  1. Haha very good Ed. Gawd I get sick to death of looking at her.
I nicked the following from moderate.co.nz blog while you were all sleeping. 100% on the money this poster.

    Overworked
“If we do end up with an authoritarian Labour/Greens govt unleavened by Winston, one useful thing they could do is to get rid of low value tourism. Lose the bus tours, the cyclists and the campervan hires by foreigners. I’d be inclined to require proof of residence for campervan hire after that.

Concentrate on the tourists who give us highest daily value and grow that market. Low-value foreign tourists include too large a group who trash the countryside and crap on the riverbanks and roadsides, destroying what people come to see and what we would all like to see too, if only we could all afford it.

Bus tours typically bring very little money into the country – much of what they do bring ultimately leaves NZ, to little benefit to us as a country.

And a final rant – reserve at least half of hut spaces for NZ’ers, residence holders and people with a working visa – people whose taxes pay for the tracks and huts – and charge all others enough to keep the huts fullish. There will still be no shortage of takers. And for the love of heaven, implement an effective way to police hut tickets. Personal experience would indicate that maybe 1/3 of people have tickets on most tracks.”

Get rid of the freedom campers and the busloads of cheap charlies. Make NZ a sought after destination, reduce the numbers and charge more, way more. I’ve seen first hand the destruction of Phuket over the last 20 years, with their shit tourists who spend fuck all and leave behind carnage, plastic and rubbish like you WOULDNT believe, filth, destruction, societal damage and chaos. Yes, Im talking mainly Chinese pack ’em in all you can eat and shit junk 7 day fly in fly out grubbs. NZ is in a very unique position. We can pick and choose who comes and goes. These are the minimum standards and this how much its gona cost you. If you dont like it, dont come.

    Rant over.

    • …..”Make NZ a sought after destination, reduce the numbers and charge more, way more”……

Amen. It’s time to sit back & consider that of late, 80% of incoming tourists have contributed nothing to NZ other than financial churn & their shit. You can identify them easily:

      1) Bus loads of Chinese tourists who arrive on Chinese airways, travel in Chinese owned buses, stay in Chinese controlled hotels & buy souvenirs in Chinese owned shops. And don’t start on the tax paid. Overseas companies operating in NZ pay jackshit in the way of tax here.

      2) Clapped out campervans of “youth” tourists who freedom camp, eat noodles or takeaways, shit freely everywhere & spend fuck all.

To quote a phrase from “The Mikado”……..”And none of them be missed”.

    • A fine rant indeed. The less is more mantra applies. Less but more quality at better return with less negative impact. We do need to prevent and remove the impact of the low value stuff that seems to socialise cost while the gains are made by a few.

      • I would add to that we should apply the same rules to oversea’s students.
Charge more and stop wasting our own resources that are not being used to better our own kids on some other contries kids. Kids who have wealthy parents and are looking for a place to live.

  2. Every time I see or hear her I feel a bit of vomit enter my mouth. The lies the smarmy faced bitch and her useless col tell are destroying New Zealand. Please somehow someone let people have an epic change of heart and vote Act and National. It’s so upsetting to see how the world is falling for the communist leftists all the world through. They are violent and cruel and the virus is just a ruse to get us where they want us totally under control. Anyone who does not believe this will get one hell of a shock once 2021 starts. Life will be so much worse than they ever imagined.

  3. How the modern MSM would portray 1930s Nazis

If CNN was reporting in 1930s Germany …….

November 9 to November 10, 1938, courageous (mainly peaceful) anti-capitalists protesters from the heroic National Socialist Workers party were provoked into defending themselves from the dirty Jews who oppress ordinary, decent, hard-working Germans.

The mainly peaceful Brown Shirts were left with no choice (when exercising their democratic rights to peacefully protest the sweeping inequity in society caused by the twin headed monster of the Jews and Capitalists) but to defend themselves from their oppressors.

Anonymous sources have confirmed that contrary to what the Jew-Capitalist world media is saying, every single one of the synagogues burned was set alight by militant and violent far right rabbis in a transparent attempt to smear the mainly peaceful heroes of the National Socialist Workers party. As proof of the global Jew-Capitalist conspiracy they have already come up with a marketing tag line for this assault on the integrity of the mainly peaceful National Socialist Workers party brown shirts – Kristallnacht.

National Socialist Workers party leader and well-known humanitarian Adolf Hitler is said to be beside himself with grief at how his mainly peaceful followers are being so egregiously persecuted by the Jew-Capitalist cabal that have been responsible for the oppression and persecution of the brave Aryans of Germany.

