivism, Multiculturalism, Political Correctness, Intersectionality, Political Identity, Cultural Diversity or Tikkun Olam. They are all the same. It is reaction to Antifa, BLM, Islamic terror, Muslim culture of raping and bullying.
    .
Loner psychosis is a precursor of mass psychosis. “Red Plague” generates a “Brown Plague.” ……
    .
….. time is approaching, because the soil has already been fertilized for them by the progressives.

Because of the globalists and progressives the Western world is plunging into chaos and hatred. Only a small group of lucky people will get the next Mannerheim.

The carriers of New Utopias are by far more guilty for wronging their people and history than their predecessors with red flags in Bavaria and Hungary.
    .
…… the current progressives have inherited healthy, stable, and prosperous communities. Essentially all the flaws and shortcomings of the past were eliminated or nearly eliminated: discrimination of national and sexual minorities and women, social ulcers, industrial lumpen and mass poverty.
    .
By carrying out the program of ethnic substitution by mass migration from Third (especially, Muslim) world and by destroying cultural and religious values of their people, the globalists don’t demolish dying, rotten regimes, instead they bulldoze successful democratic states.
    .
…… But Corbyn, Sanders, Obama, Trudeau, Elizabeth Warren, Mélenchon, Kamala Harris, Juncker or Macron are not idealists.
These are hypocritical plutocrats and manipulators of consciousness, craving for power and glory.
    .
And finally, third and most important. Marxism grew out of Utopian communism, rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition: from Jewish prophets, Essenes and early Christians to Thomas Müntzer and the Anabaptists, the Illuminati of Adam Weishaupt, Thomas More and Tommaso Campanella, Saint-Simon, Charles Fourier and Robert Owen.
    .
Their views (no matter how we evaluate them) were based solely on Western culture itself. They had nothing to do with the archaic, primitive and cruel cults of backward peoples ……
    .
……. Transgression of human nature yields violence and monsters – three monsters in our case: Red, Brown and Green ones. Prosperous, stable and tolerant communities have been replaced by Red-Green Hydra, on the one hand, and a Werewolf, on the other.
    .
However, who is Newton to dictate the laws to a progressive-minded person? No more than a Dead White European Male…

    http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/25237

A man of the hour? or will a devil be conjured up?
Can the traditional values, even if refined prevail, or are they just weak and will bow down to any wind, like creating “hate speech” “hate crime” “denialist crimes” human rights commissioners, chief censors, race relations conciliators, using judiciary &, police with academia, media, politicians to further fragment social cohesion, creating a division of identities, to gain further control.

    • Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, don’t have any of the “so-called globalists and progressive” curses of:
      – Mass immigration of progressive-hating peoples from countries of low average IQ levels
      – Degeneration of traditional family values (especially in the media and through State policy)
      – Degeneration of traditional religious values
      – Attacks on temples and shrines

And yet, the birth rates in all three of these nations is well below replacement level (they are aging and dying).

I think we are missing something.

        • Japanese houses in the post-War era were small (i.e., English-sized) and they still managed large families (by today’s standards).
Here’s a good English video on middle-class social housing in Japan. Could such programs work in Auckland, (or are they predicated on having a relatively intelligent, ethical, law-abiding community that has a minimal sense of entitlement, no greviances, and with a common desire to “build the nation”?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ave4FiC2k8I&t=249s
In other words, without such societal traits, such housing projects would likely degenarate into slums.

      • Odakyu-sen – that was a bloody good point.

I’ve been pondering that side of the equation for a while and I think it is not a sign of decline in those “Religion of Peace” and “Woketardery” free countries that birth rates are declining.

All the crazy, kiddy-fucking global elites have one thing right – life on Earth would be a lot sweeter if there was about 1/3 the global population. I think in the countries you are referring to – they are just “right-sizing” in preparation for the Zombie apocalypse that is going to be unleashed – the impending Dark Age I referred to earlier – by the decline of the once great Western civilisation. We’re at the cusp of the point where childbirth is going to be an anachronism anyway – gene technology is only a hop and step away from designing the Human 2.0 version of the species.

The barbarian migratory herds did for Rome – looks like Soros and his cunch of bunts globalist mates just want to see everything burn before they die.

        • life on Earth would be a lot sweeter if there was about 1/3 the global population.

I totally disagree with you there. The health, nourishment, length of life and general wellbeing of humans has never been better – and it goes hand-in-hand with the growth of our population.

Sure, there are problems created by rogue states and systems and psychopathic religions etc… but there’s no evidence at all to say that there are ‘too many people’ on the earth.

