  1. Well ain the crap coming out.

As I predicted several weeks ago Labour are not going to contest the election but run on their performance. Being nice, eliminating the wog, eliminating poverty, eliminating housing shortages. etc etc. well you’ve heard it all.

Oh being a bitch to all.
    That’ll work.

    • A new book has appeared on the shelves at Whitcoulls.
‘I Know this to be True- Jacinda Ardern talks about Kindness’

It’s official- We are now living in North Korea (or 1950s Russia or China) Comrades!

      • C1,
There is also a children’s book extolling Jacindas amazing achievement in becoming PM and her wonderful leadership.
A great role model for all NZ children!.

Family members bought it for me as a very bad joke.

        • In Wellington book stores have big displays of pro Ardern books, of which there are many. Along with books promoting conspiracy theories against centerists and Trump Derangement Syndrome.

There are full blown propaganda posters plastered around public spaces.

It’s beyond belief unless you’ve seen it.

        • “Jacindas amazing achievement”

It was the work of less than Honourable W. Peters (NZF)
No achievement on the part of Horse face
The man with Fishing ‘connections’ put the Fish and Chip gurl in place.

Falcon: Did you tell the family you changed your will and leaving it all to a Kea (or Falcon) sanctuary?
..and it is not a joke, just an interesting fact!!

          Does it say?-

‘Jacinda was disappointed that her Kindness and Hugs only got her 36% of the votes in the Grown-Ups Election. But Jacinda was just sooo excited when Uncle Winston phoned her and told her he had made her a real life Prime Minister because he hated the big meanie Paula Bennett so much’
‘Jacinda then moved her amazeballs DJ equipment into the Houses of Parliament and everyone lived happily ever after’

      • We need to work on eliminating Labour and its supporters, and getting rid of the wasteful parliamentary system which is ruining our homeland.
Practical strategies urgently needed. No holds barred.
Ditch democracy and bring in strong leaders. You know who I mean.

  2. Has Helen had an epiphany?

Remember when the Nats. privatised the prisons and other things?
Remember the vitriol Clark lambastedn everyone involved with.

well it seems that now she doesn’t think that way.
Private sector partnerships needed to ease capacity ‘choke point’, Helen Clark says
Private sector partnerships are needed to address a bottleneck at New Zealand’s quarantine facilities, former prime minister Helen Clark says.

Clark, who is co-chairing the World Health Organisation’s panel tasked with giving an “honest assessment” of the global response to the coronavirus pandemic, told an Auckland audience there was no reason why borders could not be reopened provided a mandatory two week quarantine remained in place.

The only issue was the “choke point” of limited quarantine capacity, she said.

“There’s so much more we can do if we tackle that bottleneck,” Clark said.
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/industries/122357203/private-sector-partnerships-needed-to-ease-capacity-choke-point-helen-clark-says

Must be some money in it for her or she is pissed because she can’t travel the world without having to spend weeks in a room by herself.
While she is likely correct it just smacks of hypocrisy.

  3. Grant Robertson :
“Officials continue to work on the framework for how we would operate bubbles and how that would work with the Cook Islands and Tokelau, so that’s ticking along.”

Tokelau? Why of all places, Tokelau? Oh hang on, isn’t Cindy’s dad the administrtator of Tokelau? Doesn’t it take a ride with the air force and the navy to actually get there?

    16

    0

    • To get to Tokelau you have to go via Samoa.

I don’t think Samoa have forgotten last year’s Measles outbreak (81 dead children) that occurred under Ashen Bloomfailed watch.
We got 22 very old people dead from Covid (maybe?) . They got 81 dead kids on a population of 200,000.
      The score is not settled.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/08/drug-driver-testing-bill-passes-first-reading-in-parliament.html

A Bill giving the police power to conduct random roadside saliva drug testing has passed its first reading.

The Land Transport Amendment Bill will allow police to test if drivers are under the influence of drugs anywhere, anytime, as they do now for alcohol.

Drivers who test positive for the presence of drugs would be fined, immediately suspended from driving for 12 hours, and lose half of their demerit points.