    History is repeating itself.

Which is why it has been so important to remove history from schools and replacing it with something more culturally acceptable to Marxists like the history of how the white man oppressed Maori in New Zealand.

  4. Not a book, a good summation of previous times, showing how history looks likes rhyming.

…… there are certainly a number of key differences, there are also a number of striking parallels that make the topic worthy of discussion and examination. ……

  5. Was this a ‘conditioning’ psyop to prepare the nation for no Tourism?

Maori have a great saying “Walking backwards into the future”, by which I understand that one should always remain cogniscent of what has gone on before as a way to understand what is happening now and in the future.

I find these days when you look back you see breadcrumbs that seem to indicate the ground was being laid for the great Covid plannedemic in so many ways. In criminal investigation, these breadcrumbs are called “evidence” and they are the components that comprise a prosecutors building blocks to prove guilt. In politics these same breadcrumbs are dismissed and called “conspiracy theories”.

It seems incredibly convenient that in late December, while the Covid seeds were being quietly sown among the major nations of the world, a seemingly typically silly ivory tower report from the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment warning (apocalyptically – as they always do) that NZ’s clean green and pristine environment was under threat by the growth of tourism (ignoring of course that it was one of our largest export earners on which 10s if not 100s of thousands of Kiwis wellbeing is at least partly dependent on).

In short, was this a mild conditioning for the total evisceration of our Tourism industry. Are the green fascists secretly rejoicing that Tourism has gone. Was this an attempt to make us a little more accepting of Jacinda’s move to turn us into the South Pacific closed borders equivalent of North Korea or Myanmar?

And of course, let us not forget who is the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment. Simon Upton. The sad little fucker who is responsible for the oppressive Resource Management Act, who has only just returned from a dozen years in the ultra-globalist OECD where he was in various top cat loony environmentalist roles. Installed in the role by our very own Benedict Arnold – John Key.

The more you look, the more you see. It’s starting to look more like conspiracy fact rather than conspiracy theory.

    9

    • As Hansel & Gretel found out, the little birds ate the breadcrumbs, removed the facts, or revised.
Previously they had time to gather pebbles.

I am still cognizant of facts and how they may line up, but there is the major part of “The best laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men.”

But Mousie, thou art no thy-lane,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men
      Gang aft agley,
An’ lea’e us nought but grief an’ pain,
      For promis’d joy!

Still, thou art blest, compar’d wi’ me!
      The present only toucheth thee:
But Och! I backward cast my e’e,
      On prospects drear!
An’ forward tho’ I canna see,
      I guess an’ fear!

Many things are set up as “knee jerk reflex” that are not ideal to what triggers them.
      Then some things just align.
Some plan deliberately aware of the costly process, and then many others that are just sublimely dreaming of heavenly paradise, that turns into “quicksand”, that entraps others.

  6. English doesn’t use macrons.
I noticed that the word “Tamaki” is no longer published. Macrons have appeared. Now, the Auckland City council and NZ Herald refer to Tāmaki Drive. How long before the street signs are changed?
Were the people ever asked if they wanted to have the words of their native language replaced with ones from Te Reo?
    Was the changeover widely publicized?
If I do a post-graduate paper at the University of Auckland, will I be penalized if I don’t use macrons in place names or other proper nouns?

New Zealand really doesn’t protect its language and history.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/americas/300077638/us-border-tunnel-appears-to-be-most-sophisticated

The tunnel intended for smuggling ran from a neighbourhood in San Luis Río Colorado, Mexico, to San Luis, Arizona, where it stopped short of reaching the surface. It was built in an area that’s not conducive to tunnels because of the terrain, and it had a ventilation system, water lines, electrical wiring, a rail system and extensive reinforcement, federal officials say.

  8. A little dig on the Beirut bombing.
    A possible scenario.

    Directed Energy Weapons
    Published:21 April 2020
    Michael Spencer:
Wing Commander Michael Spencer is an Officer Aviation (Maritime Patrol & Response) currently serving in the Air Power Development Centre to analyze the potential risks and opportunities posed by technology change drivers and disruptions to future air and space power.

