  1. Ah a familiar phrase that will forever haunt John Key.
Sacked the one man who knew how to get housing on track and roading on track. Gutless bastard, him and the pansy bastard MP from Howick whose name I can’t even remember because of all the good work he did to earn his pension. Replaced him with Simon becuase he couldn’t stand working with a practical guy who was wealthier than himself.

How much better off we would have been had Bob Clarkson been allowed to get stuff done.

  2. Anyway have you seen the dross with raised fists who turned out yesterday. Appalling we should have people with this kind of attitude to NZ.
We need a war to get rid of these types in our society.

all the so called agreived of our society. Angry with themselves becuase they have no other purpose in their lives.

Just read a very interesting book called “The Choice” by Edith Egar. Her journey from childhood to Aschwitz and to recovery. If you can get it and read it and then add Trevor Bentley’s book “Pakeha Slaves, Maori Masters” and you will then understand what is wrong with these people and the need apparent for UTU.
    Revenge is not forgiving.

A taste of the future if we don’t be careful.

  3. Jacinda lying like a $2 hooker on Mike Hoskings

I try to give her a fair shake of the whip on her performances, but today you can hear that she is lying. Her lines are sounding well rehearsed.

Apparently the police doing nothing was perfectly OK. When they forced surfers out of the water when they were surfing on their own, apparently doing nothing when there is widespread flouting of the social distancing rules is just the same as harrassing individuals on their own.

    We are living in 1984.

    I fear for the species.

    • Pathetic. Just done it on Morning Report too. It’s just a solid stream of bullshit. And half of NZ fall for it.

      17

      • They do fall for it all the time. Too stupid to think for themselves and slavishly believing everything the lying media vermin tell them.

        • Speaking of vermin. Duncan Garner of AM Show while discussing the George Floyd excuse for rioting in the US actually asked the question of his co-hosts “what would you loot?”. They went on to discuss it with Duncan saying he’d head for JB-HiFi or whatever it’s called for all the expensive items. What a completely dumb f’k thing to say! And they wonder why people are switching off from msm.

Bring back Ryan Bridge who recently replaced him for two weeks.

    • Has National come out strongly questioning the lack of action on these protesters for breaking Level 2 rules ?? (I do not follow the MSM much)

If not, and if David Seymour can get his point about it out in the MSM, then there are 2 questions —have National not got any back bone and fighters in their mob? Who is their chief media person —they should be sacked today?

  4. Stop bitching Peters, it is YOU and your gang led by your partner the Mad Queen who make the decisions. You are grandstanding and politicking. You have the power. Stop this madness.

Winston Peters: If protests condoned, organisers not prosecuted ‘why are we not at level 1?’
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/06/winston-peters-if-protests-condoned-organisers-not-prosecuted-why-are-we-not-at-level-1.html

Cabinet meets on Tuesday and Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters says alert level 2 restrictions have to be discussed.

Peters has already publicised his difference of opinion with his Cabinet colleagues over the speed at which the country was moving alert levels.

“Why is this going on against the rules we’ve all agreed to?

“It’s a question for all of us. We cannot have rules where some people decide that they don’t wish to comply and there are no consequences.”

  5. How many coincidences before the likelihood becomes mathematically impossible

What is the likelihood that at every major protest site in the US there happens to be piles of bricks readily available at convenient central city locations?

I can’t think of the last time I’ve been in a city centre and seen neat piles of worn bricks left lying around for more than a few hours?

Of course, this would be perfectly reasonable if you had big money organising behind the supposedly “spontaneous” protests.

This isn’t about George Floyd this is about the DNC being terrified of Candace Owen’s Blexit movement. This is about picking up where the Plandemic left off in de-stabilising the Trump economy.

No one in their right mind says “I’m upset about the way George Floyd was treated, I’m going to go looting”.

  6. I am now living in fear of what this country has become and I cannot believe it. The police have these special powers to enter your home, check you do not have more than 10 people visiting and yet thousands can arrive on mass to protest something that happens thousands of miles away and they stand fists up to protest. What about the gang shootings the child abuse and killings etc etc. Is that OK because they do it themselves? Actually most lives matter, there are a few exceptions to the rule of course and evil is something we are cursed with but honestly what did all that have to do with here in NZ> I see Dr pink hair came out and told them to self isolate for 14 days which is a joke as they would mostly be dole receivers anyway and wouldn’t know what work was if it bit them on the bum. And just asking when did all these woke yanks arrive in New Zealand? we seem full of them lately.

