    • Thanks Floyd – terrifying rate of increase, wonder what the reaction of the young who voted in Labour Greens will be when they find out they will be paying? Also wonder if Rogers prediction in the words from In the Flesh song – who let this riff raff into the room will become fact, recent events in France & Germany don’t bode well for harmony!!!! Perhaps Enoch Powells prediction will also come true – only the older generation will make these connections.

      • How ironic freethinker, that I have been listening to that very album over the last 2 days to and fro the spinach mine!
I found the words from Goodbye Blue Sky very succinct yesterday driving home, and got me wondering the correlation between the ‘falling bombs’ and our current pending reckoning:

        Did you ever wonder why
We had to run for shelter
When the promise of a brave new world
Unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?

Cuts close to what is coming for all wrongthinkers I feel

  2. Not a matter causing offence for me. I note there is a suggestion Mr Peters should be granted the ability to make a valedictory speech in Parliament.

MP’s who were leaving prior to the election made their valedictory speech before they left. Those who intended to seek re election did not. Mr Peters sought re election and was not successful. He does not get to make a valedictory speech in Parliament.

Selected the mad bictch and idiots, rorted a shitload of dough to give to favorite charities. Which I would say come up a few brown bags short at accounting.

  3. You gotta love that Kiwi optimism, some years ago U S scientists completed their task of “mapping the Human Genome” and now in 2020 NZ our Scientists have finished their task of mapping the Genome of a WASP and according to officials its an “International breakthrough that will be a gamechanger.”
Where the fuck has “punching above our weight” gone? they should have saved money and done it to a flea FFS or even something smaller, Willie Jacksons brain.

As long as you can con most of the people every three years, you can stay in power. Promises, promises. Vague..Lets do this..Lets keep moving etc,

My prediction is that the sheeple who voted for Ms Mc Smiley Face will be far worse off in three years time, while the wealthier dudes on the sunny side of the street will just keep getting richer, in spite of the government looking for extra revenue..

How many months can they hold it together? It’s all going to end badly for many.

        • I think a more important question is how much capital is going to flee this anti-capital government. One way tickets to Australia already being seen. The settings here right now are downright scary to incentivise capital flight – insanely high property prices, prospect of extremist crusade against those who have worked hard and saved, followed by debt-fuelled hyper-inflation and crashing economy. Savings and pensions are set to become worthless.

We will be Venezuela inside of 10 years.

  4. Two guys grow up together, but after college one moves to Georgia and the other to California. They agree to meet every ten years in Florida to play golf and catch up with each other.
At age 32 they meet, finish their round of golf and head for lunch. “Where you wanna go?”
    “Hooters.”
    “Why Hooters?”
“They have those servers with the big boobs, the tight shorts and the gorgeous legs.”
    “You’re on.”
At age 42, they meet and play golf again “Where you wanna go for lunch?”
    “Hooters.”
    “Again? Why?”
“They have cold beer, big screen TVs, and side action on the games.”
    “OK.”
At age 52 they meet and play again. “So where you wanna go for lunch?”
    “Hooters.
    “Why?”
“The food is pretty good and there’s plenty of parking.”
    “OK.”
At age 62 they meet again. After a round of golf, one says, “Where you wanna go?”
    “Hooters.”
    “Why?”
“Wings are half price and the food isn’t too spicy.”
    “Good choice”
At age 72 they meet again. Once again, after a round of golf, one says, “Where shall we go for lunch?”
    “Hooters.”
    “Why?”
“They have six handicapped parking spaces right by the door and they have senior discounts.”
    “Great choice.”
At age 82 they meet and play again. “Where should we go for lunch?”
    “Hooters.”
    “Why?”
“Because we’ve never been there before.”
“Okay, let’s give it a try.”

  5. Labour’s Rachel Boyack and ACT’s Brooke van Velden outlined their priorities as new MPs this morning, including their different stances on how to tackle poverty in New Zealand.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/new-act-labour-mps-outline-different-stances-tackle-poverty-in-nz?auto=6203631599001

“You can only care about environmental degradation if you have the time, money and skills to actually do that.”

Van Velden said she will focus on improving housing and mental health as an MP.

She also promised to both hold the Government to account, but also provide it with constructive ideas.

Boyack, who comes from a trade union background, said she agreed with van Velden that poverty is an issue in New Zealand.

“I have a big focus on lifting people out of poverty through higher wages.”

  6. For the next 3 years we are stuck with Ardern and her other Marxist mates. This leaves us with several elephants in the room. One is the position of deputy PM that apparently could be filled by the useless Kelvin if he wants it.

