  1. Good grief have a look at Terry Opines latest video offering about Ardern, for your own safety do it before eating breafast.
Its amazing how the racist Maori Marama Davidson has swivelled 180 degrees and is now talking to “all NZrs” in her efforts to get reelected ,the fake POS that she is, she despises whitey.

      • Alice ,yes thats the video I commented on earlier ,if you can keep your breakfast down its well worth watching ,Joseph Goebbels would’ve had people executed for outdoing his propaganda .
My guess is that shite is what was produced when the longfaced creature took photographers with her to the UN at taxpayers expense because ” it needed to be done professionally”, tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars to produce a labour party campaign add .
Im fairly sure that is actually illegal.

Just about all all pollies rort the system. Always have, but at least we are not the US or the Philippines where the scale of rort makes NZ look like kindy. So I actually don’t give a rat’s arse.

  2. I wish the Media would challenge Ardern on the utter BULLSHIT she tried to propagate a couple of days ago re the Women’s Football World Cup.
The Mad Queen had NOTHING to do with the successful bid from Aust and NZ.
Yet Ardern and her Labour Spin teams desperately tried to portray the successful bid as ‘OMG Jacinda’s done it again’
I detest this dreadful lying woman like I have never detested a politician in NZ before.
The sooner she fucks off to her beloved United Nations the better…

  3. One can figure that the power of this is already in NZ, and can readily be activated.

It’s under the idea of this social credit system that Andrew Torba, CEO of the free speech software company Gab, is warning …….. ……… , a version of this Orwellian system is being deployed in the US by corporations “who today have in many ways more power, data, and control over our lives than our government does.”

payment processor Visa, which blacklisted Gab last week and prevented it from processing credit and debit card transactions, has also blacklisted his family.
    https://reclaimthenet.org/gab-andrew-torba-visa-blacklisted-family-hate-speech/

So how much “social credit” control will these corporations exert.
This insidious control is there and only needs to be “triggered”

  4. We do not speak of the “social events”

We have noticed in particular, a spike in cases among teenagers between the ages of 16 to 19 that appear to be from them attending social events,” Farley said.

What social events would they be during the past fortnight or so? hmmm
Oh well., they are young & dumb, & will recover? and enjoy killing others, one way or the other. 🙂

  5. Duncan Garner: It’s time to completely shut New Zealand’s border – returning Kiwis included
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/06/duncan-garner-it-s-time-to-completely-shut-new-zealand-s-border-returning-kiwis-included.html

Sadly, the numbers in quarantine just keep rising as Kiwis meander and dawdle home some 90 days after we went into lockdown, and even longer since we were warned it was time to come home.

It was way back on March 18 when Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters said, “If you can get home – come home now”.

I think those that are still returning are taking the mickey and putting all our sacrifices at risk. New Zealanders have had plenty of time to get their backsides home if that was their intention.

    • ……”New Zealanders have had plenty of time to get their backsides home if that was their intention”…..

Right on! If they’re only coming “home” now it’s only because the dole here pays better than it does where they have chosen to live & pay tax so far. We’re safe to consider that a delay of 90 days shows their true regard for their country of birth or the place they bought citizenship.

    • waikatogirl, no prizes for guessing the ethnicity of the hundreds that just plain refused to have tests no doubt because it was about to be administered by a female.
People that were not born here or haven’t been in the country for twelve months should be told to stay where they are, these folk from third world shitholes are taking advantage of our generous social welfare systems ,its a disgrace, and we have pathetic weak leadership that allows it to continue.

    • Garner is in la la land. So we have had a few positive cases –when was the last death? How many people died of pneumonia in the last few months? Time to get things in perspective. This virus is never going to go away or be eliminated!!

Garner should be praying for the borders to remain open and be fully open asap because his job depends on it. TV3 was in trouble before all this happened, it is now in ICU on life support. Keeping the economy on a ventilator will ensure Garner will be out of a job before Xmas.