    20

    0

    • And apparently some of the Avatar crew that got sneaked in to the country last week, well some of them were at the protests.

I thought they were under 14 day quarantine – surely that breaches their visa conditions and they should be deported immediately!

    • Anarchists have the upper hand in NZ and the cops will stand by.
      This happened last year in Ihumatao;
in the Extinction rebellion vandalism in Wellington Central.
It is not a one off.
      Cops are repeat offenders.

In March 2020 around the world the healthy were imprisoned in their homes.
…and for the first 10 days at least in NZ the cops were acting illegally.
      Will there be repercussions ….NO
If you (Pvt Cit) acted illegally would there be repercussions…YES

It is Alice in Wonderland… in real life

The cop pricks were (illegally) going and harassing citizens standing sheepishly in breadlines.
      Fucking cowards.
Hiding behind a uniform with ‘pretend law’ and thuggery on their side.
No different to Black Power or Mongrel Mob.

These are the same cowards who months ago threatened to prosecute the brave helicopter pilots who went to White Is and saved lives.
We now know the cops screwed up Pike River and are using taxpayers money with another guilty party- Angry Little -to cover up their incompetent deeds.

I do think we passed ‘peak pig’ more than 10 years ago.
There is some argument to change it significantly as touched on by another YSB thread today
      https://ysb.co.nz/more-leftie-stupidity/.

Institutions have a time and place.
The unions were formed in the early 1800s when there was a need to address massive labour exploitation. By the 1960s their job was done so they moved onto political interference and mainly malicious activity.
Their time had come …and gone.

The cops were formed around the same time (Peelers) but from early this century (2000) their purpose has become ‘blurry ‘

They have moved into virtue signalling; recruiting from the pool of people who do not belong-
5 ft 2″ feminists with a degree in wimins studies and anthropology.
Slender Asians who cannot foot it (not all Asians do kung fu) and so on.
      Rainbow cop cars!!
They have encouraged the wrong people to be cops. These same people do not work in forestry because their physical attributes do not allow it. They don’t belong in the police.
The cops don’t attend burglaries – read as :- they don’t give a fuck – and they are pretty useless in NZ at solving crime or protecting the innocent.

Methamphetamine use up more than double in three years and prices way lower.
Gang membership up 30% in 2 years…because they can. Cops won’t touch them and their illegal guns. Want to access auto weapons > join a gang. That is the message.
Yet, they will be assholes if you drive 5 km over the speed limit.

The recent case discussed here about deporting the Fijian indian that murdered a woman and her 6 year old child. They dropped the charges because the woman did not turn up to court.
The reason she did not turn up to court ….was the bastard had murdered her and the six year old. That is f..ing useless.
It was only when workers dug up body parts that they got off their donut-heavy lard arses to do something.

In the case 13 years ago of the child ‘pumpkin’ the wife was murdered and in the boot of the car the cops walked past for days. Even Aunty Hulun used couched terms to call them out.
      They are actually rather useless.
      Who killed Scott Guy?
What happened to the big blue ketch in the Sounds on the day of the Smart/Hope disappearance?

The cops can’t even hold onto guns as seen multiple times in the last year but if a private citizen cant account for things or the gun safe is not secure ..woe betide.

We now know the sad history of the British police who are simply a political activism group now and no better than the Stasi of the GDR.
It is ALL political now and not about Law and Order.

There is meant to be a separation of Politics (Law making) and enforcement.
Three parts/stages of Law: 1. Law makers (Parliament) ; 2. Police -as enforcement of these laws; 3. Courts – to fuse the statutory law with the evidence supplied by pt 2 – police and make a decision as to guilt or not guilt.
The unofficial fourth part is the ‘Fourth Estate’ (aka media retards) to provided independent overview and reporting on the efficient functioning of the above three ..but we know that ship has sailed.
Bought and paid for by part 1.

It does not matter that it may be a bad thing that George Floyd was killed by a cop in Minnesota.
The cops in Auckland and other centres where these protests took place should have enforced the law as it stood -without fear or favour.
Limit groups to people to 100.
Churches, concert venues, bars , nightclubs and other legal taxpaying entities have complied.
It is not the role of cops in their paid day jobs to anguish over George Floyd.
Their paid job is to enforce the law as it stood.
They failed…like so many times before.
      Ihumatao…. forever an open wound.

