  1. Posted late last night.
A warning from one who knows, who went through it
I vote for her to become Miss World. 🙂
Her speech seals the deal. 🙂

….. First it was pulling down the statues.
    Changing street names. …..
    Changing school curriculum. ….
    ….. & so on, & so forth. …..
    …… …..

    1 minute.

    I take this warning to heart, 🙂 🙂 🙂
She sees things as they are.
Good morning, to a good wake up call. 🙂

    • AND, its happening all around the Western World. This person (am I allowed to call her a person is that banned yet???) speaks so much sense. It is a great warning to us all, but only a few will see it as such, others will say Oh its not going to be like that when we do it. Of Course not. Great post Simpleton1 and yes a good wake up call to us all.

Maybe its time for the kids to go home and let their parents or grandparents explain to them the facts of life. Anarchy never ends well for anyone.

What can be expected from a wholly untruthful organisation like BLM .
Apparently the unseen “noose” was nothing more than a tow rope thrown on the car by one of the crew FFS.

  3. So David Rankin from northland maori Ngapuhi wrote an editorial titled “Turangawaewae, why it must come down” and the Herald published it and then withdrew it quickly.
Rankin stated that the place was used to enslave his people for cannibalism, sexual slavery and slave markets and should be taken down like some of the statues being removed because of colonisation .
This guy has got the cheek of the devil ,who the F–K does he think he is spreading truthfulness around our country ,this has gotta stop NOW.

  4. Black Lives Matter, but more like totally racist.

A protester got pushed to the ground by D.C. Police after putting his hands on an officer, according to an eyewitness.
The protester got in the officer’s face and ranted at him.

May have to scroll down to the half naked bun tattooed white guy ranting on that police officer that he has racially profiled.

  5. FFS, Drunken Garner spent a full ten minutes drumming up a theory about some homeless person living for two weeks at a quarantine facility being a National Party Lie .
Garner’s nose smells like the Labour Party arse crack more and more every passing day,it’s gotta be because of the upcoming extra dollars that the COL may be issuing to the media.

    • I saw it as critising what I saw as very good work by Michael Woodhouse, to make a diversion to protect the woeful non performance of David Clarke masquerading as a Minister of Health.

Minister Woods is not impressing me by generating the diversion from her colleague Health Ministerial failure to perform and the Prime Ministers failure to deal with that.

And the attack on Dr Ashley Bloomfield, who has seemingly taken on both roles as DG and Minister of Health, when flaws in the governments handling of the quarantine are exposed.

Bottom line for me is that the supposed great management of COVID-19 is exposed as a sham as the debt mounts up and the failed quarantine and poor border management is exposed.

The government has let us down badly. Did ego get above sound consideration and good sense?

Reality may be that immunity to the virus is limited and reduces rapidly for those who have had it yet lose antibodies soon after. That antibodies are quickly lost suggests a vaccine solution may not be realistic as an expectation.

      13

      • Do my eyes deceive me or has that once-cute Ashley Bloomfield aged about 10 years in the last three months. He’s dropped a good few kgs as well and is starting to look like he’s been sleeping rough.
David Clark however looks fed and well-rested ….

    • How did he ever get a job on tv3 morning TV? He speaks so quickly that it doesn’t register in his head before he speaks. I think shows how pathetic the reporters/journalists are in New Zealand. That he was the best they could come up with????? TV for me in the mornings is a no go area. Vomit material on both Chanels

      • Lizziep, its quite sad that NZ morning tv is probably watched by a lot of people for no other reason than its like “watching a train wreck” and in nz its a train wreck to protect the left. SHAME.

  6. Helps to understand some of the background of Trump’s foreign affairs stance, & why Bolton differs

….. when President Trump appointed Bolton to serve as his national security adviser in 2018, many were certain that working together, the two men would take America’s superpower stature to new heights.

Alas, the two men’s common sense of the general thrust of US national security policy did not translate into a good working relationship.
And truth be told, the person most responsible for their inability to work together was Bolton, not Trump. …..

    http://carolineglick.com/john-boltons-temper-tantrum/

Trump is more determined to do what he perceives to be the right thing, than what people realize.
Takes a new broom, to sweep things clean, and to be vigorous. 🙂

  7. In all honesty, I could’ve done a better job with no other qualifications than a bit of common sense.

“… of 55 people in 14-days of managed isolation who were allowed to leave early on compassionate grounds since June 9 when routine testing at day three and 12 was supposed to have started.

Yesterday’s new testing moves come as Clark and director-general of health Dr Ashley Bloomfield faced more questions about why, after a week, they still could not say how many of the 55 had been released early without having had a test.

National leader Todd Muller described it as a “national disgrace”.

The answer finally came through last night – 51 of the 55 had left early without a test, the Ministry of Health said.

