  1. Incredible success.

The word incredible is now widely used to describe something spectacular, something that has been achieved that may have seemed impossible. In fact, the word means not credible and the original use of the word aptly describes our incredible government.

In response to information leaking out that our border quarantine is being bungled and hundreds have been leaving with no test for Covid being undertaken, the Government is pushing the line that the most important thing is 14 days isolation. If that is the case, why were we all locked up in level 4 and 3 lockdown for 7 weeks – why 14 days for the overseas threat and 49 days for us?

The inconsistencies of the message pushed by our Government says much about their credibility – it is obvious to many that they are making up things as they go along, incredible.

Is it credible to have no new cases of Covid from returning Kiwi’s for 24 days when little testing was being carried out, yet 24 new cases in a little over a week when public attention forced them to increase testing. Is it credible that none of the 1000’s of people previously leaving isolation had Covid. Is it even credible to only go back to people leaving isolation from June 9th when we went to level 1. Were these people of no threat on June 8th and beforehand?

We were told that there was very little risk from schools re-opening during level 3, but most of us were still forcibly locked inside at home. Meanwhile the Marist College cluster was still producing new victims. Was it ever credible to claim we had no community transmission because they don’t count Marist College and the other clusters as community transmission in the Government definition.

Was it ever credible to say they had procedures and PPE all under control when the deaths we were seeing often came from clusters at rest homes and also created infection in staff looking after victims in hospital.

It is credible to say there is no community transmission when they are now reducing community testing, back to the early incredible rules where they will only test “People with any of the COVID-19 symptoms who are close contacts of confirmed cases, have recently travelled overseas, or been in contact with recent travellers, should get assessed.” (health.govt.nz website 29/6/2020)

It is incredible – not at all credible. The Government continues to take us for fools. “Your single source of truth – Yeah Nah” stickers and many others available at http://www.NoEyeDeer.nz

    • The truely incredible thing is the way we all accepted like sheep to follow them and allow the economy to be stuffed for years to come.

      • Ed, you say
‘the way we all accepted like sheep to follow them ‘

        Not ALL
This is a part of newspeak
To say ‘we all’ ; ‘everyone thinks’
so that if you disagree you are not on the correct page
Sad to see You succumb to this Mr Sheet !

        extracts
‘This is pure dogmatic Ideology at work.
During your Home D it might be time to watch Dr Zhivago or Reds (1981)’
        and
        ‘We are under house arrest.
See it for what it really is.
        1917- done before lunchtime.’

        I never accepted the lie.
I was talking to someone in the weekend who is discerning.
He said there was a push three years ago to see if people ‘accept feminism’
They asked politicians point blank if they were a feminist.
        Eg Bill English.
This was a trial run for the current BLM.

The Alt World Govt is well organised and tries out smaller things to bed them in.
        This is why I repeat:-
The media filth are your enemy.
they are the foot soldiers of those who will do you (and your family) harm.

          • I quoted you in the second line
‘the way we all accepted like sheep to follow them ‘

            you said ‘all accepted’
I did not accept, I complied but do not accept the ‘reasoning’/lies
And my reference to Home D and house arrest underscores that.

            The healthy were ‘quarantined’. Whaaat.
It was nonsense and not acceptable but stupid law was passed in haste , and in many cases it was not lawful but that is the burden we bear with an offshore controlled outfit that now runs false flag events.

I have created this handy guide for those who don’t understand politics:

    • “As an opposition deputy from St. Petersburg puts it: It will be impossible to hide the deception they are engaging in — and while the Kremlin’s denizens may not have paid attention to real history, as opposed to their imagined vision of the past, “many regimes have collapsed precisely when the mass population recognizes that an attempt to deceive them has been made.”

Should Ardernearly and our sycophantic MSM try this shit on with the New Zealand voters during the election, all bets are off as to the outcome of this election. As her popularity tanks the temptation could be too much. For example, if there is an disproportionate vote cast from overseas when most NZ non residents have returned home due to COVID then the election result could be compromised for months. I hope the Electoral Commission is ready for their “Bloomfield” inquisitorial investigations from the Marxist commissars.

