Hmm that looks like the drains on the street above my place that gives me a water feature every time it rains, well that and the dumb ass that put the drain in put it on the high point of the road not the low point, well done retards

Planned industrial subdivision down past Te Puke. Paid for by the regional council. Big Project advised by some mad green type from Auckland.
So they were advised to build a 400K pond at the top of the rise to cope with last winter’s rain that never eventuated.
When questioned and told that the water doesn’t run uphill the answer from said stupid green arse said oh well you can hire a pump.
That said pump costs $700 per day, and his answer was “I’m not paying for it”, so I don’t care.
That pond was fenced and lined with material, etc.
At the end of the winter, all the fencing and material went to the dump.
Had the pond been built in the right place, it would still be available for the next stages.
Have to say that TCC have a program of cleaning leaves and sumps year round, and so when it rains, we now don’t have too much trouble. It’s a maintenance issue.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth: nobody knows who our ancestors were shagging 10,000 years ago, let alone 100,000. For all we know, your bloodline includes a goat herder from Persia, a cave painter from France, and a drunk Neanderthal who tripped into the wrong tent.
Yet somehow, here in New Zealand, we’ve enshrined in legislation the idea that a specific group of people — who arrived here by boat, mind you — have some kind of sacred birthright to legal privileges and special treatment, based on the assumption that their ancestors never mixed, never moved, never moaned under the stars with someone from another tribe. Absolute fantasy.
Let me be even clearer for the politicians still sucking on the teat of identity politics: you cannot build a 21st-century nation on a myth. Especially when the myth is that one group of humans magically popped out of the Earth here like turnips, and the rest are “visitors.” Māori came here by boat. BOAT. That means they migrated. That means they came from somewhere else. That means—wait for it—they’re not indigenous. You can’t be indigenous to two places, just like you can’t be a virgin in two cities. Pick one, mate.
Anthropology 101: all human beings share mixed origins. We interbred, migrated, conquered, fled, and yes, had wildly unrecorded sex for hundreds of thousands of years. Trying to trace “pure” bloodlines is like trying to piss in a tornado and stay dry. Modern humans have been mixing since we stood upright. Any idea of ethnic purity is a wet dream for racists and a crutch for the entitlement class.
So why the hell is our legal system littered with the words bi-cultural and bi-lingual like some colonial guilt hangover that never sobered up?
New Zealand isn’t bi-cultural. It’s multi-ethnic. In fact, it’s post-ethnic. We’re 260+ ethnicities deep and counting. Walk down Queen Street and you’ll see more diversity in 10 minutes than a woke diversity seminar could handle in a decade. And guess what? Nobody gives a toss about your whakapapa when they’re paying $9 for a head of broccoli.
Yet we have politicians too scared to say the obvious: race-based policy is racism. Full stop. I don’t care if it’s wrapped in tradition, tikanga, treaties, or tears — if your laws treat people differently based on their ancestry, it’s not justice. It’s apartheid in a flax skirt.
And let’s not pretend this is about “honouring history.” It’s about power. It’s about carving out permanent entitlements for people who claim ancient privilege but live in modern privilege—benefiting from the exact same hospitals, roads, schools, supermarkets, and cell towers as everyone else.
We don’t need “co-governance.” We need co-responsibility. We need one law for all, one citizenship, one nation — not a bureaucratic buffet where certain surnames get first dibs on the gravy.
And the Treaty? It was signed in 1840, when the world was still using leeches as medicine. Beautiful as it may be, it’s not the bloody Constitution. It was an agreement between people who are all dead now. Let’s honour it by growing the hell up and moving forward, not backwards into race-based hierarchy.
So here’s the prescription: Cut every race-based clause from our legislation. Replace it with a single principle — equality under the law. Not equity. Not partnership. Not sacred ancestral privilege. Just plain, boring, unsexy equality.
Because there’s only one race that matters — the human race.
And if that’s too spicy for your delicate political palate, then maybe it’s time you got out of the kitchen. Or better yet, out of Parliament.

In Auckland we had floods in July 2022, Sept 2022, Nov 2022, the big one in January 2023
The drains were like that.
After the Sept 2022 flooding -a month before wanker elections – where there was severe flooding in Mt Albert in Cambourne Road – when the bitch’s house is – and Parrish road where there was severe flooding in January 2023; and houses removed.
I contacted council about it. Sept 2022. For Mt Eden. there were makeshit rivers flowing down the mountain in Streets like Mont Le Grand (you know, big f..ing mountain) that poured across Dominion Rd into Mt Albert suburbs.
Ended up with bollocks emails from AT (Akl Tranny-sport) Watercare (the care part is optional, the water and sewage outfit; some would just say “a sewage company /CCO” ) ; and the council itself.
lots of fuckers with their oar in the water , so to speak.