But of the four that had had a test, two were tested on the day of departure so they must have been released by staff without knowing they were negative“.

  8. Charlottesville, “completely ignored by the mainstream media!”

A reporter asked Police Chief Smith if people were “afraid” of the police who came in to help secure the scene, Chief Smith snapped back,
“I would say that if someone was in fear because of the officer trying to take control of the scene, they should ask the people who were laying there bleeding, how much in fear they were.”

  11. For anyone who missed the question in parliament yesterday showing Cindy getting snarky when asked “how the country can take her seriously”? And then she goes on to lay down lies about her party being stringent on border security. 🤥🤥🤥

Muller asking Cindy why she isn’t doing her job. Trev and Winston jump to her defence. She doesn’t like being questioned.

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/todd-muller-questions-pm-whether-country-can-take-her-seriously-after-recent-covid-19-testing-bungles-v1?auto=6166516365001

“Does she really believe the country can take her seriously when she says at the core of her view is a strident border when the Prime Minister announces on the 8th of June there is mandatory testing but has to wait till yesterday to formally confirm it for the country?” Mr Muller asked.

    • The lockdown rattled into being after the levels were zapped through virtually over a weekend in March. Here I was assuming then that a responsible government would have promptly got the quarantine sorted as the problem was arriving by air and by sea.

To now find that quarantine was, and continues to be, such a shambles has wasted the lockdown effort and the stratospheric debt levels this inept outfit has imposed on us. Some businesses have failed. Unemployment is surging.

The myth that Covid-19 was well handled by the government is well and truely exposed as a sham.

  13. Do you remember the pandemic of 2014 / 2015? No, nor do I and yet the excess deaths during the winter months were as bad as the deaths from Covid 19. The 2014/5 pandemic was also a flu, A(H3N2), and the death rates “were significantly higher in all the major European countries including the UK than in previous years most noticeably in the over 65s. These death rates were similar to what has been experienced, or told we have experienced in 2020 but without the media hysteria, without a lockdown and social distancing” AND without trashing our entire economy and borrowing vast amounts of money our children and grandchildren will be paying off for decades.

We have been lied to and misinformed at every step, the question is why? I think many will be able to figure out the answer to that without too much problem.

    • A little more digging reveals:

From https://lockdownsceptics.org/ “In Germany, for instance, the coronavirus epidemic, which Angela Merkel described as the worst crisis to afflict the country since the Second World War, has killed less than a third of the people killed by seasonal flu in 2017-18.”

We all understand that the china virus (Covid19) is airborne, except for the watermelons who appear to think that it is a mutated form of anthropogenic carbon dioxide. Perhaps this is why our Comrade Jacinda engaged the Air Force to manage it. Sadly Red Helen got rid of all our fighter aircraft which would have been of much more value in this crisis than our current Minister of Health.

  16. In response to the statement “black lives matter” if you apply reasoned logic, you can deduce that “all lives matter” or “white lives matter.”

However, the Left is anti-logical and anti-reason. They have unilaterally decreed that the statements “all lives matter” or “white lives matter” are those of white supremacists, and that anyone who utters these verboten statements shall be put to death.

If you are hushed by the Left’s decrees of what or what not you can say then you have abandoned reason and have capitulated to the baying crowd.

  17. So the NASCAR noose is found to be a garage door opening rope that had been there at least since October last year:

“The FBI learned that garage number 4, where the noose was found, was assigned to Bubba Wallace last week. The investigation also revealed evidence, including authentic video confirmed by NASCAR, that the noose found in garage number 4 was in that garage as early as October 2019,” the bureau said. “Although the noose is now known to have been in garage number 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage number 4 last week.”

Guaranteed minimum income needed to cure loneliness epidemic after COVID-19 – Helen Clark Foundation
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/06/universal-basic-income-needed-to-cure-loneliness-epidemic-after-covid-19-helen-clark-foundation.html
“Loneliness is clearly linked to income and employment status. Given the mass loss of both income and employment caused by COVID-19, ensuring people have stable, sufficient income and employment opportunities will be critical to buffer against the effects of not only economic recession, but also high levels of loneliness, isolation, and psychological distress.”

Critics say a UBI would result in fewer people bothering to get jobs. There’s been limited real-world research into whether this is the case, but the evidence so far suggests it doesn’t – in fact, a Finnish study found unemployed people who received a regular payment, regardless of whether they worked or not, ended up working more than those stuck on traditional unemployment benefits.

“We recommend that the government implement an effective guaranteed minimum income for all New Zealanders to enable everyone to live with dignity,” Walker’s report says.

Peters also said he supports the prospect of making returnees pay for managed isolation rather than the Government footing the bill, because Kiwis overseas have had plenty of time to come home.

“Here we are 23 June and they are starting to turn up at home and my real point is, why didn’t you come much sooner?”

