  1. Some push back against the police state encouraged by the CoL (& National quislings):

The Independent Police Conduct Authority (IPCA) has received six complaints from gun owners upset by police raids conducted after the mosque shootings on March 15.

One of the complaints is from a Christchurch contractor who says a rifle was levelled at his 12-year-old daughter during a raid on his home by police acting under the Search and Surveillance Act. The act allows police to search an address without a warrant.

The Christchurch contractor, whose property and business were raided on April 2, said a date for the meeting had yet to be finalised.

He remained angry at the way he was treated and wanted answers, he said. He also continued to be puzzled about police asking him if he supported United States President Donald Trump.

The contractor, who is a gun collector and known for helping the community, bought an AR15 about a week after the March 15 mosque shootings because he thought it would have historical significance if he was allowed to keep it. He told police about the purchase through their online notification process. All 11 of his firearms, some of which were WWII weapons, were confiscated.

Interesting that there is a potential thought crime transgression going on as well (“if he supported United States President Donald Trump”).

    • And also in that article, police already deny any cowboy actions…
“Police maintain they acted professionally throughout the raids and deny pointing guns at children as alleged by the contractor.”

    • It will be interesting to see what the response from the Ipca will be. Cops being investigated by cops?

    • I am at a loss for words as to why the f*ck a New Zealander’s opinion of ANY politician, let alone one in a far-distant country, is any of the cops business! WTF? I’d just shut up and ask to speak to my lawyer. No way would i cooperate.

  2. You won`t see this in the MSM,
    https://asianinvasion2019.blogspot.com/2019/05/golly-gosh-people-are-starting-to-get-it.html

Golly Gosh doesn’t even have a police escort so there is no active threat against her life. She has parliamentary security – in the most secure grounds in the country. I recall Deborah Coddington receiving this level of protection when chased by a now deceased former lover. The only person likely to attack Golly Gosh in there is the newly incarnated hero and hugger of the damned, Jami-Lee Ross. And that will be with hugs and kisses.

The bottom line here is that while every civilised person abhors any personal threat against Ghahraman by pathetic cowards hiding in the shadows of cyberspace, there is something deeply distasteful – you could almost say despicable – in her attempts to weaponise that threat politically.

    Indeed.

Before I am accused of doing the same, if I am that powerful I can get others to act – I specifically instruct white supremacists that NO ONE should want Golly Gosh to be dead. It is in yours and everyone else’s interests that she stay alive.

We need her to stay alive and communicating as the more she does the greater the arguments become that we need free speech to be protected.

    From the likes of her.

  3. Perhaps these guys are Patrick Gower’s white supremacists? They certainly seem to think Muslims are inferior and need the white man to speak on their behalf:

The name-change pressure emerged because of the centuries-old sensitivity over the history of the Crusades, which were bloody medieval conflicts between Muslims and Christians.

Mansbridge said on April 3 that the Muslim community didn’t want to be involved in the process.

“We didn’t want them to be in a position where they had to ask. Frankly, they are too polite to say what they feel,” Mansbridge said. [Emph. ed]

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/super-rugby/112943820/super-rugby-crusaders-could-be-poised-for-brand-changes-as-they-await-research-results

BTW Mansbridge, our ancestors called them Saracens but do you know what they called our ancestors? I’ll give you a hint, it wasn’t “Crusaders” it was “Franj”. Ignorance is abundant on the Left. And of course, you also said the parochial “Frankly” which may or may not have connotations to “Franj” you despicable un-sympathetic refuse of a human.

    0

    0

    • In the last paragraph, I was trying to use the language of the Left. On reflection, the last sentence should probably read “…you insensitive despicable un-sympathetic refuse of a human” for using the word “Frankly” which may or may have any links to the Arabic word Franj and the Franks.

(It’s not as though the Left need to prove any links, one only has to claim they exist).

  4. Geoffery Rush has won his defamation case and paid $2.9 million against the Daily Telegraph who accused the Australian actor of inappropriate behaviour with a female actor. Rush has been unable to work since allegations were made during the #metoo campaign to uncover historic sexual assaults turned into somewhat of a witch hunt. Is sanity beginning to return?

  5. In the very latest beat up from the US media, we only have Nancy Pelosi’s word for it that Donald Trump threw a temper tantrum. Since the source is Pelosi, it has absolutely no credibility.

That’s not to say she isn’t telling the truth but she and truth are strange bedfellows.

  6. Why is it “comedian” now means publicity seeking, brain dead, unfunny, communist wanker no one’s ever heard of?

Radio DJ who then does stand up and becomes a ‘comedian’
Then a celebrity as defined by other C and D grade operators.

Gets articles about them and their struggles’ to fill up column inches in NZs rags to round out after the latest lamb and beef auction prices, how bad Donald Trump is, and St Jacinduh’s eternal awesomeness.

Tries to get a on TV show as funded by NZ on Air- because it would never ever pay its own way.

Typically has mental health problems and depression. We are all supposed to go oooooh, how sad. He/she is very braaave.

  7. I have to say, Donald Trump is a very different kind of president (except perhaps Nixon’s “madman theory” with the USSR):

The US military says it has sent two Navy ships through the Taiwan Strait, a move likely to anger Beijing at a time of tense relations between the world’s two biggest economies.

Taiwan is one of a growing number of flashpoints in the US-China relationship, which also include a bitter trade war, US sanctions and China’s increasingly muscular military posture in the South China Sea, where the US also conducts freedom-of-navigation patrols.