There was two separate works orders made to clear the immediate drain entry point.

The first truck turned up and dug out visible decomposing organic matter .
the second truck turned up 3 days later and I went out to talk. they just marked the job as done.

i.e. the stormwater drainage had been rendered useless years before.

From approx 2013 to 2017 there were trucks commissioned for 10 weeks April to June as sweepers to pick up/sweep up leaves.
These were another multi million dollar waste as they drove around parked cars so were dead useless

I was up in Paihia, Russell and the Mission House at Waimate North recently. They are places of Early Colonial and Maori history well worth visiting especially the early Graveyards at places like Christ Church at Russell where Waka Nene’s Grave is and on it the inscription in the post above. Throughout these areas many, many of the Graves show similar wording of how Maori respected either the Missionary’s or Early Colonial Settlers and how the Colonial Settler and Missionary’s respected and were great friends with Maori.
These plaques show a completely different story to what were are told today and I am sorry I took no photos of any of them. But the most telling was the plaque on an empty beachfront section, almost on the corner of Kings Road and Marsden Street, Paihia close to the stone Anglican Church on Marsden Street that says that, that was the place where Maori meet 8 years before the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi to request Queen Victoria send troops to protect them, keep the peace and for Queen Victoria to take control of the country and introduce a justice and Parliamentary system to the country. This area is littered with with similar history and we are feed a totally different story and a pack of lies from those who wish to distort the truth.

Next time you come up have a look at the Marsden Cross visitors centre. It tells a truly amazing story. Down on the beach below is where they had supposedly the first church service on Christmas day in 1814. The other place to have a look at is the open air church on the road to Kohukohu. This is where Bishop Pompallier preached the first Catholic mass. I imagine it was really boring.

The family of a man allegedly stabbed to death by his ‘sleepwalking’ wife has vowed to fight for justice after the murder charge against her was dropped.
Serdar Caliskan, 50, died in September 2023 at Mount Disappointment in Victoria’s north, when his wife Ilknur, 47, allegedly stabbed him in the heart.
But the case against the mother-of-two was abandoned in February, just weeks before it was due to go to trial in the Victorian Supreme Court.
Now Mr Caliskan’s family say they won’t stay silent, and claim there was never any mention of her suffering a sleep disorder in 26 years of marriage prior to the tragedy.
Ms Caliskan’s legal team had previously claimed that she suffered from parasomnia, a sleep disorder which had allegedly caused her to climb out of a car-top tent, down a ladder, walk through the bush, pick up a knife and stab her husband to death.
But his furious family say they don’t accept that, and want a change in the law to prevent anyone from using sleep disorders as a defence in court.
‘It is a dangerous precedent that allows individuals to say they have a sleep disorder which can then allow them to escape accountability for violent crimes,’ his brother Muzaffer told Daily Mail Australia.

Not just establishment, but it seems like old establishment jumping from the sinking Tory ship or is it establishment Farage looking to be a white horse in rescuing the Tories?
The Reform Party seems to be the only way out for Britain,& appears to be gaining traction & increasing depth, having had a reasonable bite at the Council elections.
Some of the upper class can see the points of what TR has made, like how the views went from circa 200,000 to over 150 million, before the official “Silenced” documentary was officially pulled by TR’s team.
Ok world wide views, and many British would have had the time to see it & ponder how government agencies paid so much to shut down just this one issue.
But Reform at some point will look just as Tory & ratty as the old Tory.
And some ot the Top men that Reform pushed out, are creating new options, that may coalesce, even take over Reform. who knows?
It was a disappointment when viewing Lord Monckton, how he supported Farage, and Zia. I am sure Monckton knew of the others that have pulled away from Farage too, & of course about TR, & Farages over reaching on TR.
Now can be seen as hypocritical reaction, even if he was really ignorant of the media paint job on TR.
Farage’s ignorance of the “koran”, “hadith” & “Reliance of the Traveller” and seems to be wanting, even welcoming to be go with the flow of increased number of muslims. Sadly I think Lord Monckton is remaining blind on this too.
Still 4 years to run before a general election has to be called so much is to be given some stirring to see if lumps will dissolve, or throw it, sift it to get the best.