  3. COVID-19: New Zealand Government sat on Palantir data tracking offer
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/06/covid-19-new-zealand-government-sat-on-palantir-data-tracking-offer.html

Emails released to RNZ show a US offer to rapidly set up COVID-19 data-crunching capabilities sat with the government for more than a month during the lockdown period.

The offer came from Silicon Valley company Palantir, controversial for its links to spy services in the Five Eyes network New Zealand belongs to.
    Related News

Emails showed the Customs Department put Palantir in touch with the Ministry of Health.

The company told the ministry in March it knew agencies in New Zealand were “under strain”.

“We’ve been approached independently by the UK and Canadian Govts to help with their COVID-19 responses,” it said in emails that are mostly blanked out, released under the Official Information Act. A short meeting followed.

A month later, on April 20, Palantir emailed to say it had heard data management was “something the ministry is still trying to get on top of”.

By then it had set up platforms to track COVID and help combat it in 15 countries, including hard-hit Italy.

“We could establish similar capability here in New Zealand within a matter of days,” the company said.

Three days later the ministry told RNZ it had no plans to use Palantir’s services.

    • I do not want to be further tracked by a yankee outfit.
It is bad enough that Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Fakebook etc do it already.

Anyhow, given the Govt did not even intend to test people in quarantine even when coming from hotspots, the only reason they would introduce that, is tracking people for the sake of tracking for malevolent purposes.
      Bugger that.

  4. Iran issues arrest warrant for Trump over Soleimani killing, US calls it ‘propaganda stunt’
    https://www.foxnews.com/world/iran-issues-arrest-warrant-for-trump

Iranian officials angry over the killing of Gen. Qassem Soleimani have now reportedly issued an arrest warrant for President Trump – but the U.S. is calling it a “propaganda stunt”.

The announcement was made Monday by Tehran prosecutor Ali Alqasimehr, who told the state-run IRNA news agency that Trump and 35 others are facing “murder and terrorism charges” in connection to the Jan. 3 attack in Baghdad that killed the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s Quds Force.

Alqasimehr was quoted as saying that Iran has asked Interpol to put out a “red notice” for Trump and the others – the highest-level arrest request issued by the international organization.

Interpol later issued a statement saying its guidelines for notices forbids it from “any intervention or activities of a political” nature and that it “would not consider requests” of this kind.

  5. Duncan Garner: Waikato River Authority’s 10c-per-litre proposal is offensive and outrageous
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/06/duncan-garner-waikato-river-authority-s-10c-per-litre-proposal-is-offensive-and-outrageous.html

But the Waikato River Authority wants to charge Aucklanders up the wazoo for taking a bit more of that dirty Waikato River and turning it into water for Aucklanders to use. For heaven’s sake, the water is running out to sea anyway.

Now, the River Authority is the joint that Crown and iwi voices set up to act and speak for the river. Its chief executive Bob Penter has revealed if Auckland wants 25 million litres extra per day, it can pay 10c a litre for the privilege – or $2.5 million a day.

We are all guardians of our rivers and mountains, and we are here for a mere millisecond. Hamiltonians should be ashamed of these people who are deliberately blocking progress for Auckland.

    17

    • Bernard Orsman: “The Waikato River Authority wants Auckland to pay for more water from the Waikato River and suggested up to 10 cents a litre, or $20 million a day.”

And all it’s going to do is remove some of the water before it disappears out into the Tasman. $20 million per day? Like $10 per day for every person in Auckland? These people are nuts.
How about raising the Huia dam wall by 20m. That should do the trick.

      • It is necessary for Auckland to acknowledge there are other fast growing populations further upstream who need to have their water applications processed first. Auckland don’t take priority over other New Zealanders. Why have Auckland Water made no effort to grow their catchment ability? Time for the Auckland ratepayers to ask questions of their highly paid Watercare planners who have been relying on consistent rainfall to do their water catchment job for them.

    • Auckland is seeking aggrandizement and power.
It is the thin edge of the “wokeness” wedge, that has got its snout into the Waikato.

