  1. My neighbour can be a conspiracy theorist but he reckons that horseface is going to come out 3or4 weeks before the election, baby neeve in arms and announce the end of her relationship with the wayward fisherman.
In doing so she would get the huge advantage of sympathy from the luvvies around the country and romp back into power without the need for the drunken maggot Peters, I disagreed and pointed out that Jacinda would never carry out such a blatant power grab using her daughter as a prop.
The fisherman wouldn’t suffer to much negative feedback because most men in the country believe he deserves a medal for having stuck around for so long, the other person in a similar position is the poor creature Pete Davies who has been “taking one for the team” for decades.

  2. suicide bombings have all but disappeared worldwide ,now who is responsible for that ?
    (1) Joe Biden,
    (2) Donald Trump.
Trumps shitslapping of the religious nutters in Iran is making progress on stamping out muslim extremism worldwide, this filth cant operate without cash and its drying up.
A couple of Irans nuclear facilities are burning ,makes you wonder if Jacinda is running that place in her spare time…

  3. Jacinda is looking worse by the minute. She is so gaunt her face is all teeth now and looks dreadful. If her relationship is over its almost and I stress almost, (well perhaps that is being too kind) enough to make you feel sorry for her she is looking so bad. Life as PTPM and her home life is certainly taking its toll on her. If you know what is good for you girl give it up your star is burned out.

  5. To add to China’s current woes.

City in China’s Inner Mongolia warns after suspected bubonic plague case

The alert forbids the hunting and eating of animals that could carry plague and asks the public to report any suspected cases of plague or fever with no clear causes, and to report any sick or dead marmots.

  6. Took the COL long enough to react to the threat to our farmland.

Labour’s pledge to protect farmland from carbon forests a ‘step in the right direction’ but ‘question marks’ remain – Federated Farmers
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/rural/2020/07/labour-s-pledge-to-protect-farmland-from-carbon-forests-a-step-in-the-right-direction-but-question-marks-remain-federated-farmers.html

“We’re really pleased there is now acknowledgement there’s an issue with large-scale exotic plantings – particularly those grown just for carbon credits – swallowing up land used for food and fibre production. The result of this trend is loss of export income, employment and the undermining of rural district social cohesion.”

    • The Wellington mafia, all of them can’t be believed.
It all depends on the coalition partners to ensure manifesto promises are kept after election.
But don’t worry they all promise to work with us.
Bullshit ,they will do exactly as they feel like and the colour of the politicians does not seem to matter.
It is all about keeping themselves employed .

  7. Entrance to Tauranga Harbour blocked by broken down log ship

A departing log ship has lost engine power at the entrance to Tauranga Harbour early this morning.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/entrance-tauranga-harbour-blocked-broken-down-log-ship

Tauranga port authorities have set up a response centre to manage the event, while Maritime NZ has established a team to provide coordination and support.

The vessel appears to be on the edge of the shipping channel, where the seabed is sandy.

  8. I did love watching labours new deviats sexual congress at the weekend.
Didn’t Jethro look like a new pin walking Jacinda down the aisle, new suit and all.
Will he look as grand on their wedding day at the abbey. It will be rush to fit it in before the election
I thought the introductorý speech by him was lovely. I did like the bit were he pulled out the pictures that Never had drawn for the occasion of her dad pushing the lawnmower.
Was a shame that the mad queen was speaking in the curtained off room behind the airbrushed cardboard cutout though. Still it was a lovely picture of her and the crowd just went off their heads.
Her speech was just the highlight of the congress after all the deviats had their turns.

Now the colour of the car just happens to be the enemy and so it is called out.

So the driver is called out, as a “racist monster”
I wonder if because he was in a wrong coloured car?
Guilty, as he was driving a privileged car that was his master.

      • The ones that “jump the shark” are just “useful idiots”.

The all serve a purpose, just like a cannon ball, or rather they are expendable “cannon fodder” to achieve the terror, to create a fear other citizens.

Chipping away to create an insecurity, and an extra expensive cost, to bleed out the economics out of a society, to make them more amendable to “new correct” principles, far removed from what they once had.

“Today’s authorisation of a first medicine to treat Covid-19 is an important step forward in the fight against this virus,” said Stella Kyriakides, EU health and safety commissioner.
The decision follows purchase by the US of almost the entire world’s supply of Remdesivir.

  12. Jacinda Ardern gives the media a great opportunity to tackle her about her lies and all they can do is print a sort of opology laden with lies to appease her.
Pundits were quick to criticize Ardern for taking a ‘self congratulatory tone’ in her remarks , but Ardern told Morning Report that was not her intent at all.
Ardern says she and Labour take nothing for granted, I never have and never will.
Anyone who knows me knows I ‘m as far away from self congratulatory as you can probably get .

