    • Rachael , Its colonialism that caused this, Kiritapu will be looking for compensation for her brother and Willie Jackson will throw his weight behind it and there will be a Waitangi Claim lodged .
Lawyers will get rich ,people will demonstrate on the streets and the plod will do nothing ,the tribunal will agree with Kiri and Jackson ,compensation will be paid and the murderer will released and get a high place on the labour list,LOL.
Gotta get this shit in while we can because if Cinderella gets three more years we wont be able to post any comments that hurt “feelings”.

    • “No contact with any of his six children”…….and the current government does not expect fathers to be named. Quite wrong.

The responsibilities of producing a child must be accepted and paid for even by the feckless. It is not reasonable to leave the taxpayer to cover the tab.

  1. YSB ,Can expect a visit from the Ardern hate speech police today ,I’d be confident that there will be some pushback from that image even though its part of our education systems agenda.
Within 10 or 20 years all other races of children in our Country will have been conditioned to bow and scrape to the likes of Jackson, Harawira,Mahuta,Kiritapu Allan ,Jones,Davidson,ETC,ETC.
This isn’t my opinion ,everybody with a working braincell knows its coming.

    • I’d just like to say that the Ministry of Health is the same fucked up organisation it’s always been. Dr Silly Name (the Clark insult notwithstanding) is still an incompetent career bureaucrat with a WHO background who oversaw the mishandling of every aspect of the measles outbreak leading to 28 dead Samoan kids earlier this year. He’s the same useless administrator who failed to prepare adequately for the pandemic when it was obvious something needed to be done. He’s the same official who led to every NZer being under house arrest for months and then said there was absolutely no problem with BLM protests going ahead.

He’s a lycra wearing bike-boy who is as useless as anyone else who we’ve been told to believe because they’re ExSpurts.

This revelation is not surprising – it is not even unexpected – it’s just what you’ll the standard of performance you can expect from everything to do with the CCP virus plannedemic.

And I’ll say it again now.

Even though it is inconceivable now – we’re going to see us in lockdown again to facilitate election interference through postal voting. The mismanagement is not accidental – it is by design. The CoL need Covid back in the community again, they need case numbers to go up, they need to be able to convince the sheeple THAT IT IS NOT SAFE TO EXERCISE THE VOTING FRANCHISE and that we have to adopt postal voting.

Sounds like a conspiracy theory? We are in the middle of an administrative coup to build the platform for a globalist one government – when you take away freedoms by milimetres the sheeple don’t notice. Eroding the sanctity of the need to vote in person is the first victory, take that away and everything else is up for grabs.

You can bet that the Ministry of Justice and the Electoral Commission will have provided advice on postal voting to the COL already!

      • Sadly DP you are correct on the motives and Alt World Govt actions.

You are however incorrect on the dead babies attributable to Baby Killer, Herr Doctor Ashen Bloomfailed.

        https://www.rnz.co.nz/international/pacific-news/406802/two-more-deaths-from-measles-in-samoa-over-new-year-period

the number is 83 dead babies in Samoa from Measles.
slight transposition of numbers perhaps ?

But yes, the main message is correct and Bloomfailed is a tool of anti democracy and he has lied like there is no tomorrow…while this lot are trying to ensure there is no tomorrow for freedom of speech, democracy, secret ballot, freedom of association etc.
The doc is a hideous man.

        • Talking of Greta a freind semt me this….

