  1. Ardern is keeping NZ at level 2 now just for shits and giggles. She wants to manage this to the end, and doesn’t want anyone else to influence the narrative. Despicable.

    • Saggy, I think it is more than just control-freakery. The meme heading this HYS is truer than we can all know. I think (looking at the template being used in the DNC controlled states in the US) suggests that stoopid Cindy is working towards a goal of subverting the election.

I believe the end-game is to get over Labour’s biggest hurdle with their voting base (ie that only lazy, stupid, unemployed fuckers really have any rational reason to vote Labour) and that lazy, indigent, dope-smoking, welfare bludging ne’er do-wells find it very hard to get off their fat arses (even if it is to vote for the party that sustains their lifestyle). Labour voters are lazy fuckers, they don’t believe in democracy, they can’t be arsed to walk down the street to the polling booth.

But all that is made infinitely easier with POSTAL VOTING! Plus of course, mail-in ballots are much more susceptible to being tampered with (conservative votes can be accidentally damaged when the letters are opened up and thus can be discounted as spoiled – left wing votes can be forged or duplicated).

      The plan seems to be:
      – ramp up fear at the Plannedemic
      – restrict movement for the sheeple’s safety
      – convince the sheeple that going to the voting booth to cast one’s vote is dangerous
therefore we can’t have a proper election! Let’s just do postal voting – it works really well for making sure we get only left wing mayors in local authority elections – it’s the perfect solution.

This is what they want to do in the US, it’s what they want to do here. Postal voting = suspension of democracy.

    • Ardern doesn’t want lockdown to end at all- Remember that her two ‘expert advisors’ (Siouxsie Sioux and that prat from the University) have both stated they wanted the full lockdown to continue indefinitely!
The Mad Queen could then stall any Election and effectively declare herself ‘Dear Leader for Life’…

      • “…have both stated they wanted the full lockdown to continue indefinitely! ”
Did they seriously say that CO? They have to be certifiable to even think that let alone say it out loud.

      • They seem to want to make the lock down to morph into “contact tracing”.

That is set up to lead to all contact with any social media, that will be monitored for anything contrary as ‘feelzed’ offended, as I mentioned a few days ago about new legislation coming.

Government agencies – including the police – will be able to “issue a takedown notice relating to a particular online publication to an online content host if “the content is objectionable or if the person “believes , on reasonable grounds, that the online publication is objectionable”.
        https://www.newsroom.co.nz/2020/05/27/1203355/takedown-notices-and-internet-filters-in-new-bill

Agencies that can fine you up to $200,000 and/or 14 years jail.

        Yeah right, totally objectionable. 🙁

I would wonder if they want that contact tracing to be fully enforceable too, with like penalties.

  2. WTF ,This country has gone so far left that we now have Greenpeace lining up to pressure government to ban plastic bottles and as usual be “the first country in the world to do it”.
I hope they talk to the Plod about this plan because it’s hard to believe their officers would rather receive a solid glass bottle to their nut than a plastic one ,LOL.

  3. How bloody patronising is this? If there was ever any doubt that Cindy missed her vocation as a kindy teacher, this should dispel it.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s 10 golden rules for alert level 1

    1. If you are sick stay at home; don’t go to work or school or socialise. None of that changes when we lift restrictions. We do not want New Zealanders to be stoic and go into workplaces or anywhere else.

    2. If you have cold or flu-like symptoms, call your doctor or health line and make sure you get tested.

    3. Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands.

    4. Sneeze and cough into your elbow and regularly disinfect shared surfaces.

    5. If you are told by health authorities to self-isolate, you must do it immediately.

    6. If you are concerned about your well-being or if you have an underlying health condition, we still encourage you to work with your GP.

    7. Keep track of where you have been and who you have seen to help contact tracing if needed, and we really encourage people to use the Covid tracer app as an easy way to do that.

    8. Businesses should help people keep track of their movements by displaying the Ministry of Health QR Code for contact tracing.

    9. Stay vigilant. There is still a global pandemic going on, people and businesses should be prepared to act fast to step up alert levels, if we have to.

    10. And finally, people will have had very different experiences over the past couple of months. Whatever you are feeling, it is OK. Be kind to others and be kind to yourself.”

      https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/121715231/pm-jacinda-arderns-level-1-golden-rules-are-more-vague-than-useful

Not surprisingly, comments are not turned on.

