  1. “Car hits crowd at carnival in German town of Volkmarsen; dozens injured”

I know this happened in Germany, but nonetheless Cindy MUST ACT NOW. The problem is whether to ban all cars, or just Mercedes. Or maybe just petrol-powered Mercedes. I expect she’ll fly home from drinking kava with Frank to make the announcement wearing a nice dirndl and hugging a pedestrian.

    • A Mercedes car of peace driven by a “German” citizen. Tells us nearly all we need to know don’t you think? The only thing we need to be told now is when do the mass deportations start?

  2. I see Liarbour have got a new plan to reduce the native prison population. Go on a hunger strike, wanting something, anything, so bloody stupid, that corrections on instructions from special K and be released.

This is just a stupid idea. With no chance of getting what they are demanding while going on a hunger strike, can you see any whitey being released under the same policy?
Nah neither can I but it is a sure fire way of getting the prisons emptied of all his cussies. Only another 8000 to go.

    • They had to let him go, the Ihumamato bunch will put him up as leader and announce a new party to stand for the election. Oh wait, he wants a separate maori parliament. Corrections blinked, they let him out as didn’t want a dead maori in prison.

Shaw has a long-running history with the state, having been uplifted from his mother as a 9-year-old. He has spent hte last four decades in and out of prison with one of his most infamous crimes being the arson of the Rangiātea Church in Ōtaki – then New Zealand’s oldest Māori church – in 1995.

“I never broke our laws. I broke theirs and I will continue to do it,” Shaw told Te Ao.

“I’m not going to be accountable to [a] thieving, parasitic, racist, capitalist criminal justice system that does harm to our families, to our communities.”

    • Civil disobedience works.

Protest on someone else’s land and the Govt will buy it for you if you are Brown enough.

Don’t like being in jail after committing a lifetime of crime… go on a hunger strike.

This is the most pro -crime Govt (?) in the history of NZ.
It is a reversal of all previous logic.
Golf lessons for terrorists (not the white ones) .

No wonder gang membership is up.
The barriers to entry have been smashed down like the Berlin wall in 1989.

This is in part due to ‘colonisation !!
Some bad people went to colonise Australia and commit crime in a stronger market.
      Market forces and all.
They were caught and sent back by an anti- crime AU Govt.
They were 501’d back to pro-crime NZ.

      Oh Joy.

      “Lets do it”

      From the above newshub link;
“All my crimes have been decent crimes … nothing devious about them.
For us and where we’re from, we judge crime like this: if you’ve done a burglary, stole a car, shot somebody, stabbed somebody… any of these things, they’re all decent,” Shaw told the outlet.

      Lets do “decent crimes”!

Probably at least 75% honky and therefore self-loathing.

I had at glance at the Stuffed lies.

These journo filth are disgusting to write this garbage when there are truly starving and emaciated people in the world.
You will find this e.g. in Yemen today.

The sick bastards of the media are right into lying off the bat in election year.
This critter is a criminal and should be regarded as such.
This crim hugging makes me sick.

  3. Harvey Weinstein found guilty.
I am surprised given the ‘quality’ of witnesses.
Most of the activity was ‘transactional’
Most of the ‘victims’ ended up with careers that lasted for more than a lucrative decade – enough time to get themselves set up.

Anyhow, it is a good thing he is Jewish and not a white man.
We cant have another convicted toxic whiter male added to the ledger against ‘us’ 🙂

One has to ask if he is on Hillary’s shit list and will he go the way of Jeffrey Epstein?

Hell, I had heard about the ‘casting couch’ in lil ol’ Enzed before I was 15 yo.
That was decades ago and long before the internet.
Certainly the 1940s and 1950s were oiled by this activity esp with the contract system.
There was no event to stop this.
For Hollyweird and the lying media to pretend this was not happening all this time is extremely disingenuous.
Still, we cannot rely on either for truth.

    14

    • I agree that I found it odd, and my wife did too, that ‘casting couch’ behaviour was considered rape
I thought this was mutual benefit exchange, by women every bit as cynical.
As Dave Chappelle said: “They sucked a dick, and got buyers remorse” (eventually).
I loath the MeToo bandwagon and what it became for a while.
      BUT;
Looks like aside from creepy misuse of position of power, the guy genuinely forced himself on people and assaulted them too, if these charges were those which were proven.
Thinking upon it – Not a big leap for an arrogant man like that to think he can just take with force now and then, See this specific RAPE list:

      • His readership aren’t buying it. Love some of the comments.
        e.g;
…..So you’d vote for a candidate you claim will cause millions of job losses (meaning millions of Americans descending into poverty) over the current president, who you claim can’t uphold the rule of law properly? Until trump does something actually really bad (rather than just spouting rhetoric) I’d prefer we all have jobs thanks!….

