    • Not lost sight off, the scam continues while you read your YSB or cook your meal.

I read in our newspaper this evening that our local power supply company, also a generator, faced higher than anticipated “Emissions Trading costs” in the last financial year.

I did not ask for increased power costs from my representative government. In fact, stuff the emissions trading rip off increasing my cost of living. It is not going to alter the climate by any fraction of anything but hits my pocket, and every other New Zealanders pocket, every month.

It is an unacceptable scam and our political representatives in voting for this racket have let us down. They have let us down badly by accepting a dimwit ideology set up by master international grifters. The media fluffing about worrying about randy politicians without any conscience are not working usefully on this issue for my liking.

I want to know how slaming an increase on my power account for emissions trading will solve anything other than diminishing my quality of life.

  2. I think perhaps the myth has changed from that one to the Covid 19 one now. I think there has to be one on the go to control the people. When I was a kid it was the Communists coming to get us. And they have, perhaps in a more subtle way than what we were expecting. Now evidently there is 60+% of people wanting to vote the fuc*ers in. There is always something out to get you.

  3. How much are we paying Air NZ not to carry passengers here? They won’t be cancelling all their flights out of kindness. Whatever it is, the govt needs to chalk it up against the quarantine costs we’re being saddled with, as extended quarantine facilities are the other option.

Three seriously injured after Auckland police pursuit
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/07/two-in-critical-condition-after-auckland-crash.html

Police say that at around 2:30am on Tuesday morning, officers spotted a vehicle speeding on Titirangi Rd and attempted to stop the vehicle. However, it fled.

“A short pursuit was initiated which lasted a matter of seconds before the vehicle has crashed into a parked car on Atkinson Rd.”

Three occupants – aged 18, 19 and 25 – have serious injuries and are in Auckland Hospital, according to police. A fourth occupant, aged 17, has minor injuries and is in North Shore Hospital.

  5. The msm are clearly encouraging voting for the left by discrediting National as “untrustworthy”. That is their word for this election fight.

National leader Judith Collins has promised to release the party’s internal polling to her own MPs today to prove Sunday night’s poll was an outlier.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/judith-collins-reveal-internal-polling-national-party

“We have a tremendous amount of support and excitement … it’s just electric.”

The party’s internal polling had National’s support much closer to 40 per cent, Collins said.

She said she would share the actual numbers with her caucus at today’s regular meeting at Parliament.

“I think it’s important to know how wonderfully we’re all doing.”

    • It bloody needs to be above 40% before they get too damn happy. However I suspect the rogue poll has a sinister motivation, tell people what the situation is so that they start to believe this and it becomes self fulfilling. National should just release their internal polling to the masses to counter the bullshit. I don’t know why its kept secret. Also I suspect a lot of right leaning people would tell a pollster they support Labour just to give them a false sense of security. Labour supporters are too stupid, or to fanatical to try this stint. The bottom line is that National got 44% in 2017, 47%, in 2014, 47% in 2011, 45% in 2008, 39% in 2005, 21% in 2002. Based on this I would expect to see National get around at 40% this year, even though there is the Jacinda Fairy Dust affect. I beleive Judith Collins will quickly dust off a lot of that pixie dust and expose the lying harlot for all to see.

    • Well there needs to be a change in the way government operates. The seeming daily announcements of funding swimming pools, international education, illegal drug user rehabilitation etc are just not affordable. Our supposed representatives are committing the country to debt at a level to impact more than a generation.

I did not give any mandate for the wanton government expenditure currently being announced almost daily. Yes it is election year but what is currently going on is not acceptable.

  6. Saggy’s quarantine solution:
Anyone wanting to come to NZ assembles at a designated port somewhere (not passing through that country’s borders). They are Covid tested, and if clear can board a cruise ship (plenty floating round at the mo doing nothing). If not clear go into isolation and treatment. Ship sails and takes 14 days to reach NZ. Passengers confined to cabins. Testing takes place days 3 and 12 on voyage. Anyone positive on arrival goes into treatment/isolation in NZ; cabin scrubbed. A single cruise ship probably has the same capacity as our current quarantine facilities. No one can do a runner. Currently costing $3000/person for hotels – should cover ship.
    You’re welcome!

