  1. Its absolutely amazing that our emaciated leader can go to Australia and sort out all their problems yet can’t / won’t confront her corrupted deputy prime minister because of her cowardice.
Or is it that she gains strength depending on how many cameras are pointed in her general direction, I’ve got to the stage now (luckily) where if I hear or see her in the media I turn her off rather than listen to lies and spin.

    • What a stupid spineless useless individual.

She is an insult to the integrity of all decent New Zealanders.

I am so ashamed of this gutless thing.

      • Could it be she is holding the threat of action over Peter’s head to ensure that NZ First MPs vote for the Arms Amendment Bill? It wouldn’t surprise me given how corrupt and dirty the left are. Note, not that I thing those not quite as far left are squeaky clean you understand.

      • TJF ,Yes she’s the great outspoken hero of the left when she attacks Aussies PM but thats what she does, gets tough when she’s fairly sure there will be no strident push back but is to much of a coward to say anything about the corruption going on in that despicable party NZ first.

    • In all my channel surfing over the years the only dodgy sites I have visited have been Breitbart, The Daily Mail, the Herald, Stuff and, worst of all, the Guardian. Oh I did once visit Gab but found it an unusable jumble of rubbish not unlike Twitter which I never use.

    • Why is this information being leaked to us through the police union?
Is that who’s running national counter-terrorism these days?
      God defend New Zealand indeed!

Of course anything not approved by the Supreme Leader is labeled alt/far right extremist anyway.

      • Yes they will come for YSB. I have no doubt about this whatsoever.

In their eyes YSB is a hotbed of uncontrolled ‘right wing extremists’ who simply do not see the dangers of valuing kiwi culture and history, the famiky, Western fact based thinking and education. Added to this, YSB is a place where certain dangerous individuals openly question the LGBGTQROLFBUGGER orthodoxy and support such disgusting concepts as fossil fuels, capitalism and plastic bags (to name just a few).

Make no mistake. YSB will not be allowed to continue for much longer.

        • “who simply do not see the dangers of valuing kiwi culture and history, the famiky, Western fact based thinking and education.”

That is exactly what I believe in, Kiwi culture and history, the family and western based thinking as is the historic cultural basis of NZ. My family arrived in 1842, I am 6th generation, my family helped build this country, I am a Kiwi, I understand our traditional NZ culture. I do not understand those who wish to radically change those traditions for their own.

        • Sadly we appear to be living in a banana republic with a dictator turning a blind eye to corrupt practices.

I pray that the SFO acts quickly.

In my wildest dreams I never thought that corruption you hear about overseas would be acceptable in our beautiful country.

  2. Well Shane has handed out a a nice slap in the face to Cindy.
    Well done that man.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says Government coalition partner Shane Jones was both “loose” and “wrong” in saying Indian students were ruining academic institutions.

Jones, NZ First MP and minister for regional economic development, said “unfettered” immigration was out of control on Newshub Nation on Saturday, referring to everyone who “comes here from New Delhi”.

“When the Prime Minister speaks, on behalf of the Government, she is never wrong. But my remarks need to be seen through the prism of an MP on an election year,” he told Stuff.

He portrayed New Zealand’s current immigration policy as being without public mandate.

Immigration was a hot issue in the 2017 election, with both Labour and NZ First campaigning on a tightening of the immigration regime.

“[Immigration Minister Iain Lees-Galloway] has been quite gallant in his attempt to close various loopholes and tried to tidy up the deeply flawed and dodgy language schools, and tried to root out the recruiters that were shuttling people into low level visa factories – which is what many of the language schools are,” Jones said.

“The Prime Minister has had her say … but I would say to all of my woke left critics, charges of xenophobia are never going to work with me. My whakapapa in New Zealand goes back a thousand years.”

At last someone is saying what needs to be said.
You may not like Jones but there is no doubt about his attitude to things.

Reflecting on the issues arrising over the coronna virus it may well be seen later that pushing out the spending to some of the projects wa a fortuitist step.
We are in for a long haul on that one. Don’t underestimate what is about to happen.
Until there is an anti virus the world is in trouble. As much from the reactions as the virus itself.