          The truth of it:-
One crisp winter morning in Sweden, a cute little girl named Greta woke up to a perfect world, one where there were no petroleum products ruining the earth. She tossed aside her cotton sheet and wool blanket and stepped out onto a dirt floor covered with willow bark that had been pulverized with rocks. “What’s this?” she asked.
“Pulverized willow bark,” replied her fairy godmother.
“What happened to the carpet?” she asked.
“The carpet was nylon, which is made from butadiene and hydrogen cyanide, both made from petroleum,” came the response.
Greta smiled, acknowledging that adjustments are necessary to save the planet, and moved to the sink to brush her teeth where instead of a toothbrush, she found a willow, mangled on one end to expose wood fibre bristles.
“Your old toothbrush?” noted her godmother, “Also nylon.”
          “Where’s the water?” asked Greta.
“Down the road in the canal,” replied her godmother, ‘Just make sure you avoid water with cholera in it”
“Why’s there no running water?” Greta asked, becoming a little peevish.
“Well,” said her godmother, who happened to teach engineering at MIT, “Where do we begin?” There followed a long monologue about how sink valves need elastomer seats and how copper pipes contain copper, which has to be mined and how it’s impossible to make all-electric earth-moving equipment with no gear lubrication or tires and how ore has to be smelted to a make metal, and that’s tough to do with only electricity as a source of heat, and even if you use only electricity, the wires need insulation, which is petroleum-based, and though most of Sweden’s energy is produced in an environmentally friendly way because of hydro and nuclear, if you do a mass and energy balance around the whole system, you still need lots of petroleum products like lubricants and nylon and rubber for tires and asphalt for filling potholes and wax and iPhone plastic and elastic to hold your underwear up while operating a copper smelting furnace and . . .
“What’s for breakfast?” interjected Greta, whose head was hurting.
“Fresh, range-fed chicken eggs,” replied her godmother. “Raw.”
          “How so, raw?” inquired Greta.
“Well, . . .” And once again, Greta was told about the need for petroleum products like transformer oil and scores of petroleum products essential for producing metals for frying pans and in the end was educated about how you can’t have a petroleum-free world and then cook eggs. Unless you rip your front fence up and start a fire and carefully cook your egg in an orange peel like you do in Boy Scouts. Not that you can find oranges in Sweden anymore.
“But I want poached eggs like my Aunt Tilda makes,” lamented Greta.
“Tilda died this morning,” the godmother explained. “Bacterial pneumonia.”
“What?!” interjected Greta. “No one dies of bacterial pneumonia! We have penicillin.”
“Not anymore,” explained godmother “The production of penicillin requires chemical extraction using isobutyl acetate, which, if you know your organic chemistry, is petroleum-based. Lots of people are dying, which is problematic because there’s not any easy way of disposing of the bodies since backhoes need hydraulic oil and crematoriums can’t really burn many bodies using as fuel Swedish fences and furniture, which are rapidly disappearing – being used on the black market for roasting eggs and staying warm.”
This represents only a fraction of Greta’s day, a day without microphones to exclaim into and a day without much food, and a day without carbon-fibre boats to sail in, but a day that will save the planet.
Tune in tomorrow when Greta needs a root canal and learns how Novocain is synthesized.

  3. This is not a vote winner for the COL. I posted this last night. Putting voters health at risk is certainly not going to be a vote winner. Why didn’t Clark warn the public earlier? They must have known but Cindy assured us months ago “there isn’t a shortage of prescription drugs.”. Maybe not a shortage yet, not until the supply negotiations between Pharmac and new suppliers stall on the cost of the new drugs!
Is this the CRISIS we saw coming when Clark resigned? Pharmac was advised of Apotex’s decision in June 2019. Has Clark known for a year?

A million Kiwis to be impacted by major pharmaceutical company leaving New Zealand
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/07/a-million-kiwis-to-be-impacted-by-major-pharmaceutical-company-leaving-new-zealand.html

More than a million Kiwis may need to change to different medications before the end of the year due to a major pharmaceutical company pulling out of the New Zealand market, leaving Pharmac looking for new suppliers for dozens of medications.

From antibiotics to B vitamins and treatments for blood pressure, arthritis, cholesterol, and depression.

“This move could potentially affect a million New Zealanders or more,” Mulholland said.

Apotex’s diabetes medication, Metformin, alone is used by 200,00 Kiwis.

“You’ve got those that suffer from hypotension, epilepsy, bipolar, I mean basically you name it, this company supplies one of those drugs.”

Pharmac was advised of Apotex’s decision in June 2019 and needs to find replacement suppliers for 41 medications by the end of the year.

    • Now there’s a surprise !!

      Post election prioridy #1
      Don’t fuck up healthcare.

Prioridy #2 don’t upset the pensioners, they almost all vote

People expect education to be messed with so it gets a pass.

Seriously, they screwed up healthcare and as I posted on YSB a week ago, it is like the ‘don’t go full retard rule’ you don’t mess it up healthcare like Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus – now top dodgy dog of W.H.O. – did in Ethiopia.

The media has ‘been kind’ and not come down on the COL on healthcare when they should have.
If Notional did the same they would have.

It has been a mess on almost every front.
The fish that David Shearer held up have rotted-not just the head but down to the tail and the useless media tards played the fiddle while healthcare burned.
The CEO of the Ministry of Health – Ashen Bloomfailed- is no less culpable than the politicians.

The distraction will be to mess things up with moving the deck chairs on DHBs
There are some bad DHBs that permanently sick.
Hawkes Bay, Wanganui more often than not, and Otago.

The current debacle over cancer funding in Southland was predictable.

Otago DHB was a fuck up.
Like everything else in Dirty Dunedin.
Otago – the home of mass murders (Bain, Aramoana); bankrupt rugby union; cash drain stadium; crap university; council that can lose 100 cars and no-one notice; contracts to gansta thugs and so on -had a really crappy DHB.
It screwed up so often – $18 million lost via employee fraudster Michael Swann; in 2015 it was so bad it had a commissioner appointed and the board dismissed.

The solution. Mergebroken Otago DHB with Southland to soak up costs and call it Southern DHB.
The result (Jonathon Coleman initiated) the crooked Otago mob continued their fraudulent activity and Southland got screwed.