      • TV3 should start playing the ‘Sixth Sense’ on a regular basis:

    • My son is in Peru. Peru went into lockdown “hard and early” with 12 hours notice, enforced by the army in the streets. Getting home wasn’t an option, and they are still locked down even when it lifts, getting home will be a problem, as there weren’t many flights in the good times. Flights are via Chile, which is also closed.
Not all kiwis overseas and coming back have been living it up in Oz and now coming back as they lost their job and there is no benefit there

  6. So what else have you been conned by or lost your reasoning?

…. said she had felt ‘duped’ after being surrounded by anti-nuclear campaigners until she read more into the radioactive fuel.

Mother-of-two Zion said: ‘The facts didn’t really change, but once I understood them I did change my mind.’ ….
….. ‘I have a long history of campaigning on environmental issues, most recently as a spokesperson for Extinction Rebellion UK. …

‘Now, I have quit the organization to take up a position as a campaigner for nuclear power.’ ….

…. ‘Surrounded by anti-nuclear activists, I had allowed the fear of radiation, nuclear waste and weapons of mass destruction to creep into my subconscious. I realized I had been duped into anti-science sentiment all this time.’ …
    https://climatechangedispatch.com/extinction-rebellion-spokeswoman-quits-to-join-pro-nuclear-group/

A few facts finally got through, but does she really do any thinking?

  7. Are the taxpayer funding ‘visitor centres’ for every tribe to spew their revised propaganda from? Will the tribes pay tax on all the tourist entry fees of those who venture in to be told about the clever early immigrants?

Parihaka given $14 million to preserve, share history of non-violent resistance

The settlement of Parihaka in Taranaki is being given $14 million to build a visitors centre to preserve its history of non-violent resistance.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/parihaka-given-14-million-preserve-share-history-non-violent-resistance

The centre, funded from the Provincial Growth Fund, is also expected to create up to 130 jobs and help boost the local economy.

It will house taonga and an exhibition of the Parihaka story as well as providing a large space for wānanga, conferences and tour groups.

The historic site was attacked and occupied by Crown troops in 1881, and the Crown apologised in 2017.

Regional Economic Development Minister Shane Jones said the invasion caused “generations of grief” for the people of Parihaka.

    • Have been up that way twice – around 1972 and then again 2018 – I do intend to go again, a shorter time gap will be required, but would certainly not bother to pay to go into a Maori Visitor Centre.

      • If you really want to read some great history that hasn’t been cleansed, try popping up to Marsden Cross. The story of Samuel Marsden is truly amazing and in the end totally futile. No doubt he was a very devout bloke who never gave up despite endless set backs but his grasp of geography and ultimately where he planned to put the new capital was a complete disaster.

  8. A very good article back grounder on the issues, complexity & tensions between India and China.

There is nothing more sure than “change” but it will need wise heads to figure just what is important in the “trade offs” and where to make the stands.
Some of the tentacles of this situation comes very close to NZ though not named.

  9. So I see Jenny May Coffin is wailing that when she grew up there were ‘no brown faces on NZ TV’ etc etc!
Jenny May is only one year older than me- I distinctly remember that when I grew up the What Now Presenters, the After School Presenter, the RTR Countdown presenter and various newsreaders were Maori…Sir Howard Morrison was everywhere, so was Billy T James…
Why do people insist on rewriting history to suit their political agenda?

    12

    0

    • The problem is that maori people are so much a part of many things, and got there on merit.
They are not seen in what was a really a colour blind NZ.
They simply got on with life, and many made the most of things.

The “woke scientific” studies put a slant on things so that people remember things as:-
“It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.”
      ― Ronald Reagan.

And so this “victimhood” is bought to life via the academia, educational institutes, with their cultural marxism, as per example “The Rape of Reason” the far left activities in the Polytechnic of North London (PNL) in the early 1970’s.
      https://www.fahrenheit211.net/2013/07/22/book-review-the-rape-of-reason-by-keith-jacka-caroline-cox-and-john-marks-churchill-press-1975-sbn-902782169/

Then the academia leveraged through the educational systems, then journalism, and general media became afflicted.