    • Jones is about the only person left in NZ who can say what he thinks & say it when he likes. As a Maori he can never be accused of racism & as a senior NZ First MP he’s untouchable.

      50% arsehole & 50% taonga……..that’s Shane.

      21

      0

      • Just don’t be sucked in to vote for NZ First. Just because Shane says it now doesn’t mean his personal beliefs will become NZ First policy even if he does manage to topple Wynstone and install himself as leader.

They never seek a mandate because they know bloody well they would not get one. just look at the UK where the slogan “we were never asked” is very popular with the majority of those who had mass third world immigration imposed on them.

  3. Old bread lines Bernie is seriously out of favour with AIPAC for not being Zionist enough. Even though Bernie is Jewish, he’s no Zionist, unlike Trump. Though Trumps daughter is Jewish and his closest people.

Somehow though Trump manages to strongly support Israel without spreading war. This has never been done before and is uncharted territory.

For many years – no candidate has become president of the USA who did not put Israel before America.

  4. Tova O’Brien: Coronavirus potential ‘game-changer’ in election year
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/03/tova-o-brien-coronavirus-potential-game-changer-in-election-year.html

OPINION: Coronavirus is a potential game-changer in election year that could have an impact on the election campaign and even the result.

A national or international crisis like coronavirus can have a galvanising effect behind a Government or Prime Minister – but it depends entirely on how it’s handled.

    9

    0

    • Tova will disappointed then because it is odds on the Government will not handled it well. ( The medics probably will do things well but not the Govt.)
Having said that, if the virus does have an effect it will be the “side effects” on the economy which will make the difference and we know who will be floundering then.

Yes, right, reportedly a special trip. He could have read a newspaper, got an email from the Mayor, or an update from a local Labour MP. I do not find Minister Twyford is a confidence booster; quite the reverse in my view.

Christchurch’s new stadium one step closer after Government funding approval

Christchurch is a step closer to getting its long-awaited stadium after the Government approved a business case and funding for it.

The project is expected to cost a total of $473 million, with the Christchurch City Council set to pick up the remaining costs.

    • Vote buying at it’s best. Just wait for all the other “desired, or held up” projects suddenly come out of the woodwork and get this “TAXPAYERS” money. All in the name of election bribes.
Why do these political parties bother with raising party funds. All they need to do is wait for election year and use taxpayers money on their favourite vote buying projects.

      11

      0

      • This taxpayer is not impressed at blowing money on a sports stadium. Not even slightly. Especially given our borrowings and what may be coming at us, ready or not, in terms of global recession.

        5

        0

        • $200m might be needed for something more important now the economy is set to tank. No good playing games in a new stadium if everyone is out of work, homeless, poor or can’t get into a hospital when they’re sick. Baubles don’t feed and house the population.

US Election: Amy Klobuchar drops out of Democrat race, endorsing Joe Biden
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/world/2020/03/us-election-amy-klobuchar-drops-out-of-democrat-race-endorsing-joe-biden.html

Democrat Amy Klobuchar, a US senator from Minnesota, is ending her bid for the Democratic presidential nomination and endorsing rival Joe Biden, her campaign confirmed on Monday.

      • Like Trump would be worried about Hillary. She barely held it together through the campaign four years ago. Trump is like the energizer bunny in comparison.

        11

        0

        • Well they know how poor Crooked Hilary’s health is and she really started to get run down through the long campaign against Bernie when it was pretty obvious that she wasn’t going to get the nomination. Then she really had to ramp it up to bully all the feminazis in the DNC to break all the rules and steal the nomination from Bernie – and finally she had to use all of her political capital to get Obama (who fucking hates her) to call Bernie off (I still wonder what the payoff was). So Killary was pretty fucking knackered out by the time it came to fighting Trump – and she just had no petrol left in the tank.

If she does get slithered in after the convention – she’ll be fresh as a daisy and the sub-humans in the DNC will assume that Hilary’s strategy of insulting 55% of the country is going to work this time around.

But then, Hilary will be playing for keeps this time around so we know that Trump will kill himself (just like Epstein) by shooting himself twice in the head and once in the chest – leaving the field wide open for DNC fascism to come rolling in. The immigration floodgates will be opened up and within 4 years the USA will cease to exist as it drowns in rapefugees and disease.