Has the NZ media reported on this?
Do these low IQ alkies even understand what has happened?
      Probably not.
I seem to recall Fruity Farrar has called for reducing the number of DHBs but then he is an idiot.

Healthcare has been in disarray for the past few years but the media have not put the spotlight on it as part of the featherbedding the COL.

It might be (past) time for a holistic nationwide health check.

There will be full and final settlement of all claims by 2013.

COVID-19: Government package for temporary visa holders slammed as ‘inadequate’
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/07/covid-19-government-package-for-temporary-visa-holders-slammed-as-inadequate.html

The Government’s package to help foreign nationals stuck in New Zealand and facing serious hardship has been slammed as “inadequate” by advocates including the Human Rights Commission.

On Tuesday, the Government launched a $37.6 million programme allowing foreigners to apply for help to meet basic needs such as food and accommodation.

Goods and services will be delivered to struggling foreign nationals for three months, but Community Law Centres chief executive Sue Moroney says the Social Security Act already allows an emergency benefit for migrants.

  7. The eggs from hens that had the virus were perfectly safe to eat, he said.
    😶 No thanks!

A chicken virus blocking exports to Australia is expected to hang around another year before New Zealand is clear of it
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/chicken-virus-in-nz-blocking-exports-australia-until-2021

In August last year Infectious Bursal Disease Virus Type One (IBDV-1) was detected on two Otago egg farms belonging to the same company. This can affect the immune system of young chickens, but doesn’t pose any risk to human health.

The eggs from hens that had the virus were perfectly safe to eat, he said. And estimated “probably a couple hundred thousand” hens had been affected by the virus, but said that was a relatively small number given there were 4.1 million laying hens in New Zealand.

Brooks said until the virus is eradicated Australia has stopped importing poultry products from New Zealand, resulting in about $60 million in lost trade annually.

There had been debate in the industry about whether the infected chickens should be slaughtered now, to allow exports to resume sooner, but he said because the chickens were not sick, the decision had been made to allow them to complete their laying cycle.

Can they not run tests using insertable flow meters to systematically test sections of pipe for leaks? (I imagine that the leaks will be small but numerous, and will collectively cause a massive leakage.) Plus, there must be thousands of kilometers of pipes to check.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/world/2020/07/vladimir-putin-jokes-us-embassy-staff-in-moscow-are-gay-after-they-flew-a-rainbow-flag.html

President Vladimir Putin on Friday mocked the US embassy in Moscow for flying a rainbow flag to celebrate LGBT rights, suggesting it reflected the sexual orientation of its staff.

His comments followed a nationwide vote on constitutional reforms that included an amendment enshrining the definition of marriage specifically as a union between a man and a woman.

Putin said the US embassy’s move to raise the LGBT pride flag “revealed something about the people that work there”.

On the surface, the concept of “human rights” is appealing. Who wouldn’t want to protect the helpless individual from the machinations of a powerful establishment?
However, are “human rights” a double-edged weapon that can also be used in an attempt to destroy the fabric of society?

On the balance, do you think that “human rights” are being applied today as an agent to bring about societal change? If so, then who is pushing the application and what is their agenda?

8:10 – A feminist passed by and asked me why I didn’t make a snow woman.
    8:15 – So, I made a snow woman.

8:20 – The gay couple living nearby threw a hissy fit and moaned it could have been two snow men instead.
8:22 – The transgender man..women…person asked why I didn’t just make one snow person with detachable parts.
8:25 – The vegans at the end of the lane complained about the carrot nose, as veggies are food and not to decorate snow figures with.
8:28 – I was being called a racist because the snow couple is white.
8:31 – The middle eastern gent across the road demanded the snow woman be covered up .
8:40 – The Police arrived saying someone had been offended.
8:42 – The feminist neighbour complained again that the broomstick of the snow woman needed to be removed because it depicted women in a domestic role.
8:43 – The council equality officer arrived and threatened me with eviction.
8:45 – TV news crew from CBC showed up. I was asked if I know the difference between snowmen and snow-women? I replied “Snowballs” and am now called a sexist.
9:00 – I was on the News as a suspected terrorist, racist, homophobe sensibility offender, bent on stirring up trouble during difficult weather.
9:10 – I was asked if I have any accomplices. My children were taken by social services.
9:29 – Far left protesters offended by everything marched down the street demanding for me to be arrested.

In 2013 – before entering politics – Taogaga said on Twitter “we need to see Islam for what it truly is”. He linked to a news article about what he called a “brave” column by then-New Zealand First MP Richard Prosser in Investigate magazine.

As for Prosser, at first, he was defiant.

“Well if MPs don’t say this, who will? We are here to represent and to speak about the views that people have.”

He apologised “unreservedly” the next day.