I think the time has come to ask if it is worth staying in NZ if people don’t get fucked off by this insulting infantilisation of society. In the US – despite all the false flag rioting – it seems clearer and clearer each day that voters are turning off the DNC in droves. I hold real hope that Trump will carry the WH, the Senate and the House. Far-left Corbyn turned voters off in the UK, Far-left DNC turn voters off in the US. Globalist Macron turns voters off in France. Globalist Merkel is turning voters off in Germany. Far left Shorten turned voters off in Australia.

But in NZ the opposite! You have to ask is it safe to be staying in a country that is so full of absolute morons? If Cindy is re-elected it will be the equivalent of a home-owner setting fire to his own house because it was a bit chilly outside.

          • Part of the problem is our females who seem to adore her (Tits of a feather vote together) and respond to dear leaders daily dose of fearmongering. National seems little better with Todd failing to slaughter the interviewer who questioned the number of Maori on their front bench by simply saying – unlike Labour our front bench MPs are selected on abiility not skin colour. Tactically party vote ACT to install some MPs with common sense and understanding of life for the average Kiwi.

  5. After Mondays marches and no one doing anything about the thousands who marched, no lockdown necessary for the buggers that are marching for a man with a very questionable past as was in last nights postings and I have also read from other sources, I despair for this country. There is no opposition to anything the mad queen does, or the police does or does not do. The only one speaking out against all this madness is David Seymour from ACT. It’s all gone too far left now I fear we will not be able to bring it back again to a more level headed country, no good will come of this at all.
This be kind to yourself and others, is something that is only a token speech the mad queen shouts, not in reality as no one gives a f**k. Where is National who is supposed to be the party for the even slightly conservative New Zealanders? Died in the ditch have they? They sure are not vocal in their response to the madness that is being thrust on us.

  6. New Zealand First deputy leader Shane Jones vows the party won’t be “absorbed” by the Labour-led Government ahead of the upcoming election.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/shane-jones-vows-nz-first-wont-tolerate-being-absorbed-labour-ahead-election

“Under the last regime, every minor party was basically absorbed by the bigger organism,” he says.

“My leader and I, we’re just not going to tolerate being absorbed or completely shaded by the Labour Party.

“You’re going to see us well and truly distinguish ourselves in 12 weeks, which is when voting starts.”

Mr Jones says the party isn’t locking itself in to sticking with Labour but instead is willing to work with other parties if necessary to return to Parliament.

Coronavirus: National ‘belittling’ Kiwis’ efforts to wipe out COVID-19 – Grant Robertson

Muller said Jacinda Ardern should make a captain’s call and ease restrictions now given the 28 days requirement has been met.

“If we’re really a team of 5 million in the fight against COVID-19 then we all need to know what the game plan is,” Muller said.

    14

    • Muller really doesn’t get it. Copying all Cindy’s stupid terms and pronouncements (Be kind, team of 5 million, etc) will only piss off more and more voters.

  8. National really, really don’t want to win the General Election

So I wrote to my MP, the Leader of ACT and the Leader of the Opposition to express my disgust at the hypocrisy of the Monday “Everyone who isn’t here is a rayyyyssshiiisssssst” protesters.

    So Seymour’s office replied.

Nothing from my do- nothing, dead-weight local MP. Nothing from the new leader of the National party.

National are still in denial, they are behaving with all the voter contempt of a 3rd term government. They are still operating on the teenagers excuse “we was robbed”. They are completely unaware that they need to connect and rebuild trust with the electorate. They don’t understand what Steven Joyce used to say “Every piece of correspondence is an opportunity to influence a leader in the community”.

Well sure, I’m not even a hair on the arse of a community leader, but the deafening silence from the party that desparately needs my vote if they want to kick Labour out of office sure as shit has absolutely guaranteed my vote is lost to them until they sort their fucking shit out and recognise that our votes are earned – they are not theirs by right.

Fuck off Muller you are already a worse failure that Soimon (and that really is saying something after only two weeks), let’s have the next in line loser from the new natural party of opposition.

  9. I keep hearing about “Super Rugby Aotearoa” – wherever that is on the news. It looks like the rugby union have found a new and even more ludicrous way of proving their wokeness and alienating the few fans they have left. A shining example of “go woke go broke”.