“The Long March Through the Institutions: How the Left Won the Culture War & What To Do About It”
      https://youtu.be/oONbN7ps9Go
      29 mins 33 secs.

Eventually individual by individual, they put the cogs into place for their machinations,
The history of this, not only in to government bureacracy, but also into corporations, as mentioned by the Odakyu-sen raising the questions about AirNZ.
This goes into corporations now being ready to use “social credit” controls on the populace, with out even government control.

    • Sounds like TV NZ are laying out a path to introduce 3M
      >>Much More Maoris
      on TV
I thought there was enough already.
Wont affect me. I don’t watch it anyway.

      As others were saying :
…Marama Isabel Martin (née Koea, 3 April 1930 – 10 July 2017) was a New Zealand television and radio broadcaster. She was the first person seen on colour television in New Zealand, and was the last person to appear on NZBC TV…..

      the irony here
Marama Martin was the first to appear on colour television in NZ
Rock on to 2020 > The future looks brown

      TVNZ 2025. Paraphrasing Henry Ford”-
You can have any colour you like, so long as it is brown.
Sepia TV is coming to the woke

Will excessively woke, stuttering Johnny Campbell get out the brown Kiwi Polish to keep his job or will things stutter to a halt for him?

  10. “George Floyd protests: How Ōwairaka/Mt Albert tree protest became a flashpoint for racism, colonisation debate”

“Honour the Maunga spokesperson Anna Radford said framing the protest as racist was a Honour the Maunga spokesperson Anna Radford said framing the protest as racist was a “cynical weapon for suppressing important questions and debate.”
(behind a Pay wall in the NZ Herald)

So, the next move by Maori activists or Maori iwi administrators seeking to suppress dissent and debate is to label any questioning of Maori authorities “racism”. This surely indicates that they can’t debate the issues or put up a reasoned argument.

This will not end the issue. It will polarize people along racial lines.

  11. Here’s another question.
The mass e-mails I get from Air New Zealand and other organizations almost alway begin with a Te Reo greeting.
    Why is that?
Who in the company (or outside the company) deemed this necessary?

Is it a compulsion or is it a fad?

    Who is behind this?

  12. Bye bye Paula

Former National Party deputy leader Paula Bennett to retire from politics at 2020 election
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/06/former-national-party-deputy-leader-paula-bennett-to-retire-from-politics-at-2020-election.html

Bennett, who is currently MP for Upper Harbour, had already announced in August 2019 her intention not to seek re-election for her seat because she wanted to focus on her new role as National’s campaign chair.

But Bennett lost her new campaign role after a National Party leadership takeover in May. Todd Muller took the leadership from Simon Bridges while Auckland Central MP Nikki Kaye replaced Bennett as deputy leader.
    Related News

Muller appointed senior National MP Gerry Brownlee as the new campaign chair.

Bennett was subsequently pushed down the National Party’s ranks to number 13, but she held on to her drug reform and women portfolios.

The 51-year-old, who served as Deputy Prime Minister between December 2016 and October 2017, now intends to leave Parliament.

“It is time for the next chapter,” Bennett said in Auckland on Monday.

Even Bridges was calling her Paula Benefit up to the end.
She had it pretty charmed despite having no discernible talent.
She was so undercooked Key sent her off to management courses in US Universities in the first term .
Her daughter was hanging about with gang associates.
No party is hard on crime in NZ let alone organised crime.

She was list only in 2020 and with Notionals current rating she would not get back in.

She will BS her way into a decent role like Mike Moore did.

  14. I see NZ Muslims are asking for the details of interviews with Brenton Tarrant to be released.

They want to know “why” he targ
    eted them.