….Yep essentially millions could end up broke homeless or dead but orange man bad so sacrifices must be made for the common good eh comrade….

        …It’s official.
DPF is a nutter when it comes to Trump.
So nuts that he prefers economic disaster and millions of jobs losses to Trump.
        His words.
        Political pundit indeed!….

….Every time DPF pontificates on Trump his credibilty as a pundit dwindles. Trump is a dick but he doesn’t pose an existential threat to the USA and when he gets re-elected in November he’ll be gone in four years. Voting for Bernie… you’ve just got to laugh. Baby brain?….

…I suspect David is suffering from what is laughably called ‘beltway syndrome’ in New Zealand: He needs to get out of Wellington more often and meet some real people with real jobs, not just Wellingtonians who mostly just suck off the tit of the taxpayer…..

    • I wont read the fruity frittering of Farrar
(spell check suggests farrar is an error and to try Arafat.. there is an angle !)

What I will point out is that ‘The Burn’ was the front runner in 2016 and the Demoncrats (in an undemocratic way) Arkancided his running for the Prez.
      lest we forget
      Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Don’t forget Donna Brazile and Podesta and Palmieri
Democrats would make a Talley fish processing plant smell like heaven in comparison.

My suspicion – based on assumptions only- is that the Electorate is so sick of the scalping and extreme richness of the likes of smug Bezos, Gates, Zuckerberg and Sandberg and the Google Billionaires telling them what to think that they are rebelling against the Digital Barons and backing the ‘inclusive’ message The Burn socialist delivers.

  5. We must not under estimate the power of the elite academic authoritarians.
Although a ‘Euro’ article, it covers Western Civilization and the Aussie cattleman commentator captures its intent very well.

~ Minority groups claim “safe spaces”, but the ones who really need safe spaces are those who disgree with the reigning orthodoxy.

~ An appeal by some French intellectuals, including many Muslim thinkers such as Boualem Sansal and Zineb el Rhazoui, criticized this “intellectual terrorism.”

~ Free expression is not needed for “politically correct” or sedative speech, but it is the only protection the minority has from the tyranny of the majority.

~ “[T]he freedom of Speech may be taken away — and, dumb & silent we may be led, like sheep, to the Slaughter.” — US President George Washington, 1783.

~ The European [Western] university — which should be the home of open pluralism, debate, research and thought — has instead become the paradise of intellectual sectarianism and terror.
This new radicalism will reinforce not only political correctness, but also submission to coercion in the West.

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/15156/europe-academic-fascism
    Also some good comments.

It may seem to be only a small number of people with silly ideas, wielding the stick of Political Correctness, Multiculturalism, so they persistently wear down, break down, and splinter the large herd into manageable & controllable sections, for its own nefarious controlling purposes.

  6. Yesterday I made the mistake of picking up a copy of the NZ Herald which was in a client’s lunchroom.

The first article I saw (the front page wasn’t worth reading) was a huge photo of sexual perverts and people with serious mental illness (the ‘rainbow community’) parading their dogs around a park in Ponsonby (obviously).

Flipping the page I was treated to a bunch of Maori women blaming the mental illnesses, failure and criminality of their children on ‘colonisation’!

Seriously. This is what we have come to as a society.

  7. I see the guy who referred to ‘chick scientists’ in the debate about whitebaiting ,is now being harrassed and Southland F& G may ask him to resign.

His remarks were spot on but these days you can’t tell the truth without getting pillaried.

    17

    0

    • That loud mouth won’t believe anything “chick scientists” say, until the day he pulls his whitebait net out and it’s got one little fish in it.

Then it will take the fishery maybe 50 years to recover, and he’ll probably blame “chick scientists” for that too.

Let the population crash. The right of the chosen few to go whitebaiting is rusted on, no man or “chick” can remove it, only nature can do that…

      3

      1

      • Agree. They were some dumbassed comments, from anyone in a public sphere that wants to be taken seriously – sexist or not it was dumb.
This is pure bollocks as representing their argument, or his skills at reading comphrehension:
…” I sat there one day and I thought; ‘what I’m listening to is a whole bunch of chick scientists’ – and if you really looked at the view that they were pitching – [it] was everybody in New Zealand should not shave their armpits, they should wear dreadlocks, and when they go whitebaiting they should do it in jandals only. And after they catch one patty for tea they should sit down hold hands and sing kumbaya.”
        That’s the Doc policy?
Talk about a fail of ‘play the ball, not the man’.
        Where’s the fucking ball?
His comments would be good for talking light-hearted shit over a beer with your mates, but if he is seriously trying to resist policy like this then Fish and Game should show him the door as a representative.
I mean, good God – he isn’t doing stand up.