    • But Im a taxpayer still. When I return ( hopefully Sept if they open the fkin a’port here) I dont have a great desire to pay for my forced quarantine. It can come out of my tax. Ive already paid for my airticket..one way and that was 50% more than the standard one way price. If the fat fairy is getting short of funds..how about whipping a bit out of the one billion recently given to Maori ( because of their skin colour ) or peel some of the 50 Million a year the taxpayer gives to Maori television and put it into health/quarantine. I was born in New Zealand, I am New Zealander, Im coming back home and Im not fucking paying one cent.

  7. Not sure if Nats can pull it off in time but I absulotuely guarantee National will still be up around 40%.
There is simply no way that almost half of National’s voters from the last Election have now swung Left and become ‘Jacindamaniacs’.

That being picked up and spread will stir up a few nasty hornets. 😈😈😈

I hope the Nats see your list. They can ask Cindy about each one before the election. 😂

  9. Old news from Aussie. A friend in NSW contacted me with some hot gossip concerning the prison inmate Karel Sroubek being the supplier of drugs for you know who.

I had to break the news that it was old information. Apparently the story is now doing the rounds in certain circles over there. He was incredulous that the media are involved in a major coverup and asking why do we accept it.

    Good question.

  12. Judith Collins takes dig at Greenpeace protesters
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/rural/2020/07/judith-collins-take-dig-at-greenpeace-protesters.html

Judith Collins has taken a dig at Greenpeace protesters demonstrating against climate change.

On Monday a group of activists blocked a synthetic fertiliser plant in Taranaki owned by agri-chemical company Ballance.

The protesters said they were drawing attention to the link between synthetic fertiliser, intensive dairying and the climate crisis.

“If we’re going to take real climate action, we need fewer cows, and a full phase-out of synthetic fertiliser,” said Greenpeace agriculture campaigner Gen Toop.

On Tuesday Collins waded into the topic, tweeting a photo shared by Toop which showed a protester giving a cup of hot chocolate to a police officer at the demonstration.

“No one tell them that hot chocolate has MILK in it,” Collins wrote.

  13. A good succinct article, showing up the so called authorities with their so called experts.
The revised history as put out by the BBC about Winston Spencer Churchill is to drag down “the finest hours” of British history, and to try and show that white history & culture is nothing

……. “Winston Churchill was not a relevant factor behind the 1943 Bengal famine” — precipitated by a cyclone which destroyed huge swathes of the country’s crops, rather than any direct action by the British colonial authorities.

“The agency with the most responsibility for causing the famine and not doing enough was the government of Bengal,” Roy insisted.

“It is often said that Churchill prevented import of food in Bengal. This has no relevance either.
There was no famine in the rest of British India; the Bengal government could easily import food from other regions.”

Popular military historian Sir Max Hastings said that while he regarded Churchill’s actions during the famine as a “blot on his record”,
[allowing credit to the detractors, NO as he should know much more better.]
it was “pretty outrageous” that the BBC “failed to include a voice to suggest that his services to Britain, and to mankind, were so great that they must rightfully be set in the balance against this failure.”

Second World War historian James Holland further suggested that “Historians of British India tend not to understand” the context in which the Bengal famine took place — namely, the Second World War.

Indeed, many of the countries traditionally relied upon to supply India in times of shortages had been overrun by the Japanese
    — who further exacerbated the situation in Bengal with an air raid campaign
    — at the time of the famine, while shipping supplies in from countries like Australia was complicated by a lack of resources and submarine warfare.

Indeed, Churchill wrote to U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt expressing serious concerns about the situation in Bengal and requesting American assistance to transport relief aid —
“We have the wheat [in Australia] but we lack the ships” — but Roosevelt proved unable if not unwilling to fully fulfil these requests.

Instead of focusing on the Bengal famine in particular, some critics of Churchill have attempted to smear him as a racist by referencing quotes and alleged quotes describing Indian people in less than complimentary terms.