Yes there are slums. But every year these slums get better and people lift themselves out of poverty. London in 1750 probably resembled Bombay today, with no running water and people shitting in the streets; and its a fact that, worldwide, increases in population have lead to wonderful life-enhancing progress rather than the other way around.

I think the mindset that ‘there are too many people on the planet’ is a sign that we have given up. Don’t buy into it. It’s simply not true IMHO.

        • People think that “Japan is crowded.”
          It is, and it isn’t.
Here’s a analogy. Imagine New Zealand as having two giant Aucklands (one in Auckland and one in Wellington) where most of the industrial and commercial flat land is, along with the capital, the cultural centers, the government, and the major institutions. The rest of the country is nothing much more than “Huntleys” and “Taumarunuis.”
All the Huntleys in Japan (and the surrounding communities) have been bleeding their youth to the “Aucklands” (Osaka and Tokyo) for the last 50 years.
You will be amazed at the number of abandoned houses in the Huntleys of Japan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LzA1K3Q_5k

      • They have and I think still do have a freedom to leave and go to other countries. Becuase of the entrenched work all day and night pollices that seem to be part of the culture its reasonable to assume that many of the younger people who waited to get better jobs decided to leave.Hence the young leaving and the older dying. China and India are on the brink of a similar problem. In China their one child policy meant they now have many men and no ladies so the men are keen to leave to anywhere there is a chinese population with marriageable women.
India’s culture means that boys were favoured, so girls were/are aborted. So again Indian men are leaving to find love. They like maori girls if its any help, and they don’t bash them around. quite a few round our way.

      • I do not know what we are missing, and how and when it will change.

Not having the first child until 30, and not wanting the change in lifestyle that children bring about.

The missing part is what will make her move to this concept, of even just 3-4 children.

Extinction Rebellion green concept is for zero has been pushed for a number of years.

Economics, taxes, lifestyle, work commitments, a sense of power, space, security,
A sense of responsibility, for doing the best for a child, in education, health,

The lower birth rate can go along for a few decades, but then will catch up the effect of demographics.
However a woman, taking the age of fertility from say 20 to 50, on average, is capable of having at least a dozen children or more, so there could still be a rapid change.

Rearing children, can be seen as a sacrifice, and also seen as rewarding.
Some use to see it as a duty, a virtue signal, and the signal has changed to zero; for now.

Takes 2 to tango, and the commitment of father & mother, Is that balance in or out of balance?

Is it a sense of some doctrination? not to have children?
Do people need a “faith” and in what?
Is it because men do not want to become husbands & fathers?

        https://sciencenorway.no/birth-family-planning-population/record-low-birth-rates-in-norway-finland-and-iceland/1642832

If land was going back to wilderness, does it matter?
        So why have immigration?
Communities with new technology, and now with AI also meant that there will be far fewer jobs, and more productivity.

Well we live in interesting time, life is to be lived, and not to worry too much. Is that the problem? 🙂

Thanks for rural house video Odakyu-sen, and the mention is about a better place to bring up children, than the city.

  8. With mass immigration destroying so many countries, I think its important to consider where the problem lays.

I do not hold it against people that they seek to uplift their circumstances by immigrating to new lands. This is how many successful nations began.

The problem lays within the host nation itself. People born into privilege are selling out what, they did not build, in order to distinguish themselves as uniquely virtuous.

The immigrants are not invaders. They are ussured in the front door as guests.

Personally, I’m pro immigration, but believe its wise to pick and choose who a country let’s in. Yes diversity is good, but not in all cases. I don’t care about race or religion. Rather skills and attitude are more important.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/02/most-benefit-sanctions-applied-to-m-ori-figures-show.html

New figures released to RNZ show 437 sanctions were applied against people with children in 2018, with over 80 percent of those sanctions applied against Māori.

The sanction reduces the income of a beneficiary with children by half if they don’t get the warrant cleared within 10 days of being told by the Ministry of Social Development, which is after the warrant has remained outstanding for 28 days.

“Cutting the income of whānau with children by 50 percent for reasons unrelated to those children and tamariki is absolutely morally outrageous,” Auckland University of Technology associate professor of law Khylee Quince said.

    • But she could always not bloody turn up with the family in town looking for photo ops!
After all there will be a shitload of police armed to the teeth doing street patrols, snipers in all the high positions, gun trucks roaming the local roads, even a gunship in the sky!
It may not have happened if the Comrade had not personally changed the gun license law which enabled Branton Tarrant to buy his guns after the police stuffed up and broke the law by giving him a license!