    • I manage our rentals myself, but ever since my first bad tenant experience, I’ve employed a real estate firm to find new tenants. I get to choose from a final short-list. They’re better set up to check references, credit history etc, and for me it’s money well spent. Landlords are now not going to take a chance on anyone who doesn’t have excellent credentials. Labour’s just growing the state house waiting list.

  6. NZ ‘highly vulnerable’ to new Covid-19 outbreak as protective measures dwindle

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/nz-highly-vulnerable-new-covid-19-outbreak-protective-measures-dwindle?auto=6178204623001

“We have eliminated the virus and we’re approaching 100 days with no community transmission. I mean, where else in the world would you want to live right now?”

However, loosening restrictions may be leaving a gap in New Zealand’s protection.

“I guess you could say none of which really matters as long as we don’t have Covid. But the paradox is we are now highly vulnerable to a new incursion of the virus across our boarder.

“A single super-spreader that gets across our border could easily infect a few hundred people several days before they are ultimately tested and identified to be carrying the virus.”

    7

    0

    • We have done 1,089 tests of people working on our border facilities and keeping people in quarantine. That means, taking an arbitrary 90 day window, we’re doing 12 tests per day of everybody likely to get in touch with Covid-19. Now, air crews can fly in from Victoria, hop on a domestic flight back to their home town and spend 48 hours in self-isolation before being free to roam around the country as they please.

It is sheer luck that we haven’t had a second outbreak yet.

      10

      0

      • How many thousand people work at our border facilities from bag handlers, cleaners, customs, shop assistants, etc, etc and they tested 1089 only!

        3

        0

    • New Zealanders have accepted isolation and feel safe and comfortable with it. According to the NZ Herald:
“Most Kiwis want New Zealand’s borders to stay shut to non-residents, despite high-powered calls to soften restrictions to ease economic pain. That’s according to the NZ Herald-Kantar Vote 2020 poll, suggesting 68 per cent of people think our border policy should be kept as is.”

There goes 20% GDP from tourism and foreign student education. I can’t imagine bus loads of time-starved Chinese spending 2 weeks in quarantine before their whirlwind 5-day package tours of New Zealand!

When you train animals to get used to their cages and keep them safe and comfy, don’t be surprised if they don’t want to come out to do battle with the real world again.

      11

      0

      • Who benefited most from Chinese whirlwind tours?
Did this country benefit from foreign student education or was it the students who used the system for backdoor to residency ?

        • We shall see.
A bit of nationalism and love of one’s country can be a good thing when times are hard.
The first rule of nationalism: know who you are.
The second rule of nationalism: Love. Love your family. Love your community. Love your country.

Caveat: Nationalism can be like a powerful drug. Too little and you may hate your own culture. Too much and you may hate the cultures of people who are not like you.

    • It is inevitable that we will get the Covid virus here (we ain’t seen nuthin yet) which is why it is all the more important that we have sufficient stocks of HCQ and start making it available over the counter. Wrecking our economy was not necessary and following Australia and Britain’s absurd mass hysteria would be utter madness, we do not need to do even more damage unless that really was the plan all along.

  7. So as many of my YSB friends know I have a close relative in the Labour Party.
I asked him on FB last night why my local Labour MP has been invisible but I have already had two visits from an awesome bloke from National. (I am no longer in the Auckland Central Electorate)
    His answer
“We don’t really even have to campaign. The Polls are telling us Jacinda will fucking romp in and Govern alone”

    Arrogance much?
I think the Election (Like most Elections) will be damn close.
They might still win the Election in September but I guarantee those supremely arrogant Labour fuckers are going to get one hell of a fright!

Europe didn’t “do it right” apart from Sweden most of Europe and especially Britain succumbed to mass hysteria and have been running around like headless chickens, utterly bereft of real leadership. As a direct result of that lack of leadership they have needlessly wrecked their economies and the economic catastrophe they have unleashed will last for years if not decades.