  13. Poland is not looking to cede its sovereignty to the EU.

Under PiS, Poland has played a purely negative role, obstructing Brussels’ attempts to reform migrant policy and become carbon neutral. …..
….. The country’s Supreme Court said: “Contradictions between Polish law and EU law… will in all likelihood lead to an intervention by the EU institutions regarding an infringement of the EU treaties, and in the longer perspective [will lead to] the need to leave the European Union.” …..

    https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1304137/eu-news-poland-presidential-elections-duda-polls-polexit-supreme-court-spt

Is it a fair warning from the Court, or where does it really owe its allegiance to.
Is it interferring in an election.
If it is perceived to be, it will most likely back-fire.

One can serve 2 masters, and one of the masters has proven, that it does not care for its individual citizens.

  14. Will be interesting to see when the next meeting of that footclub if that CEO still has a job.
A real life poll of how the ordinary person views this nonsense.

Sharing a now-viral image of a player on a girl’s football (soccer) team declining to kneel for Black Lives Matter ahead of a game shared by actor Laurence Fox, Twitter user GJPowell had commented: “More moral fibre than the rest of her teammates combined and more balls than the entirety of the [English Premier League] player pool in the face of Marxist extremism and intimidation…?”

  16. How far down the track has NZ gone?
I venture to say quite a long way, and if you do not think so, soon you will receive the message, like the statues of the elk and mermaid.
Already many “self censure” and look around with who they are speaking with.
It is thought the BLM have jumped a shark, and hope that it will start eating its tail, but that shark, knows how to thrive on terror, corruption, and now a flow of money that subverts “principles” that can be readily moved, for their purpose to gain control. 🙁

entire neighborhood has begun displaying Black Lives Matter signs, at the invitation of Leftist activists who politely knocked on their door and asked them to do so.
When they came to him, he readily agreed:
He knew that unspoken subtext was that if he did not, things would not go well for him in the future.

Which flag are we going to fly or cap? 🙂

Lets recognize “Gulag Archipelago”, written by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn and realize the one regret when he was in Siberia, why the many did not resist, and sure, there would have been some lives sacrificed at the latter stage, but victory of overturning a tyranny then would have been easier and staunched the long suffering painful tortuous bleed out, to despair, that they all suffered under.

    • It’s human nature to hope that if something bad happens it will be to the other guy and not to you. Therefore, most people will keep their heads down and hope that the “problem” will be temporary and soon blow over.
This is why it is so important in a democracy to have a credible opposition party that you can turn to when the regime in power is going off the rails. You need to be able to contact your local MP and express your concerns to them and organize groups of like-minded to work with your MP.

The trouble starts when your communications or visitations to your opposition MP are monitored or intercepted.

What do you do then? Who will help you?

  19. Todd Muller defends Chinese Communist Party-linked National MP Jian Yang, who’s accused of avoiding English media
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/07/todd-muller-defends-chinese-communist-party-linked-national-mp-jian-yang-who-s-accused-of-avoiding-english-media.html

A National MP with links to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been criticised for not being accessible enough to English media outlets – but his boss Todd Muller disagrees.

Louis Houlbrooke from the right-wing Taxpayers’ Union said he was “staggered” to learn that Dr Yang had been refusing to give media interviews to the country’s state broadcaster despite “sitting on a cool $179,000” as an MP.

But Dr Yang has the support of his new leader Todd Muller, who bumped him up the National Party list from 33 to 27. Muller says it’s not true that Dr Yang is avoiding the media because he has fronted on issues to do with statistics.

“He’s done close to 10 in the last 18 months in his role as spokesperson for statistics across all the various media outlets,” Muller told Magic Talk on Monday. “This view that he’s somehow not fronting for media isn’t correct.”

“He’s made very clear statements to the media in the past… He’s statistics spokesperson so I would think that’s fair that when he talks to the media it’s in that context,” Muller said.

  20. Vatican watchdog sees record cooperation levels despite raid

The agency, known by its Italian acronym AIF, reported receiving internal requests for information concerning 423 subjects, a record high number that indicated greater cooperation within the Holy See in efforts to stamp out money-laundering and other financial crimes, the report said.

And yet the report made no mention of the fact that the AIF office was raided on Oct. 1 by Vatican police who seized confidential documentation as part of an investigation by Vatican prosecutors into the secretariat of state’s 2012 investment into a luxury London residential building.

The resulting scandal has exposed that the Holy See poured 350 million euros into the building, much of it donations from the faithful, while signing unfavorable contracts with middlemen who made millions of euros in fees to manage and develop the property.

    • The Catholic Vatican is so dodgy…
..they make the Mafia dudes looking like upstanding citizens.