    • Piers Morgan rages at Harry and Meghan’s ‘staggering disrespect’ to the Queen
      https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/entertainment/2020/02/piers-morgan-rages-at-harry-and-meghan-s-staggering-disrespect-to-the-queen.html

“Why are you putting the Queen through all this extra stress when she’s 93, her 98-year-old husband Philip has been very sick, & she’s had to fire her son Andrew over a huge ongoing scandal?”

Following the pair’s decision to step down from their roles, Morgan called the couple a “pathetic joke”.
The Good Morning Britain host also mocked the pair’s decision to limit traditional media access, favouring younger journalists and social media.

“I chuckled with disbelief as I read this. Even Vladimir Putin wouldn’t pull a stunt to control the press like that.”

Lets see what is happening over sea’s. We can fortell the future.
Tesla’s Cybertruck was revealed at the end of 2019, and it’s still garnering a good amount of attention. Now, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Canada have conceptualized the vehicle as a potential police car, and it’s getting quite popular.

The Ontario police shared their vision on a Twitter post, asking Elon Musk to help them decide whether they should opt for the Cybertruck, or for a Tesla Model X.
n California, where Tesla is based, the Fremont Police Department opted for the Tesla Model S as their patrol car.

Luxemburg’s police also converted two Model S Tesla sedans into patrol vehicles. Not too far away on the map, Switzerland has the largest fleet of Tesla police cars.

So, OPP’s question over which Tesla model to use as a patrol car isn’t all that out of the blue. It’s not been made clear whether or not they’ve already been using their Tesla Model X police vehicle concept, released two years ago.

Never mind we could use toyota landcruizers with a jail on the back. House them out after the passengers shit and spew in them.
Happens in our poilce cars here now.
Bloody hard to clean the old holdens. would be what one could call “a shit of a job” Hazmat suits and all. Yep we have dirty fucking crims in NZ.

    • The front line cops are probably breathing a sigh of relief that Holden have finally handed in the towel. The doggies were getting moved out of their Holden utes & into, of all things, modified Holden Captivas previously badged as a Daewoo.

The bloody pieces of crap couldn’t have pulled a sick boy off his sister but were considered a front line response vehicle!

  16. John Armstrong’s opinion: Jacinda Ardern’s refusal to reprimand Winston Peters is nothing short of disgraceful
    John Armstrong, Columnist

Jacinda Ardern’s craven refusal to reprimand Winston Peters is nothing short of disgraceful — and utterly and incontestably so.

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/john-armstrongs-opinion-jacinda-ardern-s-refusal-reprimand-winston-peters-nothing-short-disgraceful

The Prime Minister’s adoption of a “do nothing” stratagem which has her turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to the chaos which otherwise goes by the name of “New Zealand First” is both reprehensible and indefensible.

Above all — and perhaps most intolerable of all — Ardern’s insistence that the constant and never changing diet of trials, tribulations and troubles afflicting Labour’s coalition partner have nothing to do with her and are for New Zealand First and New Zealand First alone to rectify amounts to an abdication on her part of the responsibilities that come with occupancy of the highest office in the land.

Her imposing a “hear no evil, see no evil” blanket ban on her saying anything at all about Peters’ behaviour and that of his party is quite remarkable, however.
    1 NEWS
Composite image of Winston Peters and Jacinda Ardern. Source: 1 NEWS

It is also foolhardy. It constrains her flexibility to respond to further crises which — and you can bet your bottom dollar on it — will erupt and embroil New Zealand First this side of the election.
Such a stance will likely to be taken by Peters as license to cause more mayhem. It makes Ardern look feeble. By not exercising her authority, she is allowing Peter to drain it.

  17. Why do Māori suffer inequality in the health system? One expert says it’s ‘white privilege’
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/119627680/why-do-maori-suffer-inequality-in-the-health-system-some-experts-say-its-white-privilege

White privilege my arse! That’s just chucking racism around as an excuse. So take responsibility for your health: Change your lifestyle as appropriate, stop drinking, smoking, drug taking, lose weight, eat healthy food, take medications as prescribed, keep scheduled medical appointments, follow the recommendations from your medical doctors. etc. Don’t blame the system before you look after your own health.

    12

    • I felt the same way too, about the points you bring up waikatogirl.

Being stoic, not only maori, but presenting late, or too late, is another issue.

There is much support for maori if they chose it, and it is work & commitment to apply to themselves.

However there is the lobster pull back into the pot, that seems ingrained to believe there is a better gain in staying in the self sacrificing “victimhood” pot.