DEW damage mechanisms can range from the low-energy temporary dazzling of aircraft/spacecraft optical sensors, inflicting heat discomfort and injury to combatants, to high-energy catastrophic damage of material systems including aircraft and spacecraft.
It is not the energy output by a DEW but the energy that is absorbed by the target that is significant to plan the designs and damage effects for DEW. Some targets, such as re-entering ICBM warheads and hypersonic missiles, may use materials that are designed to resist and survive high temperatures; some materials may reflect the light energy away from the target.
A cost-benefit of DEW is the significant reduction in the recurring cost of a non-kinetic energy pulse compared to the cost of kinetic weapon rounds used against the targets. However, the nonrecurring expense of the DEW launcher systems, especially its energy source, will require more investments into the designs for 11 energy storage, management, and conversion, and more complex aiming systems.
The integration of DEW into domestic and military operations needs to consider the potential for DEW spillover and collateral damage risks.

Iran announces plan to produce explosives used in missile warheads. 7 April 2016

Iran intends to produce the powerful explosive Octogen for use in the warheads of its missiles to improve their “destructive and penetration power,” Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said Wednesday.
    https://www.timesofisrael.com/iran-says-its-planning-to-produce-explosives-used-in-missile-warheads/

    What is Octogen (HMX)?
HMX is more complicated to manufacture than most explosives, and this confines it to specialist applications. It may be produced by nitration of hexamine in the presence of acetic anhydride, paraformaldehyde and ammonium nitrate. RDX produced using the Bachmann Process usually contains 8–10% HMX.

    Why Lebanon?
On 7 April 2016 Under a UN Security Council resolution passed alongside a landmark nuclear deal, Iran is forbidden to develop weapons that can carry nuclear weapons.

    • That doesn’t surprise me. I did someone make mention of Facebook limiting access (rather than outright banning) to Bitchute, because it contains the word “bitch”.

  11. NZ election 2020: Giving workers more sick leave ‘bit of a stretch’ – National’s Gerry Brownlee

National’s not interested in giving workers more sick leave, saying it “shouldn’t be on the table” as unemployment rises.

“It’s something we are discussing at the moment,” Labour MP and Employment Minister Willie Jackson told Newshub last week. “Extra five days is the view at the moment.”

Brownlee said with unemployment set to rise over the next few months, now’s not the time to be adding potential costs on for employers.

“An employer taking someone on is going to have to provide for more sick days. No one’s lacking compassion, but I think at the moment that’s a bit of a stretch.”

In NZ it will be thought that police are ok with “sovereign citizens” and support them in the uniform of the new recruits, red & black, with a logo patch on their back I believe.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/waikato-times/news/122349681/expharmacists-sordid-campaign-against-former-employers

Upset at being falsely accused of being a drunk and a thief, an ex-pharmacist launched an intricate revenge campaign against his former employers which saw one his victims receive lewd pictures after a fake profile on a gay dating website was set up in his name.

Simon Cooper, 44, sent photographs of fake HIV results to another of his victims, as well as photos of his former colleague’s husband alleging he had a gambling habit on a forged NZ Racing Board letterhead.

Cooper was sentenced in Hamilton District Court recently to three months community detention on three charges of causing harm by posting digital communication and creating a false document.

It was an end to a long-running stoush with his former employers at Hamilton Pharmacy that involved defamation proceedings in the High Court.

  16. So after two weeks without landlines in our household a lovely Asian lady just rang me to inform me that Spark guarantees our phones will be working by Tuesday at the latest.
She was lost for words when I pointed out that our phones had started working on Friday morning,FFS Spark is without doubt the worst company in this Country they dont know what is going on with their own systems.
They gave me a loan cell phone to use for outgoing national calling which has never worked ,they tried on six different occasions to divert incoming calls to my cell and just couldnt do it .
on Wednesday last week they admitted they couldnt divert calls to my cell but had no idea why they couldn’t, its been a joke for 14 days. FUCK SPARK…

Employees have the opportunity to join our vibrant diversity staff support networks, including Gen (gender), The Network (black Asian and minority ethnic), Spectrum (LGBT+) and Able (disabilities).

The introduction of a $3,100 fee for returning New Zealanders will disadvantage Māori disproportionately, Phoebe Carr (Ngāti Awa, Ngāi Tūhoe) and Max Harris argue.

The government has once again failed to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi by rushing through legislation to introduce exorbitant managed isolation fees for returning New Zealanders. This fee will have massive implications on low-income whānau that have to return to their whenua for a short amount of time, and although it will affect Māori, the decision to introduce the fee was not made by Māori, nor in partnership with Māori, nor in any visible consultation with Māori.

