  1. A known wolf that others are placing the mantle of mentally disturbed or was he going through a “reversion”?

…… security sources have told the BBC he was known to MI5. …..
….. He has at least one previous conviction for a “minor violent offence”, Sky News reported, and he is thought to have spent at least 12 months in jail.

He was being supervised by the National Probation Service, the Guardian reported, and court reports suggest a number of additional convictions for a man of the same name, age, and address.

The term terrorist is considered too loaded.

  2. If Megan Woods travels to Rotorua to check on the security of the hotels for quarantined travellers it’ll be a long stop and start journey unless someone is in the car to throw a blanket over her head as they pass the numerous bakeries between Wellington and Rotorua.
Holy crap she’s packing on the beef even faster than Willie Jackson and Kiritapu Allan.

  4. There was talk of testing our sewerage waters,
Already I understand this has been done to give a guideline of drugs in the population.
Testing for the CCP virus has started.
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/121386997/workers-who-tested-nzs-first-covid19-sample-hidden-figures-of-pandemic
Probably still to bench mark this to what can be figured to % of population infected.
The other catch is how much is flowing of the sea & beaches, where many may get down & dirty. 🙁

    Some Italian sewerage results.
    Note, Found in December.

….likelihood that the virus was present in the country at the end of last year,…..
…..Italy’s earliest reported domestic virus cases have been linked to a man who sought treatment in mid-February of this year, though some people arriving from abroad had been diagnosed with the disease earlier in the winter.

…… “may contribute to shedding light on the first phase of the virus’s circulation in Italy,” La Rosa said.
The results are consistent with similar tests carried out on waste water in Barcelona and with clinical tests on patients hospitalized in France, which showed biological traces of the virus as early as last December. …..

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-06-19/italy-had-coronavirus-in-sewage-as-early-as-december-study-says?srnd=premium
The graph seems to make a nice match up to the number of cases.

It would seem they have been able to back track to earlier times, or were they told to look for it then?
Certainly no going “early & hard” in this dirty area of Auckland.

    • The ultimate insult was that Melbourne bloke looking for a transfer who said;
“I would rather play for the Titans than the Warriors.”
Another poster on thus site reckoned that Kearney had the competence of Megan Woods’ dietician.

      • I’d have missed very few Warriors games in their first 15 years, but their inconsistency did me in. They’ve always appeared to have three teams – the A-team, the B-team and the schoolgirls team – and you didn’t know which one would turn up to any game, and they could swap around at half-time too.
Who in hell would even want to coach a bunch of overpaid party boys with not a shred of on- or off-field discipline or integrity?
Why would anyone waste 80 minutes a week watching them?

        • From my experience teaching Polynesian boys, they can play well but when things go wrong, they fall to pieces. They also get angry easily when loosing, and then it all turns to custard.

    • The Warriors are a bizarre phenomenon. We all know that NZ has by far and a way the best physical genetic pool for rugby-related sports. Everytime we hear from well-travelled RL players they always comment on the amazing facilities the Warriors have compared to the Aussie teams who have to fight for every dollar they can get from their fan base and their sponsors. Everyone also knows that the numbers turning up to run of the mill Warriors games is amazeballs compared to any similar performing Aussie team.

      But they continually underperform?

I for one am personally very grateful for the Gold Coast Titans woeful performance – if it wasn’t for them then the Warriors would surely be the least competitive team in the NRL.

  5. A glimpse of some commonsense.

“It’s not just black lives matter, white lives matter, Chinese lives matter, all lives matter, everybody’s life matters. God loves everyone — he never singled anyone out. Killing is wrong no matter who it is,” Ali said during an hour-long interview with The Post.

On police brutality, Ali defended law enforcement in general.

“Police don’t wake up and think, ‘I’m going to kill a n—-r today or kill a white man,’” he said. “They’re just trying to make it back home to their family in one piece. …..
…. “Black Lives Matter is not a peaceful protest. Antifa never wanted it peaceful. I would take them all out.”…..