If Ardern had not made it a crime to read his explanation document, they would know why. They would also know he was:

    1. A leftist.
    2. Not a supremacist.
    3. A greenie.
    4. Did not hate Muslims or say a bad word about them.

NZ Muslims have been more sensible and dignified than the alt left extremists in government. I think they deserve credit for that.

They also objected to Ardern’s political stunt to hold a memorial. And for her fake hijab wearing photo shoots.

    • A good memory thetr Kea.
A pity you can not parrot regurgitate it all from memory. 🙂
Perhaps a bit of worry that the censorman may then want that colourful head posted on a pole.

So what is inpiring the road blocks? that target NZers?
Then the Ak47’s the grenade, explosive devices? being found in NZ.?

Does the Burning, Looting, Marauding, manifesto and leaders pronouncements not inspire just a few liberals to mouth off, light fires, loot, aggressively threaten others.

“While this screed will not be persuasive to the vast majority of readers, it was not written for them.
It was written for the small number of readers who are already on the pathway to violent extremism.

      • This is a total fabrication:

        “The Great Replacement classification FAQs
The Great Replacement (sometimes referred to as the ‘manifesto’) promotes and supports criminal acts including mass murder, terrorism and the killing of children. It tries to glorify the writer and inspire others towards terrorist violence. It identifies possible groups, individuals and locations for attack, and references means of carrying out attacks.”

        What lying pieces of shit.

    • Kea,
If Brenton Tarrant “did not hate Muslims or say a bad word about them,” then why did he kill so many of them at their place of worship?
Did he merely want to make a political statement against the demographic “terraforming” of New Zealand society? (I would have thought Auckland a better example…)

Disclaimer: I and my family have benefited greatly from the sinicization of Auckland, even though we are not Han Chinese.

      2

    • I won’t say everyone is bullshitting but find me some in the decision tree who is not lying.

Herr Doktor Clark knew the response was hopeless so went to the beach, mountain biking etc.
He did not take it seriously.

Ardern only sort of/maybe/a little bit ‘shut the borders’ in Mid March under duress.
The MOH did not take the outbreak seriously and the lies that have emanated have been the dominant element of the response.

It is sad but probably deliberate they did a poor response via the health system while denying people access to scheduled heart, cancer etc diagnosis and treatment.
One has to wonder, given many of the DHBs were over budget in 2018/19, that it was a way of coming in under budget for 2019/20. Stop spending for 2 months.
      Cynical but likely.
Given their lack of action for Meningitis and Measles it is likely they took a cynical approach.
Just as MOH lied about regular 2020 flu vaccine, availability of regular medicines etc.

‘ They’ – who is actually in charge- said they would test twice > day 3 and day 12 for the returning people, did not test , then used that factor – no tests, no bad numbers – to lie constantly.

That lot have lied so much they do not know which way is up.

When I was bothering to listen in March they said we will > test test test
      all they did was
      > lie, lie, lie.

      6

  15. They don’t have a fucking clue!

……”While the border is closed to all but NZ citizens and residents, employers can apply to bring in workers from overseas if they are deemed “critical”.”…….

    AND

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12342782&ref=recommendedv1

So, while the hoi polloi sat at home in their bubbles counting the ceiling tiles the well connected & their germs waltzed through our borders at will, seemingly untested, probably unnoticed & certainly unrecorded.

Weeks of listening to the Mad Queen’s advice with pleas for the puke inducing “team of 5 million” to co-operate, the economy destroyed for little purpose & now the dozy bitch can’t tell us who is or who isn’t in the country.

Ok then. In November 2016 the day after the Kaikoura quake there was a huge storm and Wellington was cut off. There were already buildings in disrepair. Hgy 1 and 2 were closed.

  16. From the Taxpayers Union today..

“The Green Party have just received fawning media coverage for their newest policy package: a new tax on wealth, higher income taxes, and massive hikes to benefits.
At the very time we need to get New Zealand working, Marama Davidson and the Greens want to make it easier to stay on the dole and hike taxes for those creating the jobs!