…Banco Ambrosiano was an Italian bank that collapsed in 1982. At the centre of the bank’s failure was its chairman, Roberto Calvi, and his membership in the illegal former Masonic Lodge Propaganda Due (aka P2). The Institute for the Works of Religion, >>>commonly known as the Vatican Bank,<<< was Banco Ambrosiano's main shareholder.
The Vatican Bank was also accused of funnelling covert United States funds to the Polish trade union Solidarity
and to the Contras through Banco Ambrosiano…

…Calvi went missing from his Rome apartment on 10 June 1982, having fled the country on a false passport under the name Gian Roberto Calvini, fleeing initially to Venice. From there, he apparently hired a private plane to London via Zurich.
A postal clerk was crossing London's Blackfriars Bridge at 7:30 am on Friday, 18 June and noticed Calvi's body hanging from the scaffolding beneath.
Calvi's death in London in June 1982 is a source of enduring controversy and was ruled a murder after two coroners' inquests and an independent investigation. Five people were acquitted of murdering Calvi in Rome in June 2007. Popular speculation has linked the Vatican Bank, the Mafia, and the clandestine Propaganda Due to his death…

They are just so, so dirty.
      ——————–
About 10 years ago the Vatican was still so dodgy it was disconnected from the Italian Banking system and transactions had to be cash only. No electronic banking.
…When you are worse than the corruption of Italy.
      Holy Jeeesus !!

The joker recently in charge of the Holy See (whatever that is ) finances and no 3 in 'Da Church' was Cardinal Pell of Australia.

He was able to handle billions in transactions in an international XXXX organisation but was not well enough to fly first class to Australia to face charges.
      Eventually the scumbag did.

The Catholic church is so, so dodgy.
Pell was rewarded for his holding out against making payment for all its kiddy fiddling (allegedly)
Similarly Cardinal Law of Boston – covered in the Award winning film, 'Spotlight' – was also rewarded when he could no longer hold back the 'dogs of truth'.

They are merely doing God’s work. After all “it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God”. Matthew 19:23-26

    • Nah cold is proof of warming. And very cold is even more proof.

So is warm weather in summer and droughts in deserts. As is rain and wind. Oh and high tides too.

All proof white male capitalists are evil. It’s called “climate science” apparently.

      8

      0

    • Climate change is 90% religion & 10% science so logic is wasted on its disciples. I was reminded of this when the old chook & I visited Franz Joseph glacier earlier on this year.

From Wikipedia: ……” Having retreated several kilometres between the 1940s and 1980s, the glacier entered an advancing phase in 1984 and at times has advanced at the phenomenal (by glacial standards) rate of 70 cm a day.”…….

All this, hundreds of years into the Industrial Age. This alone should show the anthropogenic CO2 theories up for the crap that they are.

      9

      0

      • Yeah after years of telling us it was soon to disappear. Trouble is people could see it advancing with their own eyes.

  25. Another blow back for the COL by hunters and shooting industry. Their growing anger at the total cull of tahr, a mountain goat that is important to the NZ hunting industry but no consultation by Sage.

Growing outrage over Southern Alps tahr cull
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/growing-outrage-over-southern-alps-tahr-cull?auto=6169546109001

The issue’s caused a divide between the Department of Conservation and hunters.

So much so, the issue’s heading for court.

“It would see the end to the tahr hunting resource,” Willie Duley of the NZ Tahr Foundation told 1 NEWS.

Forest & Bird’s Nicky Snoyink thinks the cull is the right approach.

“The problem is there is far too many of them – they are right throughout the Southern Alps and they are eating their way through the native ecosystems and potentially putting them to a point of no return.”

There’s concern the mass cull plan could cost more than 500 jobs of people involved in the lucrative hunting tourism industry.

  26. I’ve been watching Todd Muller’s Facebook page since he became the leader of the NZ National Party.
I gather he’s on some sort of ‘get to know you’ countrywide tour – much like the one Bridges undertook when he assumed the reigns.
We’ve seen pics of his wife and children, planting seedlings with kiddies, attending the rugby in Hamilton, and now at Dunedin Railway station.
I hope all this glad-handing and baby-kissing is going to gain National the middle ground in September.
Can anyone foresee a leak of travel expenses that shows Muller has spent up large while predicting recession, and forgetting to talk policy while he’s about it.
Who the hell of advising these muppets?

  27. I suppose the media will reluctantly report on an armed hold up at a local bar on the weekend… eventually.(Or not)
Apparently, it was perpetrated by two women. The pokie takings would have been quite a bit.
    Also tonight.
My neighbour rang me to say the local bottle store had been robbed and cops were searching the street for the offender.
The police banged on my door to gain entry so as to carry out a search for the naughty armed offender.
It appears the offender had either cut through my section, or parked his getaway car out the front, and their doggy was sniffing around the perimeter.
The boys in blue, armed to the hilt, took my details after doing their search through the house.
I have absolutely nothing to hide, so I took a polite dig at their ineffectiveness by asking how they were going with the local bar robbery.
The nice policeman running the search said he didn’t know what I was talking about.
    Nice looking weapons though.
