Colour changes to light blue for 20 or more upticks and to light red/pink for 20 down ticks. Pink colour denotes the lefties.
We are now using the Australia New Zealand English dictionary so there will be less spelling mistakes

  3. Was catching up on current events last night while still working away in the shop, couldn’t believe this greedy, lazy, entitled rubbish..

1st family: 1 parent working as insulation installer on minimum wage, and what seems to be a stay at home mum 5 kids. Want winter energy payment extended to the ‘working poor’ instead of just beneficiaries as currently done, and another raise of the minimum wage….

2nd family: Mum drove forklifts at night on minimum wage, and spent her days looking after 6 of her 10!!!! children!!! No mention of any father/partner. She says ‘It’s not really easy, most of all my income goes on our bills, and, uhhm… our food… and we’re left with very little”

WHO THE FUCK HAS 10 KIDS WHILE WORKING A DEAD END JOB??? Or even 5?
Do they think everyone else is struggling with the weight of wallets laden with extra cash left over every week, and not struggling by with little left over regardless of their employment/remuneration package…?

The minimum wage is just that, a minimum, a starting point. There is nothing stopping them from showing some initiative and either upskilling or just proving why they’re worth more than minimum wage/others on that wage. Its a personal choice.

    • No extra money for extra kids. Period. Without being “cruel”, how the f*ck do we as a society put a stop to this? Minimum wage IS for kids and young adults, not a wage you raise them up on! It wouldn’t even pay the rent.

    • Wasn’t the drunken dwarf a “Treasurer” in a past life. Shows you Cindy doesn’t trust him or his advice.
What is the difference between a treasurer and a finance minister?

      • Nah – Bill Birch was doing all of the work when Peters was flaunting the Treasures title.

  4. Tenant expects landlords to be money trees. She’s shocked when landlord increases rent after doing her desired improvements.

You just know there’s a lot missing in this story. Journalists just love telling half the story.

She said she had been asking for a while before the appliance was installed and had been paying power bills as high as $500 a month for the 42 square metre property.

“We were standing in the lounge and [the landlord said] this has cost us money so you’ll be getting a rent increase. My heart sank… the clear message was ‘I am the landlord, I have the power. I can increase your rent’.”

  5. I used to get phone calls all the time when I worked for Local Govt, from tenants and landlords about that old 1947 law which can be interpreted as “every house shall be provided with a fireplace” or something like that. In those days, most people had a fireplace. In order to comply with the law, you can by an el-cheapo warehouse plug-in heater and the tenant is obviously responsible for the power bill. Some people thought Big Bad Building Inspector Man was going to force landlords to start retro-fitting wood burners! Boy were they disappointed.

    • Yup, Cindy really thinks she is cute doesn’t she. Full of bullsh*t and glib answers and that ever increasing huge fake smile. As the Titanic sank the band played on comes to mind. The turd rolled in glitter is becoming exposed.

      • Every word that leaves her mouth is a LIE! This PM doesn’t even have the balls to fire the worst Housing Minister we’ve ever had. What kind of leader would she be in time of war? Just sayin’!

  7. An American soldier, serving in World War II, had just returned from several weeks of intense action on the German front lines. He had finally been granted R&R and was on a train bound for London. The train was very crowded, so the soldier walked the length of the train, looking for an empty seat. The only unoccupied seat was directly adjacent to a well-dressed middle-aged lady and was being used by her little dog. The war weary soldier asked, “Please, ma’am, may I sit in that seat?” The English woman looked down her nose at the soldier, sniffed and said, “You Americans. You are such a rude class of people. Can’t you see my little Fifi is using that seat?” The soldier walked away, determined to find a place to rest, but after another trip down to the end of the train, found himself again facing the woman with the dog. Again he asked, “Please, lady. May I sit there? I’m very tired.” The English woman wrinkled her nose and snorted, “You Americans! Not only are you rude, you are also arrogant. Imagine!” The soldier didn’t say anything else; he leaned over, picked up the little dog, tossed it out the window of the train and sat down in the empty seat. The woman shrieked and railed, and demanded that someone defend her and chastise the soldier. An English gentleman sitting across the aisle spoke up, “You know, sir, you Americans do seem to have a penchant for doing the wrong thing. You eat holding the fork in the wrong hand. You drive your cars on the wrong side of the road. And now, sir, you’ve thrown the wrong bitch out the window.‚ÄĚ

    • Chuck…. Mallard is not a fit & proper person to be the speaker.

Under the very weak non existent leadership this Govt is imploding.

It’s nothing but a disgrace and reflects badly on us.

Ardern should sort out her numerous problems at home before swanning around the world saying look at me.

      • Thanks for the giggle TJF! Cindy doesn’t sort out problems. She just denies, denies, denies. All is swell in the COL. Any incompetence is swept away with an ingratiating smile, a concerned tilt of the head and blather designed to confuse or bore us into submission. Cindy sort stuff, nah. ?

        • Comrade Waikatogirl,
There is nothing to “sort”… Everything is going exacdly to plan.

Now, which salt mine do you prefer for your “redeployment”?

  9. Breaking News. National claims it has been leaked Liabors budget details.

If correct Cindy will be stamping her tiny feet.

Apparently it’s more about keeping NZ First on side and includes an increase for Defence.

  15. KiwiBuild is scheduled to deliver just 1535 houses in Labour’s first term in Government, a fraction of the 16,000 originally promised.

Just 101 homes have been built so far, well below an original target of 1000 built in the first year of the program’s operation.

National’s Judith Collins extracted the figure from Housing Minister Phil Twyford during Question Time on Tuesday, asking how many homes were contracted to be built before the election next year – which will occur at some point prior to December 2020.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/113073772/kiwibuild-scheduled-to-deliver-just-1535-houses-by-2020-election-a-tenth-of-original-goal

How many will the taxpayer buy back?

It would be bad for my health
And I can no longer buy disposable plastic sick bags because of her.