Cops role is not meant to be political.
      But it is.
      So
The cops changed the role without consulting the good taxpaying citizens who fund them.
They are actually the enemy of the good citizens now (esp in UK, and NZ follows that 10-20 year later) as they wont protect us from Extinction Rebellion or other street thugs.
Patched gangs can have as many as they want at a funeral in lockdown but not the people ‘they serve and protect’.

      See where this is going.
If a NZ rugby club asks people to turn out in thousands next week to watch a game
…They will be defunded and pilloried.
But anarchists are OK by the cops.

      • Well figured howitis

The police are full of CCP virus.
Call the police or any officialdom “CCP infected” and to stay away from you.
Easy to claim on the authority of the Prime Minister, that is as Ardern has assured us, that all are infected.

A judge will have to dance on the head of a pin, to decide that is not true and that you are irrational.
Simultaneously that would be saying how wrong and irrational Ardern is for spreading such ‘fake news’. 🙂
That will leave plenty of room for appeals.

Then stick that “officially decided” tag on Ardern of “fake news” “liar” etc. on her

      • You make mention of that pumpkin episode thirteen years ago. Friends will not believe this but the car that the police walked around for several days was parked in, get this, “Keystone Street”!!! If you were writing a Tv comedy the director would throw that out as being too corny. But it is a cold hard fact.

She takes the weekend off to go and talk to the locals in Gizzie over smashed avos on toasted with almond milk latte.
Rings up Karen in Europe, for a catch up.

  7. Why the surprise? The heavy rain and flooding was predicted for days before the weekend but it didn’t stop holiday makers rushing up the Coromandel.

Holidaymakers in Coromandel stranded after flash flooding closes main road

Holidaymakers looking to make the most of the Queen’s Birthday weekend have been forced to choose between a long drive home or staying put after heavy rain caused flash flooding in the region.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/holidaymakers-in-coromandel-stranded-after-flash-flooding-closes-main-road?auto=6160759695001

Many people attempting to leave the region today have been turned around following the closure of the region’s main road, Kopu-Hikuai Road.

“We’ve had to ring all our bosses and call in sick for tomorrow and everyone’s been really good, actually, so all the bosses said, ‘Stay safe, look after your families and we’ll see you when we see you,'” Mr Gibson said.

  8. The entire planets Leftie MSM are going to spend every minute between now and the US election to oust president Trump and going by tv1and tv3 this morning our hacks are leading the charge.
This will be their last chance to stop the inevitable age of a new conservatism that is about to sweep the western world ,POTUS Biden is the aim ,a man that has lost his mind and is a pedophilic corrupted treasonous old C—T.
Of course Touchy-feely Joe has one redeeming feature that was so highly valued in the Obumma administration, for just a few million he’ll roll over like a trained dog and agree to anything his handlers say.
We are living on a razor edge where an American election has never been so critical to how our children’s children will live ,free or as slaves.

The VPs position will be chosen by which candidate can come up with the most cash and DR Jill will be front and centre in that decision.

  9. Fiordland’s Homer Tunnel to be closed for resurfacing

Motorists travelling to Milford Sound after the Queen’s Birthday weekend can expect possible delays for road resurfacing.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/fiordlands-homer-tunnel-closed-resurfacing

The single-lane Homer Tunnel will have closures in morning, afternoon and evening slots throughout the next fortnight.

Milford Road Alliance manager Kevin Thompson said crews had been regularly patching potholes and re-levelling the road. But the 1.2 kilometres of tunnel surface needed to be replaced, milled out by up to 10 centimetres and relaid, he said.

“To minimise disruptions for road users we are doing the work at a time when there is a lot less traffic using the Milford Road. Just how long it will take to complete this job depends on the number of winter weather disruptions work crews have to contend with,” Thompson said.

  10. I posted this here last night but this perhaps deserves a wider audience, see what you think. Has Richard Prosser lost his marbles or is there truth in this? There is definitely truth in the fact that hydroxychloroquine works and has been vilified. Is a new and nastier version of the virus on the way? The worrying thing is there is a lot of truth here as well as stuff that is very hard to believe. Richard used to write for Ian Wishart’s Investigate mag, before he became an MP.

  14. Todd Muller

Clearly, the Nats have given up on the 2020, what kind of muppet doesn’t take advantage of the massive own goal by the PM on the protests? Where the fuck was the leader of the oppostion? Why haven’t we heard from Todd? What a fucking useless oxygen thief.

It’s hard to imagine a less effective leader of the opposition than Bridges, but clearly Muller has said “Hold my beer” and he’s going to show how it’s done.