Game over for the rest of us.

  8. NZ First MP Shane Jones stands by Indian students remark that got him chastised by PM

Shane Jones is thumbing his nose at the Prime Minister, refusing to resile from his comments about Indian students ruining academic institutions in New Zealand.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/nz-first-mp-shane-jones-stands-indian-students-remark-got-him-chastised-pm?auto=6137526420001

“I challenge anyone in New Zealand to disagree with me in terms of the sad regularity with which we are seeing egregious cases of abuse, in the media, coming from the Indian migrant community upon their own. In fact, they’re appearing in courts with more regularity than the Mongrel Mob.”

The Prime Minister was asked about NZ First MP Shane Jones’ “redneck” comments towards some farmers.

“It’s probably a generational style. I don’t belong to the tribe of woke snobbery. I’m a 60-year-old Croatian-Māori from Kaitaia, beer drinking, plain speaking, red meat eating politician.”

Al Noor mosque threat is ‘significant incident’ – Police Association
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/03/al-noor-mosque-threat-is-significant-incident-police-association.html

An online threat against a Christchurch mosque is a “significant incident” authorities will be wanting to quickly resolve, according to the president of the Police Association.

On Sunday night, an individual posted on an online messaging board, threatening worshippers at the Al Noor mosque, the target of the tragic March 15 shootings last year. The message, written in both English and Russian, was accompanied by an image of the individual, who was wearing a balaclava, outside the mosque.

Police Association president Chris Cahill believes officers will be making a substantial effort to track the individual down.

“It certainly needs to be treated as serious, even though the most high likelihood [is] this is a weak coward who is just trying to put fear into people through the use of the internet,” he told Newshub.

    10

    • Perhaps someone could advise me what crime has actually been committed that would require the police to expend “substantial effort to track down the individual”? Was it one of those non-crime hate incidents that the UK police get their knickers twisted about? Can we really have descended so far that our police are as bad an the British now? Not something to be proud of really especially when real crime all over the country does not seem to have abated.

      Different strokes.

We see this with the Maori women who get caught in places like Bali, Australia, and South America drug running. They get caught and punished whereas in little old aotea Zealand they are a privileged princesses. eg Sharon Armstrong and Myra Williams. 13. In other news, I am disappointed in how skewed the Media Council and their process is. Their intention does not appear to be to hear a fair and balanced complaint, but to favour the media companies.

To give you some oversight; you first have to lodge your complaint with the broadcaster. They have 10 working days to respond to you. If you are not happy with their response, you can refer it to the Media Council who meet every few months to hear these types of complaints.

I lodged a complaint with RNZ and they provided me with a written response. I wrote back to them and said I disagree, would they like to discuss or should I refer? Their response was the equivalent of “Go fuck yourself, refer it if you like”. I did so.

Now RNZ is again able to respond to the Media Council. But they can also update their submission regularly and respond with additional information. So their team of researches are busy looking for more information that they then submit, etc. They are not constrained in their responses and supply page after page of documentation to support their viewpoint.

Myself, as the complainant are given a maximum number of words and after the media company has responded (in theory in full, although they do add submissions as noted later) I am given a maximum of 200 words to respond to their submission.

It is so skewed it’s not even funny. I know the hearing will be a foregone conclusion, my only consolation at this time is that I’m costing them far more in time and money and energy than I am spending.

The main worry is from when he was a young boy in school!

    Stigma, most importantly oppose stigma.
Control the language and they control you.

Stop paying the UN and the WHO.
Purchase the test kits with that money, and alleviate any costs from this health problem with that money!

  19. If you havent had a chance to check out Judge Judy Sheindlin’s interview at Oxford Union, take the chance. I was pleasantly surprised at her political take on a lot of things wrong with the USA. She may be a leftie in the US, but to us, she comes across as to the right of The National Front and believes in a thing called PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.

    • With the latest two being tested having come back negative has Robbo been premature in his excuse the NZ economy is tanking due to the Coronavirus?