It’s not rocket science folks! You are going to have sort of Disaster sometime, sure as shit!
You just don’t know which is coming next!
After all if you go into lockdown, you have to come out the other end. As an example.
All departments should have had written down instructions for a multitude of Disasters, all ready to go. From earthquakes, floods, nuclear war and any other thing you could
    thing off!
Then prepare for it, alot of the stuff would be used in any disaster.
Then count and list what you have and check it occasionally!
It’s not rocket science, just common sense. Don’t they teach that at uni now days!

“New Zealand officially has the world’s dumbest borders,” Seymour, MP for Epsom, said. “The cost is not just the risk of COVID-19. We are so far from smart borders that anyone who needs openness just took a massive setback.”

Seymour said Health Minister David Clark should have been asking “the basic questions”.

“Had the Health Minister been physically and mentally present, all he had to do was to ask Ashley Bloomfield ‘these people who are released early, you’re testing them, right?'”

A record 9174 tests were done on Tuesday.

But Seymour believes testing should be more readily available after a constituent reported waiting for four hours to get tested at the St Lukes Community Based Assessment Centre in Auckland.

“People already face poor incentives to be tested. Some people can’t afford to be taken out of action for two weeks by a positive test,” Seymour said.

“Making them wait four hours makes it worse. How many people in the queue that day simply turned around after a few hours and went home, potentially spreading the virus?”

  28. Lunchtime sillyness.

Eastern cuisine, especially Japanese cooking, has a wider range of texture than Western food.
One particular texture I have not encountered in New Zealand food is that of “slime.” Most Westerners will throw up their knives and forks in horror when faced with a slimey food (and then throw up).

Here’s one of my favorites: natto (fermented soy beans). This is not for soy boys…
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktXTlG9_zdQ

Footnote: Japanese eggs are safe to eat raw (don’t try this in NZ) and cost about $NZ3.60 at the local supermarket (one dozen basic (non-free-range) eggs would be of inferior quality and cost about $NZ5.90 here in Auckland).

Damien Grant runs Waterstone Insolvency, which specialises in winding up companies, and he is also an occasional columnist.

Speaking this morning to TVNZ1’s Breakfast, Mr Grant said he is a strong critic of the Government giving out the subsidy to struggling businesses – but also said he took the subsidy for his own company.

Waterstone Insolvency claimed $63,266.40 from the wage subsidy scheme for nine employees.

“The Government’s passed a law and it says if you meet these criteria you’re entitled to the money – I met the criteria, I’m entitled to the money and I’m going to keep it.”

  30. Here we have a demand that Indian and Japanese people be “held accountable” by white people because a few white people don’t agree with their preferences. To fight racism !!! 🤣

“Within Indian and Japanese cultures, skin whitening and bleaching is encouraged. Sharma-Barrow said the idea that having darker skin was viewed as less attractive was wrong, and people within those cultures needed to change their mindset and be “held accountable”.

    • I wake up from my afternoon nap, Kea and this is what you have prepared for me. (Arigato-gozaimasu…)

This deserves a comment. Ludo Consulting owner, Melanie Sharma-Barrow (aka Karen Sharma-Barrow, with the double-barrelled surname and patronizing attitude to go with it) is clueless.

“Within Indian and Japanese cultures, skin whitening and bleaching is encouraged. Sharma-Barrow said the idea that having darker skin was viewed as less attractive was wrong, and people within those cultures needed to change their mindset and be “held accountable”. Many cultures within Asia are still pandering to the “white-blonde stereo-type,” which has been projected by the fashion and beauty industry for decades,” she said.

This is true, but not for the reason that this Karen suggests. In Japan (as in India and China and South Korea), a darker skin is seen as less attractive. Can anyone guess why? Hint: the reason is logical and pragmatic and is based on perceived social status.

The same reason why the fishermen (working poor) have houses by the sea, but the wealthy in Japan have traditionally had their summer holiday houses in the highlands of central Japan (such as Karuizawa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAlg-y6DomY)

      • I had a young Taiwanese friend who enjoyed the NZ outdoors and sunshine. She told me her father took her to the doctor in Taiwan because he was worried about her being “too dark”. She was rather more pragmatic about her deeper colour preferring to enjoy herself rather than cover up for status.

Mongols MC raids: Seventeen gang members face more than 260 charges as three more arrested
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/06/mongols-mc-raids-seventeen-gang-members-face-more-than-260-charges-as-three-more-arrested.html

Three more Mongols MC gang members have been arrested after another bout of police search warrants.

“Eighteen search warrants have now been conducted over the past two days as part of the final phase of Operation Silk,” Det Supt Greg Williams said.

“A further three loaded AK47 and two military-style semi-automatic firearms were located [on Wednesday].

“This brings the total number of firearms seized over the past two days to 13.”

Police said at least six recent shootings in the area have been linked to the motorcycle gang.