If polling doesn’t change, these taxes will become reality after the election.

Will you help us block the Green Party from advancing its tax-and-spend agenda?
Currently, the Government can effectively ignore the Greens’ wacky ideas. The Greens are not a full coalition partner like New Zealand First. But recent polls show New Zealand First failing to re-enter Parliament, meaning Jacinda Ardern will have to bring the Green Party into Cabinet to form a new Government. Remember, no party under MMP has ever achieved a Parliamentary majority alone.

In exchange for supporting Labour, the Greens can demand anything they want.

The wealth tax will be a dream for tax lawyers and accountants, but hell for taxpayers. A pensioner who owns a family bach, for example, will get whacked even if they struggle with weekly bills. Every business owner would be required to value their business annually – and most business owners would pay tax even in years they turn a loss!

Meanwhile higher income tax rates of 37% and 42% will discourage entrepreneurs from growing the economy and creating more jobs.
It would be madness to introduce these aggressive and anti-productive policies during a recession, but this will happen if the Greens hold the balance of power.”

    13

    0

    • Do I get this right?
Are you required to pay this tax yearly if your assets are too much!
Would this not make people look at reducing their tax load?
I sure there will be many creative ways to do this!

      4

      0

      • Yes but they are too stupid to know about the 66% top tax rate in NZ up until the mid 1980s.
19 tax bands from all the fiddling.

There were ways and means to reduce.
        They shall return.
        Back to the Future. 1985.

If you bought your house in 1990 for $150k in Auckland the chances are it is worth 1.5 million today
        That is the market moving.
If you sell it you still need to pay that to buy an equivalent house.
        It is not a profit.
But, if it is clear of mortgage by now (30 years later)then you have an asset of 1.5 million
        Ergo, 500,000 over the limit.
Tax at 1% is $5000 cash every year.

It is a commie destruction policy.
        Britain did this before Thatcher.
They taxed their citizens to poverty.
In 60 years they went from dominant to whiny little bitches begging to get into the common market.

The newly rich music millionaires – Beatles, Stones, etc often made their residence elsewhere.
Income tax top rate was 90% in 1970.

The Scandinavian countries also has this wealth (hate) tax in the 1960s 70s and 80s.
The last to drop it was about 2007, from memory.
It is brutal esp if you are a pensioner in your own home and barely reliant on the state.

        This is a commie move.
They want to make people reliant on then and punish those who are not.

Marama Davison and her feminazi crazy colleagues are evil scum.
The South American prick on their list is no better and has pure 1970s South American communism in his diseased veins.

        5

        0

    • Not even slightly interested in paying any more tax and definitely not remotely interested in any form of wealth or taxation on assets.

I am paying far too much now. Companies pay too much now.

Reduce government expenditure if you fancy giving more to those who do not pay tax – do not expect me to pay for handouts. I’ll accept paying for justified hand ups in deserving and justified cases but this dumb notion from Marama Davidson about not even asking before handing out benefits is simply ridiculous.

The Greens demonstrate why list member only parties are not a reasonable proposition to impose on taxpayers. Elected representatives, determined by electorates and seeking re-election from time to time, is a lot more healthy than this current MMP shambles. Less list members and more actually elected representatives selected by electorate vote, seems a better proposition.

  18. Can the CCP exert pressure on New Zealand Chinese who have relatives back in the “old country”? Does the NZ government have protocols in place to deal with such an event?

Here’s a hypothetical case. Auckland has a significant proportion of ethnic Chinese. Imagine that a young Chinese fellow (we’ll call him “Steven”) is born in Auckland in 1995. He grows up to be a fine young Kiwi. In due course, he decides to enter politics and becomes a list MP for National. He is successful. So far, so good.

One day, Steven is contacted by an agent of the CCP who offers to guarantee the safety of Steven’s cousin and her family in Shanghai, provided that Steven supplies the agent with certain information that Steven has access to.