Economy moving towards ‘ longer-lasting shock’ due to coronavirus – Finance Minister
      https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/economy-moving-towards-longer-lasting-shock-due-coronavirus-finance-minister

The impact of Covid-19 is moving towards a “longer-lasting shock with global impact feeding through to the economy for the rest of 2020”, Grant Robertson said today.

It is a step up from earlier predictions that the economy would bounce back in the second half of the year.

Mr Robertson’s earlier said analysis of the economic impact had focussed on a scenario where the virus was “contained and there is a short, sharp impact on the global economy in the first half of 2020, before activity returns to normal levels”.

      • Gosh, he’s a sharp one that Grant Robertson. I feel so happy and confident knowing both he and Cindy are in command.

P.S. I lie like a cheap Chinese watch in case you were wondering.

  20. I notice that of late young Ed, our beloved host & friend, is having a bit of a down on those who partake of the sacred herb. He should heed the wisdom of Hunter S. Thompson in his book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: 🙂

“KNOW YOUR DOPE FIEND. YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT! You will not be able to see his eyes because of the Tea-Shades, but his knuckles will be white from inner tension and his pants will be crusted with semen from constantly jacking off when he can’t find a rape victim. He will stagger and babble when questioned. He will not respect your badge. The Dope Fiend fears nothing. He will attack, for no reason, with every weapon at his command-including yours. BEWARE. Any officer apprehending a suspected marijuana addict should use all necessary force immediately. One stitch in time (on him) will usually save nine on you. Good luck.

  21. I just happened on this German TV documentary from nearly five years ago. I think it would be an excellent idea if it was broadcast on NZTV on or about the 15th to give the public an idea of what we are dealing with here too in contrast to the picture Cindy would like to paint for us.

  22. I heard at lunchtime that Al Nor Mosque will cater for 1000 guests for the anniversary. I guess the taxpayer will be picking up the bill? The large crowd will make a nice backdrop for Cindy and her hugz in front of the TV cameras. Let’s hope the Coronavirus doesn’t join in to mingle with a crowd that large.

Why? Any virus that showed up would drown in a crowd as wet as that one promises to be.

Winston Peters blasts Australian MP who implied Jacinda Ardern was vote-seeking by condemning deportation policy

Peters lashed out at Peter Dutton, Australian Home Affairs Minister, who led a 2014 law change that meant Kiwis deemed “not of good character” could be sent back, many with little connection to New Zealand.

“When you send back people who have been in Australia since year one or year two, you’ve lost the plot,” Peters, the Foreign Minister, told ABC Radio.

Peters pointed to the March 15 Christchurch terror attack in 2019, highlighting to ABC Radio how the accused gunman is an Australian citizen.

“We had a mass murderer come to this country from Australia. Did we make a song and dance with Australia about that?” Peters said.

“It was the worst tragedy we’ve ever had, 51 people lost their lives… far worse than Port Arthur. And nobody in my country sought to abuse Australia about that.”

    • This is how white well off government workers pretend to connect with the people. They of course feel nothing for Maori, or any of us.

It’s about their career and social circles. Nothing more.

      Trust me on this one.

  25. Panem et circenses( Of bread and circus games.)

In a political context, the phrase means to generate public approval, not by excellence in public service or public policy, but by diversion, distraction or by satisfying the most immediate or base requirements of a populace — by offering a palliative: for example food (bread) or entertainment (circuses).

From an old French periodical called “Murmures d’Irem”, volume 7. 1967.

” By thusly transferring to the state, the ‘parental role,’ it will be easier for us, thereafter, to take over, one by one, all the responsibilities that had, to date, been the exclusive preserve of the parents.
It is in this way that we will be able to make everyone consider as an abuse against children, the traditional religious teachings of Judaeo-Christian origins.

At the same time but at another level, we will have inscribed in the highest laws of the nations, that all the religions, cults and religious practices of all sorts, including witchcraft and magic, must all be respected the same ways as each other.

It will be, after that, with disconcerting ease to transfer this State role towards children to the highest international institutions, such as the United Nations.

The crew need to set up a water hose to keep them wet and cold and unable to heat food and coffee.
Make sure that they get no sleep as well!
No need to hose them off with a fire hose, just make them wet and cold!