  32. If the public couldn’t work out this was bullshit just from a different person today they are as thick pig shit . It was first Jacinda Ardern who fronted the lies a week ago and then left it for the the Health Director to bullshit and cover it for the rest until it was published they couldn’t come with figures of how many were let go without testing and obviously the heat got to hot for Ashley Bloomfield that he had one assistant’s front today with more lies to con those that are not happy.

This has a long way to run and the more that told could really come back to bite Jacinda and Ashley on the arse.

  33. DairyNZ can’t fill 1000 farming jobs and an employment agency has seven labouring jobs available, no experience required. Why can’t they fill these jobs and yet the bene applications are through the roof? The green COL encouraging protesters to bag the dairy industry for years won’t have helped even though the pay rate isn’t too bad these days and certainly much better than the amount you get on the dole.

  34. Must be their ideology that drives the Greens as I would have thought prisoners would be mostly be Labour voters?

Green Party wants all prisoners to have the vote, not just those serving less than three years
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/green-party-wants-all-prisoners-have-vote-not-just-those-serving-less-than-three-years

The proposed law change, named the Electoral (Registration of Sentenced Prisoners) Amendment Bill, will allow prisoners with sentences of less than three years to vote in the general election.

However, she added it “still means that a large number of people we hold in our prisons don’t have the basic human right of casting a vote during election, which our Supreme Court agrees is a serious breach”.

“Prisoners are already carrying out their punishment by being in prison, she said. “Denying them basic human rights to access democracy only serves to further ostracise them from their community.”

    • Well of course it is not a basic human right. It is a right conferred by the community to members of said community to enable the election of officers. That same community says that if you piss us off by offending aginst the rules we make then you lose that community right.

Its a cumminty right. Thought that a fucking dumb Green tart would figure that out.
But no to dumb to even do that.
Perhaps she doesn’t understand English comprehension.

  38. Japan Just Knocked The U.S. Off The Top Of A Ranking Of The World’s Most Powerful Supercomputers

A widely followed ranking of the world’s most powerful supercomputers has put a Japanese machine called Fugaku at number one, ousting Summit, a U.S. supercomputer at the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

According to the Top500 list, Fugaku, which is made by Fujitsu and housed at the RIKEN Center for Computational Science in Kobe, is now faster than Summit when measured against a benchmark that assesses how quickly supercomputers can perform calculations central to large-scale computing applications. Summit has held the top slot since mid-2018, when it displaced a Chinese supercomputer called Sunway TaihuLight.

  39. Bloody COL refusing to take responsibility again. Stupid boy Clark strikes again.

Health Minister David Clark brutally throws Dr Ashley Bloomfield under the bus while standing right next to him

Newshub’s footage captured Dr Bloomfield’s face after Dr Clark told reporters, “The Director-General has accepted that the protocol wasn’t being followed. He has accepted responsibility for that.”

Newshub asked the Health Minister why he won’t take some of the responsibility.

“The Director-General has already acknowledged that the system didn’t deliver here.”

  40. “Handbrake” Peters strikes the COL agreement again.

New Zealand First has put the brakes on proposed changes to commercial leases, forcing Labour to turn to National for support.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/nz-first-puts-move-help-covid-19-affected-businesses-their-rent-hold

The bill aimed to help businesses struggling after the Covid-19 pandemic was due to be debated in Parliament today.

“Why use the word blocking?” NZ First leader Winston Peters said today when asked if his party stopped the proposed changes. “We’re still working on it, that’s why we’re here, to make sure we have policies that are sound and do work.

“We’re not blocking anything, we’re just making sure the policy is a sound, commercial proposition in fairness to the contractual laws in New Zealand.”

It comes after initial disagreements saw negotiations stretch out across months, while business owners pleaded with the Government for assistance with rent. It also comes as Auckland’s light rail development has been halted today.

“It’s not just on the light rail project, it’s a Government that is tearing itself apart,” National leader Todd Muller said. “Any substantive policy piece gets announced, yet by the time it gets through to the House they’re at war with each other and can’t sing off the same song sheet.”

  41. A growing expensive problem for the poor old taxpayer!

Number of imprisoned gang members exploding in New Zealand
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/06/number-of-imprisoned-gang-members-exploding-in-new-zealand.html

About 38 percent of inmates are gang members or affiliates – more than 3500 people. But over the past few years, some gang numbers have dramatically risen. The Mongrel Mob, Tribesmen and Bloods are all up by at least 60 percent, while Head Hunters is up 150 percent and the Killer Beez has increased 126 percent.

“We’re seeing more violence. We’re seeing more violence perpetrated by gangs, particularly in these younger gangs that are coming through,” he told Newshub.

On the outside, gang numbers are ballooning too, nearly doubling in five years. The National Gang List now covers 27 groups.