The same people in Auckland who supposedly only want some “free” water, will also want to have a lot of say about the whole Waikato Catchment, that is all of Taupo, Tongariro, and the head waters of the Wanganui River.

Their numbers will then dictate just who, and for what can draw water from the Waikato.
If it does not past their “wokeness” system they will seek to have the power of veto, and or push by blame & shame wokeness.

Somebody has to pay for the Auckland tribal meetings about the pollution of their waters with the Waikato water. whilst Waikato tribal huis also have to be paid for, and that will all take a lot of koha, for the research, studies etc. to placate the taniwha.

Suck it up Aucklanders, as it seems that Waikato water coming to you will have no royalty charge as per waste plastic bottles. 🙂

      • We should not have ticket-clippers in the Waikato claiming ownership of a national resource. Of course, the ticket-clippers will fight tooth and nail to hang on to their source of free money.

All cities and provinces should work as a team for the advancement of the country of New Zealand. Auckland’s interest is the nation’s interest.

        • ……”Auckland’s interest is the nation’s interest.”……

Crap! It’s a city of 1.6 million churn merchants. They spend their working hours commuting & selling coffee to each other That’s when they’re not ripping each other off on-selling their overpriced hovels or tipping shit into their harbour with one eye blind.

They make little, consume heaps & vote Labour while supporting the Auckland Blues. 🙂

          4

          0

    • It would seem to me that Waikato charging for water is on the same principle as having “Carbon Taxes”
That is to stop people wasting or endangering people with Carbon, to force them to find alternatives, or reduce their use of water, and eventually to be come “Zero Carbon” 🙂

So a water tax will force Auckland to make decisions.

The fuel tax, to increase it to such a high level, to make cycle ways and bicycles viable, and other forms of public transport. To also subsidize electricity vechicles.

Stand firm Waikato, make sure you have a good clause so as to keep increasing that water rate. 🙂
      ————
I mentioned in an above post, about Taupo Catchment.
Even people who are not in Taupo or Waikato Catchment are charged a rate by the Waikato Regional Council for the beautification of taniwha in Lake Taupo. 🙁
Auckland I am reasonable sure does not pay a special “Lake Taupo” tax, but it would seem, about time!
      Suck it up Auckland. 🙂

      • LoL what you do is put a 2000l water tank in, run the water into the tank off the roof, pressurise it, and you have eliminated the council and both rates, water in and water out. I know people in Auckland doing this right now! So FO to the council, the iwi, and the taniwha in one foul swoop. Greedy bastards!

    • The then Prime Minister John Key, Bill English and Nick Smith gave back the water systems to maori tribes.

Deed No. 420 in Maori Deeds of Land Purchases in the North Island of New Zealand, ….. ….. that the Upper Waikato Block transaction says that the government paid the people of Ngatimahanga, Ngatitamainu and Ngatihourua £1000 on September 15,
1864, in a sale that included “trees, minerals, waters, rivers, lakes, streams, and all appertaining to the said land or beneath the surface of the said land”. …..
…… an area between the Waipa and Waikato rivers from Ngaruawahia to Lake Taupo, …….

The here is where the National Party slyly by sleight of hand gives those waters back to tribal elites.

      a. Acknowledges Maori interests and rights in freshwater
      b. Argues that the “extent and nature of those rights are at issue”
      c. Says that no one owns the water
      d. Is ready to delegate to regional councils the politically risky task of allocating water to private tribal companies.

If you want to give your tear ducts a workout (or not) then may I commend the load of crap written by an expat wanting to visit her “home” country…….that is NZ, the country that although honoured by her birth was probably too small & wasn’t prepared to reward her sufficiently for her incredible ability. //

      • I think democracy is finished. I don’t think the COL being kicked out means anything will be any better.

We’ve seen in the US what happens if you oppose the cancer of globalism and progressive oppression.

If the equally fucked-in-the-head National whiners get in power, they won’t change anything for the better AND we’ll all of a sudden have VERY VERY BAD covid and there’ll be BLM cancer cunts everywhere burning and tearing everything down.

The Left have decided that they can never not be in power, and if they lose an election then they don’t give a fuck they will burn everything down to the ground (imagine being so fucking evil that you destroy a boom time in the US the way they have this year – just to spite Trump).