Jacinda Ardern credits David Clark with helping rid New Zealand of COVID-19
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/07/jacinda-ardern-credits-david-clark-with-helping-rid-new-zealand-of-covid-19.html

Despite his resignation, Ardern told Newshub Nation on Saturday Dr Clark had “all of the knowledge and the technical knowledge” to lead the country’s health response to the pandemic.

She said Dr Clark’s skills and know how helped New Zealand eliminate the virus. All the country’s current cases are in people arriving from overseas – despite tens of thousands of tests being carried out over the past few weeks, zero evidence of local transmission has been found.

Newshub Nation host Tova O’Brien put it to Ardern that Dr Clark was “incompetent” and wouldn’t have been able to handle another outbreak of the virus, which has killed more than half-a-million people overseas.

“Obviously minister Clark himself has reflected on what’s happened in that period of time, and of course, prioritised our COVID response by making the choice to stand down,” said Ardern.

President Trump’s most prominent Silicon Valley supporter, billionaire Peter Thiel, has told friends and associates that he plans to sit out this year’s presidential campaign because he thinks re-election is increasingly a long shot, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

PayPal founder and Facebook director Thiel, who was given New Zealand citizenship in 2011, donated millions to Trump’s 2016 campaign and spoke at the Republican National Convention in the build-up to that year’s election.

National’s new leader Todd Muller has signed up broadcasting veteran and media trainer Janet Wilson as his chief press officer until the election.

Wilson and her husband Bill Ralston were involved in media and election debate training for former Prime Ministers Sir John Key and Sir Bill English, as well as several other National Party MPs. Both are also regular commentators in the media.

It is understood former leader Simon Bridges did not use the pair. However, they are close to National Party deputy leader Nikki Kaye.

  19. Labour are plunging to sewer tactics in their effort to make National look bad before the 2020 General Election. It started with Chris Hipkins this morning saying that the release of names of those with Coronavirus in isolation could be criminal and would charged if found and now today a story in the Herald about Clare Curan and dirty Politics by National. No one does dirty Politics better than Labour and the way they smear and lie to infer its National, but really dirty Politics with both Clare Curran and Jacinda Ardern caught out many times lying to cover their arse several times a week.

Work and Income defends against claims of discrimination against women and Māori.

Work and Income has been accused of “systemically discriminating against women and Māori” by making them pay back debts at faster rates than other groups.

But the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) says it’s simply because they borrow more.

Auckland Action Against Poverty (AAAP) obtained documents under the Official Information Act showing 224,479 people owe money to Work and Income, up from 169,888 five years ago.

The total amount owed has risen from $117 million to $307 million, and the average debt doubled from $690 to $1368.

On the other hand, maybe it’s a master stroke by the State to give this taxpayer-money-doling-out entities names that no-one can use, in the hope that people will stop using them….?

Well the system should have stopped many thing Labour indulge at in Parliament including the sex assault on a young Lass working as a intern that accused a deviate work in the Prime Ministers Office, but what happened Jacinda took charge when it should have gone straight to the Police and slowly but disgracefully sweep it under the carpet with the help of Labours Laywers. Well this is true Labour form with sexual complaints and you have to look back to Darren Hugh’s and the sex saga which happened at one of Annette Kings residence that happened in the last Labour Government to realize the truth means nothing within the Labour Party.

Small towns flooded with visitors for school holidays

And one local mayor says they’re doing so well, perhaps the border should stay shut.

But below the rocky mountain, stories of success in the surrounding towns will be giving them hope. Weekend after weekend, Taupō is flooded with visitors.

“This is probably the fifth or sixth week that, anecdotally, cafes, hospo are up 20 percent on normal pre-COVID times,” says Taupō Mayor David Trewavas.

And a portion of those are arriving by plane. This is the busiest weekend for Auckland Airport since flights were grounded.

More than 16,000 people are flying over the busy school holidays. And it’s small-town New Zealand that’s absorbing all those much-needed visitors.

“It’s unbelievable and – dare I say it – keep the borders closed as long as you like,” Trewavas says. “Haha – I don’t mean that!”

  28. Maori Council calls the Auditor General in on potentially insolvent Councils – Tauranga City, Western Bay of Plenty, Far North District Council &
The New Zealand Maori Council has asked that the Auditor General intervene and audit the finances and management of the following Councils: Tauranga, Western Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, New Plymouth and the Far North District Council. The Councils Executive Director, Matthew Tukaki, has told the Auditor General that ‘The New Zealand Maori Council has deep concerns over the financial viability of the Tauranga District Council, the Western Bay Council, The Gisborne City Council, the Far North District Council and New Plymouth Council. The New Zealand Maori Council has great concern that each of the Councils are insolvent. Under Section 18 of the Maori Community Development Act (1962) the New Zealand Maori Council has received correspondence requesting our intervention in this matter. Having reviewed each of the Council’s operating plans, budgets, financial statements and accounts we share the concern around insolvency”.