Just how awful can the supposed “natural” party of government be when they are less effective that ACT with a single MP?

I decided over the weekend that the New Conservatives get my party vote. I figure if my vote is going to be wasted anyway with National, it may as well be wasted on a party that is the closest aligned to my views. Sure ACT needs a presence, I just think Seymour is piss weak on the most important issue of all – the UN migration pact.

MMP needs to be fixed, we need the 5% threshold removed. We need minor right wing parties to be in the fold. National will never top 40% again but at least there’ll be 2-3 natural partners with 3-5 seats each.

    11

    0

    • If Muller keeps going another couple of weeks like this there should be a revolt. Ordinarily he would have been rolled after losing the election but at this rate he’ll be gone before then and that would be an even bigger disaster.
He and his close supporters have clearly not had any plans ready to be put in place, past that first speech. If they were not ready to come out “all guns blazing” they should have just kept waiting. It just shows total incompetence !!!

      7

      0

      • There is precedent.
        Lange was replaced mid term
Then Fatboys replacement – Merry Palmer – was replaced 7 weeks before the 1990 election by Mike Moore.
That was not to win the election they knew was gone, it was to save MPs seat.

Twaddle head Little was replaced 7 weeks before the election (2017) as well, on horses birthday, Aug 1.

If Muller is dog tucker, chuck him in the offal pit.
        But who else is there?
Was the plan all along to switcheroo Nikki Kaye to leader on 1 Aug like they did with Ardoom?
        So far, not so good.

        6

          • Who was stupid enough to elect Bumbling Bertie Muller as leader in the first place?

They have worked with Bertie Gertie for a minimum of 2.5 years so should have a clue.

But for whom, and, more importantly, FOR WHAT?

Like it or not, there is now no point of difference between them and the rest of the leftist parties. They’re now all the same, only separated by shades of ideology.

        • Agree Komata.
I said a month or so back that National started off very well as an opposition but have slowly but surely withered out over the 2.5 years. They have opportunities handed to them on a plate, weekly in not daily. David Seymour has shown how to do it for a couple of years.

Supporters moan that the MSM do not give them a fair. So what –work something else out!!! Even recently they could have got a group of wealthy supporters to buy Stuff and turn the Dominion Post into the equivalent of The Australian newspaper (either as a print or online version).
There just seems to be a lack of imagination in the background of the Party.
I thought they had been working on policy for the last 12 – 18 months at least —when is that going to start rolling out ?

BTW. I heard the start of the 3.00pm news, but then got distracted. It started quoting Muller saying ” he had sympathy for the protesters yesterday…..” Please tell there was at least a BUT after that bit.

        • Collins will hunker down for another 3 years in the wilderness while the long 3-year economic Ice Age returns. During this time she will prepare for the 2023 election, provided that NZ hasn’t sold off all its assets to the CCP to keep the country afloat with loans.

          Or is this too dystopian?

          • No offence to Judith, but she is not getting any younger and if she rolls Muller after the election it would be a long, tough 3 years ahead —by then she would have been in Parliament for quite a long time . Would she want to be the PM having to clean up the carnage that will be developed during the next 3-4 years?
Having said that I think she is probably the only one in the National Party, at present, who could do it.
Do not mention Luxton, assuming he gets into Parliament —just because he was CEO of Air NZ does not make him able to be good in politics. Besides, I think all the hard yards at Air NZ were done by the previous guy.

    • Immigration is the bug bear for me also with ACT!

Must strongly come out about renouncing and repealing the UN Global migration Pact with in 100 days, to regain NZ sovereignty.

Immigration most often benefits many immigrants, but does not necessarily bring that much to NZ. as it seems to dilute the per capita GDP.
It also bogs down into debate about score systems, rankings,,

It is our people in NZ that needs to be motivated, by what ever it takes, to get a life, a job, upgrade, to become valued citizens.
Not to be by-passed, or ignored, remember, they are still voters.
ACT did have the right thing with Charter Schools, but NZ need more runs on the board to make real change.

  16. I find it hard to think of Chauvin as a white supremacist as much as someone with a bigoted anti-urban-black attitude reinforced by his selective memories of his experiences on the street as a policeman. As a policeman on the street you must surely have to deal with the “dregs” of society, and this will color your attitudes to certain types of people.

It is human nature (and a survival trait) to judge a book by its cover.