As the Left have broken democracy it is no longer a functioning solution. I’m hoping that Trump rounds up the fascists from the Left – executes them on the White House lawn and declares himself benign Leader for Life. That is the only way forward now. Democracy had it’s day and the best we can hope for is a well-intentioned dictator.

        Works pretty well for Singapore.

  15. Billion dollar increase in transport costs if Auckland’s port moves north, truck drivers say
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/billion-dollar-increase-in-transport-costs-if-aucklands-port-moves-north-truck-drivers-say

Multiple reports have suggested the port should be moved and the proposal is a bottom line in the confidence and supply agreement between New Zealand First and Labour.

National Road Carriers Association (NRC) chief executive David Aitken says while it would increase business by five-fold, the costs outweigh the benefits.

The report finds heavy truck traffic would increase, particularly on roads around the proposed Swanson road-rail inland port and across Auckland.

    • It will become a new form of tax, but hidden as no tax increases or whatever.
So export & import goods will find it as a transport cost.
Increased cost of living to pay that form of “tax” but the government’s sleight of hand will keep them looking clean.

The road mileage tax will collect substantively more, but will be spent on cycle ways, public transport like trains, buses, trams, trolleys, & electric buses as great virtue signalling of “carbon zero”.

  17. Kiwis who holiday in Europe should pay for quarantine upon return – Winston Peters
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/kiwis-holiday-in-europe-should-pay-quarantine-upon-return-winston-peters

The EU has named 14 countries whose citizens are deemed “safe” to be let in from tomorrow.

Along with New Zealand on the current Covid-19 safe list are Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.

Peters said New Zealanders who went to Europe on holiday should pay for their two weeks’ hotel quarantine when they return.

“If you can afford to take a holiday, and given the state of our economy and the enormous international damage that Covid-19 has caused to every economy including our own, I don’t think it’s too much to expect you to pay for your own quarantine when you get back.”

    • I certainly won’t want to go out of NZ if I have to spend 2 weeks in quarantine on my return to Auckland at my own expense. I guess that’s one way to encourage domestic tourism and cut down on those nasty jet-flight miles with “all the carbon” and other BS.

I think I’ll take a month off in mid-January and make a nice long road trip of the South Island.

      • The Cook & I did the round the SI trek in February Odakyu-sen. Get the Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Queenstown crap out of the way first. Should take less than a week if you stop for everything interesting that isn’t an overpriced tourist trap.

Then cross the Haast Pass & enjoy your remaining three weeks in Westland through to Golden Bay which is NZ the way it should be.

  19. COVID-19: New Zealand no longer physically hosting APEC 2021 – it will now be held online
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/06/covid-19-new-zealand-no-longer-physically-hosting-apec-2021-it-will-now-be-held-online.html

“COVID-19 has seriously impacted how we conduct international diplomacy. That includes hosting APEC. As has occurred with many other international government-to-government events, APEC21 will proceed using virtual digital platforms.”

Leaders’ Week isn’t till November 2021, but Peters said an in-person APEC we would have seen thousands of people entering the country from late 2020 onwards – some of them from COVID-19 hotspots.

“We simply couldn’t guarantee these people would be able to enter New Zealand without being quarantined,” he said. “This decision to ‘go virtual’ is a pragmatic solution which preserves New Zealand’s longstanding commitment to host APEC 2021.”

  20. Lloyd Burr: Hey Duncan Garner, your COVID-19 border idea is bonkers
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/travel/2020/06/lloyd-burr-hey-duncan-garner-your-covid-19-border-idea-is-bonkers.html

His argument is that us expats are “taking the mickey” by “meandering and dawdling home” and we’ve “had plenty of time to get our backsides home”.

But it’s not that easy. Not all of us can pack up our lives and move back to the other side of the world in the space of three months. Have you ever had to deal with British bureaucracy before? The rental contracts, the work contracts, car lease agreements, and all the other god-awful devilish British red-tape to work through, all in a country that’s still locked down.