What is Steven to do? What protocols does the NZ government have to help Steven?

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home.html

National’s leader says he finds it “extraordinary” that amidst the economic damage wreaked by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Greens’ philosophy is to “squeeze the people who have worked hard all their lives and are working hard now”.

“They’re exactly the kind of people that you need to drive the economy and the recovery – not tax them out of existence. It’s just such a fundamentally different philosophy between our view and theirs.”

Muller says the Greens’ philosophy is “tied at the hip with Labour” – but Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has moved to distance her party from the Greens’ announcement over the weekend.

  20. Southland teen babysitter Daniel Cameron sentenced for murder of 9yo boy
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/06/southland-teen-babysitter-daniel-cameron-sentenced-for-murder-of-9yo-boy.html

A 16-year-old Southland teen babysitter who murdered a nine-year-old boy has been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum non-parole period of 11 years.

Handing down the sentence in the Invercargill High Court on Monday, Justice Rachel Dunningham said Daniel Cameron committed an aggravated crime by murdering Hunter MacIntosh.

“I must sentence you to life imprisonment unless it would be manifestly unjust,” she said.

Summing up the facts of the case, Justice Dunningham noted Cameron had “mildly autistic personality traits” and admitted “a tendency to get angry at the stupidest things”.

The post-mortem showed he had received three large knife wounds to his chest and torso and had marks on his neck consistent with asphyxia.

  21. From time to time someone points out that the CCP own NZ. This is how it’s done to the applause & blessings of conservatives.

The Van Leeuwen Group is selling nine dairy farms in South Canterbury. There’s 3500 hectares of land involved. No price is given but $40-$50K/per hectare is not unreasonable so say $150,000,000.

No individual prospective cow cocky or ten are in a position to conjure up that sort of coin so we are guaranteed to see the ownership of more of NZ fall into overseas hands. This is justified by they who know everything as getting the best possible price for the owner but it’s wrecking our agricultural industry while exporting much of our tax base.

  23. The New Zealand TAB are now so broke they are showing horse racing from South Africa and promoting betting on it. The Japies are not so stringent on horse names so the name “Pharr Canal” got through. I recorded the race on My Sky because the way the commentator handled it would have been hilarious. Damnation. The horse was scratched.

  24. Stepped on some toes here today. Got a real pasting with thumbs downs. Good. Seems that there are still some on here that believe National and some of their current and former ministers can do no wrong. Those of you who convince yourselves that a different government or political party will make a difference are deluding yourselves.
Get this hard wired in to your thinking; not one political party or politician gives a fuck about you. You only matter to them when they need your vote. They are also hamstrung, owned and controlled by far bigger players .You have seen the speed with which new and highly
questionable laws have been passed by this current communist government. They do this because they have been ordered to An incoming government will not repeal any of them. They might tweak them to give the illusion that they are, but nothing will change. So yeah, go ahead and vote for your preferred candidate or party. It will not change anything. It will be business as usual no matter who is in charge. You have been warned. Have a pleasant evening.

    • I share in your frustration AP. People seem to think that they can change the world with a biro in a ballet box. They’re delusional.
I don’t have the answers. I think times have changed so much that a people’s revolt is completely out of the question. I wish it weren’t true but.

I really do think that we’re all fucked.

There will be isolated instances of rebellion (one may be coming shortly). Other than that, it’s a lost cause. ESPECIALLY once the boomers die off. Then we are at the mercy of all the wet woke bleeding hearts that surround us.

Oh, and did you watch that link I sent you last night?

  25. Heard through the grapevine that Police 10 7 is next on the hit list as it portrays the blacks in a bad light. Haven’t looked it up but if it’s true then that is both hilarious and sad at the same time.

Perhaps if the blacks don’t like the portrayal they could stop committing the crimes?

Boo hoo fucking hoo, stop showing how we commit so much crime, that’s racist!!

Even mohammed wept. Small ‘m’ yessiree.