However, while Churchill, having born in 1874, did express himself in terms which would be considered socially unacceptable today, many believe he was in many ways progressive by the standards of his own time, for example telling his War Cabinet in 1943:
“The old idea that the Indian was in any way inferior to the white man must go.
We must all be pals together.
I want to see a great shining India, of which we can be as proud as we are of a great Canada or a great Australia.”

    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/07/26/historians-slam-bbc-anti-churchill-propaganda/

Many times Winston called it as he saw it, and based on his experience, and his research and reasoning, and sure made some mistakes, but always principled, and seeking after knowledge & wisdom, to build a better future.
Most certainly more than a 100%+ better than the ones trying to drag his name into the mud.

Any simple research would have elicited these facts, and with reason would understand where the truth is.
But so many are on an ideologically agenda, to twist, forget, the facts to further the indoctrination to break down Western Civilization.

So they want to seek further compensatory claims of past “colonist oppression.” so they can wallow in “virtue signalling””victim-hood” of “#metoo” and gain control through “unconscious bias” and bring about “white guilt”, so as to bring about a “self genocidal suicide”.

Winson Churchill:- …. “: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty – never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense.
Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. …”

  15. Election 2020: Judith Collins: My eyebrows will tell you when I’m joking
    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12351589

This was in reference to the number of people who have escaped isolation facilities in the past few weeks.

When put to her that people had escaped under her tenure – Collins said she was joking when she made the comments.

“When my eyebrow goes up”, it’s a joke,” she said, before quipping “do you not understand a joke”, soon after.

Collins raised questions about queue jumping, suggesting Boochani may have been given preferential treatment.

Collins said she will be asking questions of ministers to make sure Boochani was not given preferential treatment – given the list of refugees looking to come to this country is long.

“I’m not the morals police and the National Party, I don’t pretend… I am not their mother confessor for goodness sake,” she told media.

“But it is very important that people know that if they indulge in any activity that could involve a police investigation that we know about it very quickly.”

Man jailed for helping dispose of friend’s body in concrete grave told victim’s family dead man was overseas
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/man-jailed-helping-dispose-friends-body-in-concrete-grave-told-victims-family-dead-overseas

Wang’s close friend Piao Yanlong was today sent to prison for 14 months for helping to dispose of his body after he was killed, allegedly by two other men who are yet to stand trial.

In the Auckland High Court today, Justice Jagose said that Piao was contacted by one of the men after the killing and told to help dispose of the body.

They took multiple vehicles from Auckland to the grave site, with Piao carrying the body in the back of a van.

“Your offending is aggravated by its inherent callousness in disposing and concealing Mr Wang’s body and in a way that amounted to its cruel desecration by entombing it in concrete at an isolated location,” Justice Jagose said.

    AN UNPLANNED PLAN
The Government will spend $52 mln propping up the export education sector but can’t say when in 2021 it’ll increase managed isolation capacity to let in international students.

The Government would rather keep borders closed to international students and prop up the education sector, than it would increase managed isolation capacity to let them in – at least until 2021, after the election.

Education Minister Chris Hipkins on Monday announced $51.6 million was mostly being allocated towards schools and private tertiary education providers, like language schools, affected by the closed border. He said universities had strong balance sheets and weren’t going to “go broke”, meanwhile polytechs are being funded as they’re subject to major reforms.

  31. National has blocked a move that will allow Māori to more frequently switch between electoral rolls over fears of “manipulation”, despite the Electoral Commission saying it would be a good idea.

The number of Māori and general electorates is then set using results from the census and the subsequent Māori Electoral Option which allows people to choose which roll they want to be on.

The Electoral Commission recommended that be changed at the last election in 2017. It told the Justice Select Committee Māori should be able to change rolls once every three years.

    • As a country we can choose which country to have an extradition treaty with or not. We did have one in the case of Hong Kong but the situation changed. We did not make that change but are reacting to it.

Given the behaviour of the Chinese Communist Government in the Hong Kong situation, I agree with the position taken by our government. Just as China says the relationship between countries is important, so too is it important that we are consistent with the application of law and human rights in countries we associate with. The CCP would do well to reconsider the actions currently being taken in HongKong.

I do not appreciate my country being addressed as we have been by the Chinese in this matter.