Then there’s the flights (that are rare, exorbitantly priced and change a dozen times provided the airline doesn’t collapse). And moving companies (that aren’t running at full capacity because of supply chain delays). And organising transit visas or exemptions (which are VERY confusing). All before you even get to New Zealand.

And that’s just for those who want to move home. What about the other scenarios?

It is interesting that MacDonald stood trail and was not convicted but got 5 years for his other illegal activities- generally activities that display a disturbed mind.

One wonders that having MacDonald’s brother as a police Detective was a help in his defence/quality and commitment to find evidence!!
This is New Zealand and the NZ police after all.
Their world is binary. You are in or out.

I don’t know who did it and there is no conviction therefore no closure.
There is a strong suggestion MacDonald was the doer but not enough proof.
Was the five years a compromise wrist slap?

Interesting that MacDonald’s lawyer, Greg King, had a massive breakdown after the trial and committed suicide a few months later.

Flu virus with ‘pandemic potential’ found in China

A new strain of flu that has the potential to become a pandemic has been identified in China by scientists.

It emerged recently and is carried by pigs, but can infect humans, they say.

The researchers are concerned that it could mutate further so that it can spread easily from person to person, and trigger a global outbreak.

  23. Reddit has purged some of the most popular communities on the site today after a recent announcement that they will be cracking down on “hate speech.” Over 2,000 communities were purged including the pro-Trump community r/The_Donald and the popular left-wing community r/ChapoTrapHouse.
Last year Reddit took a $150m investment from the Communist Chinese, so these bans and the pivot away from freedom should not be a surprise to anyone. Reddit is not only purging thousands of communities from the site, but they are also banning users who “upvote” content which breaks their new “hate speech” rules. Meaning even if you don’t post the content yourself, Reddit will ban you if you engage with it.

1 teen killed, 1 injured after 4th shooting near Seattle’s CHOP

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is investigating a deadly shooting near the “Capitol Hill Organized Protest” (CHOP) zone Monday morning.

Police responded to the area around 3 a.m. and found a Jeep Cherokee “riddled with bullets,” Police Chief Carmen Best said.

Susan Gregg, a spokesperson for Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, said early Monday an unidentified male and a 14-year-old were transported to the hospital in critical condition after being shot. The Seattle Police Department later said the unidentified male is 16 years old.
The 14-year-old arrived at the hospital by a private vehicle from the CHOP around 3:15 a.m.

The 16-year-old was transported to the hospital by Seattle Fire Department medics and arrived at the hospital around 3:30 a.m. The teen later died.

    Alt media report:

Multiple camera angles captured audio of the shooting at CHAZ on Sunday night. You can hear a paranoid militant freaking out followed by the sound of a vehicle. Multiple shots (sounds like a rifle) come from within CHAZ, before a loud crash and more shots.

    Seattle resident report:

Teens steal Jeep inside CHAZ and do donuts in the field for fun. Windows closed the entire time.
    Chaz security fires at car.
    Everyone panics at gunfire, screeching.
White woman tells everyone to get on deck.
Teens try to flee but can’t, because the whole thing is blocked off with jersey barriers placed there by the city.
Car zips around through the maze of barriers but can’t get out.
At some point, they head toward the CHAZ HQ, not even knowing that it was a thing.
CHAZ security shoots through the window of the car, driver crashes into barrier near front of the HQ.
They unload more bullets into the car and make it swiss cheese.
Car is no longer drivable; two teenagers are now bleeding out.
Eric Leal, the self, styled ‘security chief’ of Chaz still thinks they were enemy forces of some sort.
Says, “Oh you aint dead yet huh?” and then pistol whips the living guy for about a minute and then shoots him execution style.
    No weapons in the car.
Literally, CHAZ has murdered an unarmed, black child, brutally and judging by the giggles heard in the background of one of the videos with glee, they have become the pigs that they thought they were fighting against.
Chaz wall of silence in effect. ‘No snitching’

US wine mogul who donated $398,000 to President Donald Trump owns several New Zealand wines
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/lifestyle/2020/06/us-wine-mogul-who-donated-398-000-to-president-donald-trump-owns-several-new-zealand-wines.html

The billionaire owner of a variety of New Zealand’s best-known wines is a mogul who’s helping bankroll US President Donald Trump’s 2020 election campaign, a top wine commentator claims.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports Bill Foley donated US$255,600 (NZ$398,063) to Trump between 2016 and 2020.