  8. Why?

Bomb squad called to mall in Hamilton
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/08/bomb-squad-called-to-mall-in-hamilton.html

Hamilton’s Chartwell shopping centre has been cordoned off after several suspected “homemade explosive devices” were located.

“The NZDF Explosive Ordnance Disposal team has been advised and will be attending,” a police statement said. “The roads around Chartwell mall have been cordoned off – Hukanui Rd, Lynden Ct and Comries Rd.”

    5

    0

      • Chartwell seems like an unlikely target. A small urban mall in a quiet backwater. Perhaps the bomber doesn’t have a vehicle to travel to ‘The Base’ shopping centre where a bomb threat would have much more impact. A local nutter with a grudge against one of the Chartwell retailers perhaps. 🤡

        5

        0

        • Maybe WG but I have a feeling that there’ll be a little more behind this than a retailer failing to honour a guarantee. Don’t forget that a little mall in a quiet backwater is likely to be frequented by the white people the immigrants & “refugees” hate.

The only way we’ll know whether I’m right is if there’s a media blackout & suppression of any details that may identify the perpetrators or their nationality.

          Positive discrimination & all that.

          7

          0

          • Things must have changed from when we lived there although that is 30 years ago. I just can’t see it being a target but then I guess that is the point for the bomber – when you least expect it!

And of course, only the dear leader can save us.

      5

      0

    • I’m sorry but you guys are being too logical and not insane enough.

Remember my post last week – everything (EVERYTHING) that happens in an election year – is about the election (for emphasis EVERYTHING!)

So looking around the world at the playbook of the psychotic left here are some golden rules:
      – there must be a soft, warm, cuddly trustworthy figure to aggregate sympathy and affection for (the great patriotic leader-type)
      – there must be an enemy to focus the sheeple’s fear upon
      – it has to be a simple, understandable enemy for the sheeple to understand and focus themselves on
      – you have to keep repeating the simple message about the enemy
      – you must drown out anything that distracts from the simple enemy for the sheeple to fear
      – never let a crisis or tragedy go to waste (like oh I don’t know 1000s of Lebanese getting blown up by a fertiliser explosion)

I predicted last year that our great patriotic leader was going to need (another) false flag to cement her second term in place, I think we’ll find that the great patriotic leader has decided that we need another reminder we need to be afraid of white supremacists in the lead up to the great patriotic leader’s approaching moment in the sun due to Voldemort Tarrant’s sentencing in a few weeks. Now that the horrific Lebenese fertiliser explosion is fresh in our minds – what better time for us all to be reminded of how those dreadful white supremacists would like to do the same to us peace-loving, diversity-loving progressive sheeple.

Labour can see that Judith is coming for them in the polls.

I think it’s time for the boogy man to be trailed in front of the sheeple so they can be reminded of what cowering, cud-chewing prey animals they are and they can fall in line and vote for the great patriotic leader (not knowing that it will be the last time they’ll be allowed to do so).

But Ardern used his actions to justify her attacks on centerist political dissidents.

I will keep saying this: Ardern is much more dangerous and extreme than her detractors know.

          • If you want a “black flag” operation for the benefit of the current regime, then you have to follow the “rules.”
            – The “act” must be performed by someone with a very-low-ranking on the identitarian victimhood totem pole
            – The group directly affected must be very-high-ranking on the identitarian victimhood totem pole
            – The group directly affected must NOT be members of an important trading partner (the less important the better)
            – The State’s solution is to clamp down very hard on honest, law-abiding citizens

                – Compulsory ID cards?
                – Compulsory ID smartcards with tracking capability?
                – Domestic travel restrictions?
                – Compulsory immunization?

If you want to do some serious damage get some highly concentrated Nitric Acid, pure glycerine, Sulphuric Acid and Diatomaceous earth. Carefully , Very fucking carefully mix the nitric acid and the glycerine and sulphuric acid together and then carefully, very fucking carefully mix diatomaceous earth into it. Then you just need a standard detonator although a large fire cracker may do the job. If you survive the mixing process, send your number to me, I have a few stumps I need removed. If not, I’ll send flowers to your funeral.