    • A few ups & downs financially, as research, setting up, etc.
Looks like the white bait can be pulled back from extinction. 🙂

NZ Premium Whitebait was formed in 2014, predominantly by Māori interests, to commercially farm whitebait after the know-how was developed at the Mahurangi Technical Institute in Warkworth to enable whitebait, the juveniles of five species of fish, to be reintroduced into streams affected by Auckland’s Northern Motorway extension.

It produced its first commercial harvest from its Warkworth base of about one tonne in 2016 in a season

  9. Hannah Tamaki fires Jevan Goulter after ‘disgusting’ post about Kanoa Lloyd
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/entertainment/2020/02/hannah-tamaki-fires-jevan-goulter-after-disgusting-post-about-kanoa-lloyd.html

During a segment on The Project on Monday night, Kanoa responded to unconfirmed rumours of Hannah Tamaki’s addition to the cast of Dancing With The Stars NZ, saying her “xenophobic and homophobic” views are “properly dangerous”.

In response, Jevan used Facebook to label Kanoa a “rancid rotton [sic] stuffed pig with blood pouring out of her eyes” and said she should “show NZ what voluntary euthanasia looks like”.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Hannah said she would “never condone that disgusting language and behaviour.”

  10. According to JAG all will be well with lower speeds on our roads. The speed limit on this road has already been lowered but there was still a fatal accident.
    Condolences to the family.

Two boys orphaned after horror Cambridge crash kills parents
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/02/two-boys-orphaned-after-horror-cambridge-crash-kills-parents.html?ref=ves-nextauto

A 9-month-old baby and an 11-year-old boy are orphans after a horrific crash near Cambridge.

Baby Eli is in Waikato Hospital having survived the crash that killed his mother and father. His half-brother Riley, was not in the crash.

Riley’s mother Brenda and step-father Chris were travelling on Cambridge Road on Saturday evening when their car collided with a truck.

      • This fucking annoys me, in my neck of the woods the 100km was brilliant and the sheeple used to cruise along at 90km, now that the speed limit has been reduced to 80km in certain (most) parts, the snowflakes (shall we call them) are now traveling at 65 to 70km on that same road that used to be 100km.
On my part, there is a certain amount of road rage boiling up at times that one wonders why the fuck have we got safe new cars !~

        6

        0

        • Here in Phuket, most of the roads are marked 50KMH. The minimum speed required to keep in the flow is 90-100. Even the old codgers riding their sidecarts, talking on cellphones, wifey, grandchildren, dog, couple of chickens and a 2 seater couch manage to keep up! It truly is a sight to behold.

          5

          0

        • Lowering the speeds on every road is ridiculous. Anyone else remember when the speeds used to be 80kms on the open road and all urban areas were 50kms. Someone had the brilliant thought to treat us drivers as adults and as the roads had improved and we had more modern, safe vehicles the speeds were raised to 100kms on the open roads. Slowly our road speeds have been eroded by JAG. Accidents happen, it is most definitely not always due to speed.

          3

          0

          • Wrong.
The speed limit was 60 mph then became 100 km/hr in the early 70s.
During the oil shock of the 1970s it was lowered …to conserve fuel.
It was years before it was raised back up. Somewhere well into the 1980s.

            3

            0

            • Good on your memory being better than mine howitis, and thanks for the reminder. I just couldn’t remember the details. Point is, roads are better, cars are overall much safer but we are being treated like we don’t have a brain to control our driving so the authoritarian JAG will do it for us.

              5

              0

        • Becuase safe new cars are not safe new cars. Weigh less, go quicker, crunch up much more, shorter in the front so that you get to the accident faster, And you have to be cut out of then so you have to wait for the firries to get to you.
          Its an urban myth.

          1

          0

          • Wrong
The old cars had solid steel chassis.
These were to preserve the car and let the people inside bounce around.
Now they have crumple zones where the car takes impact in stages to preserve the people.
This has been so for about 40 years.

            3

            0

    • If you were to reduce the speed limit by 50% (for example), it’d take you twice as long to get anywhere. So you’d be on the road for twice as long, and therefore there’d be twice as many cars on the road at any given time. Throw in some impatient drivers (guilty at times). How does that make anything safer?

  11. Concerns over secret fisheries donations to NZ First Foundation
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/concerns-over-secret-fisheries-donations-nz-first-foundation

One of the country’s biggest fishing companies, Talley’s, and its managing director donated nearly $27,000 to the New Zealand First Foundation, which has been bankrolling the New Zealand First Party.

Talley’s also donated to the Foundation during the 2017 election year, making a donation of $7450 on 25 May, 2017.

As well as donating to the foundation, Talley’s made a $10,000 candidate donation to NZ First Cabinet Minister Shane Jones in 2017 and another $2000 donation to fellow NZ First MP Fletcher Tabuteau. Those donations were declared.