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/06/covid-19-special-exemptions-requests-to-enter-nz-on-the-rise.html

According to officials, the number of daily arrivals has doubled in the past month, and the flurry has them searching for accommodation away from major centres.

“There are essential workers, people with special skills that we’re going to need. The government does need to let some people in from time to time and they are going to need to ensure they are isolated for the appropriate period.

“That’s okay as long as they’ve got a plan – and it doesn’t appear as though they have,” Woodhouse said.

    • As my old zoology professor told me years ago:
“No matter how well you plan the experiment, the animals will do as they please.”

Zoology has given me useful insights into the human political world. You may look out at a mudflat at low tide with the sun setting and think how beautiful it is, but I see the Somme at the height of battle, with vertebrates and invertebrates battling for territory and resources, and killing and consuming each other in the process.

  12. Some times we talk of colouring in , joining the dots, just add water colouring.
So it is with the Black Llves Matter which is trying to be a Revolution as has been based in other countries like the Ukraine orange revolution, Georgia Rose Revolution, and sort of like the Green Arab Spring.

There seems to be a flow of money, sometimes camouflaged, but often open by corporations, sometimes just tens of thousands, to hundreds of thousands, but accumulating to hundreds of millions.
That much money that some can be siphoned off to the blue democrat system for elections.

Do those elite see a benefit in socializing the capitalist system, or is really just building “crony capitalism” but masking it with socialism?
But will the left eat them, or is it as shown in SHAZ or now CHOPS, a too simple an organization that collapses on itself, while seeking a strong man saviour.

  15. I’ve just been reading about the poor cop Matthew Hunt who was killed in West Auckland:

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12341656

What a sob story. Sure it was a bloody tragic event and all that, but they’re pulling out all the stops on this one aren’t they?

The photo shows pretty personable young white guy…. so why in the video are the police gang colleagues doing a fucking native war dance? Is sticking your tongue out and grunting some kind of message to New Zealanders?

The weeping Muslim woman pretending to be the district commander is a nice propaganda touch too, don’t you think?

I couldn’t see any reference to the constable having a transsexual cousin, but I’m confident that one will come along shortly. Or maybe a lesbian senior officer who ‘trained’ him when he was a new recruit. Lots of woke possibilities here which I’m sure the Herald will have ready to drag out next time the cops raid a licenced firearm owner.

Funnily enough I haven’t see anything in the media yet suggesting that the cops should be actively taking guns off actual criminals… but hey, they’re too busy catching burglars, right?

    • Why would police officers do a haka in the first place? Is there a section in the police operations manual that provides directions? I assume they have to practice. What happens if a Christian (or Muslim) officer refuses on religious grounds to participate in a pagan ceremony like the haka? (Separation of church and state, enyone?)

Who within the police force would decide that a haka is appropriate, and on what grounds?

    https://disrn.com/news/tiktok-teens-say-they-sabotaged-trump-rally-by-reserving-thousands-of-tickets-and-not-showing-up

“It spread mostly through Alt TikTok — we kept it on the quiet side where people do pranks and a lot of activism. K-pop Twitter and Alt TikTok have a good alliance where they spread information amongst each other very quickly. They all know the algorithms and how they can boost videos to get where they want.”

    • Good for them. Nothing like showing the world that you can’t win the contest of ideas so you have to resort to other ways of showing up the opposition.

The left is bankrupt, bereft of ideas – it has nothing to offer other than lies and hatred. It was dead before Trump, it’s now a walking zombie apocalypse.

But we have to deal with the brainwashing in schools. All classrooms have to have video and be wired for sound – anyone who opposes that is in favour of child abuse – if it saves one child from being abused – surely it’s worth it? Only a pedophile could argue (sorry slipped into Green Party speak there for a second).