But no amount of media propaganda will disguise the bleak reality for the election following. Sadly it will be too late and our country will be in ruins. Bankrupt, divided socially and with countless laws passed removing our freedoms.

On the papers, we are already a failed totalitarian socialist state. Over the next 3 years people are going to learn just what that means for them.

I’m not down about it. NZ deserves to suffer for supporting Ardern.

    • 2020
      Interesting parallel to 1987.
The election was 15 August, 1987 and Liebour got a second term under Fat Guts Lange

Then two months later Black Monday occurred and the stock market crashed.
Within a year the mood had changed and people could not wait for the next election.
Unemployment was 12% by 1990 with hotspot areas much worse.
      Murupara being one on them.

Mortgage interest rates were fecking awful.
It was grim but we had to ride it out.
Emigration to Australia in 1988 was huge.

Bolger got a landslide victory in 1990 but performed so badly they almost did not get back in 1993.
      Notional dropped from 47% 1990… to 35.05% 1993.
      Liebour recovered to 34.68%.
Notional got 50 of the 99 seats under the last FPP election.

Idiots voted for MMP in that 1993 referendum.

I strongly expect this mob to stay in power but within a year reality will bite.
      1988 revisited.
Possibly an outright win to Liebour with inclusion of the Greens if they get back in.
Along the lines of what Notional did with Maori in 2008.

Stock up your Spirits now , comrades, coz there will be lots of new taxes and even more misery.
You will be marked a white supremacist if you want three Barratt brothers in the All Blacks.
Paddy Gower will be gnawing away at your door with his beaver teeth to get an interview with you supremacists.
But hey, you might be able to buy a spliff at the dairy.

My sources tell me that now would be a good time to be doing your panic buying at the supermarket if you want to avoid standing in line in the rain, with a mandatory face-mask on while being monitored by Cindy’s thought police.

The WHO plant has been talking up lockdowns, Cindy has been talking up lockdowns, they want to inhibit the opposition’s ability to talk and listen to the electorate.

Lockdown is the dream scenario and back to daily lectures/televised free election advertising from the great patriotic leader

  13. Landlords will put up rent with or without law changes – Renters United
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/money/2020/08/landlords-will-put-up-rent-with-or-without-law-changes-renters-united.html

In a private Facebook group for property investors, landlords reacted furiously, calling it a “class-hatred Labour ambush” and “not good for society as a whole”. Screenshots of their complaints were uploaded and shared on web forum Reddit.

One said “successful and hard-working” landlords were being punished with “typical socialist incompetence”, and another complained they’d have to “suck up” the costs of the change allowing victims of domestic violence to terminate their tenancy with just two days’ notice.

“Can only hope that intelligent people don’t vote for these mongrels,” said one. “Problem is the percentage of intelligent people has been decreasing for years as the non-intelligent group has been breeding faster for years,” replied another (a study in 2018 found it was in fact the other way around).

    8

    • The CoL advised local governments to put the rates up. 🙁

The government believes damage done by tenants will be covered by insurance, but the insurance companies have been relentlessly putting up premiums, by one reason or another, so another reason for its climb.

Land lords using agencies, to get the renting protocol right, and to understand the laws & regulations have to pay more commissions, so again another reason to raise rents.

Just repairs & maintenance, going up, as to keep things for normal wear & tear, and those costs going up.
Often to a standard above the land lord’s home.

The raw fertilizer is not an explosive. You might get a low yield explosion with a dentonator and booster charge. Nothing like properly prepared and detonated ANFO.

The only question is: Who wants to mess up Lebanon? My guess is Fijian Hindus.

  15. Ah, that makes more sense about Chartwell “bombing”. A good old attempt at dislodging an ATM with explosives. 🤑

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/08/bomb-squad-called-to-mall-in-hamilton.html

Parts of Hamilton are in lockdown after homemade explosives were found at Chartwell mall.

Police say the incident appears to be a targeted attempt at damaging an ATM and cordons remain in place.