As he is useless and an embarrassing sick joke we should instead consider having the position filled by sweet cheeks Grant. At least he is capable of making a decision.

  9. Mainstreaming gangs by TVNZ.

‘Insufficient progress’ made to reduce assaults, gang activity in Rimutaka Prison – report
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/09/insufficient-progress-made-to-reduce-assaults-gang-activity-in-rimutaka-prison-report.html

The report also said there’d been an increase in the number of gang members since its 2017 inspection.

Of the 1038 prisoners housed as of September 2019, 536 (51.6 percent) identified as gang members. Of those, 346 (64.5 percent) were housed in the high security units. Overall, there was an increase of 157 active gang members since the 2017 inspection.

Staff told inspectors the ongoing presence of gang members in the units had led to an increase in prisoner tattooing, particularly facial tattoos.

  10. Let prisoners aggressive behaviour slide and it escalates then Kelvin needs to explain why staff are not being protected over inmates rights.

Corrections grappling with dramatic rise of ‘punches’, ‘weaponised’ assaults in prisons
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2020/10/corrections-grappling-with-dramatic-rise-of-punches-weaponised-assaults-in-prisons.html

When it comes to prisoners attacking staff, there’s been a 97 percent increase in ‘non-serious’ assaults, and gang involvement in those has increased by 114 percent. These figures compare the period 2016-2017 to 2019-2020.
Dave said while he worked for Corrections, staff felt as though they couldn’t speak up or talk about this behaviour openly.

“There’s a culture of fear. A lot of people would like to come forward and speak, but they will be ostracised by the Department of Corrections.”

When Newshub spoke to Corrections, it didn’t deny there was a problem and said it’s working hard on reducing assaults.

  11. It looks like some of the propaganda department has been moved onto the economy now.

On the 7.00am news there was a piece about job vacancies and how they had increased in the 3rd quarter by significant amounts, all around the country ( I cannot recall the exact figures) but they omitted to actually say they were comparing to the 2nd quarter which covers the period when we were all locked up. A 10-15% increase on a very low base is hardly an increase at all. At the very end they slipped in the comment “but it was down 28% on the corresponding quarter of 2019.
NB. They did not have a Govt. person giving the figures but someone in the recruitment industry –bound to be a faithful card carrying Labour Party person.

  13. Mayor Sadiq Khan might say, “it’s all part and parcel of living in a diverse society.”
A ‘Spoonley’ “super-diversity” where all the “action” will be.

Always looking to take it to the Peters Principle, of incompetency.
A country may be success with one run of refugees, so these immigrant specialists, just like in the past, about like farmers consultants, always pushed to over stocking, until the cows were walking toast racks.
The worst enemy of a cow, is another cow, as they struggled but in the name of “efficiency” for production, it was “good”.
But the cows answered back, like not getting back into calf, having slips, the cost of bought in feed is high, veterinary bills too high, and the farmers under extreme pressure, started easing back, and their discussion groups helped others to ease back and changed tack.
Of course the consultants conveniently forget their previous advice, and then go on selling the “new advice”.

Sadly one can only cull cows, and readjust.
Why do the “Spoonley’s” of this world, not see that one can not simply adjust to reverse with humans.
No care, no consideration, just to ruthlessly follow another agenda, and locked into that doctrine.

The Socialist Left Party (SV) and the Green Party (MDG) demand that the government presents a concrete figure on how many asylum seekers Norway will receive from Greece in 2021 before the New Year. ….
…….. The corona pandemic has led to Norway barely having time to take in all the 3,000 quota refugees who were supposed to arrive in the country this year. ………

    https://norwaytoday.info/news/norways-socialist-left-and-green-party-pressure-government-to-take-in-more-refugees-from-greece/

At least that lot in Norway are in opposition.

Where is a government party that can simply say NO, to this “invited immigration” as now being decreed by the UN Global Migration Pact.
Also to look around at the pressures like the education systems, construction industry, farming, halal slaughter-men, and make those lobby groups look for other workable alternatives.
How to fix the gaps, like work visas are enforced, and not simply upgraded to residency to citizenship, which seems to be a routine path.

No one wears any guilt in the Emirates, Saudi, about how controlling those work visas are.
Residency? Citizenship? yeah right. though I think you may be a bit mad if you truly want those.
Ok there is money floating around for the ones who work to pick that up, but then they set up to go back home.

Just look at the number that seem to get in as MP’s now, and then question just what is a NZ’er.
Looking to follow the supposed global liberal green doctrines, that builds “shit holes”.