Talley’s donated a total of $40,000 to eight other candidates during the 2017 election campaign – seven from the National Party and one from Labour – giving each of them $5000. All eight donations were disclosed by the respective candidates.

Peter Talley refused to comment when contacted by RNZ.

He had previously told RNZ the donations were “none of your business”.

The South Korean goverment has hit the Panic Button and have closed all kindergartens and elementary schools for a week, among other actions. Opera and soccer matches are being postponed or cancelled.

(I’ll be in Japan at the end of May for a couple of weeks, and I hope that I will be able to return to New Zealand without any problems.)

    • You should be okay Odakyu-sen.

There’s a group of us rural dwellers who are planning on using the likely pandemic to turn Auckland into a quarantine city. The road to Northland will be sealed at the Puhoi tunnel & fortifications will be erected at the top of the Bombay Hills. This will have the dual advantages of containing coronavirus & raising the average IQ of the rest of NZ.

The City of Sails will become the Kiwi version of Hotel California. 🙂

      • I was at the gym today (for the first time in almost a month). It’s amazing how you lose fitness so quickly when you’re in your late 50s! (Pain is going to be my best friend for the next month…)

Anyway, I couldn’t help but overhear a pair of middle-aged somethings talk about how they would dearly like to be able to escape Auckand and live in the provinces, but that all the money, good food and work is in Auckland.

I am going to enjoy the relative cheaper prices of Tokyo and Yokohama in May. Auckland bar prices are obscene. One innovation that some bars in Tokyo have is an all-you-can-drink option (cheap tap beer only) for around $NZ30 that lasts for about 2 hours. (This arrangement could not possibly work in East Auckland, and would cause rioting in South Auckland and civil disorder in West Auckland. As for North Auckland, I have no idea…)

        • The biggest problem with the rich is that they are such great colonisers. In South Wairarapa Martinborough became famous for its wine & Greytown became famous for being famous.

The end result was the dismantling of normal life in both townships as property prices boomed & the new residents set about turning their newly discovered rural paradises into the over regulated, snobby, cafe ridden hellholes they escaped from.

The other thing that escapes me is what they actually achieved.

  13. What the heck is Veganuary?
Nice job by this butcher to reverse the trend.

Butcher, 36, is selling meaty ‘carrots’ made with minced pork because he is so fed up with vegans naming food after meat (and they are a huge hit with customers!)

‘I don’t know if veganism is a fad or not, but I haven’t noticed a drop in sales. At first I was a bit concerned, especially during Veganuary but if anything I’ve seen an increase in sales. We’re definitely up every month.

‘I think it’s because people are a lot more aware of where their food comes from now. A lot of customers come in wanting high-class meat from a Welsh farm. They don’t want to get it from a supermarket anymore.

Eight out of 10 people working in arts or culture say they stay silent about supporting conservative ideologies because they risk being bullied and ostracized, new study reveals

Survey from ArtsProfessionals reveals that workers in the arts and culture sector could face backlash for having ‘controversial opinions’
This includes supporting conservative political parties and movements like Brexit that don’t align with the liberal culture
Religion, sexuality and gender were also considered contentious topics
Fewer than 50 per cent said their views had ‘respect by others’ in their field

Other respondents held a ‘don’t bite the hand that feeds you’ mentality

  15. Nash is clearly struggling with the police portfolio but Cindy is staking him as ultimately responsible for all decisions in the fisheries portfolio as well. She may want to tell NZ First that. Other portfolios of Stuart Nash are revenue and small business.

PM distances Shane Jones’ role in fishery decisions after revelation Talley’s donated nearly $27,000 to NZ First Foundation
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/pm-distances-shane-jones-role-in-fishery-decisions-after-revelation-talleys-donated-nearly-27-000-nz-first-foundation?auto=6135635461001

When asked about Mr Jones’ role in decisions around fisheries, Ms Ardern told media from Fiji today she would not “describe his portfolio allocation in that way”. Mr Jones is the Regional Economic Development Minister and holds other portfolios.

Today RNZ revealed the New Zeand First Foundation “received $26,950 from seafood giant Talley’s and from managing director Sir Peter Talley between 2017 and 2019”.

“Stuart Nash is the Minister of Fisheries, he makes his decisions based on science and evidence,” Ms Ardern said.

  16. But Trump is a major threat to the United States itself, and especially the rule of law. So there is no scenario in which I could vote for him. You can recover from an economic recession, but you can’t recover from a President who thinks the job of the Justice Department is to only apply the law to his political opponents.

DPF has lost the plot totally.
He forgets that the worst law breakers are the clintons and Obama’s.

OTH Trump is weeding out the cirrupt and the law breakers and one day soon that will include Killary and Obama.