“The Specialist Search Group is undertaking a comprehensive search of the shopping centre and surrounds, to ensure nothing of concern is left unnoticed,” police said in a statement. “The New Zealand Defence Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team is also at the scene.

“This appears to be a targeted attempt at damaging an ATM, located on the exterior wall of the shopping centre at its southern end.”

  16. Transparency concerns around Provincial Growth Fund ‘kind of justified’, Paula Bennett says

Outgoing National MP Paula Bennett has warned against ministers potentially “going around and distributing funds as they kind of pick a favourite project” after transparency concerns were raised around the Provincial Growth Fund (PGF).
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/transparency-concerns-around-provincial-growth-fund-kind-justified-paula-bennett-says?auto=6178529670001

“It’s got to be that it stacks up, that it’s value for money – that it’s part of a bigger picture of ‘are we getting the country moving?’

“When you ask the regions what they really want, they seriously want transport, they seriously want infrastructure, they want broadband, they want those sorts of things.

“There is some risk and you can see it in the Auditor-General’s report when you’ve kind of got ministers making decisions from the hoof for what can be seen as, perhaps, not the best decisions, and I just think that’s probably some of the concerns in the fund and I think they’re kind of justified.”

  17. This is for Alice, in particular, but everyone should take note of how Turkey has kept deaths down partly by early use of HQC. I think they might do better if they used the full Zelenko protocol ( HQC + Zinc + antibiotic)

    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/08/jail-fauci-new-report-compares-turkey-covid-treatment-hcq-vs-usa-without-hcq-results-crystal-clear/

If John Key, Helen Clark and Rob Fyfe are serious about getting rid of choke points etc. they need to get some independent advice on HQC and understand that big Pharma and Gates are spreading a heap of BS to protect their potential profits from a vaccine if and when it comes along. There is absolutely no doubt that HQC works as a prophylactic and in the early stages of infection.

To be fair I think Rob Fyfe sees through the vaccine bit–on Hosking’s show this morning he said something like ” It’s funny but I’ve always had the annual flu shot but I have still managed to get the flu a few times” In other words he does not see a vaccine as the solution.

    • The best way to save lives:

      1. Get back to normal. Now.
      2. Do nothing.

It can not and will not be stopped. Attempts to do so are doing more harm than good. Zero lives have been saved, but billions are suffering as a result of politically motivated lockdowns.

      • I agree Kea, but they have 65% of the population (based on the NZH survey about border closure) totally traumatised with their BS propaganda, so doing a cold turkey will not work. Having HQC easily available for use as a prophylactic, if you chose, would be a step in the right direction. Even in Iran you can buy HQC in the vitamin section of a supermarket.

    • Here is another one. Insider trading as related to a company called Moderna who is doing research on vaccines and some very “dodgy” technology. All the usual players ( Gates, the big investment banks etc.) are involved and you do not have to be that bright to understand why HQC is their demon.
It’s another case of follow the money.

The deadly Beirut blast that killed more than 100 people has driven fresh calls for a large ammonium nitrate stockpile and plant in Newcastle, storing up to four times the amount reportedly detonated in the blast, to be relocated away from residents.

Lebanon’s Interior Minister said 2750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate was in the Beirut blast.

Newcastle’s stockpile of 6000-12,000 tonnes is stored at Orica’s Kooragang Island plant in the Port of Newcastle, according to the company.

“That factory is only three kilometres from Newcastle’s CBD and only 800 metres from North Stockton residents,” said chemical engineer and community campaigner Keith Craig.

“It’s a totally inappropriate place to have such a dangerous material produced and stored, and it’s something we’ve been complaining about for many, many years.

The independent MP and three businessmen were charged with electoral fraud at the start of the year, after a 10-month Serious Fraud Office (SFO) investigation.

The charges, which the four men deny, relate to two $100,000 donations paid to the National Party.

The SFO said the material was sent to all the defendants as part of its disclosure obligations and Ross then expressed an interest in publishing it.

“The agency believes any publication of the material would have breached the SFO’s secrecy provisions and been contrary to requirements of confidentiality applying to the use of material obtained through court proceedings.