  19. 11 Reasons Why China’s Economy is Failing and in Terrible Shape – NEVER Trust Data Coming Out of China!

Well here’s the game and right now we are converging on a point and they understand this. We could take the whole thing down. We can take, the whole thing’s built on a house of sand…

If they [China] devalue their currency they are just going to flood more out. They got $3 trillion of reserves and trust me, in a New York second that thing would flood out in a second. That’s what their own people think about their economy. We’ve allowed these guys to push us around. We’ve allowed these guys to take the South China Sea…

This trade war is going to end in victory and what you’re going to see is a reorientation of the entire supply chain out of China…

  20. Merkel gave Antifa supporter 1 million euros for left-wing propaganda

The budget for Angela Merkel’s Chancellery totaled €3.19 billion 2020, of which more than half, €1.82 billion, went to the Chancellor’s Office for Media and Culture. The office was created by Merkel’s forerunner Gerhard Schröder (Social Democrat) in 1998 even though the German constitution explicitly delegates cultural affairs to the states and not the federal government. Despite its apparent unconstitutionality, it now serves as a kind of propaganda ministry for the German Chancellor, with its own world-wide public broadcaster Deutsche Welle (German Wave).

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/money/2020/06/coronavirus-get-ready-for-a-double-dip-recession-economist-cameron-bagrie.html

But now he thinks it’ll be W-shaped. That’s when an economy contracts but quickly bounces back to growth – then once again contracts, before finally resuming normal growth. It’s also known as a double-dip recession.

“There’s that old saying, ‘the good, the bad and the ugly’,” he told The AM Show on Monday. “At the moment we’ve probably got the bad, the good and the ugly.”

“My personal view is New Zealand got a bit of a kick in the guts from what’s happened in the past week, in regards to not containing our borders internally. That’s worrying in regards to what we could be like in the second half of this year.”

    • From too far a distance I sort heard on radio.
Something like, a 20% drop back.
Soon after there will be a 20% increase.
Then called it that will come close to only a couple of % fall all up.
      The so called ‘W’ shape.
Slip sliding away,, I would say.

      Tui Yeah right!
No the figures of prediction may not be wrong.
Yet no body has called out the end result, as if it ends up as normal. Yeah right.

It is the adding up of things, and these advisors and such are consulting with the government who just swallows anything. 🙁

      7

      0

      • The point is,
If I reduced your $100 by 20% then you are left with $80.
        A $20 dollar loss.

A 20% increase of that $80 only brings it up to by $16.
        So back to $96.
That is double the blurred, couple of % being a 4 % drop.

Try that exercise with a 50% drop, and then a 50% increase.
Many will have a big drop, and even that “bounce back” will smell more like that “whiffy dead cat bounce” if they are lucky.

Although in an act of what could be interpreted as rank hypocrisy, the Chinese foreign minister and even President Xi Jinping’s spokesperson have their own Twitter accounts.

  24. For three years this month the NZ media have been first, actively campaigning for a Labour-led government, then have been cheerleaders for more than two and a half years.

    In that time
    >there has been a shooting in Christchurch by a foreign national in which the police either failed massively or were instructed by higher powers to grant a licence to Tarrant- but never properly investigated by the NZ MSM
    >There has been an acute lack of transparency with Govt info sites shutting up shop
They even failed to produce a census such is the desire to not inform or communicate; but they sure can obfuscate.
    >The metrics have trended adversely with :
    -road deaths
    -gun crime
    -suicide
    -homelessness
    -lack of building
    -economic output
    and so on.
Please feel free to ID any posidive metric if you can.