    From the cow rant above,
As any lamb farmer also knows, the worst enemy of a lamb is another lamb. Good feed, space and not eating near each other’s poo, as it builds up a contamination of each other.
The worst enemy of a refugee, is another refugee.

“Up until now we’ve been fighting lockdown and now we’re fighting these absolute extremists out there full of absolute hate towards the business.”

  15. China & Covid 19 –
China has reported only – 3,345 deaths out of 1.3 Billion if you believe that I have several bridges and towers for sale at very reasonable prices.
This Aussie article in June paints a different picture and is very credible, my info out of Taiwan reckon Chinese Covid deaths at 500,000 – in June 2020 -today’s figure likely to be higher. To add more news unreported by NZ MSM – Bubonic plague in Mongolia has spread with a number of villages quarantined, and cases appearing in Russia close to its Chinese border. Brucellosis is also appearing & spreading in China and there are growing reports of a food shortage in China due to Lock downs and similar situations exist in other major western food producing countries. Does this explain why Xi is Sabre rattling – he knows he has an internal problem so diverts attention to almost non existent external threats and paints himself as the Saviour after taking lessons from a skeletal female in a small distant cuntry.

    • Well, if you were creating a virus which you intended to release on the rest of the world, you wouldn’t release it until you had your own vaccine. You’d have very few casualties from the virus, but the world would call bullshit on your reported deaths because you’re, well, China. Once the rest of the world was inundated with the virus, but before they could manage to commercially manufacture their own vaccine, you’d start your sabre-rattling.

Trump is in dangerous territory on a number of accounts.
Playing around with the Federal Reserve Bank systems, as in 1840 elections.
The money also tied in with what Big Tech seems to be aiming for, yet may lose in a break up.
Enough crazies from antifa, BLM, though many are dumb, like Hunter, still there is a lot of deep seated power out there, with their agenda.
Telling the UN to get stuffed, over immigration, WHO, kicking the Paris Accords, pushes on fracking to gain self-sufficiency, and not letting any UN gain any sovereignity over the USA
Seeming to be bringing troops home, getting others to finance their defence, though maybe starting more defense weapons for the forces.
President Xi would wish he never tangled with Trump.
I think Putin may wish him dead, but probably has a more mutual respect, by now.

          • Yes indeed, and who was the last president who wanted to fuck with the monetary system, and to go back to the greenback?

            Trump will get whacked.
It will be one of the final nails.

            Look, we’re all fucked.

            Be armed and be ready.

The cucks who think you can stop what’s coming with a biro in a ballot box are sorely mistaken. Some of us will fight to the death. Death being preferable to the life that is in store otherwise.
Most will meekly and obediently join the flock, and have.
The day of reckoning will come to pass. It may be 20 years yet, max, but it’s coming. There’s no other outcome. There are too many sheep.

People may post blithely of things that are happening in passing, but they are all little nails.

Once the boomers are gone, and their ethics and mentality with them, we’re done. Not all that were raised by that generation took it onboard and want to carry it on.

He also said that the future for Trump supporters in the company is quite grim. “If I say that tomorrow that I’m a Trump supporter, I’d probably lose my job.”…
…. So far, three revelations have been shared with the public, the first one being about search functions, the second one about the bias when it comes to advertising, and the third one about search results and how they are manipulative. ….

The worst part we all sort of know it,,, but I am finding that I can find YSB more easily and HYS. 🙂
      Echo chambers. 🙂
The worst part is how they have deleted or hide what I know is there, making it difficult to track back to.
I have found it is quicker when I know I have posted a link on YSB , and can track back to it quite quickly 🙂

  24. Top showjumper’s addiction ends in tragedy on Taupō foreshore
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/123171519/top-showjumpers-addiction-ends-in-tragedy-on-taup-foreshore

Helen Dorothy Smith, 49, was found dead on October 16 on the shoreline of Lake Taupō near Mere Rd along with Trevor Malcolm Wiringi, 50, from Rotorua.

The day Smith died she had been drinking down by the lake and swimming with Wiringi.

The pair drank so much they passed out, and Mussen said she understood hypothermia killed Smith overnight.

    • A cold, spring night in Taupo.
Why would you be drinking outside in that weather? And be so drunk that the idea of going for a swim in freezing water would be appealing…
I guess excessive alcohol does strange things to some people.

      • There are hot springs pushing warm water up into the Lake at that part of the foreshore Odakyu-sen. A bit like Hot Water Beach near Mercury Bay.