  11. A balding guy with a wooden leg and hypersensitive about his appearance, gets invited to a fancy dress party and approaches a mail order costumer for an outfit to conceal his ‘infirmities’. After a few days a parcel arrives containing a tricorn hat and plastic parrot along with a note thanking him for his custom and advising him that ” the hat will hide his bald patch and all pirates have wooden legs”.
Irate with their insensitive customer service, he returns the package with along with a letter complaining that the costume would only highlight his peg leg. A few days later another parcel arrives on his doorstep containing a monks habit and a letter apologising for their earlier gaffe and advising him that the monks habit will hide his wooden leg and all monks have bald patches.

Incensed with their jocular attitude towards his appearance, he again returns the costume with a bitter letter of complaint pointing out that this idea only draws attention to his bald patch. After a week or so a package arrives which upon opening contains a tin of golden syrup and a note instructing him to pour the syrup over his head, stick his wooden leg up his arse and go to the party as a toffee-apple.

  13. Winston has said NO to many policies recently. He must be a festering sore in Labour’s policy plans but neither side can do anything about it other than call an early election. 😉

Government unveils action plan on small business rent disputes for Covid-19 affected tenants
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/government-unveils-action-plan-small-business-rent-disputes-covid-19-affected-tenants

If tenants and landlords can’t reach agreement on a fair rent reduction they will have to enter compulsory arbitration.

Little said the process announced today would provide guidance on how parties can negotiate “a fair proportion of rent and outgoings that would cease to be paid”.

This could be done in a number of ways including:

No rent being paid for a period
Reduced rent being paid for a period (including reductions of varying levels over successive periods)
A scheduled rent increase being deferred
Rent continuing to be paid unabated
    A mix of these options

While the prime minister, finance minister and Little have been pushing for a more compulsory arrangement, New Zealand First leader Winston Peters told RNZ last week he wouldn’t play a part in breaking the sanctity of contracts.

    10

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/money/2020/06/covid-19-strict-lockdown-s-economic-benefits-starting-to-show-economist.html

New Zealand’s fast and hard lockdown is starting to show signs it was the right move not just from a health perspective, but an economic one, according to economist Shamubeel Eaqub.

While the resulting recession is likely to be the deepest in decades, Eaqub says it appears the Government made the right call – not just in terms of health, with just 22 deaths out of a worldwide tally of 385,000 to date, but also the economy.

The $40 million will provide a subsidy of up to $6000 per arbitration, meaning in many cases, the Crown will cover about 75 percent of the arbitration cost.

National’s finance spokesperson Paul Goldsmith said small businesses have been the “victim of coalition dysfunction for two months while they’ve wrangled about what to do”.

He told Newshub the Government’s policy is “too little too late” and that what small businesses needed more than a month ago was “some cash in the hand to help deal with those ongoing business costs”.

In a stunning development, our office has learned that every single one of the St. Louis looters and rioters arrested were released back onto the streets by local prosecutor Kim Gardner.

    • For the past 5 weeks Angry has been trying to get his policy past the Winston First pre-electioneering policy road block. 😉

    • A part of a Bill that Andrew Little seems to be in cahoots with NZ First as it their Minister that introduced this.