    >The media have been cheerleaders for disarming the population of licensed gun owners while staying schtum on the gang growth (up 30% on 2 years, massive, another bad metric)
    >Tens of millions has been spent on Pike River for nothing
    >there was no noise over the canning of important roads esp. the already-far-too-late ones in the Wellington region; just some lame press releases
    >There are over 200 committees looking for a better mousetrap while the number of sewer rats in circulation grows
    >Covid 19 has been handled badly with completely misleading hugz and feelz stories and little investigation of massive systemic failure; almost daily lies from both the Prime Minister and Chief Executive of the Ministry of Health
    > the media has gleefully printed and repeated ad nauseum the story about poos on the wall at Middlemore hospital
There has been no real accountability or scrutiny.
    >the media love to report posidively when a scum bag says he would rape John Key’s daughter but if anyone days anything adverse about Ardern they jump in like the protection squad
(and so nepotistic is the relationship that the political reporter for the biggest TV station is married into the actual PM protection squad)
    Massive double standards.

    lo and behold.
In the last 48 hours Media have started questioning the failures.
    Andrea Vance, Tracey Watkins etc
    There is plenty to question.

Is this a dead cat bounce by media filth, and will Ardern/Robbers son step up with more money to buy their silence?
Will we the taxpayer even know if they do?

A couple who recently returned to New Zealand from the UK were baffled after waking up on Monday to an article claiming that their managed isolation facility – the Auckland Airport Novotel – had been placed under lockdown following the confirmation of a new case of COVID-19.

“Apparently all guests were contacted last night and we are now in lockdown… that’s news to us. We haven’t heard anything from the hotel, the NZ Defence Force or the Ministry of Health. What a wonderful confusing mess we are all in,” the man, who wishes to be identified as Tom, said to Newshub on Monday.

“We were told that at some point we’d be called – it sounds like we’re only going to get one test at some arbitrary point in our stay here,” he said.

“We’re getting a bit frustrated with just not knowing what the hell is going on or what the plan is.”

  26. Where is Muller? Id expect him to be front and centre screaming from the rooftops over this latest Covid fuck up. Get out there man..start highlighting the daily fuck ups right back to day one starting with the coalition agreement and the smokey back room dealings. • Apparently he gave a good speech in Parliament the other day about it (according to Fran O’Sullivan). Most of the Opposition seats were empty.
What a waste of time !!!
I’m on the National Party email list. He had a big meeting at the Kilbirnie Stadium the other day ( several thousand were there). I did not get notified that it was being held and there were no reports on it in the MSM.
National and Hooton are just hopeless.
Why didn’t they get a video recording of the speech in Parliament and/or the Kilbirnie meeting and email it out to their whole list etc. Send a copy to Ed to put on here —really basic stuff .

  27. May 2020.
-You cannot attend funerals of loved ones.
    -The borders are closed.
    -elimination is the goal

    June 2020.
-There are so many people returning/entering there is no control over them and the hotels in Auckland are full
-little testing is being done despite Bloomfailed lies
-the regime is so slack homeless people can jump on the end of a conga line and get 2 weeks in a luxury hotel
-the taxpayer is funding the buyout of all hotel rooms in Auckland to match the buyout of motels for the homeless because , well homelessness never disappeared under lying Ardoom; it got worse
-there are so may returning the hotels in the North Island will have the best winter occupancy in years – paid for by the taxpayer
-$20 Billion dollars to throw around never looked so good. Your as yet unborn niece or grandchild is paying for this. Buying an election so THEIR future in crap!
-now Govt people are advocating for people to fly into the country to attend the policeman’s funeral and NOT do 14 days isolation (not that that works, clearly) because, well, feelz

A fcuking insult to the people who could not bury their own immediate family members for months.

Remind me again why the fcuk we were locked up in our homes and the economy was crashed.
    This was never about health.
It was always a political move. There will be more in the next 13 weeks.

A 27-year-old man was badly hurt, police confirmed today.

He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

    • Its ridiculous that the “wider public are not at risk” say the police????? FFS what the hell is going on in New Zealand. Yes there is a risk, every day we are not protected from violence by the police in this country. One of their own was killed and another two shot at one a cop and the other? https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/two-charged-after-loaded-semi-automatic-gun-discovered-during-auckland-traffic-stop

The vehicle left the address a short time later and was pulled over by police a short distance away on Newton Road.