Chauvin’s wife (Kellie) was born in Laos. Ref: https://www.snopes.com/ap/2020/05/31/derek-chauvins-wife-and-tou-thao-are-not-siblings/

“And that is why the left so easily slips into violence. All its ideological ends are good. Therefore its means, from mass starvation to gulags to riots and tyranny, must be good. If I slash your tires because of your Obama bumper sticker, I’m a monster. But if you key my car because of my Trump bumper sticker, you’re fighting racism and fascism. https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/06/political-poll-labour-has-more-than-double-national-s-support-kiwis-happy-with-country-s-direction.html

With less than four months until September’s election, a newly-released Roy Morgan poll has Labour sitting at 56.5 percent and National at 26.5 percent. The Green Party stays above the threshold with 7 percent, while Act is on 3.5 percent. New Zealand First would be out of Parliament on these numbers if it didn’t win a seat as it only garnered the support of 2.5 percent of respondents.

On Roy Morgan’s numbers, Labour could govern alone.

  27. Employee monitoring software sales skyrocketed by 300% during lockdown

Sales of employee monitoring software have skyrocketed since the country went into lockdown, with tech companies reporting a 300 per cent increase for New Zealand customers.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/employee-monitoring-software-sales-skyrocketed-300-during-lockdown

The software, which can track what websites employees visit, take screenshots throughout the day, and track productivity through mouse and keyboard movements, is marketed as a helping hand for managers, who no longer have eyes over office-based staff.

He said the most popular product was time-tracking, to keep tabs on when a worker logged in and out.

Chief marketing officer Pete Nourse said it was a way to give back the visibility managers had over staff when they were working in an office.

“They just don’t know what’s going on within their company anymore and they’re looking for policies, procedures and tools to navigate this new normal and that’s where employee monitoring software can help.”

Veriato also offers a dashboard to compare workers based on their productivity.

If the boss sent me out to the coast to pick up a load & wanted me to do anything else while I was out there he’d look at the clock & could figure within a couple of miles where I was & ring a few customers on the road out.

I was one of three & he paid us above award but the Northern Drivers Union made sure that he knew the price. So did I when one time a steer stood on the non steel capped part of my boot. No broken bones but severe bruising, the doctor signed me off on two weeks compo.

Boss decided that he’d drive my truck & I could answer the phone & run the office. I lasted a week & begged to get back on the road! 🙂

The Prime Minister says she won’t “make conclusions about other people’s character” after being asked whether she believes US President Donald Trump is racist.

President Trump has faced strong criticism for his response, which has involved threats of violence and mobilising the US military to combat protesters – but Ardern says she won’t make judgements on his handling of the issue.

“It’s not for me to make conclusions about other people’s character – particularly of other world leaders. It is my job to make sure that we reflect our values in New Zealand,” the Prime Minister said.

“I have a view on the incident which I’ve already shared.”

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/06/south-island-independence-movement-publishes-manifesto-says-it-is-time-it-became-its-own-country.html

The South Island Independence Movement has published its manifesto ‘Our Southern Isle’ in an attempt to show how it would run its own country if its ties were cut with the North Island.

The movement’s founder Solomon Tor-Kilsen wrote the manifesto and published it on Facebook to show why he wants the “the South” to be its own country.

“It is time those of us in the South forge our own destiny and future, free from the shackles and taxes of those who think themselves better than us and think of themselves as our rulers and leaders,” the manifesto says.

“Like the battered wife who works tirelessly to support the insatiable thirst of the abusive alcoholic husband, it is time this tireless and hard working South divorced the proverbial leech that is the North Island.”

  33. Muller is a wimp!

Senior opposition MPs are clamouring for New Zealand to move to Alert Level 1 immediately, but leader Todd Muller is taking a more cautious stance.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/senior-national-mps-want-immediate-move-covid-19-alert-level-1-but-muller-cautious

Amy Adams, National’s number-three ranked MP who holds the party’s Covid-19 Recovery portfolio, backed an immediate move.

“There is very strong evidence New Zealand should be in Level 1 now … given we are in Level 2 the government has to be very clear about how those rules are enforced.”

Former deputy leader and frontbencher Paula Bennett said the events of the long weekend, including Black Lives Matters protests in major cities, further showed why New Zealand should be moved out of Level 2 immediately.

Those stated positions went further than their leader Todd Muller was willing to go – he would only say the shift should come as soon as possible.

“I’m not the Prime Minister, I don’t get to see the advice which balances those competing objectives,” Mr Muller said.