  21. Tough on some.
Should there be a better solution?
Perched at the top of the Elliot Stables building in central Auckland, it was voted by Hostelworld as the city’s most popular backpackers four years in a row and the third most popular backpackers in the world in 2019. With every one of its 100 beds booked solidly for months on end, it was a lucrative and valuable business, fully capable of affording its hefty $360,000-a-year lease.

Today The Attic Backpackers is quiet. Most of its beds are bare. A full team of three staff attend to a handful of guests: mostly idle stragglers awaiting visas or their flights home. “No events scheduled” is written on the chalkboard by the reception area, and the large communal kitchen is empty except for a solitary guest making pasta. Emptiness and silence are not features you’d equate with a youth backpackers. But they’ve become the common symptoms of the withering atrophy that has beset many New Zealand tourism businesses since Covid-19 emerged.

    • Yep. You wanna see Bangkok and Phuket ! Ive never ever seen anything like it. Doors closed. Entire areas that were once saturated with tourists..dead. Businesses going under, daily. Suicides at an all time high, rising crime. Queues of people lining up for meagre food packs.. I lost count at 300, all standing outside under the blistering sun and tropical heat. Bloody scary stuff. The Thai government has been paying out Thai citizens 5000b per month ( those that qualify ) thats about $250nz. This comes to an end shortly. Tourism in Phuket accounts for 80% of the islands revenue. Something like 3 trillion baht now down to SFA. Couple of good things have come out of it, the ocean has never looked so clean, the air is fresh and turtles are laying eggs again ..something that hasn’t happend for a long time.

  22. Nelson woman Jacqui Irwin has invested time and money to keep her Brook Valley home warm for winter.

However, a recent smoke scare involving her woodburner fire and heat transfer system has provided a chilling reminder of the need for extra care when heating the home overnight.

Last week Irwin’s son returned home from town at 2am to find the house filled with smoke.

Three hours earlier, Irwin had gone to bed after dampening down the fire for the evening and leaving the heat transfer function on to distribute heat.
“He basically walked into a room where you could hardly see the other side of it – the poor old dog was staggering about on the floor.

  23. National’s new Rangitata candidate would like to see more mothers in Parliament and thinks her ‘’strong background’’ in rural and environmental management will help in her campaign for the seat.

Megan Hands, 29, an Environment Canterbury councillor based in Darfield, was confirmed as the electorate’s new candidate following a Party meeting at Hotel Ashburton on Sunday.

The Party was forced to select a new candidate just weeks out from the September 19 General Election after disgraced former Rangitata MP Andrew Falloon resigned amid allegations he had sent unsolicited indecent images to several women.

Hands joins MP Jo Luxton (Labour), Hamish Hutton (ACT), Gerrie Ligtenberg (Greens), Lachie Ashton (New Conservative) and Brannon Favel (Social Credit) in the race for the Rangitata seat.

Instead you have to sacrifice time. Good time that could have been enjoyed with family & friends. Just so a few deluded religious pricks can suck up to their imaginary god.

Take a few of the cunts with you!

  24. Very young German man points out the anti-state methods for making sure everyone who has an audience sticks to the narrative. It is quite excellent analysis for such a young man.
His channel is called, “NeverForgetNiki” and the source of this video is:

“Young German man points out the facts of the leftist anti-state in Germany”
    https://3speak.online/watch?v=rairfoundation/spvwshhh
    8 minutes 58 secs. : Published on Aug 09, 2020
    All subtitled, and rattles along.

Sort of refreshing, knowing things we know, but a different perspective, and builds what the situation is like in Germany.
Surprising on a number of instances running parallels of some of the issues in NZ, like the problem of the “dictatorship of the left” and why the law should also apply to them equally. Special people is NZ answer. 🙁

Good in making sure our compasses align over these issues. 🙂

They try to downplay all of that, they try to defame these people.
We now have 150,000 subscribers on this channel, which is an awful lot. ….. it’s really unbelievable. ……. ……. and it shows me that we are even more numerous.
Especially from the Left, from these people who want this left-wing dictatorship, there is really not such a large formation, and there is not that much power.
We actually have the power; we just have to learn to use it, and I work on it every day with these videos.