…. “The internet brings many benefits to society but can also be used as a weapon to spread harmful and illegal content and that is what this legislation targets,” [Traci] Martin said in a statement.
      .
“Our laws need to reflect the digital age and the Government has worked with industry partners to create this bill, which will ensure law enforcement and industry partners can rapidly prevent and fight harm from illegal online content. This bill is part of a wider government programme to address violent extremism. This is about protecting New Zealanders from harmful content they can be exposed to on their everyday social media feeds.” ……….
      .
      Takedown notices and enforcement powers
First, the legislation introduces an ability to issue takedown notices and legally punish non-compliant websites. …….
      .
Now, select Government agencies – including the police – will be able to “issue a takedown notice relating to a particular online publication to an online content host if “the content is objectionable or if the person “believes, on reasonable grounds, that the online publication is objectionable”.
      .
For the purposes of this measure, “online content hosts” refers to companies “both in New Zealand and overseas that provide services to the public”.
      .
Companies issued a takedown notice must remove the content “as soon as is reasonably practicable”, although they may be asked to securely and privately retain a copy for later investigation.
      .
Non-compliant hosts can be taken to court and made to pay a fine of up to $200,000.
      .
Because these fines would be civil pecuniary penalties, <b< international partners that have mutual agreements with New Zealand could also enforce them. In a regulatory impact statement, Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) officials cited Australia as an example of a country that would be able to enforce such a penalty.
      .
These notices would only be issued for objectionable content and “would only be used in situations where other options for seeking removal of objectionable content would be ineffective”, the December Cabinet paper on the legislation states.
      .
“The Department of Internal Affairs may operate an electronic system to prevent access by the public to objectionable online publications,” the bill states.
      .
The system may “prevent access by the public to a particular online publication” or “the website, a part of the website, the online application, or similar on which an [objectionable] online publication […] is accessible”.
      .
As it stands, the Government only operates one internet filter, the Digital Child Exploitation Filtering Service (DCEFS), which blocks access to a number of sources of child sexual exploitation material.
The Cabinet paper indicated that the DCEFS would likely be brought within this new legal framework.
      .
The DCEFS is voluntary for participation by ISPs but the Cabinet paper made clear that
mandatory filters could also be created under the new framework.
      ……
      .
Meanwhile, InternetNZ came out strongly against the proposed filtering regime.
      .
“We do not think filtering at the ISP level is a viable option (whether optional or mandatory for the ISP),” chief executive Jordan Carter told Newsroom in February.
      .
“Motivated users can find ways to get around a filter. Internet filtering can also introduce security vulnerabilities into a network and, as currently scoped, will not prevent harms occurring on platforms.
The risk of overreach and therefore blocking legal and legitimate content is also high.
      .
The Cabinet paper acknowledges that “filtering is not a silver bullet” and “should constitute the final step in enforcement after all other options are exhausted”.
      .
The third component allows the Chief Censor to make interim classifications of objectionable material if he “believes that there is an urgent need” to “notify the public that the content of the publication is likely to be objectionable (on the basis of the interim assessment)” and to “limit harm to the public”.

So fines can be just called up, and/or 14 years jail.

  27. “Hey, hey, stick to your job, love…” Another Labour klutz

National MP Melissa Lee offended by Labour MP Tāmati Coffey saying ‘stick to your job, love’
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/06/national-mp-melissa-lee-offended-by-labour-mp-t-mati-coffey-saying-stick-to-your-job-love.html

Coffey could be heard responding: “Hey, hey, stick to your job, love… ordering around microphones.”

Lee responded saying she “wasn’t ordering” anyone around but was “simply suggesting” there be an extra microphone, and that she has a “name and it’s not ‘hey, hey'”.

The exchange happened during an interlude of the Economic Development, Science and Innovation Committee on Thursday which Lee and Coffey are both members of.

Lee, a list MP, told Newshub she didn’t think much of it at the time, but it was brought to her attention that a video of the exchange had been posted on social media, and when she re-watched it, she “heard the tone”.

    “I thought, jeez, that’s a bit rude… a bit dismissive,” she said.

  28. Sir Bob is at his best today as he shares his loathing of the “be kind” slogan with us. He suggests that it was:

……”the most infantile insult ever inflicted on the New Zealander public……..the culprit should be exposed then dragged out & publicly flogged”…..

    AND

……..“On that topic one thing’s certain and that is the fat woman (I’ll give 3 to one it was a woman and 5 to one, she’s fat) who came up with the “Be Kind” outrage, is a sociopath of the very worst kind, namely one who gains pleasure from torturing people” “……

  30. The examiner found Floyd had a number of injuries, including “cutaneous blunt force injuries” on his forehead, face and upper lip, “mucosal injuries” inside his lips, “blunt force injuries” on his shoulders, hands, elbows and legs and “patterned contusions of the wrists”, which were caused by handcuffs.

He suffered from three underlying conditions – severe “arteriosclerotic heart disease”, “hypertensive heart disease” and an “incidental” tumour on the left side of his pelvis.

Floyd had also contracted the coronavirus at some point. The report by Chief Medical Examiner Andrew Baker spelled out clinical details, including that Floyd had tested positive for Covid-19 on April 3 but appeared asymptomatic. The report also noted Floyd’s lungs appeared healthy but he had some narrowing of arteries in the heart.

The county’s earlier summary report had listed fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use under “other significant conditions” but not under “cause of death.” The full report’s footnotes noted that signs of fentanyl toxicity can include “severe respiratory depression” and seizures.