The voyage will be viewed by self-ruled Taiwan as a sign of support from the Trump administration amid growing friction between Taipei and Beijing.

  9. Donald Trump is strolling along at Mara Lago, trying to figure out the solution to his immigration crisis. Suddenly, he trips and goes spilling clumsily to the ground.
The secret service rush to check on him. “I’m fine, I’m fine. My tiny baby-hands broke my fall. But what the hell did I trip over?”
The agents check it out, and they unearth a very old looking oil lamp. They hand it to the president who immediately brushes It off to get a better better look at the mysterious object. But no sooner does he begin to brush off the lamp, when there is a blinding explosion of light and smoke!! Poof!! Suddenly, there stood before him the great and powerful “Genie of the Lamp”!!!
“You have freed me from my slumber” “For this I shall Grant you one wish. Anything you can dream of, anything your heart desires, it will be yours, for I am the all-powerful genie of the lamp!”
The President thinks long and hard on this one. He takes a deep breath, runs his hands through his hair. “Ok, Mr. Genie. I wish for a wall. I wish there was a wall that ran the entire length of our southern boarder. I wish it were a wall so tall there’d be snow caps on the top, a wall so formidable that not a single illegal alien could ever get through again!”
The genie looked quizzically at The POTUS and said sarcastically “ Dude, let me get this straight… you want a WALL stretching across the entire Southern border, and that reaches so high into the sky it would develop snow caps at the top?? And you want it SO impenetrable that not a SINGLE MAN could ever cross over again?!? Let me guess, you want me to station the Night’s Watch up on top too, right? Come on Pres, get real! Dude, I’m the all powerful genie of the lamp, sure, but even I have my limits! Thats a BIG ASS freaking wall Don! Im sorry, sir, but you’re gonna need to come up with a different wish. That ones just… its not possible. Think of something else, ANYTHING else. Just not the giant wall.”
“Ok, ok…” replied Trump, “Ive got it. Ive got the perfect wish. I wish all the Democrats would finally accept the fact that I am their president, put an end to the multimillion dollar Mueller report witch hunt, stop clinging to dreams of impeachment and just get back work already”
The genie thought this over thoroughly, took a deep breath and said, “Fuck it man, what kinda material you want this wall made outta???”

He is talking to farmers about aid because of them being attacked by China.
Interesting that he mentioned a farmer that told him all he anted was a level playing field. No aid.
      Trump was surprised.
He has been answering questions for a while now and if you have never watched him this press meeting is a great way to understand him .Up front and transparent.

  11. Police chase car up to 2oo klms and the young driver is killed. Why did they chase this car when they knew who the driver was? The police need to stop this practice and back off. Surely they can get the number plate and follow up later.

    0

    0

    • What use is the number plate on a probably stolen car? They are saying it in this instance because the grandmother had rung up identifying the perpetrator. What did the driver think that the police were going to do to him, beat him up? Why didn’t he just stop?

Even if the cops pulled back on the chase, the front car will still speed off and still crash.

The lesson is you will be chased, there is no point in my opinion to put the ‘maybe they will chase and maybe they won’t’ into the equation.

      0

      • So what if the young hoon had killed another driver or pedestrian while fleeing from the police. This stupidity, that has become staunch behaviour with those who steal cars has got to stop. Mandatory 6months prison for fleeing from police.

It’s a great way to collect news from many contributors, but can still be moderated like this site. Users can be anonymous – no phone number required. You don’t have to be signed up to view.

  15. Sophie Bateman from Newshub believes in defamation of character.

Like the ‘OK’ hand gesture, the character of Pepe the Frog and the phrase “Subscribe to PewdiePie”, the motto “It’s okay to be white” has become a touchstone meme for fascists and white supremacists like Lauren Southern [Emph. ed], who sported a T-shirt bearing the slogan when she touched down in Brisbane last year. It’s not a harmless message, but a signal.

Lauren Southern is not a “White supremacist”. She is a Libertarian. I suggest Bateman actually bother to do some research before she smears people but I guess just lying about people you don’t like is easier.

It does not bode well for the Wellness Budget, the re-calibrated borrowing plans. In between those announcements they have trotted out their tame economist to tell us all Governments have to borrow. As standard Labour MO for bad news about to be come with lots of verbal smoke and mirrors. The global headwinds is almost as worn out as the constant fall back of 9 years of neglect as we evidence their neglect to prepare for the remote chance of getting on to the Government benches. Now they are desperately trying to convince the plebs they are really busy by opening up their diaries. You just can not make this garbage up since only a minority can be fooled all the time.

  20. On this thread at 8.34 this morning “Fairydust” was handwringing over the death of a young headcase who expired after a Police chase. Just the normal crap about how the cops should let them go & follow up with a visit to their door(s) later.

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/northern-advocate/news/article.cfm?c_id=1503450&objectid=12233744

I wonder how this would have panned out had our resident fuckwit’s advice been followed. To summarise……expensive car stolen in Kawakawa……car chase to south of the Brynderwyns…..dangerous driving around school kids……car’s tyres spiked…..perpetrators attempt escape……guns & ammo found……driver totally fried on meth.

The reality escapes Fairydust the same as it totally eludes a few of our fellow commentators. Laws are only obeyed by good citizens. Lengthy & obtrusive roadside drink/drug tests make fuck all difference to the real offenders as they’ll drive on……only the guarantee of apprehension & meaningful punishment has a hope of getting through.