Keep at it young fellow. 🙂

    • A bit more on the young fellow, as he battles censorship by the big tech. in Germany.
      .
In his Youtube videos he talks about reprisals and the pressure he faced at school just because he publicly criticized Merkel’s refugee policy.
He was literally told by the teaching staff: “We are colorful here, if you do not like it, you do not belong here.”
Due to his critical opinion he was exposed to interrogation methods, as in the former GDR era.
He even lost his apprenticeship due to his political opinion.
So far, tens of thousands are already following him in social networks such as Instagram, Facebook and Telegram. …
…. He calls for civil courage. …
      .
…. His latest statement [circa August 2019] about the climate activist Greta Thunberg probably mobilized many climate fanatics, who demanded the deletion of his channel.
Now his channel was deleted without any warning because of alleged “hate speech”. …..
      .
….. His lawyer Joachim Steinhöfel posted on his Twitter the following:
      Important success against YouTube:
The day before yesterday, the channel “neverforgetniki” was illegally deleted because of alleged hate speech.
YouTube has now restored the channel before the deadline that was set by us.
We are now reviewing claims for damages.

      https://noblenashville.com/sociocritical-german-youtuber-neverforgetniki-deleted-from-youtube-freedom-of-speech-at-risk-in-germany/

And they restated his you tube channel. 🙂
I do note that the above website is also pressured by “google non approved site etc.” and this time got through.

  25. The Auckland Central selection for National is on Monday. Here’s a quick summary of the three candidates.

    Nuwanthie Samarakone

Nuwi was born in Sri Lanka. She had her early childhood in Scotland and moved to Auckland as a teenager. She has a degree in health sciences and after working in the public and private health sector set up her own consultancy firm which operates in six countries.

    Rob Thomas

Rob is well known through his work in local government. He is a former Chair of the Auckland Youth Council and was elected to the Waitemata Local Board in 2010, 2013 and 2016. He’s been involved in numerous community projects. He stood unsuccessfully for the Auckland Council in 2016.

    Emma Mellow

Emma had a tough time growing up. Her mother was a solo mum and died when Emma was 16. This very sad event led to Emma being incredibly determined and driven from a young age. Emma studied at Auckland University as well as the London School of Economics and the University of California.

Emma has been working for almost a decade in communications and public relations. She’s worked on behalf of companies such as HP, Symantec, General Electric, Telstra and Mastercard and more recently had senior roles with Sydney Airport and ANZ Bank.

On Patreon I analyse what I see as the pros and cons of the three candidates.

    From Mr Farrar.

So we have a successful hard working well educated lady. One with her own money!
A professional trougher with a list of political jobs. Another JLR in the making.
A lady who has had more jobs than you have had hot dinners working for others.

    the choice is rather obvious.

  26. Nasska,
Where do you think “do unto others as you would have them do unto you etc “came from?

Morality from 2020 years ago that you know is not driven by self interest,
2000 years too late for self interest.

So we do need values to live by.

    Just saying.

  27. In Melbourne presently,
Just a few rules to live by, more on the list attached.

Police may now enter anyone’s home without a warrant.
    Curfew 8:00pm.
$1,652 fine if outside without “a valid reason” – an amount being raised by the day
Can’t visit any family or friends.
$200 fine for no mask (mandatory masks at all times).
Can only exercise once per day, for up to 1 hour.
Only one person per household, per day can leave the house (including for groceries).
Can’t go more than 3 miles from your home.
    Weddings are illegal.
    No gatherings of any size.
Army is on the streets fining/arresting people.
“Since March 21, a total of 193,740 spot checks have been conducted by police across Victoria.”
Protests/activism is illegal; people have already been arrested for peaceful gatherings.
Media is EXTREMELY biased, calls protesters “right wing conspiracy nutjobs” and won’t allow discussion of whether these lockdowns are right or not.
Several thousand people were placed under house arrest and unable to leave for ANY reason, with food rations delivered by the army, leading to appalling levels of personal trauma.
Australia won’t release how many fines they’ve given out, but an ABC news report says it’s over $5.2 million so far.
Streets of Melbourne are empty, even in a city of 5 million+ people. People are HATEFUL to each other, everyone is cannibalising their neighbours (calling police to report any little infraction of the rules and turning on each other like some socialist hellhole).

  28. Is there even the slightest indication that all these extreme measures in Victoria are having any effect on rate of Covid infections? How long will they continue doing the wrong things before they finally admit they have totally f*cked up I wonder?

    • Maybe someone should send them some ANFO. Lebanon is not too concerned about Covid right now…. Humans seem to respond to the maximum perceived risk. Climate Change was displaced by Covid which wil be displaced by a more imminent realistic threat ( ANFO or BLM protests, Hurricanes or Earthquakes)….
