The tariffs are to bring other countries to heal, ie remove their tariffs so world trade becomes a level playing field. They are all renegotiating except for China who are retaliating with higher tariffs and need an extra slap on the nose with a rolled newspaper to bring them to heal.
The stock market is surging back after Trump’s 90 day pause on tariffs today.
Trump is rebalancing the US economy so the elite lose their grip and the struggling get a break. Tax cuts are on their way soon as well.