Foley owns Foley Family Wines, which has a number of New Zealand brands to its name – including Te Kairanga, Mt Difficulty, Vavasour, Russian Jack, Roaring Meg and Boatshed Bay.

David Cormack, who co-manages Wellington PR company Draper Cormack, told Stuff Foley’s donations to Trump could put Kiwis off its products.

“Many New Zealanders would be deeply disappointed if they learned that some of their favourite so-called Kiwi brands were owned by a Trump-supporting American,” he said.

But others didn’t mind who winemakers politically supported.

“I really don’t give a shit if they support Trump or donate to Republicans. I’m drinking wine because I love it and it tastes good not for political purposes,” a user tweeted.

  31. India bans TikTok, WeChat and dozens more Chinese apps
Move over Alibaba, here comes TikTok’s ‘live’ shopping

NEW DELHI — India’s government on Monday said it would block 59 apps, including popular social platforms such as TikTok and Tencent’s WeChat, in the latest economic fallout from a deadly border clash this month.

Alibaba Group Holding’s UC Browser, fashion vendor Shein and Baidu maps are also among the Chinese-developed apps covered by the ban, which are used both on mobile devices and personal computers.

The announcement — described as “emergency measures” necessary for national security — comes amid a standoff between troops along a disputed Himalayan border, where 20 Indian soldiers were killed in violent clashes with the Chinese side on June 15

    https://asia.nikkei.com/Politics/International-relations/India-bans-TikTok-WeChat-and-dozens-more-Chinese-apps

Ravi Shankar Prasad, communications and information technology minister, tweeted that the ban was justified “for safety, security, defence, sovereignty & integrity of India and to protect data & privacy of people of India.”

In a statement late Monday night, the Indian government said the information technology ministry “has received many complaints from various sources, including several reports about misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms, for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorized manner to servers which have locations outside India.”

Disallowing the usage of these apps “will safeguard the interests of … Indian mobile and internet users,” the statement said. “This decision is a targeted move to ensure the safety and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace.”

The statement did not specifically mention China or Chinese companies. No mention was made of how the ban will be implemented and enforced.

The Chinese Embassy in India did not immediately respond to the statement.

Hu Xijin, editor in chief of the Chinese Communist Party-run Global Times newspaper, tweeted: “Well, even if Chinese people want to boycott Indian products, they can’t really find many Indian goods.”

“Indian friends, you need to have some things that are more important than nationalism,” Hu added.

Blaise Fernandes, a director at the Indian think tank Gateway House, said the ban will hurt TikTok parent ByteDance.

“Alibaba and Tencent are part of the digital ‘Silk Route’ of China,” Fernandes said. The ban “will negatively impact the valuations of these apps and their respective promoters,” he said. “Case in point — the upcoming IPO of TikTok,” he added, saying the app derives 30% of its user base from India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s office tweeted that he will address the nation at 4 p.m local time Tuesday, without elaborating.

The ban comes amid moves by India to review its economic ties with China in light of the border clash in the Ladakh region. The government has called on state-owned telecoms not to use equipment from Huawei Technologies and other Chinese suppliers, and is considering higher tariffs on some Chinese-made goods, according to local media reports.

The June 15 skirmish — which each country has blamed on the other side — was the first deadly clash between the two Asian giants in 45 years. New Delhi said there were casualties on the Chinese side, but Beijing has not released any figures.

Tensions continue despite India and China last week agreeing to take steps to disengage from the standoff. The two nuclear-armed countries have long been fractious neighbors and share a 3,500 km Line of Actual Control, or LAC — a de facto border over which they fought a war in 1962.

Even though it probably cost the rate payer more than enough to go through the process, plus the time loss, and with the stress.

He has asked for the four page report be tabled at the next council meeting on June 30th, so both the original complaint & the investigator’s report are made public.