It all becomes “if only”, but is a finger pointing exercise of virtue signalling self righteousness.

      6

      0

    • If it such an issue don’t say you are Maori, don’t ask for extra shit because you are Maori, just be a NZer? Seems simple.

      8

      0

      • RM, exactly.

But in fact Maori have more options not less. The victim/blame culture is holding Maori back. They need Trump to come and show them how to win.

        7

        0

    • If you come from a culture where you are brought up in the belief that:
      – “we are the victims”
      – “the ___________ did this to us”
      – “you can’t get ahead in the system because…”
      – “the deck is stacked against you”
      – “listen to your elders; they know best”
      – “the most important thing in the world is your family–protect them at all costs, even through unethical means”
      – “education is a waste of time; it won’t make a difference”
      – “don’t show your friends in a bad light by doing better than them in school”
      – “don’t ask questions”
      – “we suffer because of the prejudice of the __________”
      – “don’t trust the __________”
      – “the __________ can never understand us”

      What hope is there?

      9

      0

        • Actually, a lot of this could apply to traditional Japanese (except the bit about scholarship), but particularly the bit about “gaijin just can’t understand us.”

I don’t think the Japanese think of themselves as “losers.” The mindset is something like, “Ok. We lost. But we’re not losers.” (Chumbawamba’s – “Tubthumping” lyrics come to mind.) There is a certain empathic harmonic going on between Japanese (particularly from Osaka) and the northern English. It’s weird!

        • Kea, you’re going to love this.

A couple of decades ago, a popular genre in the Japanese best-seller list was something along the lines of “the Japanese are one of the lost Jewish tribes” or “check out this connection between traditional Japanese and Jewish culture,” etc.

Irish drug dealer loses Bitcoin codes to his $91.5 million fortune
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/world/2020/02/irish-drug-dealer-loses-bitcoin-codes-to-his-91-5-million-fortune.html

In early 2017, Collins, 49, had a dilemma of where to hide the Bitcoin codes to his illicit fortune. He came up with the idea to print them on an A4 piece of paper and hide it in the cap of a fishing rod case in his rented home in Cornamona, County Galway, the Irish Times reports.

Not that the virus didn’t originate in the wet market but probably in the bio weapons lab less that 300 metres down the road, that news has been fairly common knowledge for at least two weeks among those who have been paying attention, but that the CCP propaganda rag the Global Times would almost admit it.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/02/burlesque-performer-s-risqu-outfit-at-napier-s-art-deco-festival-causes-outrage-online.html

Alesha Hunt, 32, who goes by the show name Cherry Boomb, walked the streets during the Vintage Car Parade dressed as the Spirit of Napier statue.

The gold statue depicts a nude woman with her arms above her head and is a symbol of Napier rising from the ashes of the 1931 earthquake.

“I have no words at all to describe my disgust that Art Deco and all that is wonderful about Deco Napier has come down to this shocking, crude, deplorable and disgusting display,” one person wrote.

There were some comments supporting Hunt, including one person who says her outfit was done “tastefully and classily” and it represented the Spirit of Napier statue well.

Mexican drug cartels Sinaloa and CJNG could try to corrupt NZ Customs and police – report

The New Zealand Drug Intelligence Bureau has warned two of the world’s biggest drug cartels could be trying to infiltrate our police and Customs services to corrupt their staff.

In 2019, Newshub broke the story about El Chapo’s Sinaloa Cartel, the likely group behind big methamphetamine and cocaine shipments coming to New Zealand.

Now there is confirmation that the Sinaloa and Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) Mexican crime groups are supplying drugs to New Zealand, and police say they even have members working in Aotearoa as go-betweens with local gangs.

    • A world simulation 3 months earlier has parallels to the current coronavirus.

A slow response can lead to a large outbreak
The Event 201 scenario — the brainchild of researchers at the Johns Hopkins Centre for Health Security — was designed to test our global preparedness in the face of a severe pandemic.

They are quick to note that the simulation was in no way a prediction of the events that would follow it, and the inputs used for modelling the potential impact of the fictional virus are not similar to the current outbreak.

The deadly coronavirus is spreading across the globe, with no end in sight — here is a timeline of key events so far and what to expect next.
However, according to Dr Eric Toner, who worked on the simulation, there are some parallels. ,,,,,

      https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-02-01/coronavirus-outbreak-researchers-simulated-severe-pandemic/11906562

      So still much to learn.
How much will it effect the economics of countries, whilst trying to cope & combat the pandemic. when we have become so intertwined, for resources & goods.