Police allege that the vehicle was stolen, with false plates attached to it, and that a loaded sawn-off shot gun was located in the front passenger seat area.

  30. “New Zealand has two more Covid cases today, with both infected people in isolation hotels after travelling from Islamabad and India.
Today’s new cases means there are now nine active Covid-19 patients in the country.” (From the NZ Herald)

It just gets better and better! I wonder if the BLM protests in Auckland a couple of weeks ago resulted in the spread of the coronavirus. I would expect some cases to have surfaced already (maybe we were lucky on that count).
In the meantime, we have more cases coming in from overseas. The only way to guarantee NZ being virus-free is to seal the borders, but this isn’t really practical.

If I was really cynical, I would expect the government to let the number of cases rise to the point where they would attempt to justify the calling off the general election in September “for health and safety reasons.”

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/rural/2020/06/hunters-up-in-arms-over-government-s-new-online-safety-ad-campaign.html

Hunters are up in arms over a Government ad campaign urging parents to talk to their children about what they’re watching online.

The Keep it Real campaign made headlines earlier this month for an ad featuring “porn stars” who turn up at a teenager’s house and talk to his mother about what her son has been watching online.

The series of ads are designed to give advice to parents so they can educate their children about the risks of pornography, bullying, grooming and inapprioriate content online.

  33. Where are the Nat’s? Campaigning against the destruction of our farmland and support of the country’s farming communities should already be loud and clear from the opposition.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/rural/2020/06/carbon-farming-a-waste-of-land-driving-rural-residents-away-farmers.html

There are warnings that New Zealand’s goal to be carbon neutral by 2050 is destroying rural communities.

Productive sheep and beef east coast farmland is being blanketed in pine trees that may never be harvested in a mission called ‘carbon farming’, where trees are grown for carbon credits, not for sale.

And east coasters fear an impending forestry boom will turn more of its communities into ghost towns.

  34. From Wickedpedo
Black pride is a movement in response to dominant white cultures and ideologies that encourages black people to celebrate black culture and embrace their African heritage. In the United States, it was a direct response to white racism especially during the Civil Rights Movement.

White pride, or white power, is an expression primarily used by white separatist, white nationalist, neo-Nazi and white supremacist organizations in order to signal racist or racialist viewpoints. It is also a slogan used by the prominent post-Ku Klux Klan group Stormfront and a term used to make racist/racialist viewpoints more palatable to the general public who may associate historical abuses with the terms white nationalist, neo-Nazi, and white supremacist.

Nice one…. fair balanced and libelous.

  35. China’s Big Surprise (Years In The Making): An EMP Attack?

So it is very bad news, more than a year after President Trump issued an Executive Order on Coordinating Resilience Against Electromagnetic Pulses, that the Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have done nothing to protect the national electric grid or other critical infrastructures that sustain the lives of 330 million Americans.

Instead, non-expert bureaucrats conduct endless studies and conferences to wrangle over technical issues — in effect, reinventing the wheel regarding EMP — that were resolved long ago by real EMP experts. The “coordination process” for national EMP preparedness is the same kind of bureaucratic fumbling that Washington regards as “action,” which gave us the biological warfare unpreparedness and inability to properly respond to the coronavirus pandemic.

Both Trump and the EU are turning on China for very similar reasons but with different timescales ahead of them. As an aside, I have been watching whats going on with the 3 gorge dam in China and reports are it is distorting quite significantly.
China apparently, were told by experts that it would be better to build 3 separate hydro stations and they would have a higher output. But nope.
A straight-crested concrete gravity structure, the Three Gorges Dam is 2,335 metres (7,660 feet) long with a maximum height of 185 metres (607 feet),
People were ordered to live down stream of the dam .To appease the engineers ego’s.
